This is an ongoing complaint related to a past due amount Seterus is claiming I owe. When I originally filed the complaint I was given a different response to the same issue that I have now received. I am being told that my June 1,2016 payment installment was not satisfied until July 6, 2016. This is not the case. I had made 2 payment installments for the month of May. I had the bank reverse one of the duplicate payments yet Seterus insists that I've missed a payment. I've sent a letter to them with a copy of my bank transactions that show all the trial payments I've made towards the loan modification. The statement clearly shows the duplicate payment and reversal. Yet, I keep getting collection calls and late fees keep increasing every month.
 I want my account in current status and need to have all the late fees reversed.Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:1.  The Seterus website failed to alert me that NO payment would be automatically made from my account for 45 days.2.  The Seterus website stated that the new payment, with the increase in payment towards principal, would process within the next 45 days. NO WARNING was given that all payments would be stopped.3.  This is a clear issue for the IT Department of SETERUS, Inc. to address.  It is not the actions of the consumer.  I have never been late in paying the mortgage.  My record is clear and I can prove it.4.  Finally, SETERUS never emailed me and never sent a UPS letter to my home.  I did receive, by U.S. mail, a letter stating that the payment was late.  This later arrived the first week of August.  5. My payment was made by phone July 18, 2017 by phone when I discovered that the July payment had not gone through as an EFT.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I faxed a written document from [redacted] dated December 10,  2015 to Seterus stating that $1625.26 was debited from my account, payable to Seterus on 9/16/2015 and as of 12/10/2015 this payment has not been refunded back to my account.  Also, I faxed a copy of the same document to Revdex.com 1/6/2016, Attn: [redacted], fax#206-431-2211, on 1/6/2016.
I called Seterus and they confirmed that they had received the fax and would investigate further. I have called the telephone number on the response letter from Eric K[redacted] repeatedly, left messages and have not received a call back. [redacted] Have called at various times through out the day, only to receive voice mail. I  have been calling his number ever since I received the letter signed by him. All to no avail.

I am rejecting this response because: Seterus has not returned my phone calls regarding the reimbursement of escrow funds (Seterus' escrow handler, Loretta LLC, paid property taxes for my former home after they had already been paid at the closing - so property taxes in the amount of $1,545.08 were paid twice)My town's tax collector returned the property tax payment to Loretta LLC.  I have called Damian G[redacted] (person from Seterus who responded to Revdex.com) twice (Feb 28 and March 1) and he has yet to respond to my request to have the money refunded to me.Although Seterus claims to have requested the 30 day late be removed from my credit report, I have yet to see that this is true.  Upon receipt of a clean credit report and the overpaid property taxes ($1,545.08), I will not be satisfied with Seterus' response.

1. No documents were provided to support Seterus' claim that it is against their policy to share customer information. Without sharing information with the Revdex.com, resolution will be impossible. I am giving my permission to share that information.
2. Despite verbal requests for a hard copy of the August 1, 2016 statement, I have never received it. It is missing from Seterus' site as well. I have gone onto Seterus' site daily to see if it has been posted.That is the statement that will show the information in question, and that might satisfactorily resolve this problem.
3. No written support for the conflicting information I received from Seterus' representatives and managers was provided upon initial request.
4. Seterus should be held responsible for the misinformation I've consistently received beginning on August 25, 2016.Sincerely,[redacted]
