Again big business has exploited the young people trying to get ahead. With high interest rates, for those less fortunate among us. They change account numbers and payment addressees for primary and cosigner to further agitate the process. I sense another Bernie Madoff American greed scam approaching.

I thought Sallie Mae was bad, but Navient is beginning to top Sallie Mae I have the greatest difficulty just TRYING TO PAY my loan Navient's left hand doesn't know what the right is doing The account is routinely disabled when I go in to pay it One person tells you one thing Someone else tells you something different I HATE NAVIENT

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Until I have seen the letter posted to me by Navient regarding the matter in question I cannot accept their response to my claimOnce I do receive the letter I may be able to respond differently, but in light of the fact that the Revdex.com will assume the matter has been resolved if I do not respond within five days, and I cannot guarantee that I will receive the letter in question in that time, I reject the claim in the interim Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is NOT satisfactory to me at this time as I have not had anything arrive in the mailI just returned from Texas and will be keeping a look out for whatever they have mailed and then follow up thenAs of now this is NOT RESOLVED Regards,

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10846803, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Problem: I have already filed this complaint. I received a response from you on October 13, 2015 and this case was closed on 11-23-15. I am not please with how Navient wants to settle the case. Navient has offered solutions that would put me in more debt and/or does not address my problem. The options they gave me are, Deferment, Forbearance or Consolidation. When I started teaching in Delaware over 15 years ago, their pitch was that working in a Title 1 School would qualify me to apply for a small teacher forgiveness loan after investing 5 consecutive years. I invested over 15 years in Title 1 schools. It wasn't until I received the forgiveness application that they exposed the factor that to be eligible for TLF a customer cannot have had a balance on a Federal Direct Student Loan as of October 1, 1998. Navient was mis-leading and that stipulation is inequitable and age discriminative. To not have a loan prior to Oct 1, 1998 means that one would have to be no more than about twenty years old. Translate Desired Resolution / Outcome Desired Resolution: Other (requires explanation) select Desired Outcome: To be awarded a $5000.00 loan forgiveness towards my balance on the loan. Translate

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I received a call from a representative on 01/12/16 (didn't note her name) and she told me that she'll review my account and see about lowering my monthly payment and get back to me. She hasn't. I got a call today 01/16/16 from another agent [redacted] I.D # [redacted] and she had no record of the call and my account is still the same as it was...worse actually due to late fees. It seems my account wasn't reviewed since the last notation was the one that prompted me to contact BBB. I did make some payment today to lower my balance, nowhere near the balance of course but I'm afraid if they keep dragging this out (the chances of me suddenly coming into enough money to make those payments are nil and my response is still the same) a lot of damage will be done to my credit. As for the mail that was supposedly sent on the 12th, I haven't received it but since my account does not reflect any of the changes I'd requested, I'll have to assume the issue wasn't resolved. Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Problem: In October of last year I was suddenly laid off from my job and fell behind on my student loan paymentsWhen I finally found a new job in mid-December, I called Navient on/around 12/16/to get my account brought currentThe representative I spoke with told me that payments of $would bring my account currentI set up a $payment for 12/23/and another for 1/6/I called again a few days after 1/6/and they verified my payments went through and that my account was currentWe then set me up on automatic payments that would come out on the 5th of every month (my due date)Around February 2nd I logged into my Navient account and noticed that my account was showing as past due, even though my payment wasn’t due until 2/5/I emailed [redacted] Ahmad on February 4th, and again on February 6th when I hadn’t heard back from herShe advised me to call the Private Credit Collections department which I did on the evening of 2/9/After pressing the correct prompts to speak with someone regarding PRIVATE loans and not Dept of Ed loans, and waiting on hold for minutes, I reached “Aliyah” who was very rude and kept saying “your payment posted on the 5th, WHAT DO YOU WANT.” I told her I knew my payment posted, which is why I wanted to know why my loans were past dueAfter her repeatedly being rude and basically refusing to listen to me or try to help me, I finally figured out that she was talking about my Dept of Ed loansI told her this was regarding my PRIVATE loans and she said “I can’t help you, I have to transfer you.” Without waiting for me to respond, she transferred me and I received a message saying my hold time would be 18-minutesI pressed the prompt to receive a call backThe next person’s name is written on a piece of paper somewhere at home, but she was nicer at leastShe couldn’t figure out what was going on with my account and said she had to enter a “research request” and I’d receive an answer by 2/15/I emailed Michelle Ahmad on 2/10/to let her know of my frustration and wasted timeShe responded on 2/12/15: “I have reached out to our Private Credit Ombudsman to verify the information that was shared with you in December regarding the securing of the two paymentsAs previously advised, they set up specific programs at times, and I just want to ensure I’m providing the correct information regarding the agreement that was madeI will inform you of any information received upon conclusion of the researchIn the mean time you’re welcome to call me or email me for updates.” On 2/23/I realized I still had no answer or resolution regarding this, so I emailed [redacted] againShe told me that the delinquency was validI told her again that my issue was that I was told on multiple occasions that my account was CURRENT and that I have no money to make additional payments on top of my already crippling monthly payments, she once again said the delinquency is validI have put in HOURS of my personal time to try to resolve this and get answers, and I’ve been met with long hold times, no answers, no response, and a rude representative named AliyahI have done my due diligence, followed up when people just decide to not respond and drop the ball, and communicated my situation very clearlyI AM AT MY WIT'S END AND BEYOND FRUSTRATEDTranslate Desired Settlement / Outcome Desired Settlement: select Desired Outcome: I want my late fees removed and my private loan accounts brought currentIt would also be nice if your reps were knowledgeable, polite, and helpful and that a call to customer service didn't involve 20+ minutes of hold time

