I have had a clothes washer malfunction since the end of JulyThe first two visits, the contract provider, [redacted] Appliances replaced, parts, that did not fix the problemThe next two visits, I was told they could not duplicate the problem, despite their being wet clothesin the washers, with water still in the machineThe fifth visit, and third tech said the same thing, but said to find the problem the machine had to go to the shopThe supervisor denied this, and when I offered to have it done here she also told the tech no(I overheard discussion that he had two more places) I contacted FHW company, and their supervisor said this wasn't in my contract, and I read the contract and have seen that yes, they can't take it to the shop, BUT nothing about doing the required work to duplicate the issue

Fidelity Warranty has horrendous, disrespectful "customer service" I had called to request plumbing services per my contract and when the plumber arrived at my location, they spent less than minutes and rendered no services and then left They informed me that no charge would be made to Fidelity home warranty I confirmed with the plumbing company that no charges were made and that a waiver of the $service charge made to me by Fidelity was usually made However when I called Fidelity after receiving the $bill to request the waiver I was treated with abrupt, rude, and disrespect I had asked the supervisor [redacted] yesterday at 3:10pm to escalate my request and he flat out refused which is something I've never experienced I have been a customer of Fidelity's for over years at times with multiple properties and am appalled by the lack of regards for a loyal customer

I had condos where I used Fidelity home warranty for over years Their contractors were ok, but on several occasions I had problems with billing, but the final problem takes the cake When I renewed my last contract, I knew I would be moving, and was told that my yearly payment would be prorated and returned to me if I cancelled early No one ever told me about the additional service fee If you have to cancel your contract, you are charged all of the money they spent on your items during that year of the contract This means, if you had ANY work done, you probably won't be receiving any money back I spoke with people when I renewed and let them know I would be moving within the year You would think SOMEONE could have mentioned that Because of what I see as underhanded business practices, I could not recommend this business [redacted]

I have been waiting on an evaporator coil for ~weeks I live in, it’s ~deg I was offered a dollar voucher for window units at [redacted] Please help me identify the [redacted] that has window units for that price? I have children and elderly parents that are suffering from the heat and FMHW wants to give me dollars for window units I’m on the third company for the evaporator coil If dollars will buy window units, why can’t it buy an evaporator coil

I requested service from Fidelity National regarding my air conditionerThey sent a contractor to diagnose the problemThe contractor stated that the unit was low on refrigerantThe contractor proceeded to charge the unit with R-407C refrigerantThe condensing unit is designed for R-and contains R-chargeManufacturer's data is very clear that refrigerants cannot be blended and damage to the unit and reduced performance are the outcome of doing soAdding R-407C into a system that has not gone through the process of proper refrigerant and oil replacement are subject to premature failure and reduced performance as statedOnce my home warranty is out, and my compressor fails, I will then be forced to pay from my pocket the damage that Fidelity has causedFidelity is trying to lay blame to the contractor for thisHowever, [redacted] (at Fidelity), specifically mentioned that it is Fidelity's policy to allow this blending of refrigerants (against all manufacturer recommendations)H

I had filed a complaint [redacted] with Revdex.com but the response received from the business was not satisfactoryI had to be out of town unfortunately and could not respond back to Revdex.com complaint within the time period due to which the complaint was closed The response received states that the service fee applies even if the warranty does not cover the repairOur contract did not have coverage for solar panelsWe however confirmed with the service rep regarding the repair and that it only involved fixing a pipe and was not on the solar or in the roofAfter initial assessment and discussions, the service was requestedWe do feel that the contract terms was misused and exploited by requesting a service for an ambiguous repair issue

I had a service request for our water heater and toilets in September, work order # [redacted] They came out and advised the issue with the water heater was not coveredI called in and inquired about the issue as they said the popping noise wasn't coveredI informed them along with the popping noise the water temperature will change from hot to cold to hot to cold and it doesn't heat properlyThe customer service representative advised if there is a heating issue which is causing it not to heat properly it may be covered but they would have to send someone else out to inspect itI inquired if there would be a charge and they said no because it is related to the first issuesThey said if it was something that is completely different issue then there would beThe plumber came out and inspected it and the result was that it was a direct correlation to the first issue so it was not covered as wellI since then have received a 2nd invoice for the service call which I was informed if i

Home warranty work on a Thermador stove/oven resulted in the company deciding to offer substantially inferior product than repairing the unit November 2015, two burners on stove top malfunctioned The home warranty company sent a repair person out to repair the unit The first visit resulted in a determination additional parts were needed Two months passed and no work continued After repeated calls, the home warranty sent out the same company to repair the unit During this repair, the applicance service company apparently broke a line but did not inform us A few hours laters my wife noticed a strong gas smell and we immediately contacted the warranty company A second repair company was sent out and concluded additional repairs were needed Due to the negligence of the first repair, the stove/oven was determine to need significant additional repair The warranty company offered to replace a $stove/oven for an oven costing less than $ The company showed no con

Please read the following letter that I submitted to [redacted] after first speaking with the company and not receiving assistancePlease note that the date on the mailed warranty is April 12, 2018, but, the warranty start date on the contract was October 27, [redacted] Good Morning, On March 23, 2018, while both of our air conditioning unit’s ducts were being cleaned, we were shown, by the repairman that both units contained mold and were in urgent need of replacementImmediately, we allowed the repairman to replace both unitsThe invoice for the total cost of the two HV&C unit replacements is attached, below ( [redacted] ***.) We did not receive any explicit information concerning our home warranty specifications (Contract Number: [redacted] ) until sometime after the date of April 12, (listed at the bottom of page 1, in an attachment which is included belo

