They were supposed to send a reminder before my free trial ended so that I could cancel before I got charged. No reminder and I was charged $69.99.
I went to cancel so that I wouldn't get billed after the free trial and there was a prompt asking if I wanted to wait so that I could use my last 6 or 7 days or whatever, and it asked if I would like a reminder when my free trial was going to end, so sure why not, so I selected yes and didn't give it another thought because they were going to remind me... Well they didn't ever send a reminder and I got charged $69.99. They won't refund it because I agreed to the auto billing when I started my free trial, which yes, but silly me for expecting the company to do what they said they were going to do. They are incredibly difficult to get ahold of but I attempted contact the morning after I was charged through a help form on their website. The customer service representative who responded said they could not refund my money because I agreed when I signed up for the free trial. Well, they said they would send a reminder before my trial ended so I, assuming they would keep to their promise, didn't worry about it.
Desired Outcome
I want my $69.99 refunded.

Thank you, I was contacted by Shaw Academy via my review on Trust Pilot and they have issued my refund.
I wanted to cancel my free trial membership. However, I have no confirmation that cancellation happened, and I want to prevent being charged.
I have seen Shaw Academy's advertisements on Facebook, and my dad sent me a link to join it, so I signed up for it on June 4, 2020. I was under the impression that the courses that were offered were instantly accessible, however the site showed shady tactics to draw in the consumer such as having classes on certain times and charging huge fees with just a click on a button. With this shady behavior I looked up reviews from reddit and trustpilot, and found out that Shaw Academy used shady tactics to get money from their consumers such as making it indistinguishable whether or not you cancelled your account and immediately charging people a $40 amount for their 'premium' account in the middle of their 4 week free trial. So with reading the reviews, I did not want to be apart of Shaw Academy anymore and wanted to terminate my account with them in the same day. The site made me go through several pop-ups in order to 'cancel' however I never got a confirmation whether my account was fully cancelled. On my account it says that I have a premium membership, 4-week plan, and that my membership is still active despite cancelling it. My account number is XXXXX. Furthermore despite Shaw Academy advertising it's 'four week free trial' my Bank of America bank account has had 4 transactions for no reason. With Shaw Academy advertised as a "4 week free-trail" and stating that I would be immediately charged if I did not cancel my membership, I want to terminate my account so that I would not have to deal with paying for something that was advertised as free.
Desired Outcome
The resolution I am seeking is that I want to be removed from any further transactions with them. As I only signed up for the free 4 week trial, and was not expecting to be charged for anything. Also I would like to be refunded my processing fees and would like to cancel any fees from them.

I was charged $69.99 for not canceling my free trail on time. However, this company made it extremely difficult to cancel my membership.
Was charged for a membership after I went through all of the possible ways to cancel my subscription within the time frame specified. I took a 4 week free class in photography from Shaw Academy. My last class was on May 31st. I wanted to cancel my subscription on that day. I pushed several buttons indicating I was cancelling. I was then told I needed to call a number to fully cancel. This number was not available until Monday. I was charged 69.99 the following day. When I called the number on Monday it was an automated call trying to sell me more items. I have since written several emails trying to resolve the issue only to get more automated responses. I followed all of the procedures for cancelling and would like a refund. I would also like my account details permanently deleted.
Desired Outcome
Full refund of unauthorized payment of $69.99.

