Open up service request 12/20/with Fidelity National Home Warrantyreceive call from * * *** to come out to diagnose what was actually going on with the washer technician has photos and description as to what was wrong with the unit* * *** comes back to my home on January 12, with ONLY half of the parts to see if what was sent if that works.UNFORTUNATELY the technician needed other parts from first request to finish the initial order from the first requestNow the technician has to go back and ORDER parts that was requested from the first diagnosis from 12/20/This will have gone on for a month that I have been without a washerWarranty number *** and a $*** fee for service claimAnd still having to wait a Month words travel

Don't waste your moneyHad a gas leak in the water heater that was verified by gas coand two contractorsThey denied the responsibility saying that the heater works (not correctly mind you)Sure if you like the smell of gas 24/through the control unitI replaced the water heater at my costListen to the reviews and maybe we can put them out of business

This company is BADYou will pay more than four hundred dollars up front Customer service is worstThey are UNETHICALWait time is huge and service is non-existenceSupervisor will send the technician to check the problem for earlier serviceService provider didn't gave any service as they came as recall of earlier service and says no payment needed but company will send you the bills anywayThen your call and stupidity startIt's waste of your time and money:(

We have had a warranty on our house since we purchased it in Recently, we renewed the warranty for an additional yearWe made a service request for a plumber to look at our broken garbage disposal as well as a constantly running/leaky toiletUpon the contractors completion of the job, I wrote a personal check made out to *** *** in the amount of $** (our service fee per contract)The check was cashed as shown on our bank statement as well as bank provided pictures of deposited checkSomewhere along the line, *** *** and Fidelity have not communicated that the fee was paid and our account has been put on hold due to past due service feeI have gone through Fidelity's webpage and filled out the "Contact Us" form three different times and have not heard backI spoke to someone on the phone over a month ago and emailed their requested proof of payment (bank statement and cashed check image) and our account is STILL on holdI call Fidelity and am sent to voicemail w

On Aug 24, our main drain in the house backed up, and water from showers, toilets, etc was coming up the drain the in the basementWe called right awayNo contractor could come out that dayThe next day I reached out to the Fidelity numerous times checking to see if/when a contractor would be out to fix the drainThey could not get a response from any of their local contractorsThis was not a holiday, or a weekendIt was nearing the end of business hours and I finally received authorization to use my own contractor if I could get one out that dayI found one that could come outThey didWe followed all the steps for diagnosis, authorization, phone calls and paperwork that Fidelity neededThey authorized the workThe contractor did only the authorized workWe were very clear that only the authorized work be doneMe, my husband, the contractor and the person with Fidelity in authorizations were all in agreement on what was to be doneContractor finished work, we

First of all, how does this company get an A+ rating with the Revdex.com when out of reviews are negative?
Second of all, as everyone here is saying, DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY PLAN FROM FIDELITY They use horrible, inept contractors and they do not stand by their workWhen you call to get some resolution, all they do is give you the runaroundInstead of fixing the problem, they offer to submit a new work order for another service feeAlso, when I set up the initial service call, I asked to have my fireplace switch fixedThe electrician came out only to tell me that he doesn't work on those, even though it is an electrical wall switchIf not an electrician, then who?? When I called Fidelity, they said they don't fix those Well then why didn't they tell me that in the first place? I'm using FNHW for about years now and was always happy with the serviceThere was a problem with the most recent insurance service callI started a dispute by call, email and mail in April Never heard back from the FNHW so I was under the impression that this is resolved and somebody just forgot to write me backNow months later I wanted to open another claim and got told by different service representative that I need to pay the outstanding service fee or my account stays "on hold" for the disputed chargesThey didn't offer any other solution to resolve my open dispute (which I didn't know it's still active)

