Signed in for a FREE 4 weeks course. They charged me 69Cad after I signed in for the free trial. I wasnt suposed to ne charged till past free trial.
Hi signed in for a free phtography 4 weeks course. It was stated that was free 4 weeks trial, and If I don't cancel subscription before free trial ends I would get charged 69cad per month as a subscription plan.
As soon as I signed in the free trialI got a bank charge of 1 cad and the next minute another charge of 69Cad. Same day. Same moment.
I want my money back and cancel this scam of subscription.
I have contacted support but no answer yet, and for what Ive seen on internet they seem troubleing to get refunds or cancel subscritpions, and I'm not on the mood of losing thime with this.
Date of sign in: May 31, 2020, 12:36
Date of charge on Credit Card: May 31, 2020, 12:30
Desired Outcome
I want the refund of both transactions:
69 cad and 1 cad
Also i want my subscriptio to ne canceled and not getting charges after cancelation as Ive seen on internet happening.

I ACCEPT the refund. But haven't got it back yet. When Istarted to get charged I changed my Credit card information for a fake one so no other payment could be processed wihtout my consent.
I'm pretty sure that if the company is serious has the data from the original transactions and they refunded the money there, not to the not working Credit card.
But since a it's been 6 days and I haven;t recieved the refund this, could ywe check with the company if they did the refund with the same card data as they charged it? or they used the data on file (that was wrong and makes the card non existing).
Thanks

Dear Student,
The refund was processed from our end on 5th June 2020. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days from the said date.
I was charged after I cancelled and was told that I would never be charged again.
I cancelled my account through email and over the phone. I was told that it would be cancelled and would never be charged again. This was after they kept trying to offer me promotions that I did not want. A few days later as I'm eating breakfast, a charge comes through on an instant notification from PayPal for a $39.95 charge that I did not make. I immediately picked up the phone and called. I also emailed immediately. The lady told me on the phone that since I cancelled that I would be refunded but the billing department had to refund me as she did not have authorization. She also would not transfer me to the billing department. A few days later, I receive an email saying that I can not be refunded as I was charged for a toolkit that I clicked. I emailed back saying I did not click on a button and that I did not authorize this charge. Again, Shaw Academy emailed me back saying they still could not help refund me as the purchase is final. A purchase that is final for something I never made in the first place. I cancelled because I did not want to be charged. They can delete my account and process me a refund. It was my intentions not to use them right now because of my financial situation. Now I will never use them again if they continue to treat their customers this way.
Desired Outcome
I would like a refund for something I did not purchase. I called and cancelled. I was told no further charges. You have to honor what you say or this is a fraudulent company.

I signed up for shaw academy under their"free trial period" and during that period I attempted to cancel. Which seems to be impossible.
After I attempted to cancel,( May30th) to which there is a 5 page layout that keeps asking "are you sure that you want to cancel?" You are then led to a page that says if you want to cancel call this number (Their office number I assume) to which I called and the office is closed and I was hung up on. I didn't need to call them to sign up but I need to call them to cancel? This is shady. I also attempted to remove my payment method, which leads you to a page that continuously loads and never allows you to remove that information. So I seems I have been strong armed into something that I was completely uninformed of (again shady). I never received an email that my membership trail was over or that it was up for renewal, I also never received an invoice stating that I paid for a membership (something that I didn't want and seemed to be force into participating in). Its very shady that they can remove a payment from my account (which I didn't authorize) to the sum of $69.99(again I never received and invoice for) over the weekend but I can't cancel over the weekend, I have to wait until Monday...
This is ridiculous, I would like a complete refund and have nothing to do with this company ever again.
I simply cannot afford to have "Shaw academy" to help themselves to money in my account because the refuse to comply with proper business practices. This whole app is a circle of prevention of getting a refund and making sure they steal and keep your money. I as a customer should be allowed to make the choice as whether I want to pay and continue a service or not continue and be able to easily cancel. None of which was provided to me.
I honestly would like a full refund and be done with this "business" for good!
Desired Outcome
I would just like a refund and fully cancel my membership, which no attempt of future unauthorized payment removals.