Automatic customer service system deactivated my account after me asking about family subscription. Customer service ignores me
I've purchased 6 months subscription which allows me to add up to 3 family members for them to study while subscription lasts. when I tried to add my sister, she didnt get the activation link. So I emailed customer support asking how to solve that issue and they replied to me by automatically generated letter which said that they deactived my account and they can not refund me the money. But I have never asked for any refund and surely I didnt want to deactivate my new account. So when I replied I only got automatically generated answer by the system which in any way were relevant to my problem. There are no alive people there. They charged me money, promiced to give free tool kit and free hard copy diploma, give me family plan. They have never given it and when I dared to ask they just cancelled my account!!!! I tried contacted them in different ways and platforms but they just kept ignoring all my messages.
An now to get my subscription back they are asking for new payment!!!!
Desired Outcome
I want my subscription back, free hard copy of diploma which i was promiced in the ad when paying for my plan, family members added and being able to do theie studies as well

Dear Shaw Academy, unfortunately I know your tricks too well already - send us an email and we will continue answering your question with irrelevant automatically generated letters. I have made it clear that I do not need a refund but I want my 6 months subscription and membership which I bought in may 2020 to be reactivated because its your team who has blocked it. I also insist on having an option to add up to 3 family members who can join their studies through my subscriptions - I had this option until the moment you cancelled my subscription. I deny any communication through your emails because you never respond in satisfactory way. get things settled, report about it here and I will close the case. end of story

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Dear Shaw Academy,
It is first time in my life when I face a customer service who it seems to me was trained to ignore questions from their customers. So I will repeat from the very beginning:
I have registered for 4 weeks free trial
Before 4 weeks were completed I have paid 6 month Greater Convenience package
Right after I paid rm299,94 I have got access to my account where there was an option to add up to 3 family members. So I have added my sister to the list of those 3 and I was promised by the system that she would get separate email link sent to her email in order to confirm her family member subscription.
This is the message I've got from the Shaw Academy after I added my sisters email to family list: With your current subscription, you can add upto 3 friends/family members to learn for free. Invite has been sent to below email accounts, please contact them for sign-up.
But no invite was sent, so I contacted your genius support team and explained them the same thing mentioned in p1-4. And imagine how surprised I was when I got the below message as a reply from the Shaw academy:
Hi Alyona,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I have personally reviewed your account and found the following details:
- The subscription has been initiated as 4-week free trial.
- It was not cancelled during the trial period, so the payment was processed.
- These terms are stated and accepted before account creation.T&C(https://www.shawacademy.com/terms) please see section 4 and 5.
We are unable to process subscription refunds unfortunately after the trial expiry, as per the terms and conditions.
However, we can confirm your membership is cancelled thus ensuring no further payments will be processed.
We are also providing you with 6-months access*** totally free of charge worth of $399, the least we can do is ensure you benefit from our professional certifications, so we can turn this unfortunate event in to a neutral, if not positive immediately. You will be able to complete the courses you initially joined and many other courses.
So basically your team has cancelled my already paid subscription, told me that I didnt buy anything but my account was automatically charged because I didnt cancel the trial subscription. That is why "we can confirm your membership is cancelled"! And Shaw Acadamy generously granted me 6 months subscription which I already paid for - what a gift!
After My subscription got cancelled - the tab with family members has disappeared and now shaw academy wants to prove me it has never existed and I have never had any right for it.
Isnt it what we call SCAM?
Not to mention the moment when I was buying my plan - I was promised to get free toll kit, hard copy of diplome - none of this has ever happened. Its a shame that having quite decent courses you have ruined your reputation by such attitude and cheating on your customers.
I was paying for subscription because I was promised I could add family members, so my sister could join too, but your organisation made everything possible to fail on all your special deals and promos.