Paid $** service fee on 5/for service performed on 5/Toilet was overflowing every other dayPlumber indicated new toilet was needed but cleared the backupCompany did not authorize replacementToilet back up occurred again after two days, so a “callback” scheduled per the terms of the contractPlumber cleared the back up again and indicated again that a new toilet was needed or the problem would continue to occurCompany is now billing me for an additional $** and has suspended my account even though the original problem was never repairedThe plumber indicated a new toilet was needed but company refused to approve the repairI purchased a new toilet and paid all fees out of pocket for toilet and the installationBut the company wants Additional fees when the problem was never fixedEach time I contact the company I am placed on hold for over an hour and transferred from department to department with each transfer comes an additional extremely long hold/wait time

BewareThis company sent non-credible plumberHe didn't even know a gas valve is in violation of California building codeWhen I asked how they picked the contractor, they said it's based on "customer review"I told them the Yelp review is only stars for this plumbing company, they said they don't use Yelp, but their own reviewAlso, they didn't cover expedited shippingIt has been days now (it's winter), we're still waiting for gas valve control part, and for days we don't have hot waterGo somewhere else, don't buy policy from this company

I made an appointment for *** to come and fix the dishwasher around wks ago for today between & Pm on 1/12/I am a per diem worker so I had to ask for this time off in order to be home and I am not getting paid if I do not workI waited on the serviceman as I was supposed to till 4:pm no one called or came then I called fidelity customer service and talked to *** the customer service she put me on hold to call *** for minutes the she told me *** is behind and will come between & &pmOf course I got upset because no one called me to let me know but I did not have any choice since I did not want to postpone the repair and had to take off work for another dayLater tonight I received a message from the service person that he is not coming because it is too late and I should call *** to rescheduleWhat kind of service is that?

Negative Review - I have been attempting to have a service request taken care of for over a month now It involves my refrigerator freezer compartment I have NOT been able to use the freezer during this entire time There have been several service techs attempt to resolve the issue but to date none have been able and the customer service individuals at Fidelity have been no assistance The wait tome for Authorization is absolutely ridiculous, each time I attempted to contact Fidelity my wait time was well over minutes I would Never recommend this company to any of my family or friends!!

Fidelity Home Warranty company has used inexperienced contractors to work on my central air conditioning unitI live in Phoenix Arizona and filed a work order in JulyIt is now end of September and my A/C unit is still not working properlyWe have experienced 120° in July to 100° as of today I have payed over $out of pocket expenses to have "re-work" complete and including $in monthly electricity billsThe Fideltiy has experessed zero compassion that I have to work in heat conditions, have a child under the age of 3, pets, and my spouse has a medical conditionWe want the issue resloved as soon as possible and do not understand the constant miss diagnosis with inexperienced technitions and delay of service along with lack of sense of urgency pertaining our businessThis has been a severe unprofessional experience I would not recommend this business to anyone

Horrid customer service/support Recently purchased home, seller provided FNHW to cover appliances and HVAC Home inspector recommended getting HVAC full inspection ASAP That turned up a need to replace the furnace completely FNHW approved During installation, contractor discovered the AC evap coils were completely fouled beyond repair FNHW will cover, but will ONLY cover the newer R410A type My AC system is the older Rtype New coils will be incompatible with old compressor FNHW does not cover incompatibility...even when it is THEIR CONTRACT coverage causing the incompatibility So, now after weeks, multiple hours spent on HOLD waiting to speak with FNHW, with NO AC or heat (The furnace cannot be installed until the coils are replaced), I am resigned to the fact that I will have to pony up the addition $$$ to replace the AC compressor Honestly, what good is their warranty? None Don't buy or accept a warranty from this company

I file a claim for my AC on 07/05/2018, After having technician to my home and waiting over a month my AC is still not workingThe first person came to my home on 07/he started a test and stated that he will need to come back out to check the test in order to know where the leak wasHowever, instead of coming back outHe sent a authorize claim to replace the whole AC that is years old which had a out of pocket cost to me of $I did not trust this companyAfter calling the home warranty company multiple times (waiting on hold over hr each time) and speaking to different rep who tried to convince me that the claim was correct and that I needed to pay the moneyI force to have another company come outThe 2nd guy that came out, simply stated he would do the work because the company did not tell him it was for a 2nd opinionHaving to call back multiple times again and requesting for another company the 3rd tech came out, who stated that unit DID NOT need to be replace

