Purchased coop/condo in [redacted] in July and purchased home warranty from Fidelity as component of the saleAir Conditioning is failing and blowing condensation out of the bathroom ventPaid Fidelity the $service fee and their AC contractor stated that the AC was improperly installed and requires an additional return air ventThe contract clearly states failure due to improper installation is covered yet Fidelity is refusing to cover it [redacted] with Fidelity on June 14th talked to her supervisor and they agreed this was a covered issue and approved itSince then apparently someone else within the company reviewed and reversed that decisionThey went as far as having their contractor document that it was improper design instead of improper installation even though he stood in my living room and stated it was improper installation

Home Warranty Issue! Contract [redacted] with Fidelity National Home WarrantyAddress: [redacted] Here are the facts of this issue: Client Mr [redacted] with Policy # [redacted] I called Fidelity National Home Warranty a few days prior to a technician, [redacted] from [redacted] , showed up to fix the plumbing/faucet issues in the house on December 14, He placed a new chrome faucet in the kitchen sinkFor the two other bathrooms faucets, he told me that he needed to order partsThen I never heard back from himSo I called FIDELITY and got an appointment for Friday December 30, from to I called again at around 10am to make sure someone would come and [redacted] from the company told him that the technician was still in the office at that timeThe technician did not show upI called to express his disappointment to why they said they would come, and they did not show up, without communicatingSo my client showed up late at work as he was wai

Fidelity National Home Warranty is a horrible company to do business with if you live outside of [redacted] The company makes no real attempt to add in-service vendors in other areas outside of [redacted] We bought our home in [redacted] two years ago and the first year of home warranty through Fidelity was purchased and paid for by our mortgage companySix months after buying our home, we suffered a severe sewer line blockage that backed up into our yard and our house by way of our washer flow/drain lineOf course this horrible issue would arise right before a holidayI called Fidelity's number to request a service call and have it listed as an "emergency" service callI called Fidelity early in the day, the day before a holidayI spent all day trying to get a plumber sent out, but Fidelity was fighting it because the only in-service vendor was over miles awayNow the fact that Fidelity has only managed to acquire one in-service vendor in my area is their issue, not mine! Why I should be refused a service call because they are too cheap to pay the vendor they acquired is beyond meI spent all day and all evening arguing with Fidelity, until it got so late I knew I was out of luckFidelity evidently has zero issue leaving a family without toilets, showers, washing capabilities at all overnight because they do not want to pay their own in service vendorsEarly the next day (the holiday), I began haggling with Fidelity again to get us a plumberBy the time I finally lost my patience and demanded a manager, and finally convinced them to pay for the plumber, it was not only holiday hours, but it was also after hoursAdd the cost of mileage as well, and it cost them just shy of $Had they sent the plumber the day before when I first called it would have been $Real smart on Fidelity's partFlash ahead to today (December 22) and we have another sewer line back upI called Fidelity at 4pm and finally lost my patience and temper at 8pmFidelity is absolutely refusing to pay the after hours/ mileage fees for the plumber to come and snake out my sewer lineFidelity still only has the one in-service vendor in my area and they refuse to pay mileage for the one and only vendor they have to offer! How exactly does this work? I finally lost it and hung up after I told the supervisor I hoped she could sleep well after leaving a family of four without toilets and showers over Christmas holiday and the woman had the idiocy to say I had threatened her, insinuating she should stay awake because I was going to come looking for herI have never heard of such ridiculousnessI live in ***, she is in [redacted] and I am a grown woman and do not engage in such immature bs! I am demanding the remainder of my warranty fees be reimbursed because I refuse to deal with this company any longerA company is only as good as the customer service they provideFidelity has horrible business practices and they employ supervisors that make childish and ridiculous accusations when they do not have a decent response to why their company is screwing over it's customersHow dare they charge me $a year for warranty coverage and then refuse to pay the only in-service vendor they have for me to use! That is just absolutely ridiculousFidelity also does not have an in-service AC/ heater repair vendor in my area, so I have had to pay out of pocket to hire my own vendor, then wait almost weeks for reimbursement from FidelityI am done with this company and I would suggest to anyone looking for a warranty company to do some serious research before buying you warranty through Fidelity!

