Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted] The reinstatement of my contract was done as no fault of mine payment was sent on the old contract and the last payment they made me provide a copy of the check They had never cashed the check initially they told me they couldn't renew my contract because I didn't pay I had to provide the documentation (copy of check)stating that I did pay and they had lost it subsequently they renewed my contract I never wanted to sign a new contract that was never my intention I have never been late on any of my bills or any of my obligations

[ I spoke to a woman from the corporate office.  She was very polite and apologized.  However, I am not satisfied with the response of the business because she informed me there is nothing she can do and the yearly dues for my mother are $79 and they will not be reduced.  This is unacceptable and I am not satisfied.]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.After leaving voicemails back and forth, I was finally able to reach [redacted] on March 9.  She informed me that they would not honor what their representative said to us when they sold us the membership, and would not reduce our annual dues from the $199 to the $99 that was promised.  She explained that they have not reduced fees for anyone, which seems to be contrary to what has been described in some of the other Revdex.com complaints against 24 Hour.  She also told me that my only options were to simply pay the increased fees, cancel my membership or to seek legal action.  None of those options live up to what was promised to us when we paid a large upfront fee.  Thus, my complaint remains unresolved.Regards,[redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I received ONE call/voicemail from [redacted], the manager at the [redacted] Super Sport (the day before I received the Revdex.com email).  He did not leave a number to call back.  I called the next day (getting the number off the internet).  When I spoke to him he said he was not calling regarding the Revdex.com complaint.  He said he was "just calling to check in".  He asked if I tried the gym and if I've decided to pay to upgrade my membership.  
I told him I am not interested in paying for an upgrade when I know my brother-in-law and sister were able to upgrade for free.  I told him I want my money back for this year's membership (since  I have not been able to use the  gym with my sister and brother-in-law, whom I always work out with).  (My membership payment was due the beginning of January, after this dispute began.). He said he didn't think he could do anything about that but he would look into it.  He said he would call me back, possibly that night, with information or an update.  That was two days ago and I still have not heard back. 
I spoke to [redacted] before this interaction (a few weeks before). He told me that he could do nothing to help me.  I've been told from two different customer service representatives that the club manager could grant me access.  [redacted] has said several times that is it not true. Basically customer service points their finger to the club and the club points the finger at customer service.  No one will take responsibility and both parties claim they cannot do anything but the other facet of the company can.  I have no confidence that anyone at 24 Hour Fitness cares that I have been a member for over 15 years and have been treated unfairly.  I also have no confidence that they will do anything to remedy the situation.
