I signed for a 4 week free trial and 2 weeks in I was Charged $200. I never authorized this charge to be made. Shaw is denying this and won't refund
I signed up for a 4 week free trial to test out this program on 7/24/20.
It is 8/7/20, its only been two weeks. And I was charged $200 yesterday. After emailing shaw academy I was told that I "upgraded" to premium membership and that it was part of my agreement. But, I only ever agreed to a 4 week free trial. I never authorized any upgrade on my account and never requested anything to be changed on my account. The charge was processed mistakenly and incorrectly. And they need to refund this money to me ASAP. This is not right.
I DO NPT WANT THIS SERVICE. I WANT MY MOMEY REFUNDED AND MY ACCOUNT CANCELED.

Scam academy by creating lies and issue unaccredited certificate to students.
I have enrolled into their online studies program specific in nutrition since 4 months ago, this program will take for 4 months to complete and upon completion they claim that they will issue an advanced diploma certificate which is certified as EQF level 5 and is accepted globally.
Unfortunately, I completed my studies in this month and the certificate that they issued to me was just a normal plain certificate without any approval or acknowledgement from EQF. The moment I emailed them for answer, they just replied that they have removed EQF and pending accreditation from other academy. This is irresponsible as they should well inform students early. However, at the same time I still saw their advertising on social media facebook claiming that they still issue EQF certificate.
This is totally misleading and immoral as they cheated students and giving fake claim. I was disappointing as what I paid was not worth for what I have obtained at the end of my course. I spent money time and effort to complete my studies but ended up I was issued with a blank certificate and get different outcome.
As for reference, hereby I attached the evidence that they claim that they will issue EQF certificate at the end of the program. Also I attached along the certificate that I obtain without any accreditation from EQF. Plus I do attach their advertising on social media which still claim that they issue EQF certificate.

I appreciate for their study materials, hence instead of claiming full refund. I only hope that the academy will able to issue me back a 2 months refund and fully cancel my membership.

I have enrolled into this 4 months program and spent more than MYR400 in paying for the below items:
In average, each month I spent at least MYR200. In the end I only obtained a refund of MYR85. This is not logic and totally unacceptable. I am fine to pay for toolkit and assignment but I want to get back a full refund on my monthly subscription fees of at least MYR170 which I spent the most.
I have made this request very clear since in the beginning but this academy is constantly dragging my time and did not want to response to me clearly thru email. In short, poor communication which caused this matter to be delayed until today.
To be fair, I just want back my FULL REFUND on my monthly subscription fees which I have paid for at least MYR170. I will never close my case as long as I do not receive my relevant complete refund.

I am very disappointing to this academy, eventually they agreed to issue me a refund of MYR179 by giving me the relevant credit note .Out of sudden I just received an email from them saying that they are unable to issue me refund but will give me some sort of VIP access to their course.
I want to make things clear at here is that, early in the beginning I have requested to cancel all my memberships and removed all my personal details.They agreed by saying that my memberships will be ended but now they are telling me a different story whereby my details are still in their database and I can still gain access to their course.
This is confusing and ridiculous, this academy is constantly creating different stories and dragging my time. Not only me but even there a lot of victims out there experiencing the same terrific experience with this academy.
Again, my request is that I want a complete refund of MYR179.97 plus all my personal details to be removed from your database.
Hereby I enclosed the credit note which they promised that they will issue me refund but ended up they said cannot issue and I did not receive money from them as well.
Also I will attach along the their course materials showing that they are giving globally recognized EQF certificate but in reality they do not provide any accredited certificate to students. Lastly I will also attach the blank zero accredited certificate that I get from them after completing my 4 months program which proves that they mislead students and cheated my money.
Shaw Academy would not let me refund my $45.99 accidental purchase. I emailed them in a timely manner and received no response for my recent replies.
I recently signed up for the 4-week free online Digital Marketing course to only get a glimpse/sample of what this course was about. I just finished Lesson 1 and was trying to rewatch the Recording, and a few offers kept popping up on my screen, so instead of clicking the very small "x" button to close each of them, I accidentally pressed the one-click "purchase you ecertificate" located in very close proximity to the tiny "x" button.
I emailed them immediately (July 18/20), minutes after the accidental purchase of $45.99. They responded on July 20, and they saw my reason as not valid. I emailed them back, with the following mesage: "The ecertificate was an accidental purchase as I have previously explained how it happened. I emailed in a timely manner, minutes after the accidental purchase happened. I was planning to take it on a later date, as I really just want to do the free trial. Kindly refund my $45.99. I understand that it is a great deal, but my current work schedule does not permit me to do the online classes right now, and I have already missed the classes. I just want to stick with the free trial first. I have not accessed any of the courses yet, as per all the emails and texts messages I have been constantly receiving while at work."
After I sent this message, I received no reply. 7 days later, on Aug. 3, I emailed a follow-up message. It is now Aug.7, and they still have not replied. They do not have any other contact options aside from emailing them.
Their "one-click " offers are dangerous to click because they will charge your credit card immediately without first confirming if their customers really want to make that purchase. There should be a confirmation message saying, "Do you want to proceed with this offer?" before purchasing. This is unfair for their customers, especially if it is similar to my case which is an accidental purchase.
I would like to get a full refund of my accidental purchase of $45.99. I have not yet accessed any of the lessons included in the accidental purchase due to time constraints with my current work schedule.

