Please read the following letter that I submitted to *** *** *** *** after first speaking with the company and not receiving assistancePlease note that the date on the mailed warranty is April 12, 2018, but, the warranty start date on the contract was October 27,

*** *** ** *** Good Morning,
On March 23, 2018, while both of our air conditioning unit’s ducts were being cleaned, we were shown, by the repairman that both units contained mold and were in urgent need of replacementImmediately, we allowed the repairman to replace both unitsThe invoice for the total cost of the two HV&C unit replacements is attached, below (*** *** *** *** * *** ***.)
We did not receive any explicit information concerning our home warranty specifications (Contract Number: ***) until sometime after the date of April 12, (listed at the bottom of page 1, in an attachment which is included belo

We have been FHW customers since 2008, always having two homes at one time covered by them They were a good company until a couple years ago when they bought out the competitionThey now claim they are the largest home warranty coin CA and claim that means they have more vendors to serve the customer In years past, I would call them and be able to speak to a human being That is not the norm now It is very difficult to get a real person on the phone to get things movingI write this review on 9/11/and we have been without AC since 8/4/ We live in the valley and we have had weeks of record triple digit days! The only reason our will be installed this week is because I have been the go-between with the vendor and company and had to get ugly with both of them No one likes having to do that and that's not how they used to treat their customers Both sides dropped the ball more than once and no one kept me in the loop Yes, they will buy and install a new AC; however, we will need to pay over $in additional costs to convert to our HVAC, city permit, etcThey used to be good I am now shopping for a new home warranty company Very sadThey are simply not performing well after a big expansionI can no longer recommend themThey are failing in customer service I shared with a Supervisor that I am shopping for a new home warranty company because of this AC claim and he didn't even try to talk me into staying with them!

A company with the most horrible customer serviceIt is just a scam to dupe peopleStay away from themI was facing problems with my air conditionerThey were quick to get the $** deductable and sent someone for initial diagnosisThese contractors could not figure out the problem and the company then told me to go out of networkThe out of network service providers diagnosed the problem with the systemThe compressor had gone bad and it also burst outAfter multiple calls with the company and on providing documentation, itemized labor and equipment charges they tell me that they will send out their own technician again since they work with these kind of HVAC units and they were not sure why the first technician could not figure out the problemThe new technicians come and diagnose the problem and they tell me they will repair the system but the ideal solution should have been to replace itOn contacting the technicians and asking them the ETA of the repairs they tell me that they cannot reach the company and they are not able to bill out for the repairsThe agents who work for this warranty company are so unreachableYou will never talk to a single agent and each time you call them you will have to narrate the entire storyThey have ridiculously long wait timesEvery time I have to wait over 45mins on averageAfter the agent comes on line they make you hold more to check on your case statusAny time of the day you calla automated voice will say HIGH CALL VOLUMES AT THIS TIMEThis is *** every timeThey have purposefully made the system to be unreachableIts been over months and I still don't have an ETA over when my AC will start working againWe did not do our research in buying home warranty and just took what our agent gave usI hope no one has to go through them again

We recently moved in to a new homeWe discovered a leak in the tub when it fills with waterThe water is going around a drain and dripping through a light downstairsWe contacted Fidelity National to get someone out and take a lookThey sent a local company called ML PlumbingThe plumber tells me there is a rubber gasket missing and he has to drill a hole through the wall or tub to put the gasket inThe plumber calls Fidelity and reports the issue Fidelity contacts us shortly after their phone call with the plumberThey inform us that they will not cover this repair because it is considered a missing partWhat's the point of home insurance then??? The gasket is supposed to be behind the wall, how could anyone remove it? The house was sold to us in this condition but we are getting zero help from them in fixing the problemThe best part is, we were informed that if we don't get the problem fixed, they will cease to cover any other claims in the futureTo add insult to injury, the plumbing company that they sent out to look at the problems is subparThey kept threatening to make claims about other issues so we would have to pay out of pocketThe company probably makes more that wayI did my due diligence on the plumbing company and found that many other folks in my area had the same experience with this contractorFidelity Home National is a scam

