Fidelity National Home Warranty won’t cover the replacement of the oven bottom panelThe paint on the inside bottom panel is flaking offThe paint flakes couldnpossible get into our food and be consumed causing health issues by either cutting our mouths, throat, etc; the entire digestive tractFidelity isn’t covering it because they said it’s “cosmetic” when it’s our health that is at riskIf anyone in our household becomes sick or ill because of this, I’m holding Fidelity personally responsible because of their inconsiderate claim

We purchased home warranty with company in October of with purchase of our homeOn July we filed a claim that our central air was not working properlyLater than evening, our air conditioner sprung a leak that leaked over gallons of water in our homeWe called ***

I have been waiting on an evaporator coil for ~weeks I live in, it’s ~deg I was offered a dollar voucher for window units at *** Please help me identify the *** that has window units for that price? I have children and elderly parents that are suffering from the heat and FMHW wants to give me dollars for window units I’m on the third company for the evaporator coil If dollars will buy window units, why can’t it buy an evaporator coil

Fidelity National Home Warranty sent *** *** *** *** to repair my fridge ice maker in a home I had just purchased*** was sent to repair my ice maker in my fridge, but in the process of this repair, they caused my fridge to leak, and left my home without properly checking their workThey left my home and said everything was good to goI went to work, but when I returned home, the fridge was leaking underneath and caused severe damage to my hardwood floor and ceiling below*** took no responsibility, and one of their employees was even rude and condescending, and even hung up on meSeeking recourse for the damage to my home, I contacted Fidelity, since they were the company who sent out ***Fidelity initially acted as if they were being helpful, but putting me in contact with their vendor relations departmentHowever, after many weeks calling and trying to actually speak to someone, I was told that there was nothing that they could do to rectify the situation for me

This warranty company is SORRY! I have been with them for years! and today I had a service call and the plumber caused more damage; of course he was long gone before I noticed a puddle of water on my bathroom floor I called Fidelity and told the representative to call back the service provider and have them come back! He assured me that he would put an "emergency order" in to have someone come out hours later I get the dreaded phone call informing me that due to the holiday weekend that none of their "service providers" are available However, if I wanted to go outside my warranty and have someone on my own come out and fix the problem that their service provider created I could do that! NO THANK YOU!!!, the last time I had an "emergency service call" they couldn't find a single person and it wasn't a holiday weekend I found a plumber, paid for the service, and guess what? They refused to pay the invoice talking about the plumber did not repair to their standards or some BS like that I should have heeded that warning and canceled then So essentially I paid $dollars that yearBut I renewed..How stupid of me...But not after this last incident I pay too much money, have been a customer way too long to have this below sub par customer service PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR WARRANTY THROUGH THEM!!! THEY ARE SORRY AT BEST, AND THEIR BEST IS THE WORST!!!! How is it that I pay you almost $dollars a year, and when an emergency comes up you can't meet my needs and I must do the leg work, then what am I paying you for? Not another dime!! They will come out and fix my repair and when they do, I'll be canceling my service!!!!

We had an issue with our air conditioning unit and called the Fidelity home warranty company to send somebody outThey sent out a person that didn't know what they were doing and gave us the wrong diagnosis after they charged us $**We called the warranty company to see if they could send somebody out for the second opinion and we kept getting the runaround againWe called out another  AC company to come out and do an inspection of the unitThe technician found mechanical and electrical issuesMy wife and I paid for somebody with experience to come out and diagnose the unitwe contacted the warranty company again and  we ended up going through issues again trying to get somebody to come out to the house for the second opinionWe finally set up an appointment with another contractor but he never showed up after waiting all day for himWe called the warranty company again to send out another technician, but we had to go through a lot of unecessary  hassle to do thi

