My air conditioner started blowing hot air in early July of this yearFidelity has sent out vendors and they fix it the next day it's hot againI have called Fidelity for the last months and they have the worst customer serviceSupervisors do not follow up after I asked for a callThe last Supervisor [redacted] upset me by telling me that me asking for urgent service this was not a rushPlease go on [redacted] and look at all the bad reviews for this company and their customer service reps before you buy their warranty

On April 22, 2018, I contacted Fidelity National Home Warranty regarding the overflow of an upstairs toilet resulting in $ [redacted] in damages and $ [redacted] in supporting servicesOn April 23,2018, Fidelity National Home Warranty dispatched [redacted] of [redacted] to our home to determine what the cause was to incur said damagesThe plumber with [redacted] only investigated the operation of the toilet and did nothing to inspect the plumbing as to what may have caused this toilet to overflow and continue to run for at least 10-minutesI questioned him about running a plumbers snake or investigating the exterior plumbing cleanout for something that could have cased this problemOther than flush the toilet for close to minutes, with and without toilet paper, he determined there was nothing wrong with the operation of the toilet and therefore, Fidelity National Home Warranty would not authorize the replacement of the toiletI was told I could get a 2nd opinion, which I did

I purchased a home in June of 2015 at [redacted] ***. There was money left over from the sale of the house. I was told later that the extra money was spent on a home warranty with Fidelity Home Warranty. I never requested this specific Home Warranty company and never signed a contract with them. I "never received a contract from them". Meanwhile I requested to have my roof fixed in the month of June Someone came out and said they did repairs. Now that the rain has hit my house. The roof they came to fix has left a lot of damage to my garage. I called them and they said they are not responsible because they only guarantee work for 30 days. And they also indicated they were "never authorized " to perform the work in the beginning. It was all a mistake.. And to end the discussion they said the roof was only covered for one year. The first year. And even though the work was conducted incompetent "during" the first year that it was authorized to be done, they ar

Fidelity refused to dispatch a Plummer to replace an ejector pump which was improperly installed to incorrect wattage, and as a result burned out the motor

Was given the total run around on a claim. Filed and followed all the steps required by the rep only to be told we missed a step at the beginning and the claim was denied. I fill like this company will find any way to get out of paying claims by finding loopholes. The hold time was ridiculous and along with the terrible wait music I feel this is another way to deter customers from proceeding. If I had gotten the authorization code that I thought we did have due to the fact of the rep telling us to proceed and send in a paid invoice and check which we did. I feel like we deserve to get paid for this claim especially since it seems the fault is on the rep side. Here is the timeline. Date Comment 6/4/2018 Called and submitted Warranty request for Pool/spa equipment general and pool/spa filter 6/7/2018 Was informed that they had no providers in our area for the request. Was informed that I was able to set up my own contractor. I signed and submitted the form for "out of network service pro

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE ,HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! Requested a tech that knew about SOLAR water heaters when my reservoir tank started leakingSpoke to people from fidelity before the tech arrivedThey sent someone that is not certified to work on solar water heaters, but knew enough to know that the solar tank had nothing to do with our leaking, electric water tank, spoke with multiple people from Fidelity, all giving me different excuses why it would not be coveredOnce explaining why their information was incorrect they would go to another excuseI finally asked for a manager who directed me to the last person being a tech named [redacted] who stated that regardless of the fact that it is my electric holding tank, they will not cover the repairs/replacement because it was sold by a solar company and has their sticker on itTherefore they do not have to cover my ELECTRIC water heating tank with an ELECTRIC heating element in itHe then told the tech that had it been a gallon tank (and not

Charge me "service fee" but then claim the call was "cancelled" at the serviceman's fancy (unknown to me!), and I need to pay again(?!) Do not provide service as stipulated in the contract, only try to set me up for paying moreThe story: I had a reasonable service last year, and renewed for this yearThis year the same garage door opener that was presumably "FIXED" last year (by a service chosen and contracted by Fidelity) breaks againFine, I pay the service fee again and "*** *** ***" comes and replaces the entire unitHowever, two weeks later I discover they did not finish the job: they did not reconnect the stationary keypad and I cannot open the door from outside without a remote! Well, this is still within the warranty period, I call Fidelity, they have the "*** *** ***" call me backThe dispatcher says I can try fixing the keypad myself and gives me a number of presumably the technician who will guide me through the processThe dispatcher assures me if I cannot fi

On July 8th I requested a service on one of my heat pumpsOn July 9th I received a call from an HVAC contractor who said their first available appointment time would be on July 13th between 11am-3pmI accepted the appointment but realized an hour later that I needed to change the appointment due to a conflictI immediately called back the contractor and left a message but they didn't call back that day, I left a message the next day with no call back, I left another message the next day and no return callOn Wednesday July 11th I called Fidelity and told them about my issue and that I needed another HVAC contractor to contact me, the customer service representative said she would put a rush on getting a new company to call me and that I should hear from someone by the next dayI didn't hear from anyone in four days so I called (by the way all my calls required hold times in excess of 20mins) Fidelity again on Monday July 16th and the customer service representative apologized, put