I clicked on a link about certification, where there was no mention of price, then I was charged for this and have been told that it can't be refunded
I signed up for a free trial with Shaw Academy on 03/06/20. I entered the website and saw a link about certification for the course. There was no mention of a price attached to this. I clicked on the link and a note appeared about a 'payment'. I checked my PayPal account and £39.99 had been taken.
I immediately tried to contact via an online form. Then I read reviews online and realised that I may have been scammed. I went back on to try to cancel my subscription to make sure no further monies were taken from my PayPal. I was given a number to call. I called the number where they offered various other services to resume the subscription. I told them that all I want is to cancel the service that I signed up to 20 minutes or so ago and I want the money that was taken from my account without my approval refunded. They agreed to cancel my subscription and gave me an email address to contact re the refund.
I emailed them, they replied with an offer of more services but refused to refund. I emailed back, again explaining that I had no idea they were going to charge me as there was no price connected to the link about certification but I have yet to hear back from them.
I cancelled the authorisation via my PayPal and tried to dispute the amount taken via PayPal but as I had allowed authorisation (this was for payments to be taken after the free trial), PayPal would not allow the dispute.
I have contacted them again today 05/06/20 to let them know that I am taking up this matter with yourselves
Please can you help. I am a healthcare worker and am currently out of work because of the COVID19 pandemic, I do not have the funds to pay for this and I would never have chosen to click on this had I known there was a charge attached.
Desired Outcome
I would like the money that they took from my PayPal account without my authorisation (i.e. they had not informed me of a price) refunded in full
This company has charged me twice for a service I have never requested.
Somehow this company got ahold of my personal information and have been charging my credit card (69.99$/month). I have tried calling Shaw Academy but any option chosen sends you to an automated message about the lines being closed. I have sent e-mails to this company without any follow up. I have disputed the charges with my credit company (PC Financial) for the past two months and yet I was just charged today another 69.99$
Two months ago I was receiving phone calls at 10pm stated I missed a class, I brushed it off as scam calls. Until the first charge showed up. I have not been able to resolve anything in this situation and I am extremely unhappy. I found a « cancel your membership phone number » and called. I wad given the run around, each option gives you another message asking how sure you are to cancel. In the end it says the membership is canceled yet the automated system never asked for ANY personal information. And I had blocked my number so it's basically one big scam...
Desired Outcome
All I am asking is for my money to be refunded and my personal information to be deleted from their systems.

When I received the response, I did as their message said. I sent an e-mail with the information they asked for. This e-mail from me was sent on Tuesday June 9th at 12:24 pm. An automated reply was then received. " Your query has been received and has been given the unique ID number #XXXXXXX. One of our support staff will be in touch with you to address your issue within approximately 48 hours however we will do our best to come back sooner. We assure you this will not adversely impact your request in any way." I still have not heard back from this company.

Hi ***,
My apologies for the experience you have had thus far. I have reviewed your account and would like to confirm our support team have already processed your refund which will be credited back to the source within the next 3-5 business days.
They claim that a refund is not "convenient" for them, thus the won't issue it.
First here is their own words in a copy pasted email they sent to me as a reply twice:
"I have checked with our finance team for a possible refund; however, the refund is not at all convenient."
The Shaw Academy advertises that they have a free trial for continuing education. I enrolled. Once signed up I could see that the style of classes was most likely not for me.
One of the constant popups that reloads everytime you go to a new page is an offer for one of their course ecertificates with no additional information. If you click on it to read more it instantly your charges card $39.95 for the certificate and provides you with no further explanation.
I immediately "unrolled" - I have an email confirming my uninrollment. Then messaged their team to request a refund for the I wanted certificate.
Their response is an auto generated offer stating that it isn't convenient for them to refund so instead they will give me 3 months of classes and ECERTIFICATES for free.
They then charged my card a second time. When emailed about that the second charge is now gone but they still sent the same auto response about how a refund isnt what they feel like doing.
I am appalled by this whole situation. And I truly hope no one else falls pray to their flytrap schemes.
Desired Outcome
Refund the money for the ecertificate. Remove the one click buys from your ads and provide more information on your site.

I started a trial on June 1st it was a free 4 week trial. I was charged 69.99 that day and they won't refund it because apparently 1 day equals 4weeks
I have the emails, I started the trial June 1st.
Noticed the charge June 2nd
Called and cancelled June 3rd and emailed billing
Was told I had completed my trial even though my profile said my end date was June 29th, I corrected the staff member and was told that I was correct but billing still refuses to refund my account.
I sent them a picture of the charges too to show it was an accidental charge on their part.
Desired Outcome
I would like a refund and they should get in some kind of trouble seeing as I'm not only one this has happened to.

