I started a trial on June 1st it was a free 4 week trial. I was charged 69.99 that day and they won't refund it because apparently 1 day equals 4weeks
I have the emails, I started the trial June 1st.
Noticed the charge June 2nd
Called and cancelled June 3rd and emailed billing
Was told I had completed my trial even though my profile said my end date was June 29th, I corrected the staff member and was told that I was correct but billing still refuses to refund my account.
I sent them a picture of the charges too to show it was an accidental charge on their part.
Desired Outcome
I would like a refund and they should get in some kind of trouble seeing as I'm not only one this has happened to.

They claim that a refund is not "convenient" for them, thus the won't issue it.
First here is their own words in a copy pasted email they sent to me as a reply twice:
"I have checked with our finance team for a possible refund; however, the refund is not at all convenient."
The Shaw Academy advertises that they have a free trial for continuing education. I enrolled. Once signed up I could see that the style of classes was most likely not for me.
One of the constant popups that reloads everytime you go to a new page is an offer for one of their course ecertificates with no additional information. If you click on it to read more it instantly your charges card $39.95 for the certificate and provides you with no further explanation.
I immediately "unrolled" - I have an email confirming my uninrollment. Then messaged their team to request a refund for the I wanted certificate.
Their response is an auto generated offer stating that it isn't convenient for them to refund so instead they will give me 3 months of classes and ECERTIFICATES for free.
They then charged my card a second time. When emailed about that the second charge is now gone but they still sent the same auto response about how a refund isnt what they feel like doing.
I am appalled by this whole situation. And I truly hope no one else falls pray to their flytrap schemes.
Desired Outcome
Refund the money for the ecertificate. Remove the one click buys from your ads and provide more information on your site.

This company has charged me twice for a service I have never requested.
Somehow this company got ahold of my personal information and have been charging my credit card (69.99$/month). I have tried calling Shaw Academy but any option chosen sends you to an automated message about the lines being closed. I have sent e-mails to this company without any follow up. I have disputed the charges with my credit company (PC Financial) for the past two months and yet I was just charged today another 69.99$
Two months ago I was receiving phone calls at 10pm stated I missed a class, I brushed it off as scam calls. Until the first charge showed up. I have not been able to resolve anything in this situation and I am extremely unhappy. I found a « cancel your membership phone number » and called. I wad given the run around, each option gives you another message asking how sure you are to cancel. In the end it says the membership is canceled yet the automated system never asked for ANY personal information. And I had blocked my number so it's basically one big scam...
Desired Outcome
All I am asking is for my money to be refunded and my personal information to be deleted from their systems.

When I received the response, I did as their message said. I sent an e-mail with the information they asked for. This e-mail from me was sent on Tuesday June 9th at 12:24 pm. An automated reply was then received. " Your query has been received and has been given the unique ID number #XXXXXXX. One of our support staff will be in touch with you to address your issue within approximately 48 hours however we will do our best to come back sooner. We assure you this will not adversely impact your request in any way." I still have not heard back from this company.