We have been with Fidelity for almost years and have had our fridge fixed times and this time they are denying our claimThe first time they fixed it the fridge wasn't working it wasn't coldWe called for service and they send out a company and I cant look them up on the website because it only goes back a yearthey fixed then and now the same thing is happing and its not cold and they send out a company [redacted] and he said it needs a compositor or somethingWe find out that Fidelity is denying this and we have done nothing to the fridge and they have a bogus reason why they are denying it

We purchased a home on Feb 28,Our AC unit went out about months after buying our homeWe went through our home owners insurance fidelityThey quickly denied us a new unit long story short after fighting it they over turned the denial and agreed to get us a new unit with the condition of us paying for the labor cost which was about [redacted] out of pocketWe were not happy about it but desprate and paid for itWell months after the new unit got installed it went out on usWe contacted fidelity paid our [redacted] dollar fee for someone to come out to tell us it is no longer workingThe compressor and the coil went bad! August is the day our AC unit went out it is now Oct and we have been out of our home (my husband,I and ourchildren) we keep getting the run around and nothing is getting doneWe feel like we have been slapped in the face by fidelity and forgotten aboutWe desperately want our AC unit fixed and want to be back homeWe are to the point where we are

As of January Fidelity has been to my rental unit in [redacted] at least times to provide repairs to a 30+ year old AC unitAfter they fix the unit, it stops working and it takes another call and fee to get them out there againThe multiple visits to the property lack of providing a proper fix is causing great inconvenience to my Tenants, Property Manager and Myself, that is not to mention the costs of each service call and the potential safety issue that this old unit may presentI have been with Fidelity for more than years and my contract number is [redacted]

Bought a new home and moved in 6-28-Air conditioner stopped working 7-8-I filed a claim with Fidelity 7-10-They sent a Tech out 7-12-He determined that the compressor and wiring need to be replacedThe following Monday I call Fidelity and stayed on hold for hours to find out that they are denying my claimThey said because it was under days (clearly it is not) and the Tech couldn't determine if the condition was pre-existing or notI told [redacted] that we had proof that it was working when we had the inspection done and prior records from the service contractShe said I could contest it and sent the link to fill out and attach documents of proofI supplied a letter from the Service contract of the Previous owner showing it was serviced and was in good working order June of I also have my home inspection that shows it was in good working orderI also sent an email to their customer service department with my claim number and asked them for a contact numb

Fidelity National Home Warranty has the worst customer service!!! I called them to submit a ticket for my non working dishwasher, the tech from LA appliances came in and said He would submit the part needed to Fidelity.....I never heard back from them so I called and Fidelity said they had not receive any request yet but they would find out and they would call me backI never received a call back from them so I emailed them and first they said that the service was reported completed and the ticket closed, how in the world could that be possible if they havent fixed anything, I emailed them back again to Let them know nothing has been repaired and Fidelity said the claim was denied because of liability #( like Im supposed to know what the hell that is).....I cannot believed my $for the tech to come out to basically do nothing....Beware of their scams

This was sent via email to the company on 24th July - no response was receivedWe have been a contract holder for many year - last week we had some major issues with our hot tub – we noticed it started leaking and was mixing the leaking water with the electric circuit boards and I wasn’t able to shut it downI was very worried we would have a fireI called your Fidelity National Home Warranty to report it and get it fixed but I wasn’t able to get anybody on the phone – I was kept on hold for minutes the first time and then had to hang up to attend to my kids, called back and was kept on the phone for 90mins and had to hang up, then tried a 3rd time that day and was on hold for 60mins - they did pick up and the line immediately disconnected ! I was unable to report it and the problem was getting worseNot knowing what else to do I called the local company that services our hot tub [redacted] – they sent an engineer over within 90mins and he diagnosed a faulty air intake

We called due to our [redacted] washerWe advised them what type of washer we hadThe first technician they sent out was not even trained to handle our washer and could not do the service; after I had taken off the day for them to handle thisThey sent the ticket to another company and I again took time off for the to 1pm windowAt 1:I call and am told that their tech had an emergency and they had just not gotten around to call me yetI call fidelity and ask for them to refund the service fee as a courtesy and they declinedThey initially said the 2nd guy would call me back in a day or so to rescheduleI told them that was not acceptableThey then asked if I wanted them to call around and of course I said yesJust got the word I have to wait an additional days before this 3rd tech can be sent out