I am not able to Cancel my subscription in my trial period ending 10june2020 otherwise I would be charged. That's very unethical and Unprofessional
Hi,
I tried to cancel my subscription in my trial period which is still On, but there I am not able to cancel it. Shaw academy told me to call on the number to cancel, I called 2 times , given email 3-4 times on their each email I'd provided on their website..but They just not responding. I am afraid they are going to charge me after my trial period which is unethical as they don't let customers to cancel the subscription and they have my payment details..! My trial ends on 10 june2020 so 10 days left from now.
I have seen reviews, Shaw academy does this kind of fraud with the customers who want to cancel subscription.
Desired Outcome
I just want to cancel my subscription, I have 10 days left now, I am still in trial period. I don't want them to deduct any money from my credit card as I have not completed free course and trying to cancel my subscription in Trial period.

Refund of my fees charged from credit card without my approval.
I had subscribed for a Trial membership and paused it. I was told that I will be getting a notification when I will have to restart my membership. But today, my card was charged with a monthly premium subscription fee of $69.99. The amount deduction without my approval and notification. This amounts to a theft on my credit card.
Request you to please refund my amount of $69.99.
Desired Outcome
Refund.

Unauthorized withdrawl from my account without notice.
This company said I had signed up for a free trial, and yet when I tried to contact the company they couldnt find my information in their system. They billed me 34.99 for the first payment yet I never got an email saying I was signed up for anything. Never recieved any notice that a free trial was ending. Nothing. After a few email responses regarding a refund they refused and offered me a few months free. This seems like a common practice from complaints here. I demanded a refund from the company because this is irresponsible as a business practice.
Desired Outcome
I am seeking a full refund of 34.99.

Clicked on a link within my first lesson to look at certificate requirements and was charged 39.95. Use of clickbait to charge people = unethical.
joined a free trial for yourselves and was just about to sit my first lesson on 31st May 2020 for a diploma in excel when I noticed a link on the bottom of the page for an e-certificate. I thought I'd have a look at it whilst I was waiting for course to start and what your e-certificate requirements were. Instead of providing details for a certificate of a course I haven't even sat yet, you instantly charged me for this certificate. I think your link was terribly misleading - intentionally so - and obviously a sign of the sort of company you are. I have now cancelled my 'free' trial (cancellation code XXXXX) and have no access to this course or 'certificate' and want a refund. I am amazed you think such practices are acceptable and after hearing good things about you, I'm going to be instead informing people that you are clearly an unethical company - especially in times of COVID19 - who just wants to make a fast buck out of people.
Payment was via paypal. Transaction XXXXXXXXXXXXX for 39.95 GBP.
Desired Outcome
I want to have a full refund. I've not sat a single lesson on your 'free trail' and have now cancelled this. I haven't accessed the certificate and have no digital copy of this - which I am sure you'll be able to check through your online system. This is not how any learning platform should do business so please also learn from this.

My refund was issued by Paypal rather than the Shaw Academy after I highlighted the Academy's system of coercive payments to Paypal. The confirmation I received from Shaw Academy that my account had been closed required more than 5 emails to obtain with their replies instead of responding to my request attempting to upsell to me. This company's practices have been highlighted with Fraud Action and the Advertising Standards Agency. I am satisfied now that my account has been closed but unsatisfied that I will not be the last customer they treat this way and so have highlighted their poor practice with further governing bodies.
Shaw Academy processed an unauthorized charge on my credit card and refused to refund the money although I never agreed to purchase their services.
I initially registered for the free digital marketing trial on 4/5/20 with the first class starting on 4/11/20 and the second class of the week on 4/12/20. On the morning of the last day of class on 5/3/20, I checked my account and it said that I had 1 day left before my trial ended, which meant 1 day left to cancel. (If there are "4-weeks of classes and my first class started on 4/12/20, then isn't 4 weeks 5/8/20 since no services are available to me prior to my first class?) I decided to attend my last class and cancel the trial after class, however, Shaw Academy immediately processed an unauthorized charge of $69.99 at the end of class on my credit card via PayPal and refused to refund the money although I never agreed to purchase their full services. Moreover, I wasn't given notice that I would be charged ahead of time via email or agree for Shaw to process a charge on a completely different credit card from the one I initially signed up with on my PayPal account. I immediately followed up via email and opened a ticket, to which I received multiple cookie cutter responses refusing to refund my money. They are scamming people during unprecedented times like these by claiming to offer free classes, taking advantage of the layoffs, and then charging them once the class ends with no buffer for students to cancel their trial. It isn't a 4-week trial if I have to cancel before my last class in order to not get charged, but it seems like even if you do manage to cancel beforehand, their system still charges you, as per the remarks of others. Their system is a joke. Aside from being told that I had 1 day left on my trial, I have also submitted a cancellation request and was told to call their office to complete the cancellation during their M-F business hours. I have not taken any further steps to use their material, yet they still refuse to process my refund. Their advertising is misleading vulnerable people who are experiencing such hardship with COVID-19. They should be ashamed of themselves. Buyer beware.
Desired Outcome
I am seeking a refund back to my PayPal account for the amount of $69.99.