I experienced an electrical issue in my home and requested assistance from Fidelity in sending a contractor out to resolveThey sent out a company called *** *** and the technician did a quick inspection and said that he could either locate the issue and repair the connection but I could run the risk of it happening again in 5-years because the circuits included aluminum wiring or he could re-wire an entire section of my kitchen with better materialThe technician didn't do more than open a few receptacles and quickly concluded that the best option would be to re-wireI assumed that my Home Warranty would have covered the re-wire, so I advised him to go that routeApparently, he provided his report to Fidelity and they immediately called me to advise they would not cover it because it was considered an upgrade because my current circuitry was inadequateI declined and asked them to send the same technician back out to repair the connection based on his initial advis

Approached Fidelity National Home Warranty for kitchen appliances repairs as per contract statesProvided them with documents and information requestedSpent endless hours on the phone trying to get resolution and got nowhere! My contract is paid in full and I am entitle to a service guarantied but get NOTHING! On Monday 7/25/I had a lengthy conversation with Fidelity representative who assured me (100% as she put it) that all the repairs are going to be concluded on 7/28/The same day I had a call from a technician, appointed by Fidelity, informing me that parts are to arrive on 7/26/and all the repairs will be done by 7/28/Nobody showed up, nobody called! They blame everything and everybody: I am tired to hear excuses about the technician they blame for work not done: Fidelity chosen and picked those technicians and have to take responsibility for situationI live with no working appliances for a month! My family has a strict dietary needs and food has to be prepared

On instances now that their customer service system has not provided me the services they are supposed to provide in a timely manner and when I call to follow up I get no useful information whatsoever I have no hot water for about hours and follow ups with no information on what they are doing about scheduling a service company that works weekends I have no idea if my service request is even being treated with the urgency that it truly is all I know is that they are in the money making business without providing the services to the consumer that they sold

My dishwasher broke in May, I called Fidelity to use my home warranty I have with themThey sent a technician out twice over several weeks to try to fix but were unable to do soI was offered a replacement or cash, seeing as how the amount of cash they offered was barely enough to cover the cheapest dishwasher available, let alone the cost of removal of the old one and installation of new oneSo I opted for the replacementThe replacement they offered was stainless steel, all my other appliances are white, as was the dishwasher that brokeNot wanting a dishwasher that did not match I asked if there was another optionThey informed me they are not required to match the color of the applianceAs I looked further into information on this dishwasher I realized it was also too large for the space I haveI spent many hours on the phone with several different people who all gave me different excuses/storiesFinally, after two months without a dishwasher, Fidelity found one that would

Unbelievable customer serviceThis company deserves zero stars and an F ratingThe contractor they sent to us was caught on our cameras doing absolutely nothing but "said" he did, we get stuck with a bill because its not covered under warrantyWhen I spoke to a supervisor at Fidelity the supervisor was on the contractors side and said I can seek an attorney if I need to and that I have no reason to be concerned and blamed me for being upset that we were stuck with a bill and nothing was completedIt should be fidelitys responsibility to take care of their customers and they don'tand the supervisor was rude, wouldn't provide me a reference to the call or initial of last name, he wouldn't do anythingFidelity is a scam, their service is a scam, their contractors are a scam, waste of dollars to be added to our mortgagePathetic

We purchased your Home Warranty ($***) when we purchased our home at the guidance of our real estate agentShortly after we had a problem with our pool filter and salt cellYou charged us $** to have a "pool contractor" come out and deny our claim saying that the problem was pre existing even after you were provided with a letter from our current pool tech and a copy of the home inspection report showing it was functionalYour "contractor" also claimed the pump was pre existing, which was not part of the issue, was working fine and still doesProof that your are a scam right theremonths later we a have a problem with our fridge, you charge us another $** to come out and have decided that it is a secondary failure and will not be coveredThe drawer broke and unknowingly kept the freezer door cracked open which caused a fan to failThis is a cause and effectnot a "secondary failure"Your customer service has been nothing but giving us the run around and will only take the wo

I have an active insurance with Fidelity National Home WarrantyMy washer started leakingI called for service and was charged $A technician was sentHe spent minutes at my place, looked at the washer and stated it was fine despite the puddle on the floor and the container under washer filled with water from the leakHe stated to file another request for service if the washer continues leakingI used the washer next day, it leaked even moreI called Fidelity National Home Warranty back and requested someone to come and fix the leakThe representative was rude and stated he cannot promise anythingHe than put me on a minutes long hold! The call dropped for no reason without anyone answeringI called back and was again put on a long holdNeedless to say, as a single working mother of two small kids, I am very disappointed at the treatment I received from the companyThe washer was obviously leaking with all of the signs of leaksI am not able to get help I contrac