I have had bad experiences with this companyBeing a first time home owner, my realtor recommended this company for home owners insuranceWe purchased a house with a poolA couple of weeks we were having issues with the in ground cleaners so I put in a service requestPool company came out and before the guy even came into my back yard he stated your insurance doesn't cover in ground cleaners but I will still have to charge you $Two days ago of the unions that is connected to my turbo valve ruptured so I filed another service request assuming that the union was part of the plumbing, pool company came out and the "professional" stated that it was part of the turbo valve so that would not be covered again we still had to pay $I called Fidelity myself and after trying to convince the lady on the phone that the union is part of the plumbing because that's were the water flows through she called the pool company and the receptionist confirmed that it was connected to the turbo valve so Fidelity will not cover the plumbing connected to the turbo valveI am so upset and disappointed in this company I would never recommend them to anyoneI can't wait for this insurance to end, I don't know how they are still in businessOh yes I do know how, they take customer's money and not provide any services

To whom it may concernEVEN THOUGH AFTER READING THE FINE PRINT in this company’s contract (I have been a Fidelity National customer for years), I find it very unacceptable that because I sold my home to move closer to my daughter, any service calls I placed during the last year are not covered(!!!!), plus I am charged a $** cancellation feeThis is very unfair and misleading coverage and if there is anyone out there who can guide me as to how to get back the $*** they are refusing to reimburse for my Aug service call (beyond the $*** I already paid as owner of the property), I would deeply appreciate your helpI will never pay for their services again, and advise others not to

My central AC compressor went bad & need replacementTheir technician came inFidelity denied the claim because technician found rust on the compressor(outdoor unit), claiming the sprinkler rust out the unitHowever there is not active sprinkler around(we use drip system)The technicians complaint about how little the home warranty paid to replace the unit and hopefully they don't get assigned the jobSo they provide the unfavorable opinion on this caseI researched the topic on the webAccording to *** ** ***, AC unit only last 15~yearsMine is years oldBreak down at this time is normalAlso I research the reasons compressors go bad on the webRust was never one of the reasonIt's considered processFidelity denied my claim for bogus reason with biased opinion! Please kindly help me!! claim number *** and ***The person who denied the claim is called ***(manager), she refused to give me her complete name or company ID

In December we contacted Fidelity National Home Warranty to request a service contractor to come to our home to address a previously serviced issueFidelity contacted *** *** to handle the service call but my husband spoke with *** *** BEFORE they ever came out and the result was a conversation with Snappy about this being a previous service issue that was already covered under the product (a faucet in our kitchen sink) warranty and NO SERVICE CALL was made to our homeFidelity continues to bill us for a $** service charge despite my repeated attempts to reach them to have them correct their billing to reflect that no service call was made to our homeI have emailed as well1/16/called and left message 1/16/emailed 1/17/called and left message 2/16/called and left message 2/16/emailed I have also attempted to contact *** *** to have them contact Fidelity to let them know they never came out for a service call to our home and we should not

We have had a series of really bad experiences with this company They routinely hire low cost, second-rate service personnel that struggle fixing anything We have tried three times to get things fixed through the warranty and they were all a disaster Most recently, a hot water heater went out this summer and they used a local company/plumber to replace it Subsequently (about a month later), we started getting a terrible rotten egg odor in our hot water so we called them and they sent out their plumber The first one said he was in over his head and couldn't fix it and they would sent out someone else Over two weeks passed and the next one told us our new water heater had a bacteria (logically caused by the installation since it happened right after the installation) Instead of standing behind their installers and fixing the problem, we were told bad odors were not covered by the warranty so we would be responsible getting it fixed or replaced It will be over $1,for us to fix it

Business provides appliances repairService work order ***Repair of leaking pool pumpRepair request was denied based on a claim that the foundation that the pump has shifted causing the plumbing to fall apartRepresentative could not provide any evidence that the foundation has shifted or a date for the shiftThe pump has been in place, safe and secure, since I bought the house in No evidence that any foundation shifting is the cause of the pump leakThe pump is more than years old and functioned properly until now

We are now going on day with no hot waterWe initially contacted Fidelity first thing in the morning Wednesday, April 11thOn Thursday April 12th my husband called them again to check on the status as we had heard nothingThey said it was put on hold because they needed some paperwork from us showing a receipt from a previous repair on the water heater that they did not coverWe immediately submitted the invoice and called to verify they had received itOn Friday, April 13th we called again to check on the status of our claim since once again we had received no communicationThey then informed us that they could not approve our claim since there was no spot on the invoice that clearly said the word “paid” even though it had the amount listed along with a discription of the work performed and a signatureIt was there contractor that we used and they should have called that contractor to verify if they had any questions as we can not be held responsible for how they write up the

