We had an issue with our air conditioning unit where it was making a loud noise when it turned on and the breaker would occasionally flip offI called fidelityI paid the required deductible and they sent a service technician out to fix itThe technician said the entire unit needed to be replaced but fidelity refused to replace it rather, according to the technician, "put a bandaid on the problem." The unit still made the noise although not as loudThe following spring the unit was still making the noise still and getting louderI called fidelity and they refused to honor the work because it had been more that daysI explained to them that the problem was never fixed properlyThey said it didn't matterNow the unit is consistently causing the breaker to turn off and the unit is getting louder and louderFidelity has refused to honor the contract by properly repair a failed AC unit

We purchased a home month ago with a home warrantyWe have a hot tub coveredWe were enjoying the hot tub the second day we moved in and for about weeks when the heater went outWe called Fidelity and a service man came out to the homeHe verified the heater went outWe then were informed and see that Fidelity denied our claim indicating this is a new policy and therefore it was a preexisting conditionWe paid for a policy and it was active when the heater went outWe cannot help the timing of the heater going outWe have tried to contact Fidelity multiple times without call backs and any additional assistance

I notified Fidelity on Saturday November 18th, about our hot water tank not working and having no hot waterThey took down my information and told me that a plumber would contact me that day, no later than SundayOn Monday the Plumber finally called and came out to take a lookAt that point, Fidelity told them they would not cover this since the manufacturer warranty was still in placeWe bought this house this past June, and that manufacturer warranty is non-transferable, they told the plumber to just leaveI in turn had to call Fidelity back and tell them they would need to cover this since the manufacturer warranty was non-transferablePlumber came back out on TuesdayThey really didn't know how to fix the problem, since this was a Hybrid water heaterThey had to call the manufacturer to see what the error code wasThen they changed out the elements which did not solve the problemThe plumber then said they were shipping us a part, which never cameNow were at Saturd

Our home warranty was activated in June when we purchased our condoThe water pressure in the kitchen sink was fine at that timeLater in the year, the cold water pressure became very weakI had a plumber look at the faucet in January The plumber informed me that the water pressure was low because there was debris caught in the faucet that was blocking the cold water from coming outHe said that the only way to fix this issue was to replace the faucetI called Fidelity National Home Warranty in February to ask if this issue was coveredI told the representative that the water pressure coming out of the kitchen sink was low, and that a plumber had told me that this is due to a block in the faucet and the faucet needed to be replaced to fix the issueSHE CONFIRMED THAT THIS WOULD BE COVERED BY MY WARRANTYShe said that it would be $** to send a plumber out to first verify that the faucet would need to be replacedA replacement faucet would then be ordered and the

*** *** ** *** Good Morning,
On March 23, 2018, while both of our air conditioning unit’s ducts were being cleaned, we were shown, by the repairman that both units contained mold and were in urgent need of replacementImmediately, we allowed the repairman to replace both unitsThe invoice for the total cost of the two HV&C unit replacements is attached, below (*** *** *** *** * *** ***.)
We did not receive any explicit information concerning our home warranty specifications (Contract Number: ***) until sometime after the date of April 12, (listed at the bottom of page 1, in an attachment which is included belo

I whole-heartedly agree with all of the other one star reviews I truly hope people research this company before being scammed out of their moneyThis company is absolutely terribleFidelity National Home Warranty is a classless business and their conduct should be considered criminalDo not under any circumstances contact this company for a warrantyYou are better off paying for a finding experts yourself, because they certainly do not contract experts

I have been trying to get a new microwave for a monthTheir lack of responsiveness is ridiculousToday I finally got a hold of somebody and they will replace it BUT with a much cheaper brand than what I haveThey will not match the color to the other appliances and will not cover the trim that is required to install the replacement microwaveI have already paid $dollars for a guy to come out and literally take minutes to say "yea you need a new microwave"So, $plus $for trim, and the $600/year I pay for coverage and they will only cover $of my $microwave? What are they going to do if my AC goes out? Replace it with a fan? This is a waste of money and time

Fidelity Home Warranty is a nightmare for home owners WARNING: Do not enter into a policy with them You are better off without a home warranty policy We have had a policy for three years We had our automatic ice maker replaced, which we were charged $for The ice maker is the worst one I have ever had It is so loud when it fills with water that you can't even have a conversation in the kitchen when it is running In April our clothes washer broke Fidelity had our claim for one week and I had not received any word from them By this time, I was without a washer for days.!!! I called Fidelity and was told that they had reached a settlement days ago but no one had bothered to contact us!!!! Needless to say, we took the money because we did want to wait on Fidelity actually replacing the washer I had already made one trip to the laundromat and did loads!!! The Fidelity representative that I talked to could not understand why I was upset Run as fast as you can away from this company

