There are so many things wrong with this company but let's begin with the basicsThe wait times are outrageous, more than once I was on hold for over minutes and when the line picked up it would be immediately disconnectedThe staff simply does not care about their customersFrom June - November I made over calls and callback requests from staff and management and each time I was treated with a short and rude responseCome to find out nearly a year later the issue they sent different AC companies to fix was done with a patch job that has caused more water damage in my home, and since I OBVIOUSLY went with a new company this year, Fidelity refuses to step up and rectify this situationNow my home owner's insurance company has to take legal action against Fidelity and its contracted providers to resolve the issueDo not waste your time here

I have been trying since July 2, 2017, to get an authorization number to proceed with air-conditioning repairs covered under my home warranty, with no success

We have not been able to really enjoy our home due to the long hot (106-degree) summer days with no A/CI contacted FNHW early June and informed them of our a/c not blowing out cold airThe tech with *** *** *** *** *** schedto come out until 6/27/The tech came out and determined we needed to replace the Compressor or the UnitFNHW Rep*** called me a few days later and decided to offer replacing the Compressor as it would be cheaper but I would have to pay $out of my pocket for miscitems and service not covered under warranty, not to mention the $service fee.*** never contacted me so I called and spoke to*** a couple days later to find out the status and was told they were waiting on order from FNHW but they would reach out to them and get back to meA week later I had to call and speak with*** ***again and he said they were waiting for parts and scheduled my apptfor 7/27/and tried collecting my payment over the phoneFinally ESHA

No wonder these guys have such horrible reviews onlineTheir "service" department can't even communicate with their insured when decisions have been made about their claimsIt's hard enough to get through to an actual person on the phone, but dealing with their bad attitudes is just the icing on the cakeAlso, their website is something straight out of the dawn of the internet, it's glitchy, slow, and frankly embarrassing for any serious company in this decade*** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** * *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ***

Unbelievable customer serviceThis company deserves zero stars and an F ratingThe contractor they sent to us was caught on our cameras doing absolutely nothing but "said" he did, we get stuck with a bill because its not covered under warrantyWhen I spoke to a supervisor at Fidelity the supervisor was on the contractors side and said I can seek an attorney if I need to and that I have no reason to be concerned and blamed me for being upset that we were stuck with a bill and nothing was completedIt should be fidelitys responsibility to take care of their customers and they don'tand the supervisor was rude, wouldn't provide me a reference to the call or initial of last name, he wouldn't do anythingFidelity is a scam, their service is a scam, their contractors are a scam, waste of dollars to be added to our mortgagePathetic

As part of my purchase of my home (3/31/escrow closed) a Fidelity Home Warranty was included in the purchase priceI was happy to have the home warranty as it gave me peace of mind about my home purchase - that things would be fixed if they didn't workIn June of 2016, after having used my oven once, a flashing "door locked" warning appeared on the control panel and the oven would not work -- i.e., to turn the oven on, you use the control panelSince the control panel was not functioning, the oven would not turn onI contacted Fidelity Home Warranty (FHW) and set up an appointment with a repair technicianAs of today's date, the oven is still not working - I have been w/o an oven for four (4) months nowI have been diligent in contacting FHW to follow up on the statusThe last time I heard from FHW on Oct17, I was told that the oven was deemed to non-repairable and would be replacedI was further told that the claim was with the purchasing deptand I would hear in 2-bus

I've had a home warranty with Fidelity since 6/20/ When the hot water heater went out on New Years day, 2015, we had prompt service and even though we had to pay out of pocket they covered it and reimbursed me However, in Feb of 2016, on the 8th I filed a service claim for the built in microwave at my home and one or two days later I had to file a claim for a stoppage Today 2/25/16, I still do not have a working microwave and my plumbing issue is still an issue I am out over $because the plumbing company they sent out couldn't find the ground level cleanouts or the sewer line in or days They broke the hall bath toilet by using a snake and it came through the toilet and punch a hole in it The snake was almost in my hallway, when my husband yelled at them to stop I have a huge hole in the front yard where they assumed the sewer line was and was not I have not been reimbursed for anything from the plumbing company and I had to hire other plumbing company to come to the house and take care of the stoppage They found the cleanouts and the sewer line with in minutes of being at the property and they showed up when they said they would I sent them the bid from the other plumbing company and the person I spoke with today stated that they would cash me out at $and that is all they will cover I've been told to go directly to Dispatch home services, the first plumbing company to collect the cost of the damage and the new toilet All that company wants is a copy of the estimate from the top notch company to see if they can come up with a proposal to make me happy Worse customer service I have ever received They claim to be there 24/but most of the time, I have to wait in access of minutes to talk to someone and then nothing is done Horrible company I will not be renewing with them this year They have promised to have "***" call me today about the complaint against the other plumbing company and their purchasing department regarding my microwave Regardless if I receive those calls I am not happy with the service they have provided with the microwave or the plumbing issues Dispatch home services that was sent to our home (the first company) has a D rating with the *** I have filed complaints with ***, my bank for quality of service, with Fidelity and I will also be filing a complaint with the TExas State Board of Plumbers Examiners

