The A/C unit of my home broke on Thursday 8/2- I am months pregnant, live in [redacted] and being without A/C is dangerous for both myself and my baby when outside is Fidelity Home Warranty computer system was down and they were unreachable the day of failureI called an independent contractor as I needed quick resolutionIt turned out it was not a simple fix and since the system is very old parts are not readily availableNo repairs were done this day in effort to respect Fidelity policy; I called again in the morning and the system was still down so they couldn't place a service order for me for another 2-hrs according to the representative; I called back and After hours wait and after another near hours on hold a supervisor allowed me to submit a quote from a vendor of my choice so the issue can be resolved that dayHe charged me $**-their service fee to issue permission to utilize outside vendorOnce I did so I had to get on the phone again- an hour and a half holdThe p

Business provides appliances repairService work order [redacted] Repair of leaking pool pumpRepair request was denied based on a claim that the foundation that the pump has shifted causing the plumbing to fall apartRepresentative could not provide any evidence that the foundation has shifted or a date for the shiftThe pump has been in place, safe and secure, since I bought the house in No evidence that any foundation shifting is the cause of the pump leakThe pump is more than years old and functioned properly until now

Our issue began on April 17th, our A/C for our second floor stopped cooling and was blowing hot airWe have a home warranty contract with National Fidelity and we called and had a ticket placed for service and they responded with a company called [redacted] Services from Mesquite, TexasA month and half went by and we saw different technicians from their company that all diagnosed the issue to be something differentI paid a surcharge for a cleaning that I don't believe ever happened and had a total of days cooling by the time June rolled around (they had refilled the system with refrigerant) [redacted] couldn't figure out how to fix the "problem" so we hired a separate company [redacted] to come and diagnose the issueTheir diagnosis is that there was a leak in the evaporator coil and it and the condenser coil needed to be replacedWe called home warranty again asked them to bring another one of their contractors out to diagnosis the issueThis contractor (Air Max Services) d

Avoid, avoid, AVOID this company(Did I mention avoiding it?) We did all right with Fidelity for yearsBy all right, I mean we obviously paid more in than we got in returnBut that’s any insurance businessI still felt that companies like Fidelity were beneficial because they indemnify the cash- and credit-poor against owing thousands of dollars overnightThat was until todayTo replace my leaking water heater, which goes every years, Fidelity, in cahoots with Star Home Services of Las Vegas, announces that I must pay -- in addition to my $visit fee, which goes up $every year, and the $for the policy -- an additional $That's because replacing my water heater requires the removal and re-installation of a water recirculation pump that won't even get replaced(The past three times Fidelity had my water heater replaced, this pump was removed and replaced at no charge.) When I spoke to Fidelity, they wouldn't budgeBut after crying foul to Star, I got them down to $for the minutes of extra work and they acted like I owed them a huge thank-youWe are not renewing our home warranty with Fidelity this yearI can’t see recommending this company for any service other than emptying your bank account

Extremely RudeMy AC gave out yesterday on a Saturday which happened to be the hottest day in Los Angeles in years, I also have an elderly dog and year oldMy wife and I called to see if there was any sort of emergency service we can have access to in order to expedite getting our AC unit working in what I would call Dangerous Temperatures degrees and upInstead of giving any sort of answer or even once of politenessWhomever we spoke to was not only uninterested in our problem but extremely rude about itI dont feel I was at all rude or frantic on the phone and was met with only unkindnessNow I am getting a service call on a Sunday on my own dime even though my home warranty is good till March 31, 2018, because we were told we would just have to wait two more business days to be contacted to have our unit looked atThanks Fidelity National

I have dealt with several home warranty companies over the years and this company has been by far the worst experience I have hadI would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN I have called repeatedly to correct a service fee issue for an issue that they ended up sending out the same HVAC contractor out three times and the only thing I saw them do is collect service fees THey were supposed to have their dispute resolution group contact me on separate occasions and I NEVER received a call On this third visit, I again paid the service fee and they are now sending me a invoice saying the service fee is unpaid and due I have a copy of the cancelled check Again, NEVER again There are too many reputable companies out there for me to do business with this company again