We have been a customer for yrsWe tried to renew our contract on-line on July Fidelity's on-line systems were downWe called August & was told that we could not renew, we had to purchase another contract and have a day waiting periodOver a week later a sales agent called us saying we were given the wrong information and we could renew without a waiting periodIn the meantime, we had an issue with our air conditioning unit and had to pay for a service call and ultimately a new systemThe sales agent kept calling us guaranteeing we had no waiting periodWe asked for the service fee to be reimbursed to us since the agent gave us the wrong informationThis is like bait and switchThey didn't deliver what they advertiseIf we had been given the correct information we would have had all of the fees coveredThis is outrageousWe would like Fidelity held responsible for this and reimburse us the service call fees of $***

I received a Fidelity home warranty with closing of my homeMy dishwasher door was broken, I spoke with them and they agreed that it would be coveredThey sent out a contracted repairman who said he could not fix the doorFidelity then denied the claim based on previous damage/abuse, however, I had just moved in the house and no abuse or neglect had occurredNow, the dishwasher is excluded from the warranty and the repair company has not returned calls and Fidelity is unwilling to work with me

I purchased a Home Warranty on July when I purchase my current propertyIn January 21, I filed a claim for a non-operational garage door, Fidelity National Home Warranty agreed to send someone to come over and fix itI live in *** Ca, They A garage door company from *** CA to my house, The guys from that company took pictures and said they could not fix the door at all and I needed to replace it-They even gave me estimates for replacing my door, but did not even attempted to fix it at allBefore leaving they demanded a Dollars payment and said they were collecting for Fidelity National and needed to get paid nowI wrote a Check for the amount requested and they went on their way ( By the way right after they left I spent five minutes tinkering with the door and it has been working ever since)A month later I received a bill from Fidelity National demanding dollars because they say they only received DollarsI sent them a copy of my check whi

*** *** *** *** company has been contacted for three repairs on appliances for our home Our contract, #***, has seen calls for a disposal, dishwasher, and microwave The call for the disposal was made on May 29, 2018, and *** never contacted the service provider, *** ***, resulting in delay of any service visit *** *** is also one hour from our home but their closest provider for plumbing I paid the $fee to *** for the service call, the minimum charge *** *** visited and thought that the problem was plastic in the disposal and removed that and manually started the disposal on Thursday, May 31, On Friday, June 1, 2018, the first time the disposal was turned on with a switch after service, the exact same problem remainedthe disposal simply did not operate I called again on Tuesday, June 5, to report that the disposal did not work after the service call *** *** contacted me on June 6,

* *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** ** ** *** This warranty company is truly a scam I had them last yeast for my first house When something broke down, they left me high and dry They only had one contractor in the *** *** metro area Would have to wait a month And I needed help immediately They had the balls to call me today and ask if I would sign up again

The warranty salesperson and a customer service personell told me that all garage and gate openers are coveredBoth items I had explicitly asked about and the salesperson said they were coveredCommercial gate openers are typically installed on large gates on homesHowever, when I placed a claiim Fedelity stated over the phone to me that they do not include gate openers since it's a commercial motors and gate motorNone of this was properly disclosed and I was directly lied toAlso, they sent out a terrible contractor who was looking to do more work than just the part itselfHe said the part does not exist and needs to change the motor for $***I canceled my insurance with FidelityI had explicitly asked them which portion of their contract excludes this and they pointed to a section (Limits of Liability #7) that is very ambigousI think they denied they claim wrongfully as soon as they relized that the cost was $***I later called the number on the gate motor and ordered t

Truly one of the worst company to work with!! Our kitchen fan has been broken since the beginning of June, and over the last months our case has been kicked around from department to departmentNo one ever contact us about where it is going and every time I call I'm waiting for min minimum before getting a live person, only to be told they are:
a) waiting for the part # from technician
b) looking for the part
c) still waiting to find the part
Then after months the latest version is they are now waiting for the part # from technicianAgain!!!

Purchased home warranty refused to cover a failed year old water (industry stated useful life of residential water heaters are 10-years) based on the observation from their designated plumber that a leaking roof vent penetration seal caused external corrosion due to race water contactThe corrosion rate of wrought steel in continuous contact with water is mils per year defining years to fail the outlet nippleThey had no rebuttal for the failure mode last gif other than “the plumber says so”This is a blatant case of deliberate breach of contract putting the burden of proof in me, using the blessing of ignorance as defense

Moved in on Thursday & discovered the fridge/freezer had brokenI lost hundreds of dollars of frozen foodThe previous homeowner had filed a claim for the fridge before I bought it, and said it was repaired at the close of escrowI have called Fidelity several timesThey offer nothing for food spoilageThey do not offer a temporary fridge eitherThe claim on this was from early August, as I understand itI'm now being told that the fridge cannot be repaired until September That is about a two-month turnaround for a home to have no fridge, yet has a home warranty that covers the fridgeThat is unacceptableToday I was told the previous owner has already had several claims on this same fridge in the pastThe fridge is unreliable (online reviews even show this) and needs to be replacedOther Home Warranty companies will replace after several attempts at fixingFidelity says they will only repairToday they said the only other option they can offer is to "cash out" and

This home warranty is very inefficient, take so long to book you appointmentsMy refrigerator is not working for almost months and still giving me appointments to replace pieces that had already been replacedKeep going in circlesI can't see an end on this