I signed up for a free four week trial on ShawAcademy several weeks ago. I canceled after a week and have recently been charged for a course.
I signed up for a free four week trial on ShawAcademy on April 22, 2020. I had never looked into any of the content or attended any classes offered. I spoke on the phone with a representative, who would not stop trying to stop me from canceling, to cancel. My free trial was canceled on April 26, 2020 which is documented by a text message from ShawAcademy reading the following: "Restart your free trial with Shaw Academy & be entered into a competition..." etc...
Following this automatic message were several text messages informing me I was late for class, encouraging me to reschedule my classes and encouraging me to restart my trial.
On May 3, 2020, I believe this is where I was signed up by ShawAcademy for a course against my knowing and will. I find this action in bad faith and a disgusting business practice.
I was charged $69.99 on June 2, 2020 through PayPal as an automatic payment. I filed a complaint with ShawAcademy and had several back and forth emails with ShawAcademy which summed up to them not being able to refund me and that it was my fault because it is in the terms and conditions. I have filed a PayPal dispute which I have not heard back from yet.
This is very obviously fraudulent business operations and at the least, actions made in bad faith in order to corner and scam individuals.
Attached are screenshots of all text messages from ShawAcademy and screenshots of my email thread with ShawAcademy following the charge. These are on the attached Microsoft Word document titled "ShawAcademy Evidence."
In short, I don't want freebies; I want my refund.
Desired Outcome
I am seeking my refund of $69.99 in full.

SA charged 69.99 immediately on the same day I registered for a 4 week trial. I immediately contacted within 24 hrs to cancel and was denied refund.
On May 30, 2020 I responded to a promotion for a free 4 week trial on Shaw Academy. As expected a pre-auth in a small amount of 1$ was processed and returned to my cc. Then I was notified immediately by my cc that an amount of 69.99 was also charged. I attempted to contact the company for a refund immediately within 24 hrs of the trial start and cancelled the trial immediately as well. A response by email from Paul , no last name provided, stated he reviewed my account and that I could not receive a refund because I did not cancel before my trial ended, which is not accurate. I cancelled within 24 hrs of requesting the trial. I was offered a 6 months membership, which I do not want. III responded and requesteddrequested a review again and was offered additional product or services which I do not want. I do not trust this company, especially since the customer service rep was not even accurate (or honest?) when referring to my account. I am disputing this charge with my cc service provider and it will take 90 days for them to resolve it. This is extremely disappointing especially given the state of the world and my finances during COVID. I expected a more reasonable action to be taken and my refund issued immediately as so many other reputable businesses I have experienced any issues with.
I received confirmation onton June 2, that my membership was cancelled .
Desired Outcome
I want my money back.

They will not provide a refund because of a mistake on the website. I never agreed to the terms and conditions at all.
I was exploring Shaw Academy website, which is shawacademy.com to what they offer. The date this all began was June 2, 2020 in the amount of $39.95 by debit card. Once I realized there was a charge on my bank statement I personally emailed them ASAP to request a refund and provided all of the required documentation. The only to get a hold of them is by email. Been emailing for about 3 days straight and all they can offer is 3 months free which is not what I want because I wasn't aware of the charge of $39.95.

Shaw Academy processed an unauthorized charge on my Debit card and refused to refund the money although I did never purchased their services.
I began a trial through the Tmobile Tuesday promotions in April, I had then cancelled the service on April 27, as reflected by the screenshot. 2 months later on June 3 I get a charge from the service, although I did not sign up for them again. I paid for this by debit card, I am not confident that the company will not continue to charge me again. As they have currently without my authorization.
Desired Outcome
I am just seeking for a refund for a service i did not authorize. And to no longer be charged in the future from this company as they seem to sneakingly charge me 2 month later after i had cancelled and ended my 4 week trial period.