They offer services to make a mess and then not put it back together againYou pay for the technician to come, make a repair and then the company doesn't cover the cost for repairs to walls or base boardsShoddy workmanship

We purchased our home on July and paid for premium coverage with Fidelity Home WarrantyI have to say that this company is the worst home warrantyI called them about times and all the contractors that they have are dishonestThey don't fix the problem and all Fidelity does is charge the $feeThey're just there to collect your moneyIt's better to call companies that has good reviews on yelp than calling them for repairs needed for your homeThe worst is when I called for a roofer due to a leak when we have the big rainstorm in CAI called them twice and roofer never even showed upThere was a leak leading to a major damage to our home so I checked yelp and called a roofer to fix the roof, I called the water restoration for mold issues which by the way costs me a lot to fixWhen I complained about it to Fidelity, their response was that the roof is not covered when I'm sure that the roof was specifically added to my home warranty when we close escrowI'm really disappointed with this company

We purchased our home in September 2015, the seller chose FidelityThe first time we used the service was Tuesday April 19th after 4:30PM was when I placed my first call, I felt assured the first representative handled my call well and assured me broken water heaters are taken seriously and completed ASAPIn the end VARIOUS calls and NON URGENCY by the rest of the customer services reps, authorization department AND Service Provider (Practical Plumbing & Rooter ***)The service provider was unable to replace our water heater until Monday April 25th! We had been displaced for a week and your company expected us to be displaced additional time without recompenseAdditionally "YOUR ONLY" available service provider expected me to pay an additional $to get our water heater up to codeMy last call Thursday April to obtain a solution was to receive a payout of $within 7-10daysImmediately, I found a pluming company (A & A Plumbing & Rooter Service)) that was able to complete the entire service and provide all service to get water heater up to code for $1150.00… Your service provider (*** *** * *** ***) and Fidelity are gouging and manipulating your customers! In the end you DID NOT PROVIDE SERVICEYou are an inadequate company that does not have a sense of urgency and allows their service provider to take advantage of their supposed customersI have informed our realtor network to never use Fidelity

I called Fidelity national home warranty on July 20, @ around 4:30pst to file a warranty issue about my home AC not cooling my house and having kids in the house under the age of with the temperature outside being deg and it being in my house with my AC set to I let them know that it was over deg in my house and I have kids in the house and they said they would put a rush in and that they couldn't guarantee that someone would be out the same day but it not then forsure they guarantee Saturday, July 21,someone would be out to check it outI called today July 21,to see if someone was going to come out and they said that the earliest they could have someone out would be Monday July 23,

Fidelity is denying the covered claim stipulated in the contract in bad faith! I am very frustrated by Fidelity's service, and they employed these tactics to to deny a covered claim in bad faithFirst, their authorization office told me the pool check value was not covered, which is totally false, the POOL EQUIPMENT is covered under the policy, if it is uncovered, I would like to know the exclusion clauseSecond, this is a pool pump leak, the technician came over and fixed it on 2/26, and the leak recurred a few days ago, the technician came over yesterday and left me a note "Found issue with pump and will repair", but I received a call from Fidelity's office this morning stating there is nothing wrong with the pump, which is contradictory with the note by technicianI requested to call with the supervisor and the agent asked why I need to talk to his supervisor rudely, I did not get a call back from the supervisor, apparently their office is preventing me from talking to the superv

I notified Fidelity on Saturday November 18th, about our hot water tank not working and having no hot waterThey took down my information and told me that a plumber would contact me that day, no later than SundayOn Monday the Plumber finally called and came out to take a lookAt that point, Fidelity told them they would not cover this since the manufacturer warranty was still in placeWe bought this house this past June, and that manufacturer warranty is non-transferable, they told the plumber to just leaveI in turn had to call Fidelity back and tell them they would need to cover this since the manufacturer warranty was non-transferablePlumber came back out on TuesdayThey really didn't know how to fix the problem, since this was a Hybrid water heaterThey had to call the manufacturer to see what the error code wasThen they changed out the elements which did not solve the problemThe plumber then said they were shipping us a part, which never cameNow were at Saturd