I have had bad experiences with this companyBeing a first time home owner, my realtor recommended this company for home owners insuranceWe purchased a house with a poolA couple of weeks we were having issues with the in ground cleaners so I put in a service requestPool company came out and before the guy even came into my back yard he stated your insurance doesn't cover in ground cleaners but I will still have to charge you $Two days ago of the unions that is connected to my turbo valve ruptured so I filed another service request assuming that the union was part of the plumbing, pool company came out and the "professional" stated that it was part of the turbo valve so that would not be covered again we still had to pay $I called Fidelity myself and after trying to convince the lady on the phone that the union is part of the plumbing because that's were the water flows through she called the pool company and the receptionist confirmed that it was connected to the turbo valve so Fidelity will not cover the plumbing connected to the turbo valveI am so upset and disappointed in this company I would never recommend them to anyoneI can't wait for this insurance to end, I don't know how they are still in businessOh yes I do know how, they take customer's money and not provide any services

Long story short, we found out furnace and A.C(years old) weren't working and had a technician look at itHe tried messing with the control board but had trouble getting it to workHe also said there was some rust in the heat exchanger which may be from a crackSo we decided we'd wait until March and have someone look at replacing the thing as we were just about to dive into some other renovations and didn't need to deal with it right awayAround Feb we discovered it was under warranty only after receiving a warranty renewal invoice from fidelity(We are new at this home ownership thing) So we called them and had them send someone to look at itUnfortunately we'd forgotten during the renovations our gas line had been capped after the renovation company accidentally cut into it, which wasn't a huge deal at the time because nothing in our has other than the furnace uses gasSo the tech comes out and tells us a few things; first the unit is undersized for the homeSecond, he

Called today due to my pool filter issues and was able to get ZERO information about what is covered before I decide to spend dollars to have them come out VERY rude customer service, I spoke with an Angie who stated she could not transfer me to her supervisor that I would have to hang up and call back - also refused to give me an agent ID or first initial of last name or any information to get me to the right person all while speaking in a very snotty tone Wouldn't recommend this company at all!

I made an appointment for *** to come and fix the dishwasher around wks ago for today between & Pm on 1/12/I am a per diem worker so I had to ask for this time off in order to be home and I am not getting paid if I do not workI waited on the serviceman as I was supposed to till 4:pm no one called or came then I called fidelity customer service and talked to *** the customer service she put me on hold to call *** for minutes the she told me *** is behind and will come between & &pmOf course I got upset because no one called me to let me know but I did not have any choice since I did not want to postpone the repair and had to take off work for another dayLater tonight I received a message from the service person that he is not coming because it is too late and I should call *** to rescheduleWhat kind of service is that?

I can't express how bad this company is*** ** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** * *** *** They don't answer the phone, they don't respond to email, they dispatch carnies to come "work" in your home, but they're unable to fix anything to begin withFor the love of God, find someone else

I have a home warranty with Fidelity and they are not keeping their end of the contractMy air conditioner broke Saturday and I filed a service request with themThey said they could see me at the beginning of the weekI received a call from them on Tuesday to learn that their vendor will not be able to visit me until FridayThe vendor most likely won't be able to fix it until the following weekKeep in mind I live in *** and the inside temperature of my house is degreesI called for verification to see if they would comp a hotel room for that duration due to the fact my living conditions are un livable and would put myself, my pet's and my tenants lives in danger of we had stayed for that durationThey offered me to seek outside vendors for a solution and assured me they'd cover what is in my warrantyI reached out to a vendor, received their quote then called Fidelity to notify themThey then told me they would only cover *** of the *** dollars I was quoted for, ev