After signing up for the 4 free week trial in early July, I abandoned the course as the content was not useful to me. On August 5th, I noticed a charge of 69.99 billed to my credit card from Shaw Academy. Upon seeing this I opted to cancel my membership expecting to be refunded the total.
After following the steps that the company requires to cancel the membership (including clicking several prompts indicating that I was no longer interested and a referral to a phone number in which you have to speak to an agent to complete the cancellation), I was told that if I didn't cancel before the end of the trial then I would be automatically billed and the amount would not be refunded.
Next, I emailed their billing email address with the appropriate documentation and recieved a response from Stephen. I explained to Stephen that I was unaware of this billing clause and I would like the amount refunded. After explaining he could not do that, I was offered 6 months of free access. After declining that offer I attempted to make efforts to resolve the issue with Stephen by asking what could be done to resolve this issue. After recieving no reply to that email I sent a follow up email asking if Shaw had abandoned delivering 100% customer satisfaction. Once again I did not receive a reply.

I was scammed by a one click Purchase button on shaw academy's website for a toolkit I didn't even want and haven't used.
I was emailed by shaw academy saying I hadn't been on my account for a while so they were going to give me "a reward" not specifying the reward. I Clicked on the link and it took me through to a pop on the website saying "get toolkit" with pricing underneath for something else. I clicked it and was charged 49.99. There was nothing to say it was one click purchase and no indication of the price.

No easy way to cancel membership causing to go over trial period and automatically enrolling in premium membership with payment.
There is no direct number to call the business and they are not responsive via email to address customer's concerns.
I signed up for a free 4week trial with Shaw Academy. My membership ends Aug 1,2020 (Saturday). I tried to cancel my membership on the website, but the cancellation process requires for me to call a number during certain business hours to confirm my cancellation request. (Our business hours are 9am - 5pm EST Monday to Friday).
On Aug 2,2020 (Sunday) a payment of $69.99 was automatically made to Shaw Academy for payment of Premium membership. That same day, I submitted a request on their website, through my account requesting for a membership cancellation and refund. An automated response was sent to my email, stating it could take up to 48hours for them to address my concern.
Aug 3,2020 (Monday) I called the number on the cancellation process. I told him I am confirming to cancel my membership and asked about the refund request that I submitted the day before. He said to wait for billing to review my request and they will respond to my inquiry. It has been more than 48 hours, I have tried to send a follow-up email but have not received any response. There is no other number to call or get in contact with the business.

They charged my PayPal for services never received and won't let me quit the program.
I signed up for the trial period. I was attending my first set of classes when I started receiving emails claiming that I wasn't attending the very class I was in. I contacted the "Academy" and they stated it was some mistake. But the emails continued. I canceled my membership and never went back. They continued to send me emails about classes I was missing despite having canceled the program. Then they charged my PayPal account for $69.99. I contacted them again and requested a refund along with a stop to all the emails. I was told that the matter was being looked into, however it has been more than a week now. I have attempted to quit three more times and have yet to see a refund. They continue to send me emails about missed classes and surveys about why I chose to leave the program. If I left the program and you want to know why, why are you still sending emails about classes and attendance?

