Terrible Service; does not honor contract
I reported and was 'approved' to have our refrigerator repaired one month agoLiterally one month ago and the refrigerator is still not repairedCalling customer service is a nightmareThe have told me estimated repair dates that have continued to be changedI feel very frustrated that I have no leverage to have a repair company fix our refrigeratorWith so many negative reviews, how is this scam business still operating? Why does it have an A rating from ***?

I received Fidelity Home warranty as part of me purchasing my new house from the previous ownerMy AC went out the 1st week of July in TexasSince then I have been through different contractors (one of which has star on ***) and now solution to my AC being out
My home hits degrees most days, and I have a wife and a huskey puppyIt is now August 4th and I have called Fidelity around times in this past month (have been supervisors and of them managers)I have heard it all"Sir what else can we do?" (from a supervisor) "You know you can call the guy yourself and get him to your house sooner" "I am on the phone and he is giving me the report now" (I have heard that times this week and still no report) "You can look up your own company and get them to come to your house" (after weeks of no AC)
I am tired of being lied to and the company showing no initiative on their partI have had to have talked to over dozen different employees so I know this isn't isolated to just a few individuals
I have called fidelity about times...they have only tried to contact me times...am I a customer or a nuisance? Am I a paying customer or just a number to them?

I called Fidelity National Home Warranty (I have a contract) on July 6th because my AC stopped workingThe wait times on their phone lines are ridiculous - minutes and moreI tried to create a work order online / their website as wellI was told a vendor would contact me soon to set up a repair datedays of 90+ degree temperatures later, I received a call from an HVAC company that said they could not even come out to LOOK at the problem until days laterWe were in a heat waveI said that was crazy and tried to contact the warranty company again to see if I could get another vendor out here soonerJust getting someone on the phone again (another minutes) was tortureIt took almost another week until I received a call saying they had contacted another vendorIt was crazyIn those sweltering days, I just called a local HVAC guy to came and fixed it the SAME DAY for $***I am now out of pocket for $***, plus I had to pay for this worthless home warranty contract

Our hot water heater went out on Tuesday, March 20thIt is now Monday, March 26th and we STILL do not have hot water! We have kids at home and no hot waterFidelity thought the first quote was too high, so they sought a different company since we have an gallon water heaterThey have hours to respondThe second company comes out on Friday at PM too late to do anything about itPromises are made to get it fixed today, Monday the 26thNOTHINGTomorrowWill it get put in tomorrow? It is supposed to be degreesWe have already paid our premium for next yearFor what? To get the run around again? No thanksWe could have already fixed this ourselves! You people take cold showers or go find somewhere to take showers in cold weather see how long a week really is

I have been a customer with Fidelity National Home Warranty since I am now finding that their customer service has become absolutely unacceptable We have an attic fan that is not functioning, and we are in a heat wave here in *** *** While the technician was prompt and helpful, his submission to the company for approval has NOT been reviewed for days I called on 7/and asked for expedited review I have NOT received any updates I have now been on hold today, 7/16, for minutes and then the call was cutoff I am now on hold AGAIN Unacceptable

I have a contract with FNHWMy dishwasher broke in early Feb The sent out a technician to repair the unit THREE timesHe finally admitted that it can't be repaired and is under recall from the manufacturer (GE)FNHW is supposed to give me one of two options - replace the unit with a "like" unit or give me a check so I can buy a new oneI have been calling them since 2/28/No one will return calls or speak to meEmails go unanswered

I made a original service request on 05/04/(work order# ***) to repair water leak from A/C central machineFidelity sent a contractor (*** ***) to repair and the comtractor gave me a report after work doneI paid $as co-paymentAfter few days I found still water is leakingI made a service re-call on 05/22/(work order#***) for the same same water leak problem within a monthFidelity sent the same contractor (*** ***) to repair and the contractor gave me a report with $charge after work doneAfter few days I found still water is leakingI made a 2nd service re-call on 06/17/(work order#***) for the same same water leak problem within a monthFidelity sent the same contractor (*** ***) to repair and the contractor gave me a report indicating water leak as problem, what fixed and $charge after work doneFidelity now changed the 2nd servive recall as new service and charging me $and don't want to correct it to waive the charge and ignorin

