Dear Ms***,
I am in receipt of and have reviewed the above referenced complaint filed by Ms*** against Receivables Performance Management, LLC (RPM)RPM is a licensed third party collection agency operating in all fifty states and the District of ColumbiaMs***
claims that he has fulfilled an agreement to settle a Sprint account he made with RPM in JuneHe alleges that RPM is attempting to bill more than what was agreed toAfter review of our records I offer the following response on behalf of RPM:
RPM received Ms***’s DIRECTV account for collection on January 22, RPM’s business records reflect that in April Ms*** appeared to reach an agreement to resolve the account via RPM’s website over five payments totaling $The payments posted as agreed, however not closed as a settlementThe account was later recalled by DIRECTVIt is unclear if there was an error on the website or the settlement was nullified due to the fact that each payment posted beyond the due date as a result of RPM having to send the payment to DIRECTV for processingRPM is advising DIRECTV that the account was previously settledOnce DIRECTV recalls the account from the current collection agency the account trade-line should be removed from Ms***’s credit history
RPM appreciates the opportunity to respond to this matter and apologize for the errorIf you have questions regarding RPM’s handling of this matter or if RPM may be of any further assistance to Ms***, please contact me directly at (425) 412-

Dear Ms***,
I am in receipt of and have reviewed the above referenced complaint filed by Mr*** against Receivables Performance Management, LLC (RPM)Mr*** states that his office has calls from RPM
intended for someone else and alleges that calls have continued despite requesting they stopAfter review of our file I offer the following response on behalf of RPM:
RPM located an account using the telephone number ending provided in the complaintThe account is in the name of a consumer who is not Mr***, however has the same last nameIn order to prevent a potential third party disclosure in violation of the Fair Debt collection Practice Act (FDCPA), RPM is withholding any further information about the consumer or the debt
RPM’s business records reflect that the number at issue was obtained from a third party vendor as good number to reach the consumer responsible for the debtRPM marked it a wrong number upon the first contact October 19th Until that time RPM was unaware that we were calling a wrong numberRPM has added Mr***’ number to our permanent ‘do not call’ database preventing future calls should the number be listed on a subsequent account
RPM appreciates the opportunity to resolve this matter to Mr***’s satisfaction and apologize for any inconvenience our calls may have causedIf you have questions regarding RPM’s handling of this matter or if RPM may be of any further assistance to Mr*** please contact me directly at (425) 412-

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: RPM has incorrectly rebutted as they state my complaint is due to a debt too old to be reportedThis is NOT the reason for my complaintMy complaint is due to the fact that I was NOT contacted by Cincinnati Bell or RMP in an effort to resolve this matter before reporting to the credit agenciesIf I had been properly contacted, I would have complied with any outstanding debt and promptly paidThis debt should not be reported to my credit bureaus, and I also believe RPM/Cincinnati Bell have violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices act as well as my consumer rights. Again, I request this debt be removed from my bureaus and I be given the opportunity to settle this debt fairly
Sincerely,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Not sure what an "account trade-line" is, but I have as of today, NOT seen any removal of the fraudulent collection notice by RPM against my credit reportJust to restate what I have learned: RPM or it's representatives used skip-tracing to try and locate a delinquent *** debtorThat debtor was named *** *** and had the same address I last occupied over years agoSo RPM submitted a fraudulent name of "*** ***" and the *** collection information against my credit to all three credit reporting agenciesI have been told this is illegalI am requesting that this complaint to the Revdex.com remain open until all three credit reporting agencies have removed the fraudulent collection information from my account and the fraudulent name of "*** ***" is also removedI am having to invest a whole lot of time to follow up on this and again, if the Revdex.com would just have various people in your office try to call any of the phone numbers listed on the RPM website and see if they don't also get the most reprehensible conduct ever in trying to talk to anyoneHow can this business remain with a B rating?Yes, I did get a response to my call to MrC***Yes, he agreed it looked like incorrect information was sent to the credit reporting agenciesHe said he had sent a correction to the credit reporting agencies and that it might take a weekYes, he did give me a number for ***'s Fraud Department which in large part is how we figured out what I stated aboveBut as of yet, the fraudulent collection information remains on my accountSo please keep this complaint open
Sincerely,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:This issue is not about the debt owed to ***, it is about ensuring that all negative credit marks related to the debt will be removed from my credit upon paying the debtDuring the original phone conversation with an RPM representative, I was told that RPM would be unable to remove these marks, as *** was the original debtorIf the representative was mistaken, and RPM is able to clear these marks from my credit upon payment of the debt, then contact with *** is unnecessaryIf RPM is not able to clear these marks, then I will need to receive a written agreement from *** that negative credit marks will be cleared upon payment of the debt to RPM.
