I received a Fidelity home warranty with closing of my homeMy dishwasher door was broken, I spoke with them and they agreed that it would be coveredThey sent out a contracted repairman who said he could not fix the doorFidelity then denied the claim based on previous damage/abuse, however, I had just moved in the house and no abuse or neglect had occurredNow, the dishwasher is excluded from the warranty and the repair company has not returned calls and Fidelity is unwilling to work with me

We have had consistent awful experiences with Fidelity National Home WarrantyFirst, we had a plumbing issue, we had no water in the house and Fidelity couldn't find a plumberSeriously?? We had to call places and finally found a company who could send the plumber quicklyWell, Fidelity paid 35% less than the lowest quote we received, so we had to pay the balance out of pocketContractors consistency said that they don't want to deal with the companyFiled a ticket about a garage door opener and they never scheduled serviceOur A/C croaked over the weekend, had to stay on hold for minutes before speaking with someone and they wouldn't escalate the issueI'm sitting here with my family in over degrees water, no A/C and they wouldn't even give me the option to handle it with my own contractorYou buy insurance for peace of mind but this is actually very stressfulI got FNHW without doing my research - if you have an option stay away from this scam and get yourse

This is the worst company I think I have ever felt with! Not only are their customerservice agent rude and unprofessional, but their vendors are even worse!! They go and contract out with 2-star rated vendors, who by the way barly speak any english! My dishwasher has been out of service for over a month nowThe first company they sent out was a jokeThe guy complained he couldn't pull out the dishwasher and I had to have it accessibleSo the next day, my handyman stopped by and showed me there were screws still in there and tat was the reason he "couldn't" access the washer! Obviously if he didn't know how to simply pull out the washer, how was he going to repair it? I immediately contacted Fidelity for a new companyThis next company sent out their very rude tech separate times, with new parts each time, and still no repair was doneI have demanded they replace the dishwasher entirety and they simply refuse toThey said now they want to send out a specific fridge air tech to

We purchased a home warranty through Fidelity National Home WarrantyPer the signed contract, air conditioning units apart from basic cleaning/maintenance all issues are coveredWe have been battling with Fidelity since June of They have sent technicians with different service callsPer my phone call with Fidelity today, October 10, at 2:pm with "supervisor" *** *** ** *** *** call center, employee ID# ***, Fidelity is now stating they need a 2nd opinion, as they disagree with the technicians diagnosisMr*** refused to transfer my call to any other supervisor or manager; he said "he is it" and stated he would have another company follow up with meI assure you, Mr*** is not "it"I have paid $per service call as required with the home warranty contractCountless charges since June of this year- and the air conditioning still does not workFidelity is bound in the home warranty contract as am IThe contract clearly states what is c

I called to initiate a service call on a leaking faucet on January 2ndThe faucet was leaking out of the handle; some would say a running faucetThe first availability of the plumber assigned was on the 4thAfter arrival, he reported that he would have to order parts to fix it and would be out the following dayWhen he arrived on Thursday he said he could not get the parts and would install a new faucet the following Friday, the 13thOn the 12th I called Fidelity again because the lead had now gotten worse and was causing damage under the sinkI was told by one of their representatives that it was my problem because they don't deal with secondary damageFriday the plumber arrived and installed a faucet sold exclusively at *** ***My first issue it that the faucet he removed was under warranty through *** and he could have called them to obtain partsI confirmed with the plumber that he did not attempt to obtain parts from ***My second issue is the home warranty states t

Today is day without my air conditioner workingFour days ago, the second opinion was given, but FNHW claims they don't have a report/statusHave called multiple times after minutes on holdCant get a status, resolution or repair!

