I’ve been a member for years I have checking accounts , my auto insurance and my home insurance through you I did have a credit card which I recently paid off Back in I had 2-credit card advances I have continued to be charged every month for both interest on the advance and separate interest on my balance and I’ve not complained I paid off this card two weeks ago Today I got charged $for interest on credit card advances I’ve talked to three different people regarding this at usaa and they all refuse to drop the charge When I asked how you could charge for something that you couldn’t say I still had a balance on I was told that was how they do it When I said I had clearly paid off my few cash advances ten times over and it made no sense to continue to be charged interest I was told that’s how it’s done When I asked why then, did I not get another charge on the overall balance, no one could answer my question I threatened to close all of my accounts over this and not one person felt this mattered years I have been a customer and theyve made a ton of money off of me yet they can’t waive a $interest charge that you can’t even differentiate as to when a cash advance is paid off I served my country and stayed with them because they seemed to care about your customers yet they want to try to get another $out of me over something they can’t even explain How can they say my multiple monthly payments that more than covered a few cash advances didn’t cover them enough to not continually charge me interest for and even after I pay my entire balance off they continue to charge interest for.??? Well, buyer beware! I am now in the process of finding other auto and home insurance Rest assured I’m complaining to the Revdex.com , the federal trade commission and any other government entity that is relevant to this and I’m making sure people know what theyre really about! I can’t even get a manager to bother to talk to me over this! Ridiculous!

I have been a USAA member for an extremely long time; however, my interest rates for my credit card has been kept extremely high, despite a high credit score I have received numerous offers for USAA credit cards that advertise lower APR than what I currently have with my current USAA credit card, but when I try to switch, representatives state that I cannot because I have a USAA credit card already

My husband (veteran and USSA member) and I (authorized user) did not authorize USSA bank to automatically debit EACH MONTH our personal credit union checking account to pay our USSA monthly VISA payment I (*** ***) paid a one time automatic payment online from my personal credit union account to USSA visa in 09/in the amount of $ This was in no way blanket permission authorizing USSA to access and deduct from any account in mine or my husband's name Since 10/we have sent a personal check each month from our joint checking account at a different financial institution as we no longer use the credit union checking account This month December my husband mailed a credit card payment on 12/4/to USSAIt was not posted until 12/10/ We received notification today December 16th that USSA had accessed and debited our credit union checking account in the amount of $on December 8th We received an insufficient fund notification as this acc

I have been with USAA for years on account of my military family using them for years
Problem:
Last year on May 25th I tried to pay my credit card bill and the payment was rejectedI was hit with a late fee and I thought I had possibly just forgotten to pay itSo I tried againWithout fail, every time I attempted to pay my bill, it would be rejected and sent back to meAttempt after attempt forced me to call USAA for assistance with this problem
I was using the USAA app at first and then tried using the website, thinking that it was only an error with the appBoth failedI had always paid my bill online or through the appNo problems prior
What they told me when I called:
The problem is with your bank(I called my bank, spoke with tech support and my account was working fineI paid other non-USAA bills successfully)
Delete the bank account you're paying from, and add it back on (did this multiple times- still failed)

I had a credit card balance that I paid in fullThere were some back end interest charges that were charged to me after I paid the bill in fullI received a letter stating I owed in charges, and USAA was threatening to report me to a credit agency about interest I knew nothing aboutI paid the additional interest after finding out about itThey sent me another letter stating they reported me to a credit agency anywayWhen I pay a bill in full I expect that bill to be take care of, and I don't expect that bill to damage my credit report when I supposedly paid it off in fullThe letters from USAA were misleading, and when a client pays their bill in full, additional charges should not be appliedUSAA has lost a client of over years over dollars and cents

I resolved an old credit card account with USAA about months agoI've checked in with them numerous times, sometimes two to three times a week, each time with an hour long waitI get switched between the banking and credit card departments each stating that the other needs to clear my account in order to show that I've resolved the issues I had with themI am never able to get this resolved in order to access my account online and be able to see about getting their services once more

We're do I start with the terrible service that usaa bank provides after attempts to talk to a representative and a total of an hour and a half on the phone the issue with my credit card was not resolved disconnected times I was treated like crap and with no respect , talked to like I was an it I was told that my card was no longer valid because they sent a new one to me that has a chip in it even though my old card didn't expire for more months they put a block on it and I was unable to use it after my first calls I was told that the block was lifted and I could use the old card I tried to use it and again it was declined because of the block they issued me a $credit for the inconvenience once I got through to a supervisor he told me I shouldn't have been issued a credit and that I wouldn't get it now this company is the absolute worst credit/insurance company I've ever had to deal with everyone that I talked to gave me a different storyThey need to review there policies and better train there staff I would advise anyone to stay far away from USAA for anything unless you want the headache of dealing with them !!!!!

I purchased a mattress from Sears and ended up returning the mattress Sears never refunded the purchase to my USAA account After a month, I filed a dispute with USAA to remedy the transaction USAA investigated the transaction and initially responded with "no error occurred." The investigation didn't take into account my purchase and return receipts nor contact Sears to remedy this issue USAA advised me they were going to reverse the temporary credit of $2,on May 31, 2018; however, they reversed the credit on May 28, and sent me a notice the investigation is closed at my request I never requested the investigation to be closed I contacted them after they said "no error occurred" to appeal their decision They debited my account $2,three days prior to their stated date after I contacted them to appeal the conclusion from their investigation

My credit card has been paid off since may 4, 2016, with a zero balanceMay 24,I was charged a fee for cash advancesI don't owe anything so I'm not sure why I'm being charged the fee

After a year of being unable to log on to the online services, and numerous calls to resolve it over a period of about months (it would be fixed for us to log in on while on the phone with the CSR and as soon as we hung up, got locked immediately again) and having to call in payments that often took multiple days, multiple calls and transfers (a good month took an hour to pay the bill) they would not talk to my wife and take a payment from her, it got behind and the card cancelled

It was inconvenient, unable to be resolved, and in the end got to the point that I could not face the endless transfers, the hang ups and the hours on the phone without affecting my mental health
Lack of response, service and even ability to pay made doing so impossible Customer service is non existent, and it's a joke you guys are for the military
