I am rejecting this response because:
This offers no resolution to the issue of this companies shady business practices and does nothing to hold the business accountableThis response is only a way for the company to brush their questionable interest charges under the rug so they can continue to rip off thousands of student loan borrowersI as a borrower should not be required to pay years worth of interest before any payment is applied to principalThe interest keeps adding up and since the company only applies payments to interest, this loan will never be possible to pay offThe balance continues to grow even with payments being madeSomething is very wrong with this and it needs to be addressed.

I am rejecting this response because you once again changed my interest rate and rose itAfter waiting for a couple weeks, I ended up having to take time out of my week to readjust my monthly paymentsAccording to this letter that was sent this morning, you once again changed my payment and rose my interest rateTo make matters more confusing, I went on line to check my monthly status and see that you changed it on line to be more than $that I wanted taken out each month (this was about $more than the monthly payment)I also noticed you changed my payment date to the 14thI changed it to the 15th last month and now you changed it backI have attached the letter which is a major point of frustrationI thought this was fixed after several different emails and one phone call in addition to attempts to go on-line and fix this myself In short, I want $ (or close to this) taken out each month on the 15thMy interest rate is supposed to be 4.5% fixedYou increased this for no reason at all and that violates the original agreementPlease move it back to 4.5%

July 16, 2015Dear *** ***:This letter is in response to your inquiry AES received from the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) regarding the status of your educational loan account serviced by our officeWe trust the following information will be of assistance.AES services and owns the subsidized
(SUBCNS) and unsubsidized (UNCNS) segments of your federal Consolidation Loan disbursed April 5, As the third-party service provider, AES administers the loan in accordance with the terms of the signed promissory note and federal regulationsAES is required to perform billing, credit reporting, and other servicing-related activitiesBy signing the promissory note, you are responsible for timely repayment of the entire debt, including all accrued interest, the entire principal balance, and any applicable fees in accordance with the signed promissory note.We understand from your recent inquiry to the Revdex.com that your Income-Based Repayment (IBR) plan (an option on the Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) application) expired in June You expected to be approved for a forbearance to cover any and all past due amounts at the time that you applied to renew your IBR application in mid June However, AES never applied the forbearance to your accountAs a result, you accrued late fees and a past-due balance for $We also understand from your inquiry that you contacted our office on June 25, 2015, and expressed a complaintAt that time, you were advised you that an Administrative Forbearance would be applied by July 6th, 2015, but it was notYou also stated that AES would not grant you forbearance because your IDR application was not submitted within days prior to the end of your previous IDR plan, which was not disclosed to you in any AES communication over the past five months.Based on our review, on May 31, 2015, an e-bill was sent to you due for $on June 20, Subsequently, your Student Loan Debt Burden (SLDB) Forbearance ended on June 1, and a Capitalized Interest letter was mailed to you on June 3, On June 8, 2015, AES received your IDR applicationIt was approved on June 19, 2015, with the IBR plan beginning July 20, for $An approval letter was mailed to you the next daySince the June payment was not received, AES mailed a delinquency letter to you on July 6, 2015, copies of all the letters are enclosedAs a result, you were fully aware of the status of the account.In addition, on June 25, 2015, AES received your email which stated that you requested a change in your loan repayment status and you were told the loan was past dueYou also stated that you could not afford nearly $and to grant you a two months forbearanceAt that time, a request was submitted to review your most recent IDR applicationBased on the review, your Partial Financial Hardship (PFH) payment increasedAs a result, you were not eligible for the Administrative ForbearanceIn addition, on July 7, 2015, AES received your Temporary Hardship Forbearance request via AES websiteSince you have previously utilized all the allotted time available of the forbearance, that request was also denied and cannot be used to cover the installment due for June 20, 2015.At this time, the account reflects in arrears from June 20, due for $(with $assessed in late fees)Another installment of $will be due on July 20, 2015, for a combined total of $due at that time.If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service Department toll-free at ###-###-####Loan counselors are available Monday through Friday from 7:a.mto 9:p.m., ET.Sincerely,Shelly B.Vice President, Loan Operations