I signed up for a free class with the impression that I could easily cancel before been charged. I logged on to cancel, only to find the process of canceling evasive and impossible from the website. The website said I need to call during business hours (which are EST which makes it difficult for me being a teacher in MST). I agreed to postpone renewal an classes for several months. I should mention that prior to this, I was receiving upwards of 5+ emails a day asking me to schedule classes and accept add on specials and certificates. After I attempted to cancel, the emails completely stopped. To my surprise, just a month later I was charged for a membership.
I have not taken advantage of an of the services at Shaw Academy except for the very first class, which was advertised as free.
After being charged, I immediately emailed the company and asked for a cancellation and refund. I heard nothing, and then received another email asking me to spend more money on their website.
I mentioned that if I didn't receive a refund and cancellation by today that I would leave a review.
Do yourself a favor and do no do business with this company. It is a very shady company and you can easily get similar education elsewhere. They really should be shut down. Completely dishonest. As a single mom on a very tight budget with limited time, I am furious with the was Shaw Academy has stolen my money and time.
Anything of value they offer has been tainted by their unethical and poor business tactics.

Makes money nefariously; poor customer service
I signed up for the 4-week trial membership. The same day that I signed up for the membership I was charged $65.99 because I accidentally hit a single button that charged me for the full subscription. There was no warning or alert that my card would be charged upon clicking this button. I did not want to cancel the free-trial and start the membership, and it was not made clear that by clicking this button that that was what I would be doing. I emailed their customer service (since there is no phone number), explained what happened and asked for a refund. At first the rep said I was charged because my trial period was over. I explained a second time to the rep what happened and that I mistakenly clicked something that charged me, and did not receive any alert, warning or indication that I would be charged. I then received a very condescending reply that one-click purchases are common because entering a card number for ever transaction can be "frustrating". He also said they could not issue a refund because my trial period was over? I replied a third time that my trial period was set to end August 27th (it was August 6th when I replied) and repeated that I understood it was a "one-click" purchase, but that there was no appropriate amount of warning that my card would be charged upon clicking this button.
I don't mind the lack of refund so much as the snooty, pompous and condescending representative named Justin with whom I was corresponding. Never have I felt so mis-treated and unjustly charged. I would not recommend this service to anyone, it was a horrible experience.

Signed up for a 28 day free trial period with Shaw Academy, they charged me before the trial was over and are refusing to refund!
Signed up to free 28 day trial on the 15/07/2020 with the condition being that after the 28 day trial period ended, I was to be charged a monthly fee to access their service.
Shaw academy first debited $1 from my paypal account on the 16/07 and then on the 03rd of August, debited $420 (the price of an annual membership!) from my account, well within the 28 day free trial period.
I cancelled the paypal billing agreement and my account on the 03rd of August when I realised they charged me outside the billing arrangement and sent Shaw Academy 2 emails asking them to refund the incorrectly charged amount immediately. I then emailed them again on the 04/08 when they failed to respond to my email. They responded at this time stating that I upgraded my account and that they do not issue refunds but would close my account and offer me 6 months 'complimentary' access! I responded stating that I at no time upgraded my account and demanded a refund to which I had no response. I emailed Paypal to advise there had been a charge made outside of my billing terms and they advised they would contact the organisation. I then received an email from Shaw Academy on the 5/08/20 again reiterating that they do not issue refunds but would offer my 12 months access to their service and a voucher to obtain a certificate. I again reiterated the terms on my contract, asked for a copy of my billing arrangement (for which I have not been able to obtain) and demanded a refund. I was sent a copy of the generic terms and conditions. In response, I asked again for my individual agreement, citing that their terms stated that I would not be charged until day 28 and asked for evidence to state if that date was otherwise. I have been encouraged to take a free online course with the Shaw Academy. First month was suppose to be free, although I have had to give them my PayPal account for any future purchases. Clicking on continue to view your course, with no information regarding a priced "toolkit" has the toolkit cost taken from your account.
I clicked on continue to look into my class, and I then found that a *toolkitwas paid for. There was nowhere they said "pay your toolkit now". I have contacted them through email, a number of times, contacted my bank, and going through the Financial Ombudsman because they need to be shut down.
I had a call from one of their people. I apologised because my rage wasn't at her, but the company. She said that my case would be sent to the billing dept for my refund, and she also gave me 6 months free access, which I told her time and time again that I did not want. I also asked for confirmation that this had been sent to the dept. I have not received this.

