got repeated runaround from company, plumbing contractor and sales rep ***we have been without hot water since july 1, called for service, took days to get plumber out, said needed a part, but no follow uprepeatedly called the company and rep for status, subjected to outrageous hold times only to be transferred and more wait timecalled twice a day every day, no one ever calls backone day they tell us they are waiting on plumbers reports, then I had to keep calling plumber (boss plumbing) to get report sent, finally sent report only to be told needs authorization, there goes another day, then called again and told its up to the warranty to pay for partand I said it took all week to figure that out? so more delays and runaround, meanwhile no one calls me about anythingI repeatedly told them time is a factor bc we will be leaving on holiday soonthis is soooo egregious I cant believe they would subject customers to this horrorto add insult to injury when we first called

Unwilling to cover repair of heater after technician diagnosed malfunction
I opened a service request with FNHW in November before my contract expired for a malfunctioning LG indoor/outdoor heating unitAfter months, once my contract had expired, they finally identified a company and technician who can come look at the unitThe initial visit was $The technician agreed the unit was malfunctioningThe unit makes a strange noise for about minutes, followed by a huge burst of airDuring this time, no hot air is blowing, meaning the function is intermittentThe technician spoke with LG, but they told him this was behaviorAlthough the technician did not agree, this is what he told FNHWI did not hear from either the technician or FNHW until I called them on March 7, even though I made several attempts in February and left voicemailsFNHW closed the service request as resolved when the technician told them the heater was functioning normallyDespite my insist

I have been a customer with Fidelity National Home Warranty since I am now finding that their customer service has become absolutely unacceptable We have an attic fan that is not functioning, and we are in a heat wave here in *** *** While the technician was prompt and helpful, his submission to the company for approval has NOT been reviewed for days I called on 7/and asked for expedited review I have NOT received any updates I have now been on hold today, 7/16, for minutes and then the call was cutoff I am now on hold AGAIN Unacceptable

They avoid paying claims and making repairs!

Fidelity sent a plumber for main line stoppage on 8/20/and 8/21/but they were both incompetent in fixing the issueI hired a second opinion on 8/22/and paid $*** for a professional and competent technician to fix the main line stoppage with a power snakeI sent the invoice for reimbursement via email on 8/22/and called on 8/24/and they informed me that they cannot locate the receipt via emailThis is horrible customer service and should be able to locate all receipts for things do not get easily lost via emailWould like to expedite the check for reimbursement due to the financial inconvenience of paying my own plumber for $***

On 2/I found leak in my guest toilet and I called and placed the service Work order ***On 2/plumbing contractor came and replace a supply line but there was still a leak in the connection of the bidet seat which they didn’t identifySo I called again that night for a recallThey came again on 2/and tried to fixed thaton 2/morning I found the leak is still there and I called againThey came yesterday and wasn't able to fix itToday 2/I was trying to pay my service fee and I saw there are two service fee due for the same INCOMPLETE jobI called fidelity and have been told it’s because first time they are replacing a supply line and second time they are fixing the connection but it’s their job to identify all the leak at the first time and got it fixedI request the service for fix the leak but not replacing the supply lineIt’s the same issue and has NOT been fixedand Fidelity place a hold on my contract just because I called and want to remove the duplica

Called fidelity home warranty because fan had rattling noisesRepairman diagnosed the operation failureI wrote down at the time the repairman's exact words as " the housing unit is unbalanced causing rattling sound"Home warranty states that it is not covered repair because (1) noises are not covered (2) exhaust fan motor is operating correctlyBut contract does not state that noises are not covered or that coverage is limited to exhaust motorHere is wording Ceiling/Whole House/Exhaust/Attic Fans (Built-in) Covered: All parts and components that affect operation (replaced with builder’s standard)Not Covered: Light kits and remote transmittersFan is not operating properly because of "housing unit" being unbalanced Only part not covered are light kits and remote transmitters

I contacted them to file a complain that the light fixture in my bathroom is not workingI specifically told them the problem is in the light fixtureThey dispatched a company to diagnose the problemThe electrician said the problem is the light fixture which is not covered under warrantyI told him and told fidelity I knew the problem is with the light fixture from the get to when I called to file a claim and I mentioned that to you, so why did you dispatch and why are you asking me to pay the $** visit fee? Not sure how they are in businessNothing is covered, it's not even a home warrantyGuess they still in business because they scam everyone of $Outsourcing tiny hole in the wall contractors, "oh you wont be chargedOh its covered under warranty." A very bad customer serviceI had an electric issue at my home and then when I called them I clearly mentioned them I was trying to fix a outlet and I messed up1st rep confirmed it is fine, mistakes happen we will come n see what it is and get it rightScheduled an appointment for visit in 24hrs but the guy did not show up , so they called n rescheduleThe technician came after 3daysHe opened the outlet and said some one opened it , I said I did and I had mentioned to the customer support guy tooHe took his sweet time and this guy said, Fidelity only asked him to check and give a write upSo he is just going to write up and send the note to FidelityThey will go over n then decideReally I felt like I was a dumb guy n Fidelity has cheated meMy question was what is the reason to charge me 75$ fee to come , see n give a writeupwhen I had actually told them I was trying to fix an outletCustomer service rep called me to say they cannot fix the issue as it was a human error and not natural cause and she was very rude, "sir you better read your agreement" and she hung upi was looking for another agency and these guys called me every days asking me to renew and they are the best in USNow after renewing I cannot cancel as they don't provide any refund as I have already paid them $of my payment*** *** *** *** *** *** The rating for these agency is starI dont know how they could have these policies and one of the worst customer service reps

Contacted home warranty insurer concerning failed light in over-the-stove microwaveGave all requested informationCompany sent out service person who did nothing more than get the model number of the unitSubsequently, I was informed the failure was not covered, and I was charged $** for a "service call." When I complained that the representative should have known the product well enough to tell me the issue was not covered and that the representative could have asked for the model number over the phone (obviating the need for the "service" call), I did not get a reasonable responseThe person to whom I made the complaint simply kept repeating that, since someone was sent, the $** was owed, regardless of circumstanceFrom my perspective, the insurer went out of its way to set up conditions to charge $** by systematically avoiding gathering information (model number) or dispensing information (light kits are not covered)

I filed a service request to repair a leaked pipe to Fidelity National Home WarrantyThey denied the claimI paid the plumber that Fidelity sent over to investigate the situation $to get the pipe repairedAfter complaining about this claim not being covered, Fidelity later resolved it by approving the claim and agreeing to reimburse the cost, but only $When I called, Fidelity customer service explained that they only pay a discounted price to vendors, not the full retail priceThis would not have been an issue if the claim was approved to begin withFidelity should pay the full amount of the cost for my repair since the work order was filed and denied first when it should have been covered
