My husband is active duty military and we file for our military benefits the SCRA on our USAA credit cardMy husband already applied for it when we first moved to our new PCS station in and it was applied to our car loans at the time, but they didn’t apply it to our credit card we have through themSo I reapplied for it in June and now they are saying we don’t qualify for it even though we have already done it on two of our loans through them and my husband is still active duty military

On January 17th at 5:55PM USAA sent me an email with the title “Fraud Alert: Call USAA about your Credit Card.” I did as instructed and learned that my credit information had been compromised and multiple transactions were attempted without my authorizationAfter speaking with the representative, I was assured that all charges on the card would be reviewed and all fraudulent charges would be credited back to my account
I diligently checked my account online over the next two weeks and noticed many adjustments and credits that I could not keep track ofIn addition to the fraudulent charges, the authorized transactions were also credited because they had to be transferred to the newly issued credit card

I was online www.usaa.com and was applying for a secured credit card I am trying to improve my credit I read that I would put $or more on a credit card and it would be a secured credit card so I said I would put $on a secured credit card next thing I know usaa takes out $for a $secured credit card that is not what I agreed to do I agreed to give $for a secured credit card of $ I don't need a credit card that bad I contacted customer service within an hour of noticing the $being taken out of my account and was told by customer service that I will be charged a fee for cancelling the secured credit card I just applied for it two hours ago I feel as if I was really misled

Having banked with USAA for many years I've noticed a definite downturn in the quality of their service in recent years - this was finally demonstrated to me this month when I paid off my USAA visa card and its $balance on Aug and found on Aug the same amount was withdrawn again from my local credit union account , having detected the error I called USAA and after much discussion & several representatives USAA stated that my money could not be returned to me until business days had passed ( despite the fact that it had been withdrawn in one business day and that it was clearly an error on their part ) , I was more than irritated being that USAA had cleaned me out of all the money I had in my credit union account and would likely be facing some over draft charges from transactions made in the previous couple of days - I went back to my credit union and arranged to stop payment on the duplicate withdrawal and had my money back in the credit union account the next day When I looked online today to make sure the matter was cleared on the USAA website I found they had added insult to injury by charging me a $returned check fee ! I called USAA and urged them to drop the fee which, amazingly , they did .Lesson learned , stick with your local banks and credit unions to hell with the big banks

On May 7, 2016, we received call from USAA asking if we had purchased something from Bloomingdales in San Francisco for $ We told them no and they erased the bill saying it was "fraud" Next month we noticed the account was still on our website and requested it be removed It was NOT removed, and charge was put back on our account We have made 7-phone calls to USAA, each time the call has been dropped afterr waiting 10-40min for response, and during phone call, they hung up! We also went to local USAA building twice, using camera and talking directly to service person Each time we were told they were dealing with it but would take 2-days, sometimes a week, and this last time we spoke to a *supervisor" who told us it would need to go through the system and would be cleared by August Today it is just the same, and now they are saying our payment is overdue!!

On or about April 14, I spoke with USAA underwriters regarding an application for a unsecured personal loanIt was made clear to the USAA representative responsible for taking my application that I had been carrying a significant amount of credit card debt during my time in graduate school and that I was seeking this loan to pay off my USAA credit card debt and structure the paymentsI further explained my work requires that I be bonded and the purpose of the unsecured line of credit was the payment of my outstanding credit card debt with the reasonable goal of increasing my credit score to qualify for said bonding
Upon the approval of my loan and my subsequent payment of $7,to my VISA USAA Credit Card, my credit limit was immediately dropped to $2,whereby now demonstrating that my balance to available credit was actually in a worse position then when I initiated the loan application processAdditionally, as a result of establishing the new loan my cr

Usaa offered me a credit card saying I could transfer any balance I had on other credit cards and I would have 0% apr until December I accepted the offer and when I asked them to tranfer my balance from another usaa credit card to the new credit card, the refusedI replied to the USAA employee that no where in the over the phone conversation with their representative they mentioned that I could not do a usaa to usaa credit card transferThe usaa employee agreed with me but said his hands were tied Also the same thing happened when I asked to speak to a managerI belive this is a fraudulent way of doing business and selling a product What I'm asking is for USAA to transfer my previous balance to my new 0% APR credit card they issued me, and give me what they offered me when I initially excepted this offer

On April 16, I received a text from USAA asking whether I made a $700+ credit card purchase to Pep BoysI texted back "N" and then called them and reviewed all charges and to report my CC fraudulentUSAA sent me a new cc but the $700+ amount from Pep Boys was transferred over to my new cardI have called USAA a total of times (total of minutes / 7+ hours) since to try to get this amount removedApparently, the customer service agents can't make any correction to my purchasesInstead, I have been told numerous times that a report has been made to the Advisors (back end department) and that someone will get back with me in 24-hours(I can’t tell you how many times I have heard that someone will get back with me in 24-hours) I have spoken to numerous customer service agents and supervisors who say they don't have these "advisors" direct lines therefore can only email a requestI am routinely transferred between the Fraud, CC (cre

USAA NationStar changed collectors I had automatic payments going to the collector I called USAA after seeing a late fee and they said that the late fee would be waived and that I would not be reported to any crediting agency I paid in full, advanced paid the rest of the month and started new payments to the new collector in accordance with USAA guidance I received a call within weeks saying I was late however after review while on the phone the representative saw that again it was USAA's fault and that they would again waive any late fee and not report it to any credit agency I called back several weeks later to verify no late fee and no credit report adverse action which USAA representative again guaranteed My credit report shows Jula day late charge for the account All phone conversations were documented according to the representative

I have reported fraudulent activity that has occurred on my account in June of A transaction have been made on my credit card without my authorization, and I reported it to the fraud deptThey did close out the card, and reissued me a new credit cardHowever, moths later USAA charged my new credit card with the same fees of $and $that was unauthorized by meI did contact USAA to get clarification about this transaction, and they stated my claim have been closed due to proof the merchant has providedI contact the merchant from the information that was given to USAA and that number was disconnected

I paid off my consumer loan and USAA reported my account as CLOSED instead of PAID AS AGREEDAccordingly, the error has dropped my credit scoreI would like for the correction to be made immediately so all reporting bureaus can report accurately that the account was PAID OFF and not closed
