A very bad customer serviceI had an electric issue at my home and then when I called them I clearly mentioned them I was trying to fix a outlet and I messed up1st rep confirmed it is fine, mistakes happen we will come n see what it is and get it rightScheduled an appointment for visit in 24hrs but the guy did not show up , so they called n rescheduleThe technician came after 3daysHe opened the outlet and said some one opened it , I said I did and I had mentioned to the customer support guy tooHe took his sweet time and this guy said, Fidelity only asked him to check and give a write upSo he is just going to write up and send the note to FidelityThey will go over n then decideReally I felt like I was a dumb guy n Fidelity has cheated meMy question was what is the reason to charge me 75$ fee to come , see n give a writeupwhen I had actually told them I was trying to fix an outletCustomer service rep called me to say they cannot fix the issue as it was a human error and not natural cause and she was very rude, "sir you better read your agreement" and she hung upi was looking for another agency and these guys called me every days asking me to renew and they are the best in USNow after renewing I cannot cancel as they don't provide any refund as I have already paid them $of my payment [redacted] The rating for these agency is starI dont know how they could have these policies and one of the worst customer service reps

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Do not use their "services" whatsoeverMy girlfriend and I purchased a home and the former owner purchased this warranty to cover the furnace, air conditioner, and water heater which range in ageTwo days after moving in the furnace broke downI called the warranty company and got the process going which was made much harder than it should've beenThey required to talk to the technician about repairs which would've been fine had I not been on hold for minutes which the tech couldn't stay for ultimately resulting in a giant waste of time and unneeded frustrationA degree week later with a week old infant in the house I finally got the tech to the house and a person on the phone at the same time which they ultimately denied my claim because the furnace was "old" despite the fact that the contract doesn't say that absolutely anywhereSince I have to replace the furnace and the warranty is suppose to cover it I begin the process of getting transferred for hours to this person or that that couldn't help us but could transfer us to someone who could (they couldn't and transferred us) which was a giant loop of being on hold for an automated menu that literally only gives you options to get someone who can't help you and transfers you to the menuThe furnace aside, the transfer/hold issue is one of the most infuriating processes I've ever been through in my entire adult lifeTo top it off I asked for a refund (another giant loop of transfers) which they then insist on taking out $for "admin fees" which is ridiculous considering I'm not charging them for all the work I missed not is the technician charging them for the 2-hours he was nice enough to waive to get the work through the warrantyThey transferred me again and again until I finally got one person who helped me and made it seem as though everyone else was purely trying to discourage me so I would just go awayOne "supervisor" I got literally talked over me the entire time which led me to tell them I'd review them on Revdex.com and she laughed about it then transferred meLong story short, this company jerked me around for a week to ultimately deny my claim all the while I have a week old infant in a cold houseIf you plan on purchasing a warranty from these people, DONT!!! Just take $out of your account and burn itYou'll get more heat from that then you'll get from them actually fixing your furnace

I contacted Fidelity National Home Warranty due to a slab leak in my houseThey first sent me a company that does not resolve slab leaks and that company tried to refresh me to a friend of hisThe second company they sent also did not perform slab leak repairsAfter call ing complain again, they sent a third company that does do slab leaksAfter researching this company, [redacted] , I learned through the Revdex.com and through reviews online that the family member employees were convicted and sent to prison for breaking into homes that they servicedI had to go with a plumbing company that I chose to get this repaired quickly since I had no water in the house for my familyI called them back to request $ [redacted] of reimbursement for the plumbing repairs that have cost me over $***My warranty will only cover $***They informed me that because I did not use their people that they would not cover any expenseI Spoke with [redacted] , who stated that she was a senior mana

After moving into my new home with a warranty purchased on ALL appliances through Fidelity Home Warranty (not their basic warranty plan), I was expecting the warranty to cover any issues with my appliances for the first year as was promisedDuring the first week in my new home I noticed the oven and dryer was not workingI called Fidelity and they scheduled a technician to assess the problems and I paid the $ [redacted] feeThe technician said there was noting he could do about the dryer and said the oven needed a part ordered and he would returnI never heard from the company again until a month later when they said they closed my ticket after I didn't answer their phone calls to come repair the ovenThis was a lie, they never called and just wanted to close the ticketI called Fidelity and had them re-open the ticket and called the company backThey said they just received the email from Fidelity and would call me back to schedule a time to come fix the ovenI then received an email f

I moved into my new home on April 24th, By May 1, I realized that my AC unit wasn't cooling as wellBy May 2, it had stopped cooling completelyI then contacted my home warranty company and filed a claim with themMay 4th a technician came out and inspected the issue and informed the unit was out of Freon due to a leakOur lender required us to have a home inspection done before purchasing the home and while he documented rust damage nowhere in his report was it stated that the unit was not in good working condition(I have provided this to the home warranty company in which my claim was still denied.) My real estate agent contacted her rep for Fidelity and she stated if we covered out of pocket she would allow a third party non biased technician to come out and evaluate itI personally believe this was only stated to pacify meThe 2nd technician came out and he was VERY thorough; he found that the original technician left the caps off our condenser and the cover

