complaint ID [redacted].  They elected to refund two months of membership fees.  This refund has been reflected in my bank account as of 7 Oct 2015.  I find this resolution acceptable in my particular case and consider the issue closed.  I recommend to the business that they should review their cancellation policies and employee training.  An online self-serve cancellation method would provide an auditable record and receipt of cancellation, and would remove the possibility of human error on the part of local employees.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. 24 hours fitness did not offer any resolution to this issue, they only stated that they are checking on the agreement and will follow up on it. This is the same response I have been getting since the beginning of March 2016.  I was originally told it was going to take 2 weeks to receive the claimed signed agreements by mail and via email. It has been 2 months and I have not received the agreements nor have they resolved this matter. I have been very patient and have high hopes to resolve this issue soon. Regards,[redacted]

The manager sent me an email which was a bit insulting. He stated that my some of my...

claims were false. For example, the treadmills that I stated in the complaint, he said that there is only 1 broken. If he really paced the floor as he said he did, he would know 2 treadmilla are broken and a third does not function correctly. Then he processed to tell me that the gym has 23 newer treadmills.
I explained I can not use those tredmillds because of my back condition. Yet I find it disturbing that you get 23 crappy tredmill, new back equioment, new elipticas and the tredmill I want fixed has been broken for over a year and another now broken for iver 2 minths? Secondly, he says the press machin13 was fixed.  Yes bit that is because they received the complaint. The manager stated that he was going be available from Monday to Friday and we attempted calling and was not there.

complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.A 24 Hour Fitness Rep called to tell me they understood why I would be upset, given I was sold a membership w/ specific terms, only to have it reneged after several years.  She stated their corporate office has made their decision on all rate increases, and nothing could be done to change it.  24 Hour Fitness pulled the textbook bait-and-switch on me, and it appears through what I've read online, there are thousands of other members who fell victim to their unfair business practices as well.Regards,[redacted]