Dear Student,

We have also processed your refund. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.
I've been trying to cancel my free trial and they haven't allowed me to do so. They try to extend it instead of cancelling.
I signed up for the free trial. They emailed constantly. Texted constantly (don't give your real number), and EVEN CALLED. They called me at 2am. I decided to cancel.
So I went on their app and went through the cancellation process but then you have to CALL them to cancel your trial. I called. No answer. I've emailed 4 TIMES. They tried to extend my trial in the first email. I told them I don't want to extend my trial, I want to cancel it completely. They then told me I shouldn't cancel my trial so I sent them a third email saying they weren't listening and I wanted to CANCEL. In their third email to me they then told me I couldn't cancel via emal and had to go through the steps. I just emailed them a fourth time stating I had tried to go through the steps but their was no answer from the phone number.
So THEY LITERALLY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE for you to cancel. It is a TOTAL SCAM and with how difficult it is, they are screwing people out of their money. This company should be shut down. It should not be difficult to cancel a free trial and I should never have signed up. Do yourself a favour and NEVER sign up for anything with Shaw Academy.
My student number is XXXXX. Since they still haven't cancelled my trial I'm hoping this will make them do so.
In case they are STILL NOT LISTENING. LET ME REPEAT.
I WANT TO CANCEL MY FREE TRIAL.
I DO NOT WANT IT EXTENDED. CANCEL IT.

They have finally cancelled my membership. It took complaining to the Revdex.com to get them to. So I'm not completely satisfied as customers shoukd not have to file a complaint with the Revdex.com simply to get a membership cancelled when I emailed them FOUR TIMES prior to this to tell them to cancel my membership and they refused.
Don't get shaw academy's free trial. It's a scam and apparently you have to get someone else involved for them to actually listen to you or else they'll just give you more free months. Which would be nice but I was cancelling because of the unbelievable amount of texts and phone calls from them during my free trial. It was annoying.
Also, the fact that they don't respect uour decision to cancel is very rude. Yes they try to give you more free months, but honestly I think it's just so you'll forget that you have to cancel to not be charged. Anyways, I'm relieved that I finally don't have to deal with them anymore.
Shaw Academy has charged me twice 2x $69.99 when I was under the impression I was in a tried period with a promo code from Fido.
I originally signed up for a free 1-month trial with Shaw Academy (signing up at the end of March 2020). Upon learning that Fido (my service provider) was offering a promo code for a 3month trial, I went to my membership page and updated/inputted the new code to extend my trial in order to have the 3 months instead of 1. I was given no indication that the code did not work when doing this. I recently checked my credit card statement to find I have been charged twice (during April and May 2020), a monthly fee of $69.99. I have attempted to resolve the issue with Shaw Academy directly but they do not answer all of my questions and only attempt to offer me further membership (which I did not ask for), refusing to refund my money and honour the Fido promo code.
I find their business practices rather poor. They do not make it clear you are charged / about to be charged and their customer service will not acknowledge some of my pointed concerns included below:
1. They do not email you a receipt of your most recent payments.
2. They did not email me to say my 'trial' was about to expire.
3. Their website today states that 'premium membership' costs $59.99 CAD and I have been charged $69.99 CAD twice now. I inquired about during our correspondence but they will acknowledge the question or state why that is.
4. When I went to their website to input my Fido promo code, I was given no indication that the code was not accepted upon entering it.
5. I have taken a screenshot of my Fido promo code and sent it to them for consideration (can provide if needed) but they will not acknowledge or honour this.
6. During my interactions with them via email this week for a refund, the representative at one point stated (and I have the email records), "I have checked with our finance team for a possible refund; however, the refund is not at all convenient".
I do not want any further membership offers from Shaw, I am looking for a refund only (grand total $139.98 for the two charges). Can you please help?