I purchased a home on 9-1-and in that purchase I also purchased the fidelity home warranty planThe next day 9-2-I arrived st the house to start the move in processThe air Conditioner was outWas not blowing coldI called fidelity and they sent an ac repairman to the house days laterHe said the ac had a huge leak and caused your Freind to leak out and overloaded the compressorHe said you need new unitsSo the next day I call them and they say this is a preexisting issue and my claim is deniedAfter that I sent them my home inspection that day the ac is working fine on 7-25-They still said it's preexisting issueWas denied repairAll I know is on final walk through the ac was working fineI mean this kind of stuff happensNo different then buying s car and ac goes out a week laterYou don't know when these issues will come aboutI want them to replace my ac and do the job they was hired to do

Here is my honest opinion of Fidelity National Home Warranty on claims for my new home in the past months The home warranty I was provided isn't worth the paper it was printed on I am so fed up with Fidelity Home Warranty that I wish I could get money back and pay for the repairs myself instead of being frustrated with the lack of help from this utterly useless warrantyBut I didn't pay for the warranty, so the funds would go back to the former owner I will never recommend this company to a friend, I will not rate them highly for their customer service and I will only change my mind when the company acknowledges that I am not the person responsible for the poor quality of the home I bought I was only there months, roots don't grow that quickly I moved into a termite free home, so how did dead termites eat wires to damage to a working oven? Claim 1) I had a main sewer blockage due to roots from a city tree within my property It costs me $for the plumber to come out and say he can't clear it out because it is an older home (1962) and doesn't have the wider ports installed in newer homes for his equipment to work I had to spend $2,to have a plumber do what Fidelity Home Warranty could notClaim 2) My oven, which was working at the time of inspection, failed to heat up The oven was working while we were living in the home in the past months Before we moved in, the home was tended for termitesThe $appliance repair team saw dead termites and said that the repair wasn't covered So I don't have an oven now The house only came with appliances, a stove (ok condition), oven (now broken) and dishwasher (replaced due to rust/corrosion) So Fidelity is getting a killer steal on this home, deny claims and don't worry about my fridge, washer, dryer or dishwasher, they are all brand new under warranty from the manufacture

No wonder these guys have such horrible reviews onlineTheir "service" department can't even communicate with their insured when decisions have been made about their claimsIt's hard enough to get through to an actual person on the phone, but dealing with their bad attitudes is just the icing on the cakeAlso, their website is something straight out of the dawn of the internet, it's glitchy, slow, and frankly embarrassing for any serious company in this decade [redacted]

I have been a customer of this company for over a yearThis was contract was purchased when we bough our home May of and renewed in June We have never filed a claim or utilized their services up until recently, which is why we are filing the complaintWhen we renewed the contact, I was upsold to include the refrigerator upgrade which was more moneyThe sales rep [redacted] advised and assured me that the renewal would cover my main fridge in addition to othersI spoke to [redacted] on multiple occasions from May- June, she called me at least times in hope to convenience me to renew my contractMy husband and I were hesitant because we never used it in the past and did not want to spend $on the renewalDuring [redacted] multiple sales calls she mentioned that my main built in GE fridge was years, and not having warranty was a huge riskI asked if the age of the fridge mattered and she made it very clear there was no age clause in the contractAlso during those calls she as

Submitted a request to have my AC fixed on a MondayIt is now Thursday evening (degrees) and still no ACTemps are in the upper 90s now but projected to be over on SaturdayWe have told them repeatedly that we have an infant daughter in the house and now they say it could be an additional 3-days just to get the partWhile I understand their interest in saving as much money for the company as possible, no one will offer us a reasonable solutionThe last agent that I spoke to literally suggested that I go to [redacted] and puchase a small AC unit but when asked if Fidelity would pay for this, he stated that he would have to transfer me to a supervisorAsking customers to wait almost days for an AC repair when there is an infant in the home and temperatures are exceeding degrees is not only negligent but borderline criminalThey are quick to take your money and sign you up as a customer but forget about them trying to help you out in an emergencyI'm sure this service would be great if all you need is the occasional drain unclogging or lightbulb change but if you are looking for a home warranty company that will actually help you, this is NOT it! [redacted]