I never registered for an account or services with this company. I noticed that I have TWO payments that have been withdrawn from my account.
I do not know where this company received my card information, but they authorized $.50 on June 8 and have charged that card $69.99 for 2 consecutive months afterward. I had no login information with them and had to open an account just to go through the refund/cancellation process. At the end of the refund/cancellation process, there is a note to call a number to continue with the refund.
I was not able to reach an agent and would like ALL of my money returned to my account. There were no courses registered and nothing to support any claim that I registered for something.

I believe this company to be a scam and would like the refund of my money. There's a pandemic happening and I would not carelessly spend $140 on a marketing class. In good faith, please refund the fees taken from my account.

Unaware of charges for a service i've never used. I was charged double when I asked for a refund.
I signed up for what I thought was a free class. I tried it out and it seemed like a scam, so I didn't pursue any of their services and discontinued use of their website. I received an email recently saying that I missed a payment, so I went to see what I was being charged. It turns out that I had been charged several months in a row for a service I've never used on their site. When I reached out about it, I was told that someone would be with me in 48 hours. I never received a follow up and instead my card was charged twice on the 3rd.

I want a full refund of the money that I was tricked into paying.

Horribly run business and customer service. I had initially signed up for their premium membership renewable every six months and completely forgot about it (without using their services). They charged me without a reminder AND without telling me that the price went up a very significant amount. When I cancelled the service, literally two days after unexpectedly seeing the charge in my bank account, they would not refund me even though I've cancelled my membership and no longer have access nor do I want access to their online course materials. They kept trying to push unlimited lifetime membership on me to "remedy" the situation when I explicitly said I wanted my money back due to COVID hardships and that I don't want their classes. They were going to give me "free" lifetime access. What a joke! If you just took my money, it's not free. At this point, I want nothing to do with them. Thank goodness I disputed the charge with my bank and got my money back. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!!

Scam academy by creating lies and issue unaccredited certificate to students.
I have enrolled into their online studies program specific in nutrition since 4 months ago, this program will take for 4 months to complete and upon completion they claim that they will issue an advanced diploma certificate which is certified as EQF level 5 and is accepted globally.
Unfortunately, I completed my studies in this month and the certificate that they issued to me was just a normal plain certificate without any approval or acknowledgement from EQF. The moment I emailed them for answer, they just replied that they have removed EQF and pending accreditation from other academy. This is irresponsible as they should well inform students early. However, at the same time I still saw their advertising on social media facebook claiming that they still issue EQF certificate.
This is totally misleading and immoral as they cheated students and giving fake claim. I was disappointing as what I paid was not worth for what I have obtained at the end of my course. I spent money time and effort to complete my studies but ended up I was issued with a blank certificate and get different outcome.
As for reference, hereby I attached the evidence that they claim that they will issue EQF certificate at the end of the program. Also I attached along the certificate that I obtain without any accreditation from EQF. Plus I do attach their advertising on social media which still claim that they issue EQF certificate.
I appreciate for their study materials, hence instead of claiming full refund. I only hope that the academy will able to issue me back a 2 months refund and fully cancel my membership.

I have enrolled into this 4 months program and spent more than MYR400 in paying for the below items:

In average, each month I spent at least MYR200. In the end I only obtained a refund of MYR85. This is not logic and totally unacceptable. I am fine to pay for toolkit and assignment but I want to get back a full refund on my monthly subscription fees of at least MYR170 which I spent the most.
I have made this request very clear since in the beginning but this academy is constantly dragging my time and did not want to response to me clearly thru email. In short, poor communication which caused this matter to be delayed until today.