Fidelity National Home Warranty does not care about you as a customerYou will be on hold each time you call for minutes minimum I've been on hold twice today for over minutes and currently I'm still on hold and it's now been minutesWhen they do get to you, don't expect to get a happy cheerful customer service rep to help with your warrantyThey will talk down to you like you a child in trouble They will not give more than a few seconds to explain what is broken and then cut you offI have never been spoken to so rudly by a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPI was cut off time and time again when trying to explain what was still broken for the service orderI even try to explain I had before and after pictures of the repairsIf you don't tell them every little detail in those few seconds that they do give you, they will use it against you later when you call back in and tell them you are still having the problem and the repairman they sent out to you did not fix the problemThat's why I'm on hold again for now over 1hourWhen I asked for a supervisor the first time I called in I was told there was not one available I said I would like to hold since I had already been on the phone for minutesI was told there were several customers ahead of me waiting to speak to a supervisorI asked If I would get a call back today and again I was told It depends on how many customers the supervisors have to call backI asked for the customer service reps name so I could speak to his supervisor if they ever did call me back and he refused to give it to me anything but [redacted] and then hung up the phoneI then sent an email and call back in While on hold I started looking at reviews on this company Don't let this A+ Revdex.com rating fool youcustomers have rated this company with the Revdex.com and were negative They only have a A+ because they resolve the issues once they have put the customer through hell and back, and the customer files a complaint with the Revdex.comSAVE YOUR MONEY AND A WHOLE LOT OF YOUR TIME, DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH THIS COMPANY I'm still on hold and it's now been hour and minutes I wasted a half day at work trying to get repairs fixed that they have already charged me the service fees for My family is now listening to their hold message while we're holding on the phone still during dinerNow hour and minutes!

We are attempting to work through Fidelity National Homeowners Warranty (FNHW) to repair our furnace. In the past 72 hours, we have spoken with at least a dozen different FNHW reps and spent more than six hours on hold. We are trying to work through the system, but it seems impossible. Since we are in a remote area ( [redacted] FNHW has no contractors to respond to our service request. We have brought in two different contractors to look at the problem, and FNHW has argued price and requirements with both of them. Now they are saying they may need to send out their contractor (?) to look at it before they can authorize the high amount to replace the furnace. We are at 4 days and counting with no heat and no expectation that it will be resolved anytime soon. FNHW makes you feel helpless and keeps you going in circles. They have wasted our time, and also the time of the four different contractors from two different companies that have been at our home to investigate the

My air conditioning went out in June. Fidelity sent a technician over who patched, added Freon and left. Less than a month later, all the Freon was gone, obviously a leak. Every call to Fidelity is a 40-60 phone wait for a representative. Sometimes they will put the call through after the wait, but no one picks up. Fidelity wanted to send the same technician, ***, from [redacted] ***, but I said we wanted someone else. [redacted] is only able to do minor repairs, not major work. They sent a diagnostician from [redacted] last Saturday, who said the flexible tubing and coil needed replacing, and very possibly the a/c unit. The tech, [redacted] , said he would report to Fidelity and they would call me. I called Fidelity on Monday, asked to speak with a supervisor, was assured one would call me; she never did. Then I received a call from ***, the original, poorly qualified technician, saying he wanted to c one on Wednesday. I asked him if he replaced flexible tubing and the coil, and he said no,

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE We called due to a water leak in our bedroomhours later still no sign of a plumberWe called [redacted] again, and Oops, they put the claim on the wrong ticketsWe went from having the corner of the carpet wet, to having 3/of the carpet soaked (including the wooden furniture in the bedroom)We call Fidelity to see if they would wave the $fee or pay at least for a carpet cleaning due to their screw upTheir answer was "we apologize for the issue, but our policy state that we do not cover secondary damage"So it's ok for them to screw up for a water leak and now will cost me out of pocket moneyThanks Fidelity, but we are changing home warranty

Terrible customer serviceThis company is such a nightmare to work withThere is no worse joke than reading their mission statement online while you get transferred around, then if you were lucky enough to get help, they hire the bottom of the barrel companies with the absolute lowest cost to make their profits, then while they are there doing work you will learn you are not coveredsick jokeDO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY, it will not help when you need it [redacted]