I pay Fidelity Home Warranty $*** per year for a home warrantyI recently called for service to my evap cooler as it was not workingThey dispatched Air Standards out to take a lookThe day before they came out, a representative from Air Standards called to confirmI asked if I should clean the unit prior and they said yesI rinsed out the unit and left two of the outside panels off as they were coming the next dayWhen they came out, they looked and took pictures and told me I needed a new unitMy pulley wheel that holds the belt was rusted throughI asked if it was unusual wear and tear (as Fidelity uses this reason not to cover things) and I was told it was not unusual wear and tearThe next day, Fidelity called and told me it would not be covered as it appeared someone else did service on the unitI got a Supervisor on the line and explained I had cleaned it out and left the panels off for the service companyI was granted a second opinion from another service company, *

Avoid, avoid, AVOID this company(Did I mention avoiding it?)
We did all right with Fidelity for yearsBy all right, I mean we obviously paid more in than we got in returnBut that’s any insurance businessI still felt that companies like Fidelity were beneficial because they indemnify the cash- and credit-poor against owing thousands of dollars overnightThat was until todayTo replace my leaking water heater, which goes every years, Fidelity, in cahoots with Star Home Services of Las Vegas, announces that I must pay -- in addition to my $visit fee, which goes up $every year, and the $for the policy -- an additional $That's because replacing my water heater requires the removal and re-installation of a water recirculation pump that won't even get replaced(The past three times Fidelity had my water heater replaced, this pump was removed and replaced at no charge.)
When I spoke to Fidelity, they wouldn't budgeBut after crying foul to Star, I got them down to $for the minutes of extra work and they acted like I owed them a huge thank-youWe are not renewing our home warranty with Fidelity this yearI can’t see recommending this company for any service other than emptying your bank account

I purchased a home in December and a home warranty was purchased thru this company from the sellerAfter speaking to the company on Feb 28th regarding a warranty issue with my plumbing needing fix, I was told since I didn't agree with their plumber estimate of charges that I would be given the opportunity to use another plumber of my choice and Fidelity would pay for the estimate cost that their plumber gave themSince I was being charged for a modification I would be responsible for the charge of the modification and Fidelity would pay for the restNow that I've had other other plumbers to check out this problem, I am being told that the modifications that I was told I needed is just added cost the company is charging me and no modifications is neededI feel this company is packing on charges to make me pay to cover the work that needs to be done

This is the WORST company ever! Their customer service, the timeliness of claims and repairs, and their overall service is horrible! I am more livid thay I have to rate them star when they don't deserve any stars at all! I have called them in June because my a/c unit is not workingIt is now August and no one has come to repair itThey state because I have dual a/c units it is not an emergencyWhat they do not realize is one a/c unit is not going to cool the whole house and is only setting up the a/c unit that is working, to fail! My elderly mother-in-law stays with us and sadly is living on the east side of the house that does not have a/cI call every other day and I am given some BS excuse blaming the service company for not giving the right part number, it took the service company days to get back to them with the correct information, they ordered the wrong part number and have to reprocess it again, they have to transfer me to the authorization because it looks like the pa

I have a Fidelity National Home Warranty policyMy year old AC stopped workingThey sent out a technician to look at it, and he refilled the freon, gave us an invoice and leftHe never tested the AC to see if that worked and it still wasn't, so they sent out him back outHe said the compressor was badHe informed us that he would tell Fidelity and they should send him the part and he'll be back in about a week to install itHe left us no paperwork about the visitA few days later, Fidelity called to inform us our claim was denied because the AC tech reported to them that a sprinkler had been hitting the AC unit and that caused the part failureThey say he spotted rust on the unit, however the rust is on the back side, facing the house, where they're are no sprinklersWe were never told that by the technician and have no invoice stating that a sprinkler was in any way involved in the failure of the partWe called the technician ourselves, however he will not return our phon

Since moving into our home in August we have had issues several times with our upstairs AC unitIncluding a couple weeks ago which required a substantial repair to the outside unitLess than two weeks later, the AC had issues againThis time it was the air-handler inside and it was determined it needed to be replaced due to a freon leakBecause of *** Law, if the air-handler gets replaced, the exterior part of the system needs to be replaced as wellFidelity has offered to replace the air-handler, but refuses to cover the outside unit since they deem it "working"Given the proximity of the two issues, I find it hard to believe the leak on the air-handler was not present at time the outside unit though since it wasn't inspected at that time there is no way to know for sureIt seems ridiculous that with the number of issues we have had with the AC, the fact we have their highest "comprehensive" coverage, their mission statement, and email exchanges stating that this should be

On 09/I contacted Fidelity regarding my air conditionerThe vendor they sent was not able to correct the issue because they did not have the proper partsThe parts would arrive and service would be done 10/or 10/Temperatures have been over degreesI requested authorization for another vendor and/or temporary relief while awaiting partsTemperatures in the house were reaching to degreesI called them multiple times and each time they indicate a supervisor or manager would need to authorize and they would call me backNobody has called me backThis will now be days in these living conditions which threatens the health and safety of me and my familyThey have breached their contract to provide service and have put me at risk in doing soThis is gross negligence