Hi ***,
My apologies for the experience you have had thus far. I have reviewed your account and would like to confirm our support team have already processed your refund which will be credited back to the source within the next 3-5 business days.
I clicked on a link about certification, where there was no mention of price, then I was charged for this and have been told that it can't be refunded
I signed up for a free trial with Shaw Academy on 03/06/20. I entered the website and saw a link about certification for the course. There was no mention of a price attached to this. I clicked on the link and a note appeared about a 'payment'. I checked my PayPal account and £39.99 had been taken.
I immediately tried to contact via an online form. Then I read reviews online and realised that I may have been scammed. I went back on to try to cancel my subscription to make sure no further monies were taken from my PayPal. I was given a number to call. I called the number where they offered various other services to resume the subscription. I told them that all I want is to cancel the service that I signed up to 20 minutes or so ago and I want the money that was taken from my account without my approval refunded. They agreed to cancel my subscription and gave me an email address to contact re the refund.
I emailed them, they replied with an offer of more services but refused to refund. I emailed back, again explaining that I had no idea they were going to charge me as there was no price connected to the link about certification but I have yet to hear back from them.
I cancelled the authorisation via my PayPal and tried to dispute the amount taken via PayPal but as I had allowed authorisation (this was for payments to be taken after the free trial), PayPal would not allow the dispute.
I have contacted them again today 05/06/20 to let them know that I am taking up this matter with yourselves
Please can you help. I am a healthcare worker and am currently out of work because of the COVID19 pandemic, I do not have the funds to pay for this and I would never have chosen to click on this had I known there was a charge attached.
Desired Outcome
I would like the money that they took from my PayPal account without my authorisation (i.e. they had not informed me of a price) refunded in full
Automatic customer service system deactivated my account after me asking about family subscription. Customer service ignores me
I've purchased 6 months subscription which allows me to add up to 3 family members for them to study while subscription lasts. when I tried to add my sister, she didnt get the activation link. So I emailed customer support asking how to solve that issue and they replied to me by automatically generated letter which said that they deactived my account and they can not refund me the money. But I have never asked for any refund and surely I didnt want to deactivate my new account. So when I replied I only got automatically generated answer by the system which in any way were relevant to my problem. There are no alive people there. They charged me money, promiced to give free tool kit and free hard copy diploma, give me family plan. They have never given it and when I dared to ask they just cancelled my account!!!! I tried contacted them in different ways and platforms but they just kept ignoring all my messages.
An now to get my subscription back they are asking for new payment!!!!
Desired Outcome
I want my subscription back, free hard copy of diploma which i was promiced in the ad when paying for my plan, family members added and being able to do theie studies as well

Dear Shaw Academy, unfortunately I know your tricks too well already - send us an email and we will continue answering your question with irrelevant automatically generated letters. I have made it clear that I do not need a refund but I want my 6 months subscription and membership which I bought in may 2020 to be reactivated because its your team who has blocked it. I also insist on having an option to add up to 3 family members who can join their studies through my subscriptions - I had this option until the moment you cancelled my subscription. I deny any communication through your emails because you never respond in satisfactory way. get things settled, report about it here and I will close the case. end of story

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Dear Shaw Academy,
It is first time in my life when I face a customer service who it seems to me was trained to ignore questions from their customers. So I will repeat from the very beginning:
I have registered for 4 weeks free trial
Before 4 weeks were completed I have paid 6 month Greater Convenience package
Right after I paid rm299,94 I have got access to my account where there was an option to add up to 3 family members. So I have added my sister to the list of those 3 and I was promised by the system that she would get separate email link sent to her email in order to confirm her family member subscription.
This is the message I've got from the Shaw Academy after I added my sisters email to family list: With your current subscription, you can add upto 3 friends/family members to learn for free. Invite has been sent to below email accounts, please contact them for sign-up.
But no invite was sent, so I contacted your genius support team and explained them the same thing mentioned in p1-4. And imagine how surprised I was when I got the below message as a reply from the Shaw academy:
Hi Alyona,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I have personally reviewed your account and found the following details:
- The subscription has been initiated as 4-week free trial.
- It was not cancelled during the trial period, so the payment was processed.
- These terms are stated and accepted before account creation.T&C(https://www.shawacademy.com/terms) please see section 4 and 5.
We are unable to process subscription refunds unfortunately after the trial expiry, as per the terms and conditions.
However, we can confirm your membership is cancelled thus ensuring no further payments will be processed.
We are also providing you with 6-months access*** totally free of charge worth of $399, the least we can do is ensure you benefit from our professional certifications, so we can turn this unfortunate event in to a neutral, if not positive immediately. You will be able to complete the courses you initially joined and many other courses.
So basically your team has cancelled my already paid subscription, told me that I didnt buy anything but my account was automatically charged because I didnt cancel the trial subscription. That is why "we can confirm your membership is cancelled"! And Shaw Acadamy generously granted me 6 months subscription which I already paid for - what a gift!
After My subscription got cancelled - the tab with family members has disappeared and now shaw academy wants to prove me it has never existed and I have never had any right for it.
Isnt it what we call SCAM?
Not to mention the moment when I was buying my plan - I was promised to get free toll kit, hard copy of diplome - none of this has ever happened. Its a shame that having quite decent courses you have ruined your reputation by such attitude and cheating on your customers.
I was paying for subscription because I was promised I could add family members, so my sister could join too, but your organisation made everything possible to fail on all your special deals and promos.