I wanted to share with you the very poor service that I have received from a company that promotes itself as: At Fidelity National Home Warranty, we are committed to providing
Home Protection … Service … and Value to each and every customer!
This company is nothing else that another advertising that wanted to “still your money” by doing fake promising and off course never do what they say!
Since we bought our home in Aug 2014, we have been paying this company to provide the “potential required maintenance” for a years all houseWe have tried to use it a few times with the following results:
Our sink garbage disposal “*** ***” brand failed, we asked for service and repair, the “service” cost was $75, we payed, they came and installed another cheap brand, but since it worked, we said okOur AC unit stops working suddenly last summer at pm, we called fidelity, and they said they can’t sent anybody until days, I explained, that I can’t have my family sleeping at 100F, and they said, “call directly an AC service company and we’ll pay you back up to $since that is what our vendor will charge us, but the company needs to be certified and you need to send the bill”, we called a certified company, they fixed the problem that night, and they charged $We send all the documentation and after a month and several calls, we received a check for $“because they have to charge their service $75”
The water in the spa was not warming up at the time of starting the heaterWe called fidelity, payed the $and wait for days, finaly the vendor contacted me, came, and said, this is a valve that is plugged, the warranty doesn’t cover it… I’ll fix it for $270…so at the end we payed $to replace the valveCalled fidelity, and they said, “our vendor reported and electrical failure”The upper spring in our heavy duty garage door failed, leaving our car trap inside, we called for service and repair, payed the $75, and used *** for days, until they finally sent somebody to repair the doorThat “expert” installed a generic springThe door opened, and we said, ok we are happy, and we renew the service with them for another yearThe garage door has have a few isolated weird events, like falling suddenly, but since it worked just fine after the events, we just ignored themOn April 5th, in my way to work the door again fall and this time it hit my car enough to broken and completely junk out the rear hatch spoiler, with the 3rd stop light and the water system to clean the rear windowThe car repair was $I called fidelity and payed the $75, the same day, for a revision and repair of the door… and waited days to be contacted by their ”vendor”, no call was received, called again… “we’ll check and come back to you” … wait another days, no call back form fidelity, no call from the vendor, called again asked what happen, and request not only the cancellation of the service, but the return of my money and the cancellation of the policy: answer “Yes”I called an independent vendor to review my door, and he told me “this door is a heavy duty door and those springs are light springs”…that explains why my door was failing from time to time!
After these discovery, called fidelity again to ask what happed with the cancellation of the policy (requested weeks ago), and they said that there is nothing in the system, that there will be an administrative charge of $and that they can’t cancel it until the end of May, so they will only return June-July moneyAs a result of my frustration, I decide to share my experience to warn you, just in case you expect to obtain any service from this “Home Warranty” company

I purchased my home in February and a warranty from Fidelity was includedAll systems passed inspection at the time of the home buyIn early July, the HVAC system broke downI called Fidelity Home Warranty to request service, they sent a tech named *** from *** *** *** ***) who then replaced the fan motor on the condenserA few days later, water began leaking from the coil unit in the attic through the ceiling into my living roomI stopped using the AC, called Fidelity and after trying to reach an operator for hours, finally got someone to come out and lookThey sent the same tech, *** from *** *** * *** *** (who was very rude to me this time)*** looked into my attic, did not go into my attic, and simply said "your system is not level and is not installed properly", closed the attic and left and said I would have to call the home warranty company to follow upI did that and after trying to reach someone at Fidelity for hours, I finally reached a rep who said they would not repair or replace the system because it's not installed correctly although my warranty contract specifies coverage for "improper installation"When I asked about this, the rep said "that's a grey area." I requested a second opinion as my air conditioning still did not work, which they said they would request "emergency dispatch"After waiting for hours, I followed up and was told they would not be able to get anyone to the house for at least a week but I could hire my own company and submit for out-of-pocket expensesThey emailed me the forms to do soSo I called a couple local companies and had someone here the next day, got an estimate and paidWhen I submitted my invoice, Fidelity then denied my claim saying the services were not coveredSumming up the experience, it has been beyond frustrating and a huge waste of valuable time trying to work with Fidelity and get them to provide service and honor their contractIt seems their modus operandi is to make the process so frustrating that you have no recourse but to give upIt's my opinion that their warranty is worthless and a waste of moneyI would not be surprised to learn that they are offering a bogus product and their reps are being trained to deny services

