To Whom It May Concern,
This customers contract is not for "50" months, it is for 60 months.  
We do apologize for any inconvenience the consumer is having in her personal life, but that does not release the customer from the contractual obligation. We would be more than willing to send a tech at no charge to do a full retraining of the alarm system for anyone in the home. That way the customer can take advantage of the security system in the home. 
We are unable to release the customer early as the contract as almost two years left on the account.

Very happy with them.......quick response, regular billing, no issues. They even customized my settings for me. Very pleasant when contacting them!

I am rejecting this response because: they were willing to help me when if I was going to pay them over $500 and resign with them. Further proof of their unethical and incompetent business practices.

The customer rejected the offer, then accepted it in the body. 
With that said, we are pleased the customer expressed that they accept our resolution. We will be reaching out to the client to schedule a date to service the customer and waiving the late fees on the account.

I am rejecting this response because: I e mailed comany 7-1 to cancell account also my husband e mailed company on 7-5 to cancell account no reply from company.  I have also left a message with account manager greg on 7-5 no reply. I just want my account cancelled.

In August 2013, our monitoring system became damaged and we called for customer service to make a repair ... at our expense. Safe Home Security could not recommend or send anyone to our home as they were not able to service our home. After 60 days, we wrote to them to cancel our monitoring service due to their inability to fix our problem. We then called another monitoring company and had their tech person make the repair and then signed up for their monitoring program. Since that time, we have written letters, had our attorney write a letter documenting the issues we had with Safe Home. We are continuing to receive billing statements and collection calls from SHS, as they will not accept being cancelled for any cause. We sent a check for $500, marked payment in full, which they cashed, but did not accept as Pmt in Full. They are reporting us to the credit bureau. The collection calls just keep coming.

This company has horrible business practices. They have refused to cancel my account for several reasons for 3 years. First I called to cancel and they said my policy didn't renew until May. Then in May I called to cancel and they said they needed a written request but since my policy automatically renewed I was stuck for another year. The following year I sent a written request and was told it was not received 30 days before renewal so it renewed again. The 3rd year and now they tell me I have to request written cancellation 60 days before renewal. Now I'm stuck for another year paying for overpriced outdated home security equipment and service.

The [redacted] first contacted Safe Home Security to cancel their service on September 22nd, 2015. They had stated they did not want to move the service to their new home in Oregon. At that point they were instructed to follow the cancellation protocol in their...

contract by sending proof of sale of home as well as a cancellation letter. No written correspondence was ever received by Safe Home Security. 
During the time in between September 22nd, 2015 and March 14th, 2016 Safe Home Security's Customer Service attempted to contact the [redacted] Residence regarding upgrading their system, [redacted]ving messages on the [redacted]'s answering machine. Those call's were never returned. 
On March 14th, 2016 Safe Home Security received a phone call from the [redacted] Residence regarding the cancellation of their account. The representative informed the [redacted]'s in order to cancel their account we would require a cancellation letter and proof of Sale of Home. They [redacted]'s finally sent a cancellation letter on March 21st, 2016. The letter did not include proof of Sale of Home. At that point they were informed by a representative that the account was in an automatic renewal period and in order to cancel the account we would need something showing they have sold their home. The customer has since made this complaint, demanding refund of services. 
Per the attached monitoring agreement, all customer's must send a cancellation letter in order to cancel their service 60 days prior to the expiration date. Safe Home Security will be closing the [redacted]'s account on April 30th, 2016 per their request. At this time there is no refund due unless the [redacted]'s can provide time stamped correspondence from September of 2015 showing they provided proof of sale and attempted to cancel their service on that date.

Probably need to talk with them because they didn't cancel it out. We did what

I am rejecting this response because:
Your response is unacceptable I should not be charged to have my alarm system unlocked, and once again your firm will be the target of legal action. I am filing complaints with the state and federal attorneys and looking to see if a class action suite is also a possibility as this is criminal behavior. Perhaps a class action suite will expose the dirty tricks played by some alarm companies. The money is not the main issue here the principal is more important but I do expect to collect damages. I am also contacting the local news media to have their on air attorney explore this issue and make sure others do not patronize companies with no integrity.

Client is responsible for contract through August 2017.  Disabling monitoring and going to another company does not alleviate the responsibility.  Client must pay buyout on account.  Please contact our collections department to assist in an arrangement.

messages and they never call back. They owe me approximately $450. I can provide bank statements with proof of exactly how much they are supposed to refund me if need be.

The customer can disregard the bill he has received from Safe Home Security...

as it is not owed. [redacted] account is closed in full, and no balance is due. No negative markings will be placed on [redacted] credit report. His report should show closed in full.

The account was turned over to a third party debt collector in 2015.  Client must go through [redacted] to resolve.

I brought home security about 8 years ago from silverline security. My contract was for 5 years.This company took over silverline business and says I have a contract with them until 7/19/17. The new company I with help wrote the witter to them to cancel and now wants another letter after 7/19/17 to cancel. I tried to call them for 1 hr I stay on the phone for a customer care person and nothing. feel like Im getting rob. because they taking money from my bank and I do not have services with them.