I have reached out to Shaw Academy per their request in their previous Revdex.com response. They have responded to me once in the last 8 days. They have denied my request for refund and although I have asked for further consideration and an explanation why I am being charged $69.99 CAD when their website says premium membership costs $59.99 CAD.
They also assured me once again on June 11th (their last message) that my membership was cancelled and no further payments would be processed. I then see another charge for their membership at $69.99 CAD on June 14. Please help!

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I was charged on my account twice in the first two days for a trial that should have been free of charge.
I subscribed to a free trial on May31 and payment was immediately taken off my account. I contacted the support team and requested a refund. They claimed that they hadn't recognised my email and I should confirm my details with them, which I did. In the meantime, I was receiving conflicting messages some congratulating me for attending the first class, some claiming I had not attended it.
Two days later another payment was taken off my account.
I've been emailing customer services back and forth. They failed to address my points in the emails and refer to the terms and conditions without mentioning any specific points. I have perused their terms and conditions and I even quoted parts back to them to prove my point.
None of those payments should have been taken as I did not authorise them and I signed up for a free trial. It is not the case that my free trial had ended and they automatically charged me, it is a case of taking payment while stating that it is free for 28 days.
They have offered free membership, but I do not wish to take that.
Thos payments have been taken wrongfully deducted from my account and I request a refund that they're refusing.
Desired Outcome
I request a full refund of both payments.
I request my card details to be disposed.

Shaw academy took R799.00 from me. Without my permission, the only money these people refunded was R499.00 I refuse to accept it. I demand all my money. I NEVER gave them permission to debit from my account.
They took R299.00 on 27th of March and R499.00 5th June 2020 . They only refunded me R499.00.
Can I PLEASE get back every cent they took.

Company is not responding to my emails asking for a refund that was never authorized
I signed up for a free Excel class on April 23, 2020 and never attended it. I was never made aware that I would be automatically charged, but on May 21, 2020 I was questionably charged $69.99 through paypal. Transaction IDXXXXXXXXXXX*. Invoice # XXXXXXXX. I followed instructions for contacting the company, and emailed them at paypal@shawacademy on May 22 and May 26 and have not received a response, nor am I able to get in touch with paypal.

My emails to the company read:
Hello!
I'm writing to request a refund for the purchase that was made yesterday for $70. I never used this service onceI signed up for a single class, realized I didn't want to do it, and never used it. I never received information about being charged automatically, especially for a service I'm not using and did not authorize.
Thank you for your help with this!
Have a lovely day and thanks again,

Hi,
Can you please update me with this status, or let me know if I can provide anything else? Thanks so much!!

***
It is now June 3 and I have not heard a response, and paypal I guess doesn't provide customer service any more.
I'm not sure what else to do. If I would have known they were going to charge me money that I don't have, I would not have signed up for the class I never used anyway. It seems like theft to subject consumers to this and then ignore their own consumers.
Thank you very dearly for any help you can provide!
Thanks again and take care
Desired Outcome
I included all information in the box above. Thanks.
If necessary, I'm looking for a $69.99 refund that I never authorized or agreed to, for a service I never wanted.

Hi ***, We are extremely sorry for the unpleasant experience with us, We would like to inform you that Shaw Academy Premium Membership - Monthly Subscription is a paid benefit which is non-refundable as per our policies, Our intention was not to upset you in any way.
I was on a free trial with Shaw Academy. I went to cancel and was offered a 2 month extension. I agreed. After month one I was charged 70$ for service
I started on a free trial with Shaw Academy about 2 months ago. A month ago before my trial was about to cancel, I was offered an additional 2 month free trial by Shaw's automated cancellation service. I agreed to the 2 month extension. After 1 month one I was charged $69.99 US dollars for service on May 31, 2020. I contacted billing and they stated that they didn't see such things in my account. It upsets me because after researching online, I see that others have experienced these terrible thing. It's upsetting that in a time like this pandemic, people are so greedy to take money from others. I would not recommend ShawAcademy to anyone. Stay far away.
Desired Outcome
I seek a full refund from this business. It's unethical business practices and false promises of free trials

Issue was resolved
I'm trying to cancel my trial subscription before it ends but on your procedure it's asks me to call a number that nobody answer.
I cancelled my membership 6/3/20, before the trial period ends. The number the website asks me to call put me on hold greater than 30 minutes, no responses. I called within the hours of service. If they can't accommodate calls, they shhoffer email as an alternative.
Desired Outcome
Confirmation of cancellation.