Terrible customer service and wouldnt service my dishwasher

I went online to submit a service request for a couple items covered under warranty, i.eelectrical and garage door issuesEverything I submitted was under their electrical trade service and required one service fee of $I paid the $service fee; however, I was later asked to pay another service fee for the garage door issues even though they were both under one trade service fee

I'm using FNHW for about years now and was always happy with the serviceThere was a problem with the most recent insurance service callI started a dispute by call, email and mail in April Never heard back from the FNHW so I was under the impression that this is resolved and somebody just forgot to write me backNow months later I wanted to open another claim and got told by different service representative that I need to pay the outstanding service fee or my account stays "on hold" for the disputed chargesThey didn't offer any other solution to resolve my open dispute (which I didn't know it's still active)

We have had a warranty on our house since we purchased it in Recently, we renewed the warranty for an additional yearWe made a service request for a plumber to look at our broken garbage disposal as well as a constantly running/leaky toiletUpon the contractors completion of the job, I wrote a personal check made out to *** *** in the amount of $** (our service fee per contract)The check was cashed as shown on our bank statement as well as bank provided pictures of deposited checkSomewhere along the line, *** *** and Fidelity have not communicated that the fee was paid and our account has been put on hold due to past due service feeI have gone through Fidelity's webpage and filled out the "Contact Us" form three different times and have not heard backI spoke to someone on the phone over a month ago and emailed their requested proof of payment (bank statement and cashed check image) and our account is STILL on holdI call Fidelity and am sent to voicemail w

I purchased an appliance warranty through the *** when we purchased our new homeSoon after moving into our home we realized the dishwasher was broken and unusableAfter reviewing our policy we called and filed a claim in August with *** In November we still did not hear back from *** regarding our claim, we followed up for several week with calls and several voicemails we received a call from a subcontractor that said *** called them to come look at our dishwasher The repairman came and diagnosed the issues, then said his company *** *** *** will contact us when they recieve the necessary replacement parts, that call never came Again after phone calls and voicemails later, *** *** *** *** came to our home, this time with the wrong ordered parts Two months went by and we called ***, got through to a "customer service supervisor" at only to find out they no longer contract with *** *** *** and thus need to send out a new c

We had a year home warranty after purchase of our new home and we called for our water heater repaired on March 11, by a company sent out by Fidelity Home Warranty.  A year a later the same issue occurred.  The plumber today informed us that the repairs made by your contractor were not correct.  They used incomplete and after market parts as a temporary fix.  The correct parts that were needed for a proper repair are still covered under warranty from the manufacturer and your contactor should have been able to obtain the correct and complete repair items free of charge.  I now had to pay a new plumber to fix what was should have been properly covered and repaired by our home warrantyA warranty company should not be allowed to send people out for a temporary fix when warranty coverage is annual

On 09/I contacted Fidelity regarding my air conditionerThe vendor they sent was not able to correct the issue because they did not have the proper partsThe parts would arrive and service would be done 10/or 10/Temperatures have been over degreesI requested authorization for another vendor and/or temporary relief while awaiting partsTemperatures in the house were reaching to degreesI called them multiple times and each time they indicate a supervisor or manager would need to authorize and they would call me backNobody has called me backThis will now be days in these living conditions which threatens the health and safety of me and my familyThey have breached their contract to provide service and have put me at risk in doing soThis is gross negligence

I purchased Fidelity Home Warranty insurance for a rental home I purchased in September Prior to purchasing the property, I had it inspected by both a contractor as well as paid for a home inspector to inspect the propertyBoth tested the water pressure and stated it was normalIn late November, the tenant informed me that there was a large leak in the kitchen faucet and also some smaller intermittent leaks elsewhere in the homeThe leak in the kitchen faucet was so bad they told me they needed to shut off the water to the homeI called Fidelity Home Warranty to place a claim and they sent out *** *** said the water pressure was too high (I have received varying reports from to from Fidelity)Fidelity said they would replace the "faulty water pressure regulator" but would not repair anything else because it was "secondary damage" due to the high water pressureI immediately contacted the home inspector who stated that he didn't think it was even possible beca

Fidelity National Warranty company placed us in contact with ** *** in order to have them fixed our broken dryer** *** send *** to repair the unit, and *** fixed the problem with the dryer not working*** had to make two trips to get the unit working properly, and after each trip he claimed the unit was operationalThat was true about the second trip, partially, as the dryer now squeaks as it driesWe called *** a third time to deal with the squeak, and with the dryer cover that he broke doing the repairs*** claims that since the dryer is drying, it is none of his concern that the unit squeaks or that he broke the dryer “a cosmetic problem, he says, and not his business, he says”“Fidelity National’, on the other hand, says that “they vouch for their contractors, but are not responsable if they break anythingI would strongly advice about staying away from ** ***At the same time, I would strongly advice people to stay away from Fidelity Na