I was charged $69.99 for not canceling my free trail on time. However, this company made it extremely difficult to cancel my membership.
Was charged for a membership after I went through all of the possible ways to cancel my subscription within the time frame specified. I took a 4 week free class in photography from Shaw Academy. My last class was on May 31st. I wanted to cancel my subscription on that day. I pushed several buttons indicating I was cancelling. I was then told I needed to call a number to fully cancel. This number was not available until Monday. I was charged 69.99 the following day. When I called the number on Monday it was an automated call trying to sell me more items. I have since written several emails trying to resolve the issue only to get more automated responses. I followed all of the procedures for cancelling and would like a refund. I would also like my account details permanently deleted.
Desired Outcome
Full refund of unauthorized payment of $69.99.

I wanted to cancel my free trial membership. However, I have no confirmation that cancellation happened, and I want to prevent being charged.
I have seen Shaw Academy's advertisements on Facebook, and my dad sent me a link to join it, so I signed up for it on June 4, 2020. I was under the impression that the courses that were offered were instantly accessible, however the site showed shady tactics to draw in the consumer such as having classes on certain times and charging huge fees with just a click on a button. With this shady behavior I looked up reviews from reddit and trustpilot, and found out that Shaw Academy used shady tactics to get money from their consumers such as making it indistinguishable whether or not you cancelled your account and immediately charging people a $40 amount for their 'premium' account in the middle of their 4 week free trial. So with reading the reviews, I did not want to be apart of Shaw Academy anymore and wanted to terminate my account with them in the same day. The site made me go through several pop-ups in order to 'cancel' however I never got a confirmation whether my account was fully cancelled. On my account it says that I have a premium membership, 4-week plan, and that my membership is still active despite cancelling it. My account number is XXXXX. Furthermore despite Shaw Academy advertising it's 'four week free trial' my Bank of America bank account has had 4 transactions for no reason. With Shaw Academy advertised as a "4 week free-trail" and stating that I would be immediately charged if I did not cancel my membership, I want to terminate my account so that I would not have to deal with paying for something that was advertised as free.
Desired Outcome
The resolution I am seeking is that I want to be removed from any further transactions with them. As I only signed up for the free 4 week trial, and was not expecting to be charged for anything. Also I would like to be refunded my processing fees and would like to cancel any fees from them.

They were supposed to send a reminder before my free trial ended so that I could cancel before I got charged. No reminder and I was charged $69.99.
I went to cancel so that I wouldn't get billed after the free trial and there was a prompt asking if I wanted to wait so that I could use my last 6 or 7 days or whatever, and it asked if I would like a reminder when my free trial was going to end, so sure why not, so I selected yes and didn't give it another thought because they were going to remind me... Well they didn't ever send a reminder and I got charged $69.99. They won't refund it because I agreed to the auto billing when I started my free trial, which yes, but silly me for expecting the company to do what they said they were going to do. They are incredibly difficult to get ahold of but I attempted contact the morning after I was charged through a help form on their website. The customer service representative who responded said they could not refund my money because I agreed when I signed up for the free trial. Well, they said they would send a reminder before my trial ended so I, assuming they would keep to their promise, didn't worry about it.
Desired Outcome
I want my $69.99 refunded.

Thank you, I was contacted by Shaw Academy via my review on Trust Pilot and they have issued my refund.
I was coaxed into a free trial. There is no way to quit. Numerous emails & phone calls, I've reached no one. They continue to bill $69.99/mo.
I was interested in specific content regarding online marketing courses a month ago. The site promised a free trial period - cancel at any time. There IS no way to cancel, so they are continuing to bill me $69.99 / mo. There is a link on their website that goes through a series of high pressure sales messages - 8 screens in all, promising to take you to the cancellation. At the end there is only a phone number, which they do not answer. I have been calling numerous times a week, on hold sometimes for more than half an hour, but there is no response. I've emailed their customer service email, but no response there either.
Desired Outcome
I want the subscription canceled, the information regarding free trials corrected and I want a full refund, since I have been trying to reach them since the beginning and they do not respond as promised.