Refund and knowledge to the public how terrible their business model especially with customer service.

As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.

The resolution I am seeking is that I want to be removed from any further transactions with them. As I only signed up for the free 4 week trial, and was not expecting to be charged for anything. Also I would like to be refunded my processing fees and would like to cancel any fees from them.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Hi ***,
As advised earlier by my colleague from customer service, the registration have gone through. However, it was for a premium membership. It was not for the lifetime membership, where she can add her family and friends.
Regards,
Shaw Academy.

I would like the money that they took from my PayPal account without my authorisation (i.e. they had not informed me of a price) refunded in full
Hi, I have been refunded the money!!!

Shaw Academy.

I want my money back.

This case was not resolved satisfactorily by the company. My credit card provider is pursuing the refund and can take up to 120 days.
Hi ***,
We are sorry that you had to go through this entire ordeal. Please be assured that we have initiated a refund which will be credited back to the source in next 3- 5 business days. If you have logged any dispute with your bank please withdraw it ASAP so the transaction can go through without fail. Please let us know if there is anything else you need assistance with.
Regards,
Shaw Academy
They will not provide a refund because of a mistake on the website. I never agreed to the terms and conditions at all.
I was exploring Shaw Academy website, which is shawacademy.com to what they offer. The date this all began was June 2, 2020 in the amount of $39.95 by debit card. Once I realized there was a charge on my bank statement I personally emailed them ASAP to request a refund and provided all of the required documentation. The only to get a hold of them is by email. Been emailing for about 3 days straight and all they can offer is 3 months free which is not what I want because I wasn't aware of the charge of $39.95.
I am seeking for a refund of $39.95 because I wasn't aware of this charge. Would like sent back on the card that I had to put on file when i signed up for the free trial for the month.
Dear Student,
Our support team has informed that your refund has been processed as per your request. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.
Thank you

Shaw Academy processed an unauthorized charge on my Debit card and refused to refund the money although I did never purchased their services.
I began a trial through the Tmobile Tuesday promotions in April, I had then cancelled the service on April 27, as reflected by the screenshot. 2 months later on June 3 I get a charge from the service, although I did not sign up for them again. I paid for this by debit card, I am not confident that the company will not continue to charge me again. As they have currently without my authorization.
I am just seeking for a refund for a service i did not authorize. And to no longer be charged in the future from this company as they seem to sneakingly charge me 2 month later after i had cancelled and ended my 4 week trial period.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
We have also processed your refund. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.
Thank you
I've been trying to cancel my free trial and they haven't allowed me to do so.
CANCEL IT.
To Cancel my free trial so that I will not be charged. I do not want it extended. I want it CANCELLED and for it to show that I have cancelled on my account.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.

Thank you.

***
My emails to the company read:
Hello!
I'm writing to request a refund for the purchase that was made yesterday for $70. I never used this service onceI signed up for a single class, realized I didn't want to do it, and never used it. I never received information about being charged automatically, especially for a service I'm not using and did not authorize.
Thank you for your help with this!
Have a lovely day and thanks again,
***
And again, 4 days later:

Hi,
Can you please update me with this status, or let me know if I can provide anything else? Thanks so much!!

Invoice # XXXXXXXXX
I included all information in the box above. Thanks. If necessary, I'm looking for a $69.99 refund that I never authorized or agreed to, for a service I never wanted. Thank you

Confirmation of cancellation.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
Thank you