BEWARE! I had been a very satisfied client recommending Fidelity to my real estate clients until a recent claim they denied for a furnace leaving my new homeowners out in the coldThe furnace was inspected prior to closing and although older, there was no carbon monoxide leakFidelity claimed it was "preexisting" and deniedDO NOT USE FidelityI am moving onto a company with integrity as their's is lacking along with any willingness to work with a long time customer

I have an active home warranty contract with Fidelity National Home WarrantyI reported a central air conditioner outage on Tuesday 7/17/per Fidelity's processI paid the $** feeFidelity states that their vendor should call within days to schedule an appointmentWhen there was no contact from the vendor, I followed up with FidelityThey provided me with the vendor phone to call directlyI have called the vendor and left several messages without any response to dateI have also followed up with Fidelity without responseI have called two other HVAC service companies and already have their estimates in hand

It sucksNever buys itTheir response time sucksThey don't care about your emergencyI had electricity emergency in my home and they didn't have any appointment for days and they were ok with us leaving without electricityIt SUCKS BIG TIMEDON'T EVER BUY ITFidelity national home warranty sucks

I have just gotten off the line after giving up waiting for someone to answer my call I waited nearly hours We have an active authorization and they have now told us that we have to pay when a 2nd person is required for the service This is not in our contract nor was it on our original sign up document I've *** *** *** previously and they were so good Fidelity National Home Warranty is horrible to do business with...what a disappointmentI would never recommend them

I have had fidelity for years This morning I woke up to an act unit not working *** the person answering there phone is not a professional at all Horrible customer service Why even bother answering the phone We are having excessive heat warning in Vegas today and he was like ah well deal with it So I have called a tech my self as they are such a great company wheThey take your money and don't want to service your under an emergency Once again they should just not even answer the phone I guess it's ok to leave your contracted customers high and dry!!!!! Thanks for nothing!! And for *** he is as low as they go!

Very poor servicedays and waiting for air-condition services when it is degreesAll because fidentity was not able to dispatch service company properly

Each time I speak with a representative, it is an awful serviceThey are rude, disrespectful, and puts you back to the call que right away without asking for your permission when you ask to speak with somebody else or a managerMind you the hold time to speak with a rephas always been long in my experienceRepresentatives are not customer service focused; rather, they are business driven, not willing to resolve an issue, and always stressed on what they CANNOT doI had to call them several times for a single service requestThis single service request as of now is STILL NOT RESOLVED and I feel the need to report them here now for other consumers to help them decide NOT TO PURCHASE ANY SERVICE from this company

I have been a customer of this company for over a yearThis was contract was purchased when we bough our home May of and renewed in June We have never filed a claim or utilized their services up until recently, which is why we are filing the complaintWhen we renewed the contact, I was upsold to include the refrigerator upgrade which was more moneyThe sales rep *** *** advised and assured me that the renewal would cover my main fridge in addition to othersI spoke to*** on multiple occasions from May- June, she called me at least times in hope to convenience me to renew my contractMy husband and I were hesitant because we never used it in the past and did not want to spend $on the renewalDuring*** multiple sales calls she mentioned that my main built in GE fridge was years, and not having warranty was a huge riskI asked if the age of the fridge mattered and she made it very clear there was no age clause in the contractAlso during those calls she as

On July 25th, 2018, we contacted Fidelity National with a request to fix a broken air conditionerWe were told to contact * *** *** about the air conditioner failureThey responded by phone in days and came out six days later even though the temps were over degreesAfter coming out, they said they needed to order a part and we have not heard from them sinceThat was over a week agoMeanwhile, the temps are back over degrees and the year old lady who lives at the residence has no working air conditionerWe have called * *** *** on two occasions and they did not call backWhen we tried to cal Fidelity National to expedite this request, they were not helpfulWhen we tried to contact them this morning, we were put on hold for over minutes and I could not wait any longerAll the reviews of * *** *** we saw were extremely poorThe business is operated out of a homeThe fact an year old lady has had no working air conditioning for over weeks when th