We have also processed your refund. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.
Improperly labelled 1 click purchases have left me struggling to pay bills as they have taken £80.
I signed up, am looking at the home page. I see a button which says "diploma certificate", I click this and I get a thank you message saying I can download the certificate. I think nothing of it and do the same for a "tool kit". Turns out these buttons are 1 click purchases and they charged me £39.90 for the certificate (no where does it mention price) and then again for the tool kit.
I wouldn't have even know I was charged unless I had checked my bank.
I emailed them to ask for my account to be deleted and to request a refund, they replied and said they can't refund as I have the tool kit ( they didn't mention the certificate). They offered me an additional tool kit and certificate rather than a refund. This may be a kind offer but is unacceptable.
1. The 1 click purchase is completly unnecessary and not best practice at all. I can see I am not the only one to be caught/ tricked by this.
2. I have not downloaded the tool kit, I have not viewed it at all, I request my account be deleted and the refund made.
3. The certificate would not be awarded until the end of the course so this can definitely be cancelled and refunded.
My hours have been significantly cut down due to covid 19 and £79.90 leaving my account is going to cause me significant problems with paying bills. That was essentially all my groceries money.
This just feels so sneaky. I demand a full refund, I do not want the extra tool kits or certificates, I want to be able to eat. Please have some kindness and refund this clearly mistaken purchase.
And please remove the 1 click purchase or at least include a confirmation box, this is insanely bad practice.
I have no intention of continuing any courses, and will cancel the free trial once I am assured a refund is on the way.
I would like to reiterate how much I need that money right now, when it happened and I got the email from you to say you would not refund, I nearly had a break down.
Please do the right thing here.
It was clearly an accidental purchase for both tool kit and certificate, due to single click purchase, little signage, poor communication.
Please do the right thing.
Payment date 03/06/20
Amount two purchases of £39.95
I assume payment was from my card details
Desired Outcome
A full refund of £79.90. Within the next week.
Then close my account completly, ensuring I am not charged at the end of the free trial, like I have read so many other people have.

Calling is the only way to request a refund and I can't get in touch with anyone! Feeling frustrated because I've been trying for over two weeks now.
I'm *** (Student Number XXXXX) and I've been trying to cancel my membership for over two weeks now. Every single time I call music plays, there are no directions given and I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone from the company and my credit card was charged $69.99 on May 24th, 2020. The website says to call and provide your student ID but how can I do so if no one will answer. After so many attempts to get in contact with them, someone finally answered today and says I mostly likely won't get a refund because I didn't cancel before the free trial ended. I've been trying to cancel before the trial ended however, it's not my fault that no one will answer and there are no verbal prompts. Not sure what kind of scam Shaw Academy is running but it's really not nice and is very unethical especially during a time like this. There should be an electronic way to cancel the free trial before you get charged. All I want is a refund and to never be charged again! This is really unprofessional. I've attached a screenshot of what the website tells me to do to cancel. The ticket number the women gave me is XXXXXXX.
Desired Outcome
I would like my credit card to be refunded the full amount of $69.99 and to never be charged and contacted by this company again.

I had my account for less than 2 days after realizing I couldn't actually study at my own pace. Tried to cancel, was told to call a service number to finalize, and do so. I got charged after canceling twice, and was refused a refund both times. I lost over $100 from this. Feels like a scam. Still need my money back
Hi,
I once tried to cancel online and over the phone and my calls and emails were never returned. Then I got charged $60. I asked for a refund, was refused one, and was told they canceled my subscription for me. This month I got charged $60 AGAIN and when I emailed AGAIN asking for a refund I was, once again, refused one. I was told again that my subscription was canceled but I don't trust that because the same thing was said last time. I'm now out $120 for something I am not responsible for and it feels scammy. I know refunds are possible and it's so upsetting to me that I was not given one both times. What's worse is I was offered a "special deal" for free or whatever BOTH TIMES that money was taken from me. I don't know what to do because I really need a refund. That's a lot of money to take from someone.
Desired Outcome
I really need a refund, for both charges and then I'll leave you alone forever.

