Sentry Insurance a Mutual Company

Review: Sentry Dairyland auto client driver ran into my car. Dairyland auto has been rude, unprofessional and unwilling to take full responsibility for their client. Claiming that because I was driving the my car on a public road then I am partially at fault. Dairyland auto driver (client) was ticketed and admitted fault on site.

Took 2 weeks for their adjuster to go by to get estimate on fixing my car, didn't look at damage under car and just took a picture of visual damage and said they would only pay (starting out) 60%, after arguing with adjuster they have gone to paying for 90%. This is still unacceptable since their driver was totally at fault and was even ticketed for his actions. At first was even refusing to pay for no more then 3 days of rental vehicle, again, not my fault that their driver was not paying attention to where he was driving and ran over us! Finally did pay for most of rental vehicle, however, leaving me with 10% again to pay. Again, unfair and unacceptable!

Sentry/Dairyland Auto has short payment on towing charges, repairs to my vehicle, and rental vehicle. This accident was no fault of mine and they need to pay for all damages.

As for my passenger that was injured in this accident, we have not heard of any payment towards medical care for her as of yet. Has been 3 weeks now and she is still in extreme pain. No contact with her has been made by Sentry/Dairyland Auto. I have paid out of pocket for some of the medical visits as well.

Further more, auto repair shop was treated bad and rude by Sentry adjuster and repairman was hung up on rudely when trying to communicate with Sentry. This is just totally unprofessional and rude of this insurance company.Desired Settlement: Refund for shortage on repairs to my vehicle, shortage on towing charges, shortage on rental vehicle and medical paid out of pocket as of this date. All medical paid to myself and passenger of my vehicle due to their drivers negligence. An apology to [redacted] at the repair shop where my car was fixed and to myself for their unprofessional behavior and rudeness.

All medical payments in future need to be paid in full by this insurance company.

New Mexico is a Diminished Value State and asking for DV adjustment be paid at this time.