This was hands down the worst business service I have ever experiencedCustomer service was atrociously frustrating, their technicians were incompetent, the repairs preformed were sub-standard (and downright dangerous!) and their overall business practices were nothing short of deceptiveWe had three basic issues with my home that were covered under our warranty with Fidelity - a main service shut off valve that needed to be replaced, a leak in the basement ceiling, and not enough hot water for two people to shower at the same timeWe called and our first encounter with them was greatThey were responsive and said they would send a tech out the next day to assess the situation and see what would be needed to make the repairsIt was downhill from thereThe tech they sent advised us that we needed a new water heater, but couldn't determine the source of the other leakHe also said that they could replace the main service valve if water service was shut off to the property, and then tried to upsell me to install a PRV (an $part that he quoted me $to install.) When I asked him what he thought the leak in the basement ceiling could be, he advised me to cut the section of pipe out that appeared to be leaking because "you probably don't need it." The pipe in question was the fresh water supply line to my master bath toiletI was not impressedRight about then is where I should have told them to get out of my house, but figured we’d ultimately save money having them replace the water heater and main service valve (since I could then work on the plumbing myself once it was replaced.) After informing him that we’d only like them to address the water heater and main shutoff valve replacement, the tech said he'd have to get a master plumber out to do the actual repairs and guaranteed us $out of pocket costs to do bothWe agreed and he left after saying that "he'll call [Fidelity] and get them to schedule a tech to do the workAlmost a week passed with no word from the companyI called to follow up and the rep on the line said they "had no record of speaking with us before." I ended up having to call the tech's personal cell phone (which he had given to me in case of emergency because of the leak) to get him to fill the customer service rep in and confirm the price we agreed uponAll this while trying to hold down my to So, after another day of back and forth on the phone, I confirmed the price guarantee with customer service and scheduled an appointment for the master plumber to come out and make the repairsThe master plumber arrived on time the morning of the scheduled repair and proceeded to tear the old water heater outOnly AFTER the old water heater was removed did he inform me that it would cost $to make the repairsI explained to him that they had already sent a tech out to quote us a price and we had agreed to $His response was to “call the company.” So here we are, without running water, and now the company decides to tell us that costs have increased beyond the agreed upon priceI felt like nothing short of extortionI spent over two hours on the phone with several customer service reps, getting bounced around and put on hold for extended periods of time (over min at one point) only to be told that our only options were to pay the $or have the tech put the old water heater back in I refused saying that the agreed upon price was all that I'd payThey would not budgeIt wasn’t until after I told them that I would be filing a formal complaint with the Revdex.com and refused payment (which I will definitely be doing) that they decided that they might be able to come down on the price to $or give us a $check to have the repairs performed by another plumberThis was absolutely ridiculous, as this would leave us with no running water and hundreds of dollars out of pocketAt this point I just wanted them out of my house and needed running waterI told them to just do the repair and get outThe plumber proceeded to install the hot water heater and main shutoff valve but couldn't finish the job before having to leave to go to a “higher priority appointment” per his dispatcherTheir advice was to turn the water on to the property and check for leaks and call them if there were any that we noticedSo now we are $over agreed upon price, with no working hot water and the plumber simply leavesI turned on the main so we could have running water for the night and every single one of the connections he made was leaking steadily - all of the connections were only hand tight! Upon closer inspection, I noticed he left the gas valve COMPLETELY OPEN (with no pilot light on) right next to our furnaceHad I not checked and the furnace turned on over night, he could have killed my entire familyI ended up stopping the leaks myselfI called the company again that night to tell them that I would not be paying for the service and their response was that “legally I am liable to pay.” After all that, they had the sand to threaten legal action to collect paymentTo say that I am unsatisfied is an understatementTake whatever money you are considering spending on a home warranty though this company and invest it in something useful – like a Faberge egg or North Korean currencyTo date I have received no response from the company

I wish there were a way to give zero starsI am the landlord of a condo and have had Fidelity for about yearsOver the years they have been fantastic if you consider putting bandaids on equipment good serviceMy most recent experience however borders on callous, hearltless and pure crookeryWe have had them out multiple times for an a/c unit freezing up due to lack of FreonEach time they will only authorize a Freon fill (which clearly is over the limit of the amount of Freon allowed to be used on one unit prescribed by the EPA)Each time they have sent somebody out I have been told that the unit needs to be replaced as there are multiple leaks and the coil is rusted and brittleYesterday had the same story from a tech but Fidelity refused to allow him to do more than fill it with FreonBig joke!!!! The tech actually told me that this happens all the time with them until they wear the policy holder down to put in a new unit at their own expenseSo I pay $per year for bandaidsCVS could sell me a lot for that The story unfortunately gets worseWe are in Arizona with temperatures of at the momentA tech arrived two days after the first call with a foot ladder to fix a unit on the second floor roof (feet) - how many times have you been here? This was Thursday before the long weekend and we were told a tech would come on TuesdayMy tenants are a couple in the 80s and the lady was just released from hospital and is completely non ambulatory so moving her to a hotel was not an optioncalls over the weekend to Fidelity only to be told that I was welcome to call my own provider and have a new unit installed but they refused to tell me how much they would reimburseI bought several portable units and made the condo somewhat comfortable and on Tuesday the call comes in that they will have to postpone to the following MondayAfter much haggling and fighting on the phone I managed to have them send somebody on Thursday, this being the guy who told me the unit was not repairable (and I believe him after seeing it myself) but as instructed by Fidelity he filled it with FreonNeedless to say I called them today to cancel my policy and was not even asked whyWhen I asked if they would like to know I was told that it was not necessary PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save your money and don't give it to these crooks I am now in the process of replacing the unit at a cost of $- ironically the same I have spent on premiums to these criminals over the years