Shaw Academy charged me $69.99 CAD during DAY ONE of my 4-week trial period without my knowledge, and now refuses to refund me.
On June 1, 2020, I created a 4-week free trial account with Shaw Academy's website (email attached showing date and timestamp of the free trial confirmation, as well as email showing receipt for $1 CAD charged for account registration, with timestamp).
On same day (June 1, 2020), the company, without my knowledge, moved my account to a Premium Membership, and charged my registered Paypal account $69.99 CAD. This was done without my knowledge, without any payment acknowledgement or approval from me. I was only aware when I checked my account profile and noticed the account status is now "Premium". I received an email receipt (attached with timestamp) indicating $69.99 was charged. Clearly as it is the SAME date I registered my FREE trial membership, there is no reason why I was charged the $69.99 (defeats purpose of FREE TRIAL).
I contacted Shaw Academy's customer service to resolve this matter and obtain a refund, and received this response from customer representative "Shane" on June 3, 2020:
- The subscription has been initiated as 4-week free trial.
- It was not cancelled during the trial period, so the payment was processed.
- We are unable to process subscription refunds unfortunately after the trial expiry, as per the terms and conditions.
The company attempted to close this matter with me by stating they cannot refund my money, but offering me 6 months of access for no further cost. This is unacceptable business practice, as I signed up for a 4 week free trial period, and on the very first day of my free trial, I was fraudulently charged $69.99 for a Premium Membership I did not want, and was not even informed of before the transaction processed. This is a fraudulent charge taken without my approval. I also have not taken any lessons nor received anything of value from this company from registration date to now (3 days).
I intend to share this terrible experience with Shaw Academy and their fraudulent sales practices with as many of my social network as possible (I work in the Education industry myself), local news media, and any other review websites.
Desired Outcome
As per the details of my complaint, I am demanding the business to refund me in full any amount in which I was wrongfully charged ($69.99 CAD). Again, I was charged this amount during DAY ONE of my 4 week FREE trial period, did not authorize this charge, and did not obtain any lessons nor receive anything of value from the company for this amount.

Shaw Academy advertised a month long free trial period that you could cancel at anytime. Cancellation is impossible- the number provided is a dead end
On 5/29/2020 I signed up for a month long free trial of a graphic design course at Shaw Academy. It was an impulse decision based on an ad I saw on Instagram. I gave them my credit card info because the site very clearly stated that I could cancel at any time. As soon as I scheduled my first class, I started getting emails, hounding me, telling me I was missing my classes (at times that they weren't scheduled), telling me I'd be contacted by my instructor, that I was required to attend, that I was required to reschedule. That didn't sit right with me- this was supposed to be a free trial, I wasn't required to do anything. After a dozen emails I finally decided this was more trouble than it was worth and went to cancel- only to find it was impossible. You have to click "I want to cancel my membership and benefits" at least 5 separate times. And then the final page lists a phone number that you are required to call (X-XXX-XXX-XXXX) and your "student number" (in my case: XXXXX.) It also lists business hours as 11am-8pm EST. I called at 4pm EST and waited 20 full minutes. In that time the only thing I heard was various loops of hold music. No one answered the phone, not even an automated answer. And there was no option of entering any code in order to cancel. I then emailed their "billing" contact- told them what had happened and requested a way to cancel. They responded, provided me an ID number XXXXXXX and told me someone would be in touch in 48 hours or sooner. I don't have high hopes that anything will be resolved at that time.
Desired Outcome
I wish to end my membership, permanently because I've read that some user's accounts were cancelled and then mysteriously re-opened. I want no further contact from this business. And I want assurance that my card will never be charged.

Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
Unable to cancel free trial subscription prior to end date of free trail. Emails and phone calls unanswered. No online ability or support to cancel.
Shaw Academy offered a free graphics course for the month of June. Credit card info was required to start free trial with the promise to not charge if the subscription is cancelled prior to end of trial date. I have had the free trail going for only a few days and I was getting spam emails for sales and course info that was wrong. I chose to remove my self from the trial offer. I have had no luck with being able to cancel my subscription online. They actually have you repeatedly click on cancel then leave you with a phone number to call to cancel. I have called this number several times and get nothing but music playing - on hold for nothing .I have emailed tech support, cancellations email address.. there has been no response and still I am getting spam emails and no cancellation or confirmation of cancellation. This I feel is a tactic to leave people helpless and possibly paying for something they don't want if they wait to long as there is no way to cancel.
Desired Outcome
I want this trail subscription cancelled. I want my account deleted. I want no further contact from Shaw Academy.

Shaw Academy charges credit card monthly payments despite account cancelation & being told I wouldn't be charged. They don't respond to my emails.
On 3/31/20, I signed up for a free 4 week online nutrition course with Shaw Academy. It forced me to enter my payment information for future billing if I decided to continue a monthly subscription after the free trial period, but said I could cancel before ever being charged. However, when I went to log in to my newly created account it asked for my payment info a second time so I decided to write to their support team before proceeding. Twice I was told that their support team didn't recognize the email address I was using, claiming that they didn't have my info, but then I sent them proof that the email address I was using was the one I signed up with. Next my ticket #XXXXXXX was given to Roy with Shaw Academy. I wrote: "I have decided that I do not wish to sign up for a course and would appreciate it if my payment info is deleted from your records." Roy replied: "Thank you for reaching out to us! I apologize for the inconvenience caused. This charge was for Card verification and the funds were reversed on the same day. Due to technical glitch, few of our students were charged more than once. However, the charges have been reversed right away. We had this issue escalated and our technical team has fixed it. Henceforth, I assure you there won't be any charges. If you need any further assistance ever, please contact us back." On 4/29/20, I used my ticket #XXXXXXX to send the following email: "According to your last email you said I would not be charged for Shaw Academy and I requested that all my payment info be deleted. However, this appears to not have happened because there is currently a $69.99 charge from Shaw Academy pending on my credit card (see attached screenshot). Please reverse this charge as soon as possible. I have never accessed any of the Shaw Academy materials and I'm very angry at this apparent scam. I have absolutely no money coming in because my unemployment hasn't been approved yet and cannot afford to be ripped off by you on top of that." I received no response. On 5/6/20, I emailed ***@shawacademy.com the following and attached all the previous ticket #XXXXXXX information: "It has been a week since I lasted attempted to contact your support team and have not received a response. According to my last emails with support, I was told I would not be charged for Shaw Academy and I requested that all my payment info be deleted. However, this appears to not have happened because there is currently a $69.99 charge from Shaw Academy pending on my credit card (see attached screenshot). Please reverse this charge as soon as possible. See previous emails below for more details." I have still not received a response from Shaw Academy, but I have continued to receive automatic emails from them as if I'm still enrolled in a course, one which I never accessed. On 5/11/20, I called my credit card company, Bank of America (BOA), to dispute the Shaw Academy $69.99 transaction on 4/28/20. BOA Claim #XXXXXXXX was initiated on 5/12/20. I was told a stop payment was put in place so Shaw Academy could not charge me again, unless they changed their name or billing info. Then another Shaw Academy $69.99 transaction was billed to my card on 5/26/20. So on 6/1/20 I made another call to BOA to dispute the transaction and another stop payment was put in place (Claim #XXXXXXXX initiated 6/3/20). This time I canceled my credit card and will be reissued a new one, but I was told that recurring monthly payments could be transferred to new card and that I'd need to keep an eye out for future Shaw Academy charges and continue disputing them until BOA could resolve it.
Desired Outcome
I want both $69.99 transactions (4/28/20 & 5/26/20) that Shaw Academy charged to my credit card reversed. I want any monthly recurring payments to be stopped and for them to delete all my contact and billing information.

