I've had two interactions with FNHW: one for plumbing, and one for an ovenFor the plumbing, they sent someone out to fix our clog who didn't have any of the tools necessary to actually fix the clog, but charged us anyway We called our own guy, why fixed the clog in about a minute He then said that the tools they were using (a snake that is too small for a main drain line) is dangerous to use in a big line because it can get all twisted up and make the clog worse So here we were lucky to be out *** and not moreFor the oven , they sent someone out to look at the oven who had no tools He had to borrow mine to open up the oven, and then after barely looking decided it was broken and that we needed a new one They were supposed to deliver the new oven today, but nobody showed up I've spent the better part of an hour on the phone with both the deliver people and FNHW, and they don't care I've already had to take one day off work to wait around for nothing, and while now they claim they're going to come next week I have absolutely no confidence that they'll show up Either way, now I'm out *** and two days of work, with nothing to show for itThis appear to be a scam

I've been going back and forth with Fidelity since January/February of about my heating system I purchased a condo last year and the heating system had issues I called Fidelity and let them know of the issue and they referred me to a technician within their network I called the technician and they told me they dont deal with my heating system, so I called Fidelity back and told them At which point they allowed me to go out of network I found a technician and got the issue assessed I then requested a reimbursement for the fees associated with the technician coming out to view my heating system and was reimbursed However, because this required a lot of work to fix the system, Fidelity said they would pay me out the aggregate limit ($1,500) from my coverage After the reimbursement that amount came out to roughly $1,I was promised that money back in May I never received it because someone internally dropped the ball So, when I didnt receive the funds, I called back in July and they said they would issue me the check NothingI called them again and they said they would issue me a check by late August I received a call from them today stating that they will not be issuing me a check because it states in my contract it does not cover my heating system I called back numerous times and requested my contract, but the representative at Fidelity says that they cannot provide me one because my contract with them ended on August 10th They keep referring me to a sample contract on their websiteNot sure why they cant provide me a copy of my contract as their excuse just doesnt make sense Additionally, if my contract did state that it does not cover my specific heating system, then why would you reimburse me for the technician to come out and assess my heating system? Also, why would you keep promising me the remainder of the aggregate amount for my coverage multiple times?
This company is a joke
A company that has no respect for their customer and offers no service recovery or customer resolutionTheir authorization manager *** is rude, has zero managerial skills and should not be in the customer service field
I have had fidelity for years This morning I woke up to an act unit not working *** the person answering there phone is not a professional at all Horrible customer service Why even bother answering the phone We are having excessive heat warning in Vegas today and he was like ah well deal with it So I have called a tech my self as they are such a great company wheThey take your money and don't want to service your under an emergency Once again they should just not even answer the phone I guess it's ok to leave your contracted customers high and dry!!!!! We have had to rely on this company twice now for major repairs in our homeBoth times have been a complete disasterFirst cold front this year our furnace went out we had contractors out and found out it needed to be replacedAfter speaking with Fidelity they supposedly ordered the parts, two weeks later we were told we never "okayed" the amount we'd have to pay, so parts were never ordered(This came as a surprise to us seeing as we'd called and spoke to multiple people in purchasing about when the parts would be delivered in the weeks prior.) Finally, after demanding to speak to someone who could give answers, and going back and forth for another couple weeks the problem was resolved and our furnace was replaced near the end of winterNow for the second time, during the beginning of June our AC started giving us trouble so we called and they sent the contractor out who said it needed to be replacedAfter submitting everything Fidelity called and told us the amount we'd have to pay for "modifications" we approved it and they said the order was being placed and should take 3-business days to receiveAfter calling both the contractor and Fidelity, over business days later we were told that they could not see the exact date of delivery because it was on a truck, should be a couple more daysA few days later we call again and we are then told that the reason it's taken so long is because an essential part had been on back order and they needed the okay to order another part in its placeThis is now two weeks after we were told the order was placed and would be received by the contractor in at most business daysAlso the first time we've heard of anything being on back orderMy fiancé and I both have called multiple times asking to speak to a supervisorWe've both been hung up on atleast once and he's been told twice that a supervisor would follow up with him and never received a call backNot once have we received an apology, in fact every time we ask how this will be taken care of the only option we are given is for them to give us a check to find a different contractor ourselvesMeanwhile it's July 2nd we are going on almost a month now with a two year old and a dog in the house with no AC in TexasOn top of the $we will be paying for this to be fixed we also had to spring for a window unit so that atleast one room in our home is bearable (The rest of our house is degrees btw)
This company arbitrarily deleted 1/of the value of the warranty that they were supposed to cover with no adequate explanationAfter the 3rd party technician gave their "authorization" department the description of the problem and the cost he handed the phone back to meIn less that seconds the "authorizer" said that they were charging retail rates and that the amount of the claim was reduced by 1/When I asked what the amount of the parts should have been under "wholesale" or Commercial rates I was told them didn't knowI asked how he came up with that number, did he have a price list or something else? Of course he did not, no other means of having any form of accurate pricingHow do companies get away with a scam like this??? Why do they have a Revdex.com rating of A+???

I requested service from Fidelity National regarding my air conditionerThey sent a contractor to diagnose the problemThe contractor stated that the unit was low on refrigerantThe contractor proceeded to charge the unit with R-407C refrigerantThe condensing unit is designed for R-and contains R-chargeManufacturer's data is very clear that refrigerants cannot be blended and damage to the unit and reduced performance are the outcome of doing soAdding R-407C into a system that has not gone through the process of proper refrigerant and oil replacement are subject to premature failure and reduced performance as statedOnce my home warranty is out, and my compressor fails, I will then be forced to pay from my pocket the damage that Fidelity has causedFidelity is trying to lay blame to the contractor for thisHowever, *** (at Fidelity), specifically mentioned that it is Fidelity's policy to allow this blending of refrigerants (against all manufacturer recommendations)H

In the nutshell, FNHW has failed to pay insurance claim for condition covered by warrantyMoreover they charged me service fee, while performing no serviceI had to arrange repairs on my own, but haven't been successful in being reimbursed by FNHW for the repairs that should have been covered by the warrantyMy attempts to reach the vendor to resolve situation with them haven't been successfulA longer version of the story, is that when my dishwasher broke in Aug 2016, I contacted insurance company - FNHW to request serviceFirst of all, FNHW has charged me service fee for scheduling appointment with the technicianI believe that there is an implicit premise in this transaction that the technician that FNHW sends to fix the problem would be qualified to fix the issue for which I've scheduled appointmentHowever, they've sent individual with a long tail of consumer complaints for no-shows, incompetence and dishonestyThis technician hasn't fixed the problem, lied to me that he'l
I called Fidelity National Home Warranty (I have a contract) on July 6th because my AC stopped workingThe wait times on their phone lines are ridiculous - minutes and moreI tried to create a work order online / their website as wellI was told a vendor would contact me soon to set up a repair datedays of 90+ degree temperatures later, I received a call from an HVAC company that said they could not even come out to LOOK at the problem until days laterWe were in a heat waveI said that was crazy and tried to contact the warranty company again to see if I could get another vendor out here soonerJust getting someone on the phone again (another minutes) was tortureIt took almost another week until I received a call saying they had contacted another vendorIt was crazyIn those sweltering days, I just called a local HVAC guy to came and fixed it the SAME DAY for $***I am now out of pocket for $***, plus I had to pay for this worthless home warranty contract