In order to cancel my account, I must call a phone number with my student reference number during the week from 11am-8pm Eastern Time.
I signed up for Shaw Academy after seeing an ad on Instagram detailing their course on financial investments and securities. There is a free trial that lasts 4 weeks. I entered my debit card information and registered with an account. Viola, I had access to the courses. However, I was not aware of the nature of the courses. The fact that they are not self-paced displeased me, and I wished to cancel my account effective immediately.
I navigated the seemingly endless labyrinth of "yes, I would like to cancel my account" buttons until I reached a screen informing me that I would have to call a number with a reference number to cancel during their available hours. This is outrageous. Any credible online service should allow it's users to cancel at any time, through the service itself. Otherwise, why use an online service?!
Fear played a big role in my arrival to this website. Immediately after discovering the shady method of membership cancellation, and the plethora of dissatisfied customers who had trouble closing their accounts permanently, I decided to cut through the nonsense and come here.
NO ONLINE SERVICE SHOULD REQUIRE A PHONE CALL TO CANCEL MEMBERSHIP.
I'm afraid if I don't make a larger statement, my account will not be permanently terminated, and I will be charged in the future randomly. I cannot afford this, and need my account cancelled. I should not have to make a complaint in order to address my account cancellation. Thank you.
Desired Outcome
I would like to close my account permanently within the next few days.

They closed the account quickly with no issues.
They are charging me for the services which I had cancelled and not used. They have no way to delete my details on their site.
I started using Shaw academy as a trail period but their portal was too confusing and made in a way that you may click mistakenly on their one click purchase scam links, I did it and I paid 24.95 Euro after that I filed a complaint on their site about this matter and they told me they can't refund me and offered me some free materials on their site and I took the offer and cancelled my subscriptions with them, after that I got a call from them about one month extra free trail period and I clearly told them no. since March I haven't logged into their site after cancelling my subscription, now today 30.05.2020 they charged me 49,99 Euro for monthly premium subscription which neither I have booked or I have used. They are just scamming people with this tricks. I can not delete my payment details from their site as well. I have frozen the transactions with my paypal if they are not going to resolve the matter.
Desired Outcome
I just want my refund and wish they stop scamming people like this.

Credit card debited for a course advertised as free

This company is a scam and they use despicable bullying and trick tactics to try to get you to stay on! I'm still being bullied and constantly texted
I signed up for the trial and forgot to cancel the first month. So I thought I canceled the 2nd. That's when I saw the $69.99 charge from my bank account. Like I said I thought I had already canceled it. So I go to their website and go through 5+ web pages of ***, only to get a phone number to call to cancel (again). So I call the number. I have to sit on the phone almost 10 minutes while the auto recorded voice switches up all the questions after asking them a different way and continually tries to trick me into saying yes I want to stay! Horrible system! No option to speak with a person either. I'm still getting texts and emails about this program that I DON'T WANT!! I emailed their customer service. I had to email them 2-3 times with my information even though I was using the same email address I used when I initially signed up. Seriously? They apparently love to waste people's time, get them frustrated beyond measure and then ask for info they already received! After this back and forth over several days, I am at a very high frustration level. I was told no I wouldn't get a refund and that they were extending my subscription with some 6 month deal. NO! NO MEANS NO! I don't want their program, because they have proven several times now they are going to bully me and sign me up for an extended deal I never wanted! I have never once even received a sorry or any sort of human reaction from them. I am disgusted by their horrible service, horrible bullying tactics, and extending my membership even though I obviously want nothing to do with them. I just want a refund of the $69.99. That's it. That's the only resolution I'll take. They have made me feel tormented and bullied. Not only that but, but my husband got COVID-19, and we lost his paycheck. We are barely holding on as it is. I came to ask for help in the way of a refund so I can put food on my table and they gravely insult me by giving me some extended 6 month membership that they will probably charge me for after 6 months? No. I just want my refund.
Desired Outcome
I only want a refund. With the virus going crazy around the world, I was gravely insulted that they shoved an extended membership i didn't want down my throat instead of giving me the refund I asked for. I just want some human compassion during these hard times. I need to put food on the table with that money.