Dear Student,

Accidentally clicked on a "toolkit" which costs, but there was no warning. It charged my account. Asked for refund, they refused & stopped replying.
06/02/20 Unique ID #XXXXXXX Refund request through their forum for $39.95 for a "Toolkit" payed through PayPal with my linked debit card. Signed up for a 4 week trial for Shaw Academy a few days before, but once I realized how complicated it was to set/change my schedule and then that I may not get my certificate without paying for it in the end, I decided to cancel my trial/account. They made me go through several promotion offers and then also made me call and confirm my cancellation which was already frustrating. Once done, I went to the app to verify it was cancelled but my phone's internet lagged when I was scrolling up and apparently I clicked on a "toolkit" which apparently costs, but I was not told or given a double verification of this purchase, it just gave it to me I guess. I was unaware at that moment and continued to check if my account was cancelled. It appeared to be cancelled, yet I received an email from paypal and Shaw saying there was a charge from Shaw Academy for the $39.95. I contacted their support and after explaining the incident they told me, "Once the Toolkit is activated in your account it is made available to you and we have transferred the content to you hence it cannot be disabled as it was provided therefore, we cannot refund." Then they continued to barade me with several more offers which only made me even more angry. I didnt want any of this. I snapped naturally, explained how dumb their app/website is and now they are not responding to my emails. I emailed a few times but nothing. Hopefully by taking this route I can finally get my refund. I dont even know what a toolkit is. I told them I'll delete everything. I wonder if there is some way to remove my account completely but for some reason they keep it up. I'm scared they will charge me again in 4 weeks for something. Still trying to remove my paypal information in the meantime. Even though I cancelled and they sent me an email of the confirmation, I am still receiving emails and calls about my classes, it's so frustrating.
Desired Outcome
I just want a refund and to remove my account and all my information completely. I dont want to deal with them anymore.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
They assured me I wouldnt be charged further, that my account was cancelled and they refunded me. Refund is already back in my bank now. Thank you.

I would like the money that they took from my PayPal account without my authorisation (i.e. they had not informed me of a price) refunded in full
Hi, I have been refunded the money!!!

Hi ***,
As advised earlier by my colleague from customer service, the registration have gone through. However, it was for a premium membership. It was not for the lifetime membership, where she can add her family and friends.
Regards,
Shaw Academy.
Hi ***,
My apologies for the experience you have had thus far. Please share the below link with your friend/family-member to register on our website using a non-registered email address:

The resolution I am seeking is that I want to be removed from any further transactions with them. As I only signed up for the free 4 week trial, and was not expecting to be charged for anything. Also I would like to be refunded my processing fees and would like to cancel any fees from them.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I want my $69.99 refunded.

Thank you, I was contacted by Shaw Academy via my review on Trust Pilot and they have issued my refund.
They charged me for a "free" trial course. Then I cancelled and they charged me again a month later.
June 4th 2020 charge date
Refund and knowledge to the public how terrible their business model especially with customer service.

As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
We have also processed your refund. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.

I want the subscription canceled, the information regarding free trials corrected and I want a full refund, since I have been trying to reach them since the beginning and they do not respond as promised.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.

A full refund of £79.90. Within the next week. Then close my account completly, ensuring I am not charged at the end of the free trial, like I have read so many other people have.
Dear Student,

I would like my credit card to be refunded the full amount of $69.99 and to never be charged and contacted by this company again.
Dear Student,

Must call their number to cancel. 20 minutes, no answer, no message, just annoying music. Don't use this scam. They won't let you cancel.
I had my account for less than 2 days after realizing I couldn't actually study at my own pace. Tried to cancel, was told to call a service number to finalize, and do so. I sit on the line for a ridiculous amount of time without a message, acknowledgment, or machine. Just blaring music. I want out of this scam
Cancellation of account.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
Thank you
I got charged after canceling twice, and was refused a refund both times.
I really need a refund, for both charges and then I'll leave you alone forever.
Dear Student,

Shaw Academy
Dear Student,
Our support team has informed that your refund has been processed as per your request. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.

I want this trail subscription cancelled. I want my account deleted. I want no further contact from Shaw Academy.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
Thank you
I want my account deleted and I want this company to stop robbing me of my money on card every month. I have sent multiple e-mails.

I want both $69.99 transactions (4/28/20 & 5/26/20) that Shaw Academy charged to my credit card reversed. I want any monthly recurring payments to be stopped and for them to delete all my contact and billing information.

I just want a refund and to remove my account and all my information completely. I dont want to deal with them anymore.