I requested service from Fidelity National regarding my air conditionerThey sent a contractor to diagnose the problemThe contractor stated that the unit was low on refrigerantThe contractor proceeded to charge the unit with R-407C refrigerantThe condensing unit is designed for R-and contains R-chargeManufacturer's data is very clear that refrigerants cannot be blended and damage to the unit and reduced performance are the outcome of doing soAdding R-407C into a system that has not gone through the process of proper refrigerant and oil replacement are subject to premature failure and reduced performance as statedOnce my home warranty is out, and my compressor fails, I will then be forced to pay from my pocket the damage that Fidelity has causedFidelity is trying to lay blame to the contractor for thisHowever, *** (at Fidelity), specifically mentioned that it is Fidelity's policy to allow this blending of refrigerants (against all manufacturer recommendations)H

I just purchased a house, and the house come with 1-year home warranty with the companyThe house passed the inspection, but after one week several appliances stopped workingHence I requested a service with the company and they charge me $** fee for the callafter a technician come for a diagnosis, the company rejected the claimWithout noticing me the reasonI call them multiple times, after hours of hours holding on the telephone, I was told that they do not cover pre-existing itemsI looked up on their own website, and it clearly states that it COVERS pre-existing unknown issuesThe company are playing games to the customers to escape the liberalityfurthermore, I asked them based on what evidence they deny the claim, I was told simply because I made the request too soonof course, I can only make request after I move in the houseeven if that's the case, why not telling me before I pay the $** fee? The company is playing bait and bit, collected the money immediately, and

We purchased the warranty when we purchased our home almost a year agoWe spent $and have had claims, The first one was a heating issue, the guy came out and said he wouldn't work on itThe second was the cooling system, they came out said we needed the pump cleaned and the ductwork worked onWe've been waiting now months for a resolution and it is now time to renewthere's no way I would ever give them another dimeI feel like I've been ripped off

Terrible communication after the initial service rep visit who came to diagnose the problems with the dishwasher and range After waiting working days, I called *** Appliance for an update All I got was an answering machine that was full I paid $*** to Fidelity National Home Warranty last year during our closing They are obviously trying to maximize their profits by using the lowest bidder I unfortunately will have to deal with it My recommendation is to avoid *** and Fidelity National Home warranty

In the nutshell, FNHW has failed to pay insurance claim for condition covered by warrantyMoreover they charged me service fee, while performing no serviceI had to arrange repairs on my own, but haven't been successful in being reimbursed by FNHW for the repairs that should have been covered by the warrantyMy attempts to reach the vendor to resolve situation with them haven't been successfulA longer version of the story, is that when my dishwasher broke in Aug 2016, I contacted insurance company - FNHW to request serviceFirst of all, FNHW has charged me service fee for scheduling appointment with the technicianI believe that there is an implicit premise in this transaction that the technician that FNHW sends to fix the problem would be qualified to fix the issue for which I've scheduled appointmentHowever, they've sent individual with a long tail of consumer complaints for no-shows, incompetence and dishonestyThis technician hasn't fixed the problem, lied to me that he'l

Fidelity National Home Warranty is the most difficult company to deal withThey send out contractors that can't fix the problem the first time and refuse to replace appliances when neededMy refrigerator went out and they sent out several different repairmen to handle the problem because each one told Fidelity that it needed to be replaced and they didn't want to replace itI ended up having no refrigerator for over monthsMy dishwasher has been broken and it has taken them almost months to fix the issue, assuming it will be fixed on the next visitThere is a reason they have a 99% negative review ratingI only used their service because it came with my house, but I did not renew the service because of my horrible experienceIf you have the luxury of missing a lot of time off work to be home for the many service order visits it takes to fix the problem and can go long periods of time with your broken appliance, then you might like this company