I am very disappointing to this academy, eventually they agreed to issue me a refund of MYR179 by giving me the relevant credit note .Out of sudden I just received an email from them saying that they are unable to issue me refund but will give me some sort of VIP access to their course.
I want to make things clear at here is that, early in the beginning I have requested to cancel all my memberships and removed all my personal details.They agreed by saying that my memberships will be ended but now they are telling me a different story whereby my details are still in their database and I can still gain access to their course.
This is confusing and ridiculous, this academy is constantly creating different stories and dragging my time. Not only me but even there a lot of victims out there experiencing the same terrific experience with this academy.
Again, my request is that I want a complete refund of MYR179.97 plus all my personal details to be removed from your database.
Hereby I enclosed the credit note which they promised that they will issue me refund but ended up they said cannot issue and I did not receive money from them as well.
Also I will attach along the their course materials showing that they are giving globally recognized EQF certificate but in reality they do not provide any accredited certificate to students. Lastly I will also attach the blank zero accredited certificate that I get from them after completing my 4 months program which proves that they mislead students and cheated my money.

I recently signed up for the 4-week free online Digital Marketing course to only get a glimpse/sample of what this course was about. I just finished Lesson 1 and was trying to rewatch the Recording, and a few offers kept popping up on my screen, so instead of clicking the very small "x" button to close each of them, I accidentally pressed the one-click "purchase you ecertificate" located in very close proximity to the tiny "x" button.
I emailed them immediately (July 18/20), minutes after the accidental purchase of $45.99. They responded on July 20, and they saw my reason as not valid. I emailed them back, with the following mesage: "The ecertificate was an accidental purchase as I have previously explained how it happened. I emailed in a timely manner, minutes after the accidental purchase happened. I was planning to take it on a later date, as I really just want to do the free trial. Kindly refund my $45.99. I understand that it is a great deal, but my current work schedule does not permit me to do the online classes right now, and I have already missed the classes. I just want to stick with the free trial first. I have not accessed any of the courses yet, as per all the emails and texts messages I have been constantly receiving while at work."
After I sent this message, I received no reply. 7 days later, on Aug. 3, I emailed a follow-up message. It is now Aug.7, and they still have not replied. They do not have any other contact options aside from emailing them.
Their "one-click " offers are dangerous to click because they will charge your credit card immediately without first confirming if their customers really want to make that purchase. There should be a confirmation message saying, "Do you want to proceed with this offer?" before purchasing. This is unfair for their customers, especially if it is similar to my case which is an accidental purchase.
I would like to get a full refund of my accidental purchase of $45.99. I have not yet accessed any of the lessons included in the accidental purchase due to time constraints with my current work schedule.

No clear indication that you will be billed after the 4 week free trial unless you unsubscribe before the trial ends
After signing up for the 4 free week trial in early July, I abandoned the course as the content was not useful to me. On August 5th, I noticed a charge of 69.99 billed to my credit card from Shaw Academy. Upon seeing this I opted to cancel my membership expecting to be refunded the total.
After following the steps that the company requires to cancel the membership (including clicking several prompts indicating that I was no longer interested and a referral to a phone number in which you have to speak to an agent to complete the cancellation), I was told that if I didn't cancel before the end of the trial then I would be automatically billed and the amount would not be refunded.
Next, I emailed their billing email address with the appropriate documentation and recieved a response from Stephen. I explained to Stephen that I was unaware of this billing clause and I would like the amount refunded. After explaining he could not do that, I was offered 6 months of free access. After declining that offer I attempted to make efforts to resolve the issue with Stephen by asking what could be done to resolve this issue. After recieving no reply to that email I sent a follow up email asking if Shaw had abandoned delivering 100% customer satisfaction. Once again I did not receive a reply.

I was scammed by a one click Purchase button on shaw academy's website for a toolkit I didn't even want and haven't used.
I was emailed by shaw academy saying I hadn't been on my account for a while so they were going to give me "a reward" not specifying the reward. I Clicked on the link and it took me through to a pop on the website saying "get toolkit" with pricing underneath for something else. I clicked it and was charged 49.99. There was nothing to say it was one click purchase and no indication of the price.

