Dear Ms***, I am in receipt of and have reviewed the above referenced complaint filed by Ms*** against Receivables Performance Management, LLC (RPM)RPM is a licensed third-party collection agency operating in all fifty states and the District of ColumbiaMs***
states that she was assured by a representative that the account would be removed from her credit history after paid; she also alleges that RPM did not notify Cincinnati Bell that her account had been paidAfter review of our records and contacting our client I offer the following response on behalf of RPM: RPM located two accounts placed by Cincinnati Bell in our office for collection in Ms***’s name; Acct #’s ending *** and ***Both were sent to RPM on February 5, RPM’s business records reflect receipt of a payment from Ms*** on July 25, in the amount of $RPM updated the account trade-line to reflect the new and remaining balance on the accountAccording to Cincinnati Bell, Ms*** paid the remaining balance directly to them on December 16, At that time, account number ending *** was closed as ‘paid in full’ and returned to Cincinnati BellRPM updated the account trade-line accordingly to reflect the ‘paid in full status’I am unclear how RPM failed to notify Cincinnati Bell that the account was paid in full, when Ms*** made payment to satisfy the obligation directly to Cincinnati Bell and not RPMAs a data furnisher to the credit reporting agencies, RPM is required to provide complete and accurate information; thus, we cannot agree to remove an account simply because it was paidFurthermore, the payment was made to Cincinnati Bell and not RPM, thus it is unlikely RPM could have made that promise to Ms***The account number ending *** remains unpaid with a balance of $RPM appreciates the opportunity to respond to this matter and resolve it to Ms***’s satisfactionIf you have questions regarding RPM’s handling of this matter or if RPM may be of any further assistance to Ms***, please contact me directly at (425) 412-Very Truly Yours, Mark * C*** General Counsel

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I called on three different occasions because I received a letter stating that the account was not paid & was told that again on three occasions I would receive an EMAIL that my account was settled that dayThe other issue is that it was reported incorrectly to the credit agenciesOur agreement was that it was a SETTLED IN FULL account but it has been reported as "settled as less then the full amount" & that lowers my credit score. It was initially listed on my account as only one payment and that was after I had made both paymentsPlease adhere to our agreement and make this the SETTLED IN FULL ACCOUNT.Sincerely,*** ***