I submitted a service request for some electrical repairs on 10/22/I was told by the company assigned to perform the work by Fidelity that they had no availability and I needed to ask Fidelity to assign someone elseI contacted Fidelity on 10/and asked for a new company to be assignedI was told they were looking for a new company and would contact me within hoursAfter not hearing back, I again contacted Fidelity on 10/24, was told they were still looking and somebody would be contacting me by the end of the dayAfter again not hearing back, I contacted Fidelity on 10/and was told that my request was being expedited and I would for sure hear back by the end of the dayAgain I was not contactedI called Fidelity today (10/28) and was informed that they still haven't found anyone and would contact me for sure by the end of the dayTo date I have made multiple phone calls regarding my service request and have not received any contact in response - either by email or b

Truly one of the worst company to work with!! Our kitchen fan has been broken since the beginning of June, and over the last months our case has been kicked around from department to departmentNo one ever contact us about where it is going and every time I call I'm waiting for min minimum before getting a live person, only to be told they are:
a) waiting for the part # from technician
b) looking for the part
c) still waiting to find the part
Then after months the latest version is they are now waiting for the part # from technicianAgain!!!

I am in total agreement with the negative reviews Average wait time on the phone was in excess of minutes each time I called The shortest was minutes the longest was one hour plus and I was then disconnected When the AC went out they said that the earliest they could get someone out was weeks in hot Sacramento Unacceptable I found numerous companies willing to send someone out that day and picked one who did the best they could to get us cooling My claim was denied since I didn't have permission to go outside their network After several calls and hours on hold I was finally told to call an outside vendor and have the vendor call them with a complete diagnosis The vendor tried to get them on their vendor line only to find the same issues I did I finally called the vendor line and after over minutes got to talk to someone who took all my information and said he would call the vendor A week later after I had not received a call back I called and after about minutes talked to someone who told me that based on the information the vendor provided they would reimburse me up to $ The repair actually cost over $4,so I am out of pocket a significant amount After getting other bids I went with my original choice for repairs FNHW claims that they can get the job done for half because their vendors get so much business but they were unwilling or unable to give me the name of more than one network vendor who would work with them I feel totally ripped off by FNHW Their customer service is the worst, hold times extremely long and they don't seem to care one bit about you as a customer* *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** * ** *** *** ** *** *** *** ***

My home warranty (Fidelity national Home Warranty) set up an appointment with *** *** *** to call me around 8/3, they said someone from the company will be in contact with me in two daysNo one from *** *** ever called meOn 8/7, I received an email from Fidelity stating that I should have hard from *** *** by now and if not please contact them directly, they did supply the phone numberI contacted *** *** around 8/8, and set up an appointment with themA tech person did come out on 8/10, and evaluated what needed to be done, I don't have the tech's name but, the service work order number is:*** The tech told me husband that he did not have all the parts/supplies he needed, therefore he would come back the next day on his way home since he lived close to our house and he would do the work thenWe waited, and he never showed up and never calledI called on Monday the 14th, and said the tech never showed back up on Friday, the person that schedule

My realtor set us up with Fidelity National Home Warranty Our water heater stopped working on a sunday morning and I immediately called Fidelity They stated they were contacting their vendor and I would hear from them sunday or maybe monday; because this situation was an "emergency" The vendor never did contact me; I called them Monday AM along with Fideltiy The vendor stated that they did NOT work on weekends; and could not understand why Fidelity had made this referral The water heater was not repaired until Wednesday night 5PMI made several phone calls to Fidelity and they condescendingly told me "we can't control our vendor's schedules" and absolutely would not "rush" this service - - as stated on sunday amThe ratings on this company are horrible; yet realtors continue to make referrals for their clients You wonder why referrals are made to this company automatically at closing