I moved into my new home on April 24th, By May 1, I realized that my AC unit wasn't cooling as wellBy May 2, it had stopped cooling completelyI then contacted my home warranty company and filed a claim with themMay 4th a technician came out and inspected the issue and informed the unit was out of Freon due to a leakOur lender required us to have a home inspection done before purchasing the home and while he documented rust damage nowhere in his report was it stated that the unit was not in good working condition(I have provided this to the home warranty company in which my claim was still denied.) My real estate agent contacted her rep for Fidelity and she stated if we covered out of pocket she would allow a third party non biased technician to come out and evaluate itI personally believe this was only stated to pacify meThe 2nd technician came out and he was VERY thorough; he found that the original technician left the caps off our condenser and the cover

Fidelity sent a plumber for main line stoppage on 8/20/and 8/21/but they were both incompetent in fixing the issueI hired a second opinion on 8/22/and paid $*** for a professional and competent technician to fix the main line stoppage with a power snakeI sent the invoice for reimbursement via email on 8/22/and called on 8/24/and they informed me that they cannot locate the receipt via emailThis is horrible customer service and should be able to locate all receipts for things do not get easily lost via emailWould like to expedite the check for reimbursement due to the financial inconvenience of paying my own plumber for $***

First of all as I'm writing this review still on holdJust FYI this is with this company and then you get placed on hold for even longer while they are checking up on what ever it isTwo days ago I was on hold to put a claim in and when they answered they hung up on me then waited another minutes, I was on the phone for a total of almost hoursThen they send a shady and lazy guy that acted like he did not want to come into work todayTells my husband that he has to call to see if this thing with the AC is covered and says it's going to be a wait that we can cut him a check for $*** to patch it up but if not he has to go my husband of course says no we paid our $** deductible and no work was doneSo as I write this please really take these complaints seriouslyReally do your homework and look at ratings and complaintsAlso look at what they really coverThey may say they cover AC but it really is just the AC unit itself for the most part is what we've been toldI'm off the phone and nothing was taken care of he said he will call dispatch to send someone else outThat was it! The worst home warranty company we have hadThey clearly get a F- if I could give them a no star I would

This home warranty company is TERRIBLE Our AC went out a week ago and we were told the part to fix the AC was ordered last Wednesday and it would be here within 1-business days I called back to check the status today as we live in Phoenix, Arizona and it's degrees here and I'm months pregnant and they didn't order the part until this morning and we should be expecting it withing 1-business days from today This is completely unacceptable for those living in the heat conditions we do in Arizona Also they are not able to give you any information when you call and everyone tells you something different So disappointed in the customer service we received and how unorganized this company is!

I bought the home warranty and one of my garage door opener popped open on its own and fried by itself when I was closing itThe contractor hired by FNHW came, a very young guy apparently not sure about what he was doing, took a few pictures and told us he could not do anything about it and left after minutesThe report he left us showed a broken cover and burned electronic board, consistent with what we observedHowever we didn't know that when he got back, his report to FNHW falsely insisted that the burned board was due to a power surge, which I was sure did not happenI contacted FNHW, was told that the warranty covers only 'wear and tear', meaning if you have something going wrong with your appliances, you are out of luck - FNHW only covers when the appliance 'dies naturally', which doesn't make senseWhen I contacted their customer services, after being put on hold for over an hour, I was hang up twiceWhen I finally got through, I was asked to have another professional to take a look and file a report to FNHW at my own cost, which I will doI will ask for arbitration on this issue and I would not recommend their service to anyoneI may cancel the contract depending on the outcome of further actionOverall, a quite negative experience

On 01/30/i called to open a claim in regards to two leaky restroomsFidelity said a plumber would call me in business hours nobody never called so I called the plumber myself, *** *** said they did not had any availability until the following week, the manager was very rude to me and said just to call somebody elseI called fidelity again and told them what happened they said unfortunately they were the only plumber they had in my area so I went ahead and scheduled with *** ***, I waited all day and they never showed up I called them and she said he wasn't going to be able to come that he would be available the following day, finally he showes up and walks out to his truck and tells me you have more than *** dollars in damage I need to call the warranty for approval he didn't touch anything inside my house just walk in and walk outIt has been weeks I have been calling the plumber and he rehects my calls and does not respond to messages y been doing the same wi