No easy way to cancel membership causing to go over trial period and automatically enrolling in premium membership with payment.
There is no direct number to call the business and they are not responsive via email to address customer's concerns.
I signed up for a free 4week trial with Shaw Academy. My membership ends Aug 1,2020 (Saturday). I tried to cancel my membership on the website, but the cancellation process requires for me to call a number during certain business hours to confirm my cancellation request. (Our business hours are 9am - 5pm EST Monday to Friday).
On Aug 2,2020 (Sunday) a payment of $69.99 was automatically made to Shaw Academy for payment of Premium membership. That same day, I submitted a request on their website, through my account requesting for a membership cancellation and refund. An automated response was sent to my email, stating it could take up to 48hours for them to address my concern.
Aug 3,2020 (Monday) I called the number on the cancellation process. I told him I am confirming to cancel my membership and asked about the refund request that I submitted the day before. He said to wait for billing to review my request and they will respond to my inquiry. It has been more than 48 hours, I have tried to send a follow-up email but have not received any response. There is no other number to call or get in contact with the business.

They charged my PayPal for services never received and won't let me quit the program.
I signed up for the trial period. I was attending my first set of classes when I started receiving emails claiming that I wasn't attending the very class I was in. I contacted the "Academy" and they stated it was some mistake. But the emails continued. I canceled my membership and never went back. They continued to send me emails about classes I was missing despite having canceled the program. Then they charged my PayPal account for $69.99. I contacted them again and requested a refund along with a stop to all the emails. I was told that the matter was being looked into, however it has been more than a week now. I have attempted to quit three more times and have yet to see a refund. They continue to send me emails about missed classes and surveys about why I chose to leave the program. If I left the program and you want to know why, why are you still sending emails about classes and attendance?

Refusal to cancel subscription, predatory approach and lack of response at attempts to contact the company.
I signed up for a free class with the impression that I could easily cancel before been charged. I logged on to cancel, only to find the process of canceling evasive and impossible from the website. The website said I need to call during business hours (which are EST which makes it difficult for me being a teacher in MST). I agreed to postpone renewal an classes for several months. I should mention that prior to this, I was receiving upwards of 5+ emails a day asking me to schedule classes and accept add on specials and certificates. After I attempted to cancel, the emails completely stopped. To my surprise, just a month later I was charged for a membership.
I have not taken advantage of an of the services at Shaw Academy except for the very first class, which was advertised as free.
After being charged, I immediately emailed the company and asked for a cancellation and refund. I heard nothing, and then received another email asking me to spend more money on their website.
I mentioned that if I didn't receive a refund and cancellation by today that I would leave a review.
Do yourself a favor and do no do business with this company. It is a very shady company and you can easily get similar education elsewhere. They really should be shut down. Completely dishonest. As a single mom on a very tight budget with limited time, I am furious with the was Shaw Academy has stolen my money and time.
Anything of value they offer has been tainted by their unethical and poor business tactics.

Makes money nefariously; poor customer service
I signed up for the 4-week trial membership. The same day that I signed up for the membership I was charged $65.99 because I accidentally hit a single button that charged me for the full subscription. There was no warning or alert that my card would be charged upon clicking this button. I did not want to cancel the free-trial and start the membership, and it was not made clear that by clicking this button that that was what I would be doing. I emailed their customer service (since there is no phone number), explained what happened and asked for a refund. At first the rep said I was charged because my trial period was over. I explained a second time to the rep what happened and that I mistakenly clicked something that charged me, and did not receive any alert, warning or indication that I would be charged. I then received a very condescending reply that one-click purchases are common because entering a card number for ever transaction can be "frustrating". He also said they could not issue a refund because my trial period was over? I replied a third time that my trial period was set to end August 27th (it was August 6th when I replied) and repeated that I understood it was a "one-click" purchase, but that there was no appropriate amount of warning that my card would be charged upon clicking this button.
I don't mind the lack of refund so much as the snooty, pompous and condescending representative named Justin with whom I was corresponding. Never have I felt so mis-treated and unjustly charged. I would not recommend this service to anyone, it was a horrible experience.