I would like for them to delete my card details on their database, I've been trying to remove my subscription from them for a few days now.
I set up my account on May 12 with their free trial of courses but a few days later I reconsidered the subscription. I tried requesting them to cancel my subscription, but it seems that I am not able to unless I contact them, which is impossible for me since I live in the Philippines. I hope you can help me as the card I used is my main card and it would be hard to have it replaced. The account used my email which is: ***@gmail.com.

In early 2019 I paid for a online Masters course with SHAW academy.
Roll on 18 months later and a dozen messages from your customer service team who constantly reply that it has been delayed - but have never updated their customers with this information. A blatant fraud. They never had the goods in the first place and are saying that it may never happen.
I am requesting a full and immediate refund on my purchase.
I have not had any updates regarding this or even an email apologising for the delay ever since the purchase which was due to be rolled out early-mid 2019. I can only imagine the THOUSANDS of others who were duped into transacting and purchasing this offer with no intention of fulfilling or honouring the purchase
They have literally taken my money and done nothing.
I copied my local trading standards and the Consumer Centre in Dublin where they are also based despite trading globally. I needed them to be made aware of their suspected fraudulent activities.
My email address will ultimately show the purchase on their system.

Actually, checked with bank- it worked. This is settled, sorry for any confusion I'm 19. Will click settled.
I signed up for Shaw Academy's free 4 week trial, realized I was too busy to continue it, canceled it before my trial was over, and was STILL charged.
I signed up for Shaw Academy on April 23, 2020 for the free month of service.
I realized I didn't have the time to attend the classes regularly and decided to cancel. I went to my online profile and did the lengthy cancellation process. After completing that, I was told that I still wasn't done and in addition I had to call the number provided to complete the cancellation. I did this on May 14, 2020.
I called the number a few days later but was within my trial period. I called the number on May 19, 2020 and listened to the entire recording and canceled my membership.
My account was then still charged of $69.99 on May 21, 2020. When I emailed Shaw Academy I was told that I had to email them using the same email I had signed up with but that WAS the email I had signed up with. I have dozens of emails from them sent to that email address. I then got a cancellation email days after canceling. I've been in contact with Paul from Shaw Academy who keeps offering me free instruction. I don't want free classes for 6 months or a year. I want my money back.
Desired Outcome
I want the $69.99 refund processed on the earliest day possible.

I am satisfied because I wanted a refund and they have agreed to give me one.
I attempted to sign up for a free 4 week course, but after getting my card information and sending me texts, never allowed me to log in or cancel.
I attempted to sign up for a free 4 week course for Shaw Academy on April 29, 2020. I wanted to check out the course before committing beyond the free trial. I signed up using my email address, which was associated with my paypal account and needed to complete the registration. I received a text message offer with a link to purchase a special promotional package, which I was not interested in. I attempted at that point, to log into Shaw Academy and cancel my new membership, but was unsuccessful as I assumed my email had to be verified and I would receive an email with a call to action to complete my registration. I put a reminder in my phone calendar on May 26, 2020 to cancel the membership. Once I saw the reminder, I attempted to log in again and searched through all of my emails wondering why my email was not registered. The error reads "User with specified email does not exist." I filed a dispute using my paypal information direction from my paypal account considering this must be the only way they know I exist. They charged me $69.99 on May 27, 2020 and I want a 100% full refund as soon as possible. It is completely ridiculous that this is such a common scam used by Shaw Academy as I see in the other complaints filed here. Not only did they take my money, but they never even registered my account. On top of it, they request your phone number when registering, which they then use to send the same link repeatedly that absolutely looks like spam and should not be clicked on or answered. Along with the fact that I believe my phone number was sold because I have had more spam phone calls in the last month than I have ever had in the two years I have had this phone number. I even use a spam blocking app through Verizon and still get at least 5 calls a day from unknown numbers from random locations that I would have absolutely no association with. I demand a refund. This is not a business. And there is no free course.
Desired Outcome
The only resolution that will satisfy my complaint is a full refund.