My airconditioning began malfunctioning Thursday nightI opened a claim on their websiteI prepaid the $ [redacted] service feeThe first contractor called Friday morning and told me to ask Fidelity for a different contractor who could work around my scheduleI immediately opened a new claim and they assigned me a different contractor but wanted me to pay the $ [redacted] service fee againI submitted a customer service request through their website Friday morning about the service fee that still hasn't been responded toBy about 5pm on Friday, I still hadn't heard from the second contractor so I called Fidelity and was told the contractor would definitely be contacting me that dayIt is now Sunday and I still haven't heard from them and still have a malfunctioning air conditioning unit...in [redacted] ....in August

This company does not care about customer needs!!! They still have not fixed a existing kitchen repair, but still made me pay my service feeThey have hung up on me when I called to resolve this issueTheir supervisor never returned my call to resolve that issueNow, they dispatched a sheet rock company that will take a week to repair wall holes, that their plumber made in my bathroomPlease stay away from this companyThey have been rude, unhelpful, and inadequateIt's horrible that they can treat their customers like that

I contacted them to file a complain that the light fixture in my bathroom is not workingI specifically told them the problem is in the light fixtureThey dispatched a company to diagnose the problemThe electrician said the problem is the light fixture which is not covered under warrantyI told him and told fidelity I knew the problem is with the light fixture from the get to when I called to file a claim and I mentioned that to you, so why did you dispatch and why are you asking me to pay the $ [redacted] visit fee? The warranty company says I should have read the contract, to know that light fixture is not covered, but I did not and I rely on the customer service representative to inform me that it is not coveredWhy didn’t the customer service representative say it is not covered when I reported the issueI should not be responsible for the $ [redacted] fee

My water heater went out last weekI called fidelity who informed me the could not have anyone out until this week! I informed them I have a newborn baby and cannot be without hot water as I need to clean bottles every day as well as wash his clothes and bathe the babyFidelity could care less! Finally almost three days later a plumber came out and informed it is an electrical issue and that fidelity would have someone out later in the dayI called back after not hearing from them in almost hours and was told that they cannot get someone out to look at it until days from now! This is unacceptable and must be fixed asap!

I requested service on a faucet in my bath and shower faucetThe company they sent [redacted] sent an either incompet or a thief who wanted to overcharge a yrold women for an unnecessary ans extreme service repairI suggest that fidelity NEVER use this company for Plumbling serviceHe made no attempt to loosen screw and remove handle to adjust cylinder

We have a property which we own at [redacted] We had an inspection on the property before purchase and they did not find any "damage" to our AC UnitWhen the AC unit stopped working, we called in to Fidelity Home WarrantyThey sent [redacted] *** (who has a star yelp review with all the same type of complain as mine) out who spent about minutes at the property, said it's damaged and leftFidelity says they cannot cover it because it broke from "damage." The AC is not damagedWe called another REPUTABLE AC Company, and pay out of pocket for them to look at itThey find that the unit is not working propertyThey found the compressor is very weak and the system has a low chargeThe fins for condenser coil had deteriorated over the years DUE TO AGEPrice of repairs to be $3,and labor $1,We called Fidelity and conference called in the AC tech with them as wellThey agreed during the phon

We purchased home warranty with company in October of with purchase of our homeOn July we filed a claim that our central air was not working properlyLater than evening, our air conditioner sprung a leak that leaked over gallons of water in our homeWe called

On 4/the tech came out to fix our washing machineIt no longer workedWe paid $ [redacted] for the inspection, in addition to our monthly feeThey said it would need to be taken into the shop to be fixed and we would get it back within 4-business daysThe machine was picked up on 4/We have received new dates on when the machine will come back now, the date just keeps getting movedMeanwhile, we have no washing machine and we've paid both a monthly fee and the service feeBoth my husband and I have spoken to management they say they can do absolutely nothing

Last June tenants in our property informed us that the power was randomly going off in most areas of the house We contacted Fidelity Home Warranty but the company they sent said it was a system overload and it would not be covered It did not sound right that an overload would suddenly happen in a year old house, without any substantial change We requested immediately a second opinion and e-mailed the disagreeing findings to Fidelity Home Warranty Nobody contacted us, and every time you call them you have at least a minute wait on hold (sometime well over hour !) Early August I sent another e-mail checking on the status of our claim No response Now, I finally decided to make the repair and will need to seek reimbursement from Fidelity Home Warranty
