Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Problem: I called to reapply for the Rate Reduction Program today at the phone number [redacted] I first spoke with a woman named ***, who transferred me to her supervisor, [redacted] , who eventually transferred me to a man named JoshBetween these three people, I was not able to reach a monthly payment amount that I can affordLast year when I went through this process, the person I spoke to wanted to raise my interest rate from 1% to 3% despite my cosigner and me struggling to make ends meet at the 1% interest rateThis person suggested I find ways to cut back on monthly expenses such as on foodI asked him if it is a company policy of Navient’s to suggest its customers go hungry in order to pay back their debtHe said noWe eventually negotiated to a 2% interest rate which was still above what my cosigner and I could afford on a monthly basisIn the past year, to make ends meet, I did actually have to skip meals to make this monthly paymentIn the last twelve months I have lost pounds due to lack of foodFor my age and height, I am now considered underweightThis year, Josh made a number of offensive and absurd suggestions to get me to pay the new amount: -He suggested I look for a second jobI currently work more than hours a week just to maintain the job I have nowIn this economy, it is not unusual for employees to work well beyond the typical hour work week to keep their jobIf I were to get a second job it would be for the one day a week I have off and would replace the time I currently use to cook all of my own meals for the weekThe amount I would have to spend on food to eat out each meal would be more than the additional income from a second job-He suggested I try to refinance this debt with another companyNo company in the world would take on this amount of debt with my current circumstancesIf I cannot afford the payment to Navient, why would another company take on the debt? -He suggested I apply for government assistanceThe idea that Josh would suggest this moments after I give my financial information is ridiculousI am not eligible for government assistance because I make too much money-He suggested I call my landlord and request that my rent is reducedI live in New York CityI would be evicted in an instant if I do not make my rent payment in fullIf I have to choose between being evicted and living on the streets and eventually losing my job because of it or defaulting on my student loans, I think the choice is clearI did not mention to Josh that prior to getting approved for the apartment I am in now, I was actually homeless for monthsI spent over a thousand dollars applying to apartment after apartmentI was declined for all because of my student loan debtAre these company policies of Navient? To ask their customers to work seven days a week? To ask their customers to take from the government to pay for their loans? To ask their customers to risk being evicted? I am, for all intents and purposes, an indentured servant to NavientI will remain an indentured servant for the next 25+ yearsI do not go out anymore, I do not socialize, I do not buy clothes, I do not go on vacation; I do not do anythingI live to pay off these loansI work, I come home, I sit alone, I go to bed, and I get up and do it againI am also in more debt than I was last yearTo make ends meet I had to lean on credit cards to get byAlong with this additional debt is an additional monthly payment that I cannot affordMy Federal Student Loans, which totaled roughly $100,when I graduated from college, have increased to roughly $112,todayThe reason for this is my monthly payment to Navient is so high that I cannot even pay the minimum monthly payment to my Federal Loans to break even each month on the interest that accruesEach month as I slowly pay down my Navient Debt, my other debts slowly increase at about the same rateDespite these circumstances, today when I reapplied for the Rate Reduction Program, I was told that my interest rate and payment amount would have to increase again anywayMy cosigner and I reiterated our financial circumstances and the fact that we are not making ends meet at our current interest rate, but the Navient employees we spoke to just repeated the same statement over and over like a broken recordThe two options I was left with at the end of the call were to accept a 2.5% interest rate for the next twelve months (which would increase my monthly payment) or to accept a 2.5% interest rate for the next twelve months and have the length of my loan extended by a few years (which would keep my payment the same as it is today)Neither of these options are a sustainable solution for the predicament I am inI cannot afford my current payment as it stands today, so neither of these options are realisticI also cannot extend my payment out by a number of years to get by for the next months knowing that next year Navient will raise my interest rate again and I will again not be able to afford the paymentI am on the verge of defaulting because I cannot afford my paymentI do not see any point in extending the terms of my loan just so that I don’t default for another couple yearsThis is not a sustainable solution! Translate Desired Resolution / Outcome Desired Resolution: Billing Adjustment select Desired Outcome: I want to make it clear that I have every intention of paying my debt in full, but I cannot make the payment that was offered to me todayThe stress of going through this process every year is placing such a heavy psychological burden on me that I am getting illI need a permanent and sustainable payment that I can affordI propose a payment of $a month for the remainder of my loan termThis issue needs to be resolved by the end of May when my payment will increase to the full amountPlease expedite this processTranslate

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Problem: [redacted] is former Revdex.com complaint numberI have over $owed to Navient on my credit reportThis has been paid off almost two years agoI can not get anybody to answer the phone when I callThe contact person called me once and I couldn't not answer since I was at workI have called her several times with no luckToday I looked at my credit report and it says I still owePlease help! What is taking so long? I have paid almost $I have the bank statement from when it was paid and who it was paid toTranslate Desired Resolution / Outcome Desired Resolution: Correction to a credit report select Desired Outcome: I NEED this corrected to my credit report ASAPThis was paid off coming on two years agoIt is still on my credit report and it is hindering me from doing anything! Please take it off!