I have a contract with this businessI have submitted a request for service on 8/(we do not have hot water)They send a plumber out on 9/who was unable to fix the water heaterWe report back that the service was not completed and the service representative was actually very rudeThey send another representative out about a week laterThat plumber was unable to fix the water heaterA part was neededWe were told that the parts would be ordered and that they would come back outWe have been in contact with Fidelity for weeksStill no hot waterAnd now they have suspended my contract because they said that I have failed to pay the service feeThe service fee is meant to be paid when the service has been provided and completedThey have failed to resolve my service requestThe customer service has been rude and unhelpfulAnd now they hold me responsible for payment without fulfilling the terms of the contractThis job should now be completed at no cost to me

My AC stopped working while I was on vacationI called in on Sunday, got a call from contractor on Monday, they came out TuesdayThey said that we needed a new oneFidelity denied a new one and said to only fix itThis is the 3rd time in years it has been worked onContractor states that the air conditioner is so old that he can’t figure out when it was manufacturedContractor stated that fidelity will NEVER replace a systemSo we decided to replace it anyway because we could still get back $*** from fidelity towards the new oneNow fidelity states that there are other fees and we are only getting back $*** Half! After I was contacted by a rude CSR from fidelity and hung up on, I tried contacting fidelity by email times with no reposeI finally called back in, talked to a different CSR, talked to a manager and a retention specialistThe last one told me that I was scammed by the contractor and that it wasn’t their problemI am furious with this companyWe started out with *** years ago and unfortunately was sold off to fidelityHave had nothing but problems with them over the years, either not covering an issue or never really fixing the issues

I purchased my home in with a one-year contract with Fidelity includedI renewed twice since thenMy home was built in and I feel like many of the systems were as old as the homeI the first year I had the air conditioner serviced, the water heater replaced, and the furnace repairedThe next year, I had the air conditioner repaired again, twice, and the garage door opener replacedJust after renewing this year I needed a plumber to replace a stop valve by my toilette, a job that turned out not be trivial due to the age of the original partAlthough I did have problems with some of the service providers, including one that kept us waiting for two weeks with a broken AC, Fidelity was always easy to work withIn the latter case, they switched me to a different AC company and the problem was fixed in a dayThey also have a great policy where the customer can choose their own service provider if neededFidelity will reimburse you a negotiated rate (though it may be less than the full cost)I used this option in one case when my AC broke because I couldn't go a week without AC, waiting for the contractorI found someone to come out on a Sunday, who was willing to work with FidelityI paid up front and Fidelity reimbursed me the entire cost of the service, minus the $deductibleAll in all, having the warranty saved me a lot of money in my first two years of home ownership, and Fidelity has proven to be a good company

Our AC is not working and we filed a request on 6/19/According to their process we had to pay $** for a troubleshooting and to make repairs after thatEven evaluation is not completed let alone repairsNo one has even showed up or bothered to look into this issueI have called fidelity times, each time it takes more then hours to get a customer representativeEvery time they say its up for dispatch which I know already and say they have put it up for other companies to grab but the company never changesFidelity allocated a company named *** *** * *** *** ***Technically they are suppose to call in two business days to schedule an appointmentThis company when called always goes to voicemail with two different messagesOne asks to leave a voicemail, other asks to email and leave a voicemailLeft voicemails more then times, emailed them as wellNo responseAccording to Fidelity customer service they wont pay if I choose my own companyHeat goi

My air conditioner started blowing hot air in early July of this yearFidelity has sent out vendors and they fix it the next day it's hot againI have called Fidelity for the last months and they have the worst customer serviceSupervisors do not follow up after I asked for a callThe last Supervisor *** upset me by telling me that me asking for urgent service this was not a rushPlease go on *** and look at all the bad reviews for this company and their customer service reps before you buy their warranty