Signed up for a 28 day free trial period with Shaw Academy, they charged me before the trial was over and are refusing to refund!
Signed up to free 28 day trial on the 15/07/2020 with the condition being that after the 28 day trial period ended, I was to be charged a monthly fee to access their service.
Shaw academy first debited $1 from my paypal account on the 16/07 and then on the 03rd of August, debited $420 (the price of an annual membership!) from my account, well within the 28 day free trial period.
I cancelled the paypal billing agreement and my account on the 03rd of August when I realised they charged me outside the billing arrangement and sent Shaw Academy 2 emails asking them to refund the incorrectly charged amount immediately. I then emailed them again on the 04/08 when they failed to respond to my email. They responded at this time stating that I upgraded my account and that they do not issue refunds but would close my account and offer me 6 months 'complimentary' access! I responded stating that I at no time upgraded my account and demanded a refund to which I had no response. I emailed Paypal to advise there had been a charge made outside of my billing terms and they advised they would contact the organisation. I then received an email from Shaw Academy on the 5/08/20 again reiterating that they do not issue refunds but would offer my 12 months access to their service and a voucher to obtain a certificate. I again reiterated the terms on my contract, asked for a copy of my billing arrangement (for which I have not been able to obtain) and demanded a refund. I was sent a copy of the generic terms and conditions. In response, I asked again for my individual agreement, citing that their terms stated that I would not be charged until day 28 and asked for evidence to state if that date was otherwise. I have been encouraged to take a free online course with the Shaw Academy. First month was suppose to be free, although I have had to give them my PayPal account for any future purchases. Then there was a pop-up window asking, if I want to purchase a Module Toolkit. I have clicked X sign, although it took me to the confirmation of the purchase! 49,99 pounds has been taken from my account. I have contacted them on email, they said I purchased it deribately. I have never even download this Module and I canceled my account. No furter answer from them, their phone number is not answering.

Clicking on continue to view your course, with no information regarding a priced "toolkit" has the toolkit cost taken from your account.
I clicked on continue to look into my class, and I then found that a *toolkitwas paid for. There was nowhere they said "pay your toolkit now". I have contacted them through email, a number of times, contacted my bank, and going through the Financial Ombudsman because they need to be shut down.
I had a call from one of their people. I apologised because my rage wasn't at her, but the company. She said that my case would be sent to the billing dept for my refund, and she also gave me 6 months free access, which I told her time and time again that I did not want. I also asked for confirmation that this had been sent to the dept. I have not received this.

I would like a refund of this. I would also like my account and all my details to be deleted as per GDPR, including name, email, payment details, before any more charges come from my account. I would also like this scam of a company to be shut.

I never registered for an account or services with this company. I noticed that I have TWO payments that have been withdrawn from my account.
I do not know where this company received my card information, but they authorized $.50 on June 8 and have charged that card $69.99 for 2 consecutive months afterward. I had no login information with them and had to open an account just to go through the refund/cancellation process. At the end of the refund/cancellation process, there is a note to call a number to continue with the refund.
I was not able to reach an agent and would like ALL of my money returned to my account. There were no courses registered and nothing to support any claim that I registered for something.

I have no recollection of registering for any class. I maintain that I did not, as evidenced by the fact that there's nothing on my profile. No classes. No personal information, etc.
I believe this company to be a scam and would like the refund of my money. There's a pandemic happening and I would not carelessly spend $140 on a marketing class. In good faith, please refund the fees taken from my account.

Unaware of charges for a service i've never used. I was charged double when I asked for a refund.
I signed up for what I thought was a free class. I tried it out and it seemed like a scam, so I didn't pursue any of their services and discontinued use of their website. I received an email recently saying that I missed a payment, so I went to see what I was being charged. It turns out that I had been charged several months in a row for a service I've never used on their site. When I reached out about it, I was told that someone would be with me in 48 hours. I never received a follow up and instead my card was charged twice on the 3rd.
I want a full refund of the money that I was tricked into paying.

Horribly run business and customer service. I had initially signed up for their premium membership renewable every six months and completely forgot about it (without using their services). They charged me without a reminder AND without telling me that the price went up a very significant amount. When I cancelled the service, literally two days after unexpectedly seeing the charge in my bank account, they would not refund me even though I've cancelled my membership and no longer have access nor do I want access to their online course materials. They kept trying to push unlimited lifetime membership on me to "remedy" the situation when I explicitly said I wanted my money back due to COVID hardships and that I don't want their classes. They were going to give me "free" lifetime access. What a joke! If you just took my money, it's not free. At this point, I want nothing to do with them. Thank goodness I disputed the charge with my bank and got my money back. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!!