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I did not receive letter that they claimed was sent on May 01, I was told by Ms [redacted] that they would honor contract made with FMS and would put it in writing and send to meAs of May 09, I have not received it

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Ms [redacted] called me and asked a few questions with minimum verbal response from her, she stated she was not aware of my address change although I informed them of an address and phone number change Ms [redacted] was able to call me on the correct number but stated she did not have any record of my address changeIf she was able to determine that the address change was not made by her company resulting in miscommunication she would be able to remove the negative credit reportingI received a letter in the mail today stating that she was not able to find any documentation with me notifying Navient of my address change therefore the negative credit report would not be removedFurthermore as stated in the letter Navient allows both primary borrower and cosigner to revised and or change the payment plan without consent to each person made on the original loan agreementI do not agree with this, if a legal agreement is made between three parties, one of the parties should not be able to change that agreement without the consent of all parties in the agreementThis is a violation of the initial contractA cosigner was needed to obtain this loan how is possible for the primary borrower to make changes to the loan without the cosigners approvalFurthermore is Navient in agreement with allowing changes in the payment plan if it is profitable for their companywhich adversely affects the person who is not in agreement with this loan changesThe agreement with the loan is a legal document and I feel this is an illegal authorization and abuse of my credit towards Navient's financial gains Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe business continues its trend of dishonesty and broken promisesIn addition, my inquiry with my bank proved that the supposed communication by Navient is not truthfulNor has the referenced bank account ever been closedThe document(s) supposedly sent by Navient via US mail has not been received in a timely manner nor is it expectedThis dishonest organization is under nationwide criticism of many other loan recipients as is the case with my complaint about this companyThis company has made no attempt to correct their malicious conduct in this matter and has not called or mail the documents the company claims to have mailedFurthermore, any such documents would not do anything to reverse any damage to my credit profile already doneAdditionally, the company has not posted a mailed on 11/11/payment that would bring my account current per their malicious conductThe company has followed their trend of dishonesty by offering me a payment option spanning years for an account balance that is nearly paid offPlease post this complaint as unresolved Regards,

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Considering a loan institution would allow someone to fraudulently obtain a loan in my name and also refuse to remove my name from that loan, even when told about the fraud. I can not accept any resolution that does not result with my name being removed from a fraudulent loan. Regards,