Shaw Academy refuses to refund the toolkit that I purchased under the impression that, aside from the certificate of completion, it was going to be the only other payable fee.
What they don't tell customers before signing up is that they will be charged a monthly fee, after a 30 day free trial.
Also there is an optional(but highly recommended!!)toolkit to be purchased for EACH MODULE and of course you have to pay for the certificate.
All this is not mentioned before signing up.
I wouldn't have purchased the toolkit had I known about the extra fees.
I call this false advertisement by neglecting to inform potential customers of what their subscription will entail.
I contacted them asking for a refund for the toolkit stating very clearly that I wanted to cancel on the basis of their deceitful conduct.
They continue to ignore my request and instead they keep offering me freebies, stating that I agreed to the terms and conditions regarding refunds, when purchasing that toolkit and that they are by no means able to issue my refund, on that basis.
First of all this is terrible customer service but most importantly I feel cheated and therefore do not wish to study with them, not even if that was free, at this point.
I wish to get a refund for the toolkit purchased and to cancel my subscription with Shaw Academy.
Here are the details:
Payment date
16 May 2020
Amount paid via Paypal
£39.95
Invoice ID
XXXXXXXX
Transaction ID
Desired Outcome
I would like the money I payed to Shaw Academy refunded and also to receive a confirmation that my account with them is closed.
In addition, if that is possible I would like to see that Shaw Academy is forced to make all their fees noticeable to potential students before they actually subscribe and purchase anything from them, should they wish to continue with their business.
Lots of people are complaining about having to go through a lot of hardship just to close their account or get a refund.
This is such a waste of time, effort and for some people of a lot of their money, as some of them state that funds keep getting taken out of their account.
Many thanks for uour support.

Dear student,
We're sorry to know you were less than satisfied with Shaw Academy. We give the highest priority to the quality of education and support to our students and we would like to make things right.
Please contact us directly at ***@shawacademy.com for refund related assistance. Please mention the Revdex.com complaint number in the subject line for our reference.
I need my money back, I followed the cancellation steps of the page in due course within the free days they offered me.
The month of April I signed up to shaw academy trying to use the free week that they offered on their platform, I automatically decided to cancel the subscription trusting that it had been done successfully since I followed all the steps, today reviewing my account I was surprised that I have been discounted in soles: 252.31 Soles, since I am from Peru and in that currency I have saved my money.
I did not use the platform at any time, and I want you to return the money please, because for the covid 19 I need the money.
I am not in a position to pay or to be discounted such amount having canceled the subscription. I await your prompt reply please.
This is my account number: XXX-XXXXXXXX-X-XX BCP
The charge of my card was: 252.31 Soles (Peru)
Desired Outcome
Well I need a refund of the money that was deducted from my card, I canceled my membership almost a day after I signed up, nor did I use the platform, you can verify that using the code that appears on my profile: XXXXX

Date of sign in: May 31, 2020, 12:36
Date of charge on Credit Card: May 31, 2020, 12:30
I want the refund of both transactions: 69 cad and 1 cad Also i want my subscriptio to ne canceled and not getting charges after cancelation as Ive seen on internet happening.
Dear Student,
Our support team has informed that your refund has been processed as per your request. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.
Thank you
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Thank you

I would like a refund for something I did not purchase. I called and cancelled. I was told no further charges. You have to honor what you say or this is a fraudulent company.
Dear Student,
Your refund has been processed as per your request. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.

I would just like a refund and fully cancel my membership, which no attempt of future unauthorized payment removals.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
We have also processed your refund. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.

I just want to cancel my subscription, I have 10 days left now, I am still in trial period. I don't want them to deduct any money from my credit card as I have not completed free course and trying to cancel my subscription in Trial period.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
Thank you
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Refund.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
We have also processed your refund. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.
Thank you
Unauthorized withdrawl from my account without notice.
I am seeking a full refund of 34.99.
Dear Student,
Your refund has been processed as per your request. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.
Thank you
Clicked on a link within my first lesson to look at certificate requirements and was charged 39.95.
I want to have a full refund. I've not sat a single lesson on your 'free trail' and have now cancelled this. I haven't accessed the certificate and have no digital copy of this - which I am sure you'll be able to check through your online system. This is not how any learning platform should do business so please also learn from this.
Hi ***,
We are sorry that you had to go through this entire ordeal. Please be assured that your account has been deactivated and charges have been refunded. Please let us know if there is anything else you need assistance with.
Regards,
Shaw Academy.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am seeking a refund back to my PayPal account for the amount of $69.99.
Dear Student,
Your refund has been processed as per your request. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.
Thank you
In order to cancel my account, I must call a phone number with my student reference number during the week from 11am-8pm Eastern Time.
Thank you.
I would like to close my account permanently within the next few days.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
Thank you
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I just want my refund and wish they stop scamming people like this.