We purchased our home in September 2015, the seller chose FidelityThe first time we used the service was Tuesday April 19th after 4:30PM was when I placed my first call, I felt assured the first representative handled my call well and assured me broken water heaters are taken seriously and completed ASAPIn the end VARIOUS calls and NON URGENCY by the rest of the customer services reps, authorization department AND Service Provider (Practical Plumbing & Rooter [redacted] )The service provider was unable to replace our water heater until Monday April 25th! We had been displaced for a week and your company expected us to be displaced additional time without recompenseAdditionally "YOUR ONLY" available service provider expected me to pay an additional $to get our water heater up to codeMy last call Thursday April to obtain a solution was to receive a payout of $within 7-10daysImmediately, I found a pluming company (A & A Plumbing & Rooter Service)) that was able to complete the entire service and provide all service to get water heater up to code for $1150.00… Your service provider ( [redacted] ) and Fidelity are gouging and manipulating your customers! In the end you DID NOT PROVIDE SERVICEYou are an inadequate company that does not have a sense of urgency and allows their service provider to take advantage of their supposed customersI have informed our realtor network to never use Fidelity

The A/C guy came out the same afternoon and fixed the capacitor in timely and professional mannerThey sent [redacted] out to replace the control panel on my dishwasher via an appointmentHe was there on time and did a perfect jobPest control service for mice was declined because it was rats and not miceThe tech was very kind and complemented me with some mice trapsHe showed me where the rats were coming into my house and was very helpful I've gotten a return on my investment and am very happy with Fidelity

Fidelity National Home Warranty has the worst customer service I am currently on the phone waiting an answer and it has been over an hour They have not problem taking your service charge but not responding if the issue is not fixed I have been with this company for years and the customer service has declined every year and is currently at an all time low I have called in times the last week and minimum hold time was minutes

I have a warranty to repair or replace any appliances including heating and air conditioning I called to report the air conditioner stopped working on Monday July 6, the repair man came out on the 13th and told me the heater was not working they would replace it, they would order new parts and be back to install it,I signed the paperwork to pay for extras for new wiring and duct work for $ [redacted] and sent it back to them, I did not hear from them so called them to be told they sent the wrong parts and new ones should be here anytimeI called them to check and heard nothing, when you call the main office, you are on hold for to minutes with no response from them, I also filed information on line and NEVER got an answer from them what the next step would be, am just wanting to get the air conditioning fixed so I can live in my house again, it has been over a month with no resolution in sight!!

I bought this house with the existing water heater that is in placeIt was making massive knocking/banging noises and I noticed the hot water didn't last as long as when I first moved in a few months before [redacted] sent out a companyHe said it is making hot water, can't replace itI then asked why I didn't see water in my yard; didn't he flush the unit at least? He was about to leave without telling me anything, but he answered me: "You have inches of sediment at the bottom of the tankThere are huge ROCKS in your tank making that knocking soundI can't flush the tank because the rocks are too big and will break the drain"I said that sounds like a broken water heater to me, you can't even service it, and the 4" of sediment is already affecting length of hot water in the shower [redacted] is notorious for scamming out of honoring warranties and [redacted] is a goldmine of star, very angry and frustrated reviewsAs angry as I was, I b

I pay Fidelity Home Warranty $ [redacted] per year for a home warranty. I recently called for service to my evap cooler as it was not working. They dispatched Air Standards out to take a look. The day before they came out, a representative from Air Standards called to confirm. I asked if I should clean the unit prior and they said yes. I rinsed out the unit and left two of the outside panels off as they were coming the next day. When they came out, they looked and took pictures and told me I needed a new unit. My pulley wheel that holds the belt was rusted through. I asked if it was unusual wear and tear (as Fidelity uses this reason not to cover things) and I was told it was not unusual wear and tear. The next day, Fidelity called and told me it would not be covered as it appeared someone else did service on the unit. I got a Supervisor on the line and explained I had cleaned it out and left the panels off for the service company. I was granted a second opinion from another service company, *

Waited a week for somebody to replace my washing machine valvesSomebody finally shows up says yep they're are leaking he will have to call it in and come back laterThen I get a call telling me it was pre existing and not coveredThey would not refund my deductible and tried to charge me $ [redacted] to fix it

This company is BADYou will pay more than four hundred dollars up front Customer service is worstThey are UNETHICALWait time is huge and service is non-existenceSupervisor will send the technician to check the problem for earlier serviceService provider didn't gave any service as they came as recall of earlier service and says no payment needed but company will send you the bills anywayThen your call and stupidity startIt's waste of your time and money:( Please save your money and go some other palaceI would go a class action if there is oneBEWARE and you are WARNED!! Never again!!

I just got off thr phone call with fidelity authorization department about a previous work order they said is not covered as electrical fixtures are not covered The contract clearly says 'all parts and components that affect operation' is covered The ballast is part and parcel of the fluorescent electrical system and does voltage transformation the person on the other end of the phone line said it is a fixture and so not coveredit seems fideity has so worded its customer contracts that it intrprets its meaning the way it wants and misleads the customers the agent asked me where does it say that the ballast is covered in the contract I told him its essential part of the electrical cirtcuitry and affects the operation of the lights but agent said, we are talking in cicles and said we cannot proceed furtheri strongly suggest people not to choose fidelity for their warranty needs