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] Navient was able to locate the funds within only a few days of logging the complaint with you where as the prior weeks no one could help meThe funds were identified to have been applied to the wrong account after a manual searchThis is a very reasonable mistake that I can fully understand however the customer service received from the standard channels was simply inadequateI am very glad that there is an organization that is dedicated to ensuring consumer rights and has enough influence to push past the customer service stall tactics and obtain a real resolutionI do not believe that this would have been resolved in a timely manor otherwiseThank you for the support! Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below My Equifax credit score dropped points this weekend because the account from Navient was totally removedYet Transunion was updated with the current student loan amount and my credit score went up pointsThis means that this updates are recent from submitting the informationPlease contact Equifax and see what is going Regards,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I received a letter from Navient on November 29,Upon review of the letter,I noticed that the agreed upon amount to be paid by auto-pay on the 19th of every month was incorrectIt stated that $would be deducted from my account on December 4,I had specifically set the payment of $up on the 19th of every month, as that is when I will have money in my accountIt gave me the name, number, and extension of someone from the customer advocacy board whom I could reach directlyWhen I called the number, however, it sent me to a direct representative line and did not give me the ability to enter the extension of the contact personThe first person I spoke to told me she could put in a request to change my due date, but that it would not take effect until January of and that the payment of $will come out on the 4th of December, She could not tell me where the balance of $came from, as she did not have that amount in her systemWhen I explained my situation and the payment agreement for the 19th of every month, she directed me to someone elseIn all, my phone call lasted one hour and minutesThe fourth, and final, person I was transferred to stated he was with the billing department and could not request a change in my due date, and he would have to transfer me back to customer serviceI was told if I cancelled the auto-payment, that the balance that was brought current on 11/19/by a payment of $would be retracted back to the months of payments that Navient is saying I was notified of and that I would have a balance due of several hundred dollarsYet again, another bullying tactic used by NavientApparently the payment agreement I arranged for the 19th of every month was only for November and Navient had the right to move my due dateDue to my financial situation, had I been aware of this I would have set it for the 19th of every month, assuming that's what I had done when I made the agreement on November 8thI was given the option to leave a message for the person assigned to my case, but declined and instead opted to try and reach her tomorrowThis is extremely tiring as I had just gone in circles with different people for over an hour, each who told me something differentIn addition to the inaccuracy of the amount and due date, the letter stated that my main complaint was repeated phone callsThat is also incorrectThe initial complaint was due to horrific customer service that I experienced over a period of weeksNavient stated that the automated calls would stop once contact was made for the day, but that is not trueI answered the phone calls from Navient several times a dayEvery time I pressed to speak to a representative, and every time the phone disconnectedThe experience I had with a representative on November 8th was the reason for my complaint, not the phone calls, although those were an annoyance as wellThere is no other word to describe my overall experience with Navient other than horrificTheir attempt at a response was just another let down from a company who uses bullying tactics to get over-paymentsAlso, when I attempted to call today the automated system stated I had a balance of $due on Dec1,No one could explain that amount to me eitherI am so exhausted from going round and round with this company Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [redacted] Problem: Billing/ Collection Issues Customer Service Issues I would like to supply the Revdex.com with a copy of a letter I am sending to the Navient: Office of the Customer AdvocateThis is my third Revdex.com complaint, the first of which I was told my income was being evaluated for lower payments and Navient neglected to contact me or my cosigner after saying they wouldThis led my account to a delinquent stateIt was negligent to say they would return my call and contact my cosigner if that was never their intentionThe second complaint had to do with a similar issue in which I was told that I was approved for a payment plan via phone and supplied my card information for automatic drafts but later received a letter saying I was denied and that they would use my card to take out the original payment every monthI called back and the woman said that my payment plan was cancelled "accidentally" and she proceed to put me on the payment plan AGAINI received yet another letter saying I was deniedThe miscommunication is manipulative and I believe Navient's goal was to get my card information for paymentsFrom the beginning they have been a hassleI am not the type of person to run away from paymentsFrom the moment my loans entered repayment, I expressed my inability to pay with NavientNavient has since then neglected my case and ignored my needs in order to send my account into delinquency and now they have manipulated me to receive my card information and I thought I was being enrolled into a payment plan! I am now contacting Revdex.com because Navient has committed FraudNavient called me on 11/30/from (302)261-and left a voicemail stating that they were [redacted] and that my prescription was ready! I am not currently taking any prescriptions and the [redacted] location stated in the voicemail is in Delaware! I live in MarylandThis same day, 11/30/Navient called me from the same Delaware number (302)261-times in one day! That is harassment! I have all of the call logs and the voicemailI called the number back to make sure it was not actually Wal I would like to file a lawsuit against Navient for harassment and fraudTranslate Desired Resolution / Outcome Desired Resolution: Other (requires explanation) select Desired Outcome: I would like to publicly post this in hopes that a lawyer picks up this caseI would like to be reentered into the payment plan that I was approved for TWICEI would like Navient to call once a day and leave a voicemail and allow me to return their call when I am not at workI would like Navient to give me an explanation for the [redacted] voicemailI would like Navient to apologize for this treacherous experienceI would like Navient to agree to a settlement