I am filing a complaint as the sales associates for the warranty company lied about the coverage their warranty policy in order to get my service payment of $ [redacted] Fidelity National Home Warranty was notified that I had [redacted] and the manifold/maniblock connectors were leakingMy husband and I spoke with several Sales/Customer services associates to explain the plumbing issue and they confirmed that the manifold/maniblock was covered under warrantyWe confirmed this with several employees as we did not want to be charged $ [redacted] for a service fee for an item that was not covered under warrantyAll sales/customer service representatives we spoke with assured us that the manifold/maniblock was coveredThe company was fully aware of the issue as they had to contract several different plumbing companies in order to come to the house as they were not suited for this type of workEach time a work order was made, we spoke to the contracted plumber and repeated the issue wit

Our upstairs A/C stopped working in March 2017, we immediately called Fidelity to make a claim to get someone out to fix itAfter call after call and wait after wait they finally send [redacted] out [redacted] diagnosed the problem as being the coil and recommended replacing itIt took an additional months for them to come do the work, in which I had to call them to find out what was going on and they proceeded to ask me for the serial numbers to order an air handler (this is the first I had heard of an air handler, they did not even know what model unit I had, when they had already been here and diagnosed the issue, which then was supposedly the coil)They finally came to fix the A/C, which was May 24th While they were here they told us that the previous people that had the house wired it wrong and they needed to re-wire itTo put things in perspective, our furnace runs on GasThey and Fidelity took it upon themselves to convert our furnace from gas to electric withou

Hardly ever use their serviceCosts around ***$ a yearI make one service call cause my A/C isn't running properlyGuy comes out from Fidelity Proceeds to tell me the reason is this, and its not covered Wants his **$ for his HUGE advice and ZERO serviceCLEARLY, my A/C doesn't work and wasn't fixedI have two portable units in my house to JUST to help the crappy central A/CAs well, I bought new windows and doors, and the A/C still can't keep up Lies, rip off, and scam like [redacted]

This is in regards to Contract [redacted] Part of the work order was to resolve an issue with my [redacted] refrigerator, which is having an issue with the water dispenser (noisy, uneven flow) and change filter indicator light (will not go off and sounds an alarm to change the filter even though it's been replaced )On/Around 2/20/- I submitted a service request using Fidelity's online service request toolIt has very limited options, which does not include issues for the water dispenser even though this is a covered part as stated in the contractOn/Around 3/16/- [redacted] , the dispatched servicer, identified potential issues--a faulty water valve and control boardI was informed that due to the construction of my house the water valve could not be fixed [redacted] recommended to replace or repair the control boardA replacement was not possible due to the part being unavailable so the alternative was a repair which they advised could take

Fidelity dispatched a [redacted] to diagnose a slab leak in our homeFidelity paid [redacted] over $ [redacted] for the service (which was deducted from our insured limit of [redacted] ) [redacted] refused to provide us with a written report of their diagnosis so that we could proceed with a claim on our homeowner's insuranceAs a result, we have been unable to move forward for the last two weeks and the leak under our home is growing worseWe requested a credit back from Fidelity for what they paid [redacted] so that we can engage another plumber to properly perform a diagnosis and write a report for our insurance companyFidelity has refused to pay, citing that they already paid the vendorTheir dispute is with their vendor, not with meMy funds were used to pay for a service that I did not receive, and I am formally requesting a credit back from Fidelity

Be prepared for lots of time and aggravation when dealing with [redacted] Wait times are in excess of minutes in the times of calledIn addition both times they have serviced my washing machine and air conditioner they have not been able to repair the problem in one visitI will not be renewing on any of my three properties

We have had home warranty from another organization before, and we were used to competent service and accountability Not so with Fidelity Home WarrantyOn several occasions, they have sent out incompetent organizations to find a problem, couldn't figure out to solve the problem and only then informed us that it was out of scopeIn just one instance (a lighting issue), we then retained a competent organization to find and correct the addresses it and located the problem in a location that had been missed and was well within scopeWhen we called to ask Fidelity to cover it, they said they don't address those issues over the phone On another occasion, our bedroom air conditioning stopped working in the midst of a sweltering summerSomeone came out, said he realized he needed to use a ladder and needed an additional person to come to address the problem and leftWhen we asked someone to come by soon, they waited another 2-weeksAnd then Fidelity said that we owed it for the first visit in which the guy without the ladder did nothingWe then were told that the charge for that original non-visit would go down as a denial of payment, affecting our credit rating Fidelity seems like an ironic name for this organization, and I would encourage others to stay as far from this company as it possobly can

I experienced an electrical issue in my home and requested assistance from Fidelity in sending a contractor out to resolveThey sent out a company called [redacted] and the technician did a quick inspection and said that he could either locate the issue and repair the connection but I could run the risk of it happening again in 5-years because the circuits included aluminum wiring or he could re-wire an entire section of my kitchen with better materialThe technician didn't do more than open a few receptacles and quickly concluded that the best option would be to re-wireI assumed that my Home Warranty would have covered the re-wire, so I advised him to go that routeApparently, he provided his report to Fidelity and they immediately called me to advise they would not cover it because it was considered an upgrade because my current circuitry was inadequateI declined and asked them to send the same technician back out to repair the connection based on his initial advis

[redacted] warranty is only partially covering the cost of a non functioning water heaterthe contracted plumbing company that they use told us they determined the pricing of everything in the repair so they have no quote input at allthey say modifications need to happen that our out of our control and we owe over dollars in non covered itemsthey say the home warranty is not covering the whole repairmy wife called and they said they were covering the repair and later was told they were not covering it all by the 3rd party plumbing companyI spoke to a supervisor that was compassionate and unhelpful with the issuetold me she does not have any leadership to talk to to resolve the issue that are above her as the end user of the warranty not having a whole repair covered in an emergency is a hardship that creates issues that are not needed, all I am asking is that they do the right thing and cover my repair like a home warranty should