I called Fidelity National Home Warranty to service a request for a damaged pool heaterthe company they chose to send out was unreliable and untrust worthy in my opinionThe piece that was broken on my pool heater was readily available online yet they told me that it was not made anymore and that they could not replace it but for an additional $ [redacted] (roughly) could go ahead and do a complete replacementI rejected that offer and simply told the pool company that I would find another means to fix my pool heaterAt this point no service has been renderedI then contacted Fidelity for another issue (plumbing in the interior of the home) and Fidelity informed me that I owed them an additional [redacted] service fee for the pool company and services that were no renderedi payed that additional [redacted] service fee today (7/25/18) but feel that was unethical seeing as how no work was performedRegards, [redacted]

We have had a home warranty with [redacted] for years We have paid for septic coverage which is advertised as covering one pumping a year We used this service two years ago when our septic tank needed to be pumped...there were no technical issues, it was just full They sent [redacted] plumbing and it was pumped for the $deductible Now our septic is full again, I called to get it set up for pumping and the man took my claim and said a plumber would be coming to confirm it needed to be pumped, at which time I paid my $deductible over the phone They sent a plumber who said they cannot check the levels in the tanks I called to let [redacted] know that the guys they sent could not check the levels At which time they tell me septic pumping is only covered if there is a stoppage in the house I called back to gety $returned to me since they took a claim over the phone that wasn't covered At this time the representative spoke to someone in the authorization department who

I closed on a home in Tucson a couple weeks ago, choosing Fidelity over others that I'd had poor experiences with My real estate agent recommended Fidelity Tonight is our first freezing temp night, so I turned on my heat some hours ago to discover it wasn't working I've been back-n-forth with Fidelity to hear that (although it's 'expedited') I should hear from someone within hours [redacted] *

I have a home warranty contract with Fidelity In May of 2016, I contacted Fidelity because my garage door would not open/close They set up an appointment for [redacted]  to come to my house I paid the $fee [redacted] determined that just a small part needed to be replaced and not the whole opener They replaced it and the garage door worked In September of 2016, the garage door failed again I called Fidelity again [redacted] came out They said that the same part needed to be replaced again and that the garage door opener did not need replacing They replaced the part, it worked again My garage door failed again on 6/10/ I called Fidelity They said they would need to charge me a $fee for a company to come out and take a look at it Obviously, I have a broken garage door that is being temporarily fixed every time someone comes out I decided I couldn't be strung along like this I called an independent garage door company They said it was C

My experience has been similar to the negative reviewsI've had incidents with them & one was during the heat of the summer in AZGuess their standard answer is we're waiting for the report120' temps & a week later they supposedly got the reportI had the wherewithal to find my own companyCurrently still waiting for a call to schedule a service this has been over a weekThe companies they contract with are below standards in every aspect Agree - not worth having them as a warranty company

I have a home warranty with [redacted] and it warranties my plumbing Several times in the last months I have had water leaking from the upstairs bathroom into the downstairs living room [redacted] assigned a local plumber who took my $copay but does not want to do the repairs The water continues to leak and since it has been leaking since last September I can only imagine that significant damage is being done to my house I have opened a new case with them and they assigned the same plumber- the one who does not want to do the work Despite there being many plumbers in my area I am stuck with the one who does not want to do the work

Has been a customer of FNHW for couple of years, after I renewed a policy that came with the purchase of the houseContacted them in July for an air conditioning failureThe thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) failed on a year old unitThe cost of replacing this part (as determined by my independent [redacted] ) would have been $2-$3KFidelity refused to do any repairs/replacement of the failed partThe reasons for a denied claim, was based on the technician's determination that our A/C unit was mismatched in capacity between the main system and the evaporation coil, completely ignoring the fact that TXV valve did not work, compressor did not start and the unit was producing zero airThis erroneous claim on their part was quickly debunked by me having original installer and [redacted] dealer independently inspect the unit on my own dollar and conclude with documented factory paperwork that the unit was not mismatchedThis paperwork was quickly provided to FidelityMy b

I, like other families, pay for home warranty coverage and have received very little in returnI places service orders in February and paid $ [redacted] for each assessment which confirmed what I already knfire alarms needed to be replaced and my upstairs toilet was leakingDespite both technicians recommending replacements for both issues, nothing happenedPer the supervisor's statement, I received no service because he technician did not write in their report to the company that the service needed to be doneI am now asked to pay another $ [redacted] to have another plumber tell me what I already knowI have not had a satisfactory technician result in the three years I've had this serviceIt seems Fidelity is very good at collecting the service fee but not delivering the needed serviceI now have to hire a plumber to complete the work which should have been covered by the initial request In FebruaryThis is such a ripoff and a disservice to those of us who rely on such a service to kee
