I had a nice call from a lady saying seterus would not phione me unless my account was overdue - i.e. past the 16th of the month HOWEVER I received 2 calls today (not overdue) on both calls I answered there was no one on the other end. One of the calls even directed me to stay on the line because it was an important call!! but no one answered.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I sent an attachment with what SETERUs sent me. Where is my request for payments? I have not received my request for all bills and payments since the loan has been opened. NYS law requires service provider to send me this information upon request with no fee within 60 days. If I do not receive this information I will file a criminal suit against Seterus and eventually a civil suit. I can't believe it's come this far when all I'm asking for is an amortization of my loan from its inception. The Revdex.com has documentation of these requests which will be used in court against Seterus as evidence. I will follow up with my lawyer if I do not receive what I am asking for.Sincerely,[redacted]

The business responded but asked that we not post its response

Seterus, Inc has returned my duplicate mortgage payment.  This complaint should still stand as the complaint is in reference to their complete lack of customer service and a complete disregard for their customers.  It took over 12 hours on the phone.  They did not, at any time, offer solutions of their own, they were NEVER proactive, NEVER helpful.  No employee can give out their extension-you must call the main number and ALWAYS are on hold at least 15 minutes before speaking with someone.  When you give the operator the extension of the person you want they will not transfer you, you must go thru the whole conversation again and they are all very well trained on their procedures as that is the only thing they will tell you... they will reiterate, over and over and over again what THEIR procedures are with no intention of helping.
 
In this day and age, why on Earth they could not look at their own records and determine that I had indeed made two payments.  Instead they require Bank of America to tell them that we were not requesting a refund due to lack of funds in my account, that the refund was being requested because two payments had been sent.  WHY ON EARTH CAN THEY NOT LOOK AT THEIR OWN SYSTEMS?! The initial duplicate payment was my doing, it was an accident, it was not a bank error yet I couldnt deal with Seterus myself, I had to have the bank write letters (4 times) on my behalf.  Absolutely ridiculous.  This company seems entirely incompetent and unconcerned by that.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
My escrow account was debited for $2119.61 on 05/01/2015 to Will County. This amount was incorrect.  I requested via phone 05/04/2015 that this be corrected. I then faxed the actual tax bill to Seterus on 05/05/2015.  I never received a response as to the outcome of their investigation.  On 05/18/2015 my escrow was debited for the correct amount of $2152.25 to Will County.  There is no record accessible to me that shows the original amount being deposited back into my escrow account.  The second installment property tax is due 09/03/2015 for $2152.25 and Seterus shows that it will send out on 08/01/2015, a month earlier than expected.  They also have a upcoming debit for $2152.25 for 05/01/2016, which is inaccurate since the amount of the taxes due isn't available until 05/2016 and due 06/2016.  Seterus also does not show any past tax and insurance payouts from my escrow account.  Conveniently, I caught the error in May prior to my statement being issued, so they do not show the questioned debit on a statement.  I feel that I am owed a true and accurate transaction record of my escrow account, including all credits and debits.  Seterus also did not address the fact that they failed to make PMI payments from my escrow account for several months and had to do a large catch-up distribution to fix it.
Their response to me that you were not copied on did not address any of their constant shortcomings and only referenced that taxes paid on 05/18/2015 were accurate (nothing about the earlier payment in error and its status) and that on 05/29/2015 they accurately paid my PMI (again not mentioning the errors of previous months).
If it were possible without going through yet another refinance, I would have fired Seterus after the first two months that I was forced to be a customer of theirs.  Every time you try to communicate with them they force you to call their toll free number and speak to a representative who was no information and cannot provide any help.
I am attaching a copy of their response letter that was not sent to you for your reference. As you will see on their letter, if I have questions regrading their letter, I should call their toll free customer service line.
I will consider this resolved when I get answers to all my concerns and have full real-time access to my information through the Seterus website as should be provided by a lender.Sincerely,[redacted]