Credit card debited for a course advertised as free
A free project management course was advertised and I registered to attend the class. Upon completing the registration process it indicated that my total owing was 0$ and that my card would be charged on June 26, 2020.
I noticed that the same day I registered for the course the business charged my card.
I sent an email and got an automated response that I would be contacted in 48 hours. Till date I haven't received my refund or any correspondence from Shaw Academy regarding my refund.
I am seeking a full refund of funds taken (debited) from my card.
Dear student,
As per our records, your subscription was created on 26-May-2020 18:32. You are currently under 4 week trial and will only be charged at the end of the free trial on 23-Jun-2020.
You have purchased the "Toolkit for Professional Diploma in Leadership & Management Module 1" and the said charge was corresponding to this purchase.
Please contact us directly at ***@shawacademy.com for any assistance.

I only want a refund. With the virus going crazy around the world, I was gravely insulted that they shoved an extended membership i didn't want down my throat instead of giving me the refund I asked for. I just want some human compassion during these hard times. I need to put food on the table with that money.
Dear Student,

They finally made it right and refunded me. They should also educate, and hire people who will actually try to help instead of continually spouting the same script to the point of absolute rudeness.
I would like for them to delete my account and make sure that my card details are not to be charged.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.

As stated in the message, they have indeed cancelled the subscription
In March 2019 I paid for a online Masters course with SHAW. Never received it.
SHAW are saying it may happen or never happen. I want a refund.
A representeative named Vaughan replied this to me -
"Hi ***,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
We truly are sorry for the delay in launching our Masters Level Qualification. We are still in the process of finalizing the programs and ensuring that the Master Level Qualification is launched at the highest of the standard; unfortunately, this has taken us longer than expected; hence the delay.
We will be able to provide a further update in the coming months and expect to take enrolments in late 2020 or beyond and we cannot guarantee this.
What we can guarantee is we are overhauling all the courses as we speak and they are amazing. We are also launching lots of new courses in 2020 all at Professional Diploma Level.
Please continue to focus on your current studies with Shaw Academy and please contact us here if you have any additional questions.
Thanks for your understanding!
Your Friendly Neighborhood Shaw Academy Support Team.
Kind Regards,

I was charged May 19th $69.99 for a second month of Shaw Academy after emailing a complaint to cancel Shaw Academy membership on May 17th.
I emailed on May 16th to Shaw Academy support. In reply on May 19th, Gomez from Shaw Academy said the $69.99 membership in April could not be refunded, but reassured my membership is cancelled and gave 6-months free membership. On May 19th my online credit service it says I was charged another $69.99, totaling at $139.98 now.
I would like my card information to be removed from Shaw Academy to prevent further mishandling. I want a refund for the $69.99 charged on May 19th, not an extended membership.
Dear Student,
As per your request we have cancelled your subscription. Please be assured that you will not be charged way forward.
We have also processed your refund. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.

I have cancelled the card held by Shaw Academy. I will not receive refunds if done now. In about 10 days I get my new card and I will add PayPal to the sites information to furthermore safely manage payments.
I want the $69.99 refund processed on the earliest day possible.
Dear Student,
Our support team has informed that your refund has been processed as per your request. It will be credited back to your account within 5-7 business days.

Unauthorized Charge
Shaw Academy processed an unauthorized charge on my credit card after I had already cancelled my trial membership almost a month ago. When I log into my account, it shows that my membership is cancelled, so I am unsure why I was charged today.
I would like a refund

The only resolution that will satisfy my complaint is a full refund.
Dear student,

Shaw Academy asked me to email their priority support team for a resolution and not only have they not issued a refund, but they have also ignored my request and my emails.
Hi ***,
Apologies for the experience you have had thus far. I have reviewed your account and would like to confirm that your account has been successfully deactivated and the refund has was processed as on Jun 13th which will be credited back to the source in next 3-5 business days. Please let us know if any further assistance needed.

When I purchased their toolkit I was unaware of the extra hidden fees that Shaw Academy charges.
They initially advertise the course as free.

I would like the money I payed to Shaw Academy refunded and also to receive a confirmation that my account with them is closed. In addition, if that is possible I would like to see that Shaw Academy is forced to make all their fees noticeable to potential students before they actually subscribe and purchase anything from them, should they wish to continue with their business. Lots of people are complaining about having to go through a lot of hardship just to close their account or get a refund. This is such a waste of time, effort and for some people of a lot of their money, as some of them state that funds keep getting taken out of their account. Many thanks for uour support.

Well I need a refund of the money that was deducted from my card, I canceled my membership almost a day after I signed up, nor did I use the platform, you can verify that using the code that appears on my profile: XXXXX
