I would never recommend Fidelity National Home Warranty! What absolutely terrible service! My air conditioner broke in June and it is now October and the unit still needs to be fixed My family spend many 100+ degree days this summer without air conditioning because of Fidelity's inability to move the claim forward I have waited on hold with their authorizations department for over forty minutes on two occasions before finally giving up on the call TIP: submit questions in their online form late at night - the graveyard shift employees actually respond quickly! Fidelity has sent the same company, Rose Heating and Air, out three times to take the exact same measurements and write up the same evaluation of the problem Rose Heating and Air told me that they refused to do the work, then wrote up a "proposal" that they wanted me to sign charging me $to install smoke alarms that I already have! I've been in tears on the phone with Fidelity's customer service trying to get someone to take action with Rose Heating and Air and was only told that they could transfer me to "authorizations," to wait on the line for 40+ minutes I finally got Rose Heating and Air to take off the fraudulent $charge and they are still charging me $to connect the condensate drain line to the new evaporator coil When I asked the Fidelity rep if this was a legit charge, he only responded that Fidelity didn't pay for it Really?!?

I had Fidelity home warranty service on my dishwasherThey sent a technician who replaced a partWhen he was gone, the soap dispenser began only working intermittentlyI called Fidelity again to inquire about the issueThey sent the same guy who said found no mechanical failureBut, the issue persisted when he leftI called again and Fidelity sent another tech who refused to try the dishwasher with soap in it to prove that it doesn't workTo shorten the story, I got inappropriately charged again for the service call fee which is $Here are the problems I have with Fidelity: No one informed me that there would be the second charge involvedThey had multiple chances for that I spoke with them on the phone multiple timesThey somehow messed up my work order and I had to call them back to request another work order after waiting daysIt's been almost a month and I'm stuck with this dishwasher that doesn't do the proper jobThe letter sent from Fidelity with a notic

The company does not live up to their contractI purchased a Comprehensive Plan which is with the most coverage
I had an AC go out June 11, I reported it to *** *** *** *** and told by their employee that they would have someone out within hours The serviceman set up the appointment for hours later but told me he probably could not repair it until the following day since he would have to get approval and possibly get partsBy then it would have been days without AC and possibly not even repaired at that time
We had to have a local AC repairman take care of the AC and *** said they would not cover it
The AC company that *** had called the request into is miles from the property when there are numerous AC companies within a few miles of the property and with some just blocks from the property *** should cover the cost since their AC serviceman could not service the request in a timely manner

Since the fourth of August my house has been without air conditioningI have called Fidelity times in the last days and have had three contractors come outI have been told that contractors have been dispatched when they have notI have been told that parts are ordered when they have not beenI have been told that no more than two contractors can work on one applianceI have been told a supervisor would call me and no one ever didThe following work orders have been submitted: Aug to ***, Aug to *** *** ***, Aug to *** *** *** again, and one that was originally sent to *** *** *** *** on 2* Aug but no one ever contacted me and it was re-submitted to ** *** on AugMy * year old has been to the emergency room for a heat rash as it's been over degrees and with the wild fires I can not open the windows in good conscienceThe compressor has been filled twice and lost all of the freonAt least 1* pounds has been knowingly leaked

A provider was sent to repair a drain leakThe leak was repaired incorrectly and we experienced another leak causing damage to our kitchenWe had a separate company come inspect the issueWe submitted the company's report of the problem on 01/18/It has almost been a month and our drain has still not been repairedWe have made several phone calls and an email to FidelityEach contact leaves us with no results and no timelineWe are also being told that the bad repair work done by Fidelity's provider will still come out of our deductibleAdditionally, the provider that did the work incorrectly charged about $and the company we hired quoted the exact same work at about half the costAs a Fidelity customer this cost discrepancy is very concerning

I submitted a service request on Tuesday evening, 5/23/for our refrigerator which went outA service person from *** came out on Friday, 5/26/He said he needed to order a fan and would not be out until 6/5/to install itI told him that would not be acceptable as we were without an refrigerator and I called FidelityWhile on the phone with them they transferred me to the authorization deptso the service person could speak directly to them and give them his diagnosis in order to possibly speed up the process and give me some other optionsThe service person became very agitated and aggressiveHe started screaming and yelling at me and I finally had to ask him to leaveThe person in authorization from Fidelity was on the phone the whole time and was appalled at what they heard, she said she would file a report immediatelyI spend the rest of the day on the phone between Fidelity and *** trying to get this resolvedI finally ended up speaking to a manager at Fidelit

Approached Fidelity National Home Warranty for kitchen appliances repairs as per contract statesProvided them with documents and information requestedSpent endless hours on the phone trying to get resolution and got nowhere! My contract is paid in full and I am entitle to a service guarantied but get NOTHING! On Monday 7/25/I had a lengthy conversation with Fidelity representative who assured me (100% as she put it) that all the repairs are going to be concluded on 7/28/The same day I had a call from a technician, appointed by Fidelity, informing me that parts are to arrive on 7/26/and all the repairs will be done by 7/28/Nobody showed up, nobody called! They blame everything and everybody: I am tired to hear excuses about the technician they blame for work not done: Fidelity chosen and picked those technicians and have to take responsibility for situationI live with no working appliances for a month! My family has a strict dietary needs and food has to be prepared

Terrible Service; does not honor contract
I reported and was 'approved' to have our refrigerator repaired one month agoLiterally one month ago and the refrigerator is still not repairedCalling customer service is a nightmareThe have told me estimated repair dates that have continued to be changedI feel very frustrated that I have no leverage to have a repair company fix our refrigeratorWith so many negative reviews, how is this scam business still operating? I recently incurred loss of monies due to the improper processing of a home warranty claim

We discovered our water heater was leaking which was causing damage to our floors and it took four days and a lot of phone calls to finally get someone outWhen the repair tech came out and checked the water heater he said it needed to be replaced and it is an old water heaterAfter talking to his supervisor he told us he can't replace it because Fidelity want allow it that he has to "cap" the leak which he said is just like putting a band aid on it and as old as the water heater is it is going to go out soonHe said the faucet on the water heater is obsolete now because its old and not used anymore that they are garbageHe told us the water heater needs to be replaced sooner then later but they are at the mercy of what Fidelity allowsWe feel like we have a ticking time bomb on our hand because Fidelity does not want to pay to replace itWe had so much trouble getting someone out this time and now have to rip up our floors I can only imagine what is going to happen when it break