Air conditioner stopped working and work order was opened on 06/03/*** air was dispatched and was supposed to come to home on 06/22/between 10-*** did not show and did not callThey did not respond to voicemails**Fidelity home warranty was called and they dispatched another HVAC tech but said they could not come out until 06/I had to pay for a hotel for my family as we had not air during a heat waiveI was told that I would not be charged the $*** service fee**The Tech arrived and 06/and did not even look at our A/C unitHe said he did duct work and serviced unitshowever, he did not look at either the unit or the ducts and was at our home about minutesHe just said the A/ C was blowing cold (it was degrees in our house and the A/C was set to 75) he said he didn't think the warranty would pay so he left**I called the warranty company and was told that they could send someone out to do a 2nd option at now charge**Today 07/the tech c

This is in regards to Contract *** *** *** *** ***Part of the work order was to resolve an issue with my *** refrigerator, which is having an issue with the water dispenser (noisy, uneven flow) and change filter indicator light (will not go off and sounds an alarm to change the filter even though it's been replaced )On/Around 2/20/- I submitted a service request using Fidelity's online service request toolIt has very limited options, which does not include issues for the water dispenser even though this is a covered part as stated in the contractOn/Around 3/16/- *** ***, the dispatched servicer, identified potential issues--a faulty water valve and control boardI was informed that due to the construction of my house the water valve could not be fixed*** *** recommended to replace or repair the control boardA replacement was not possible due to the part being unavailable so the alternative was a repair which they advised could take

Has been a customer of FNHW for couple of years, after I renewed a policy that came with the purchase of the houseContacted them in July for an air conditioning failureThe thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) failed on a year old unitThe cost of replacing this part (as determined by my independent *** ***) would have been $2-$3KFidelity refused to do any repairs/replacement of the failed partThe reasons for a denied claim, was based on the technician's determination that our A/C unit was mismatched in capacity between the main system and the evaporation coil, completely ignoring the fact that TXV valve did not work, compressor did not start and the unit was producing zero airThis erroneous claim on their part was quickly debunked by me having original installer and *** dealer independently inspect the unit on my own dollar and conclude with documented factory paperwork that the unit was not mismatchedThis paperwork was quickly provided to FidelityMy b

I have a contract with Fidelity National WarrantyI contacted them last year when one my tank-less water heaters failed to provide hot waterThe first tech they sent out found no problem and claimed that the water heater was in good working order, even though it could not produce hot waterThe second tech agreed the unit was indeed badDue to the high voltage of the water heater, both a plumber AND electrician are needed to replace this unitOnce the plumber installed the unit, Fidelity National Warranty then told me it would be an additional $dollars to run the electrical, even though the electrical was still in place from the old water heaterAfter more weeks of them unable to hook up the heater, I paid an electrician out of pocket to hook up the water heaterSomething I should not have had to doNow, on April 3rd, the water heater has failedAfter contacting Fidelity National Warranty, they informed me that they do not offer warranties on their work and that I would

On July 8th I requested a service on one of my heat pumpsOn July 9th I received a call from an HVAC contractor who said their first available appointment time would be on July 13th between 11am-3pmI accepted the appointment but realized an hour later that I needed to change the appointment due to a conflictI immediately called back the contractor and left a message but they didn't call back that day, I left a message the next day with no call back, I left another message the next day and no return callOn Wednesday July 11th I called Fidelity and told them about my issue and that I needed another HVAC contractor to contact me, the customer service representative said she would put a rush on getting a new company to call me and that I should hear from someone by the next dayI didn't hear from anyone in four days so I called (by the way all my calls required hold times in excess of 20mins) Fidelity again on Monday July 16th and the customer service representative apologized, put

I contacted Fidelity for a stoppage in my upstairs bathroomsFidelity said they couldn’t get a contractor out in time to make the repairFidelity forced me to get my own contractor to make the repair using the out of network clauseI have made several attempts to contact FidelityThey have now denied the claim after serve real time saying they would pay for the repairI have now recieved a official form saying the claim for Dec4th was deniedFidelity is participating in bait and switch tactics with out of network service so they don’t have to pay for any covered home warranty repairs*** *** from the company resolved the issue after the rep lied and sent fraudulent paperwork saying I had a appliance repairI had a main line stoppage from the second story of my homeThe only way to repair was to have the pipe cut outIf they would have sent a contractor it would have been the same outcome except I would only have had to pay instead of please helpThey are b
