On OCT 9th my USAA account was restricted due to a alarm from experian a about an inquiry dispute and I lost access to my accountI received a calls from a representative asking if I applied for the new account and I confirmed with them that indeed applied for those accountI was asked who are all the people listed on my account and I informed them that they are family and friends added to my credit card as a AUTHORIZE

My credit card was stolen and I was assured by USAA that they would investigate They credited my account the charge and was told their was nothing to worry about Now they are saying that their was no fraud on the account and are going to take money from me I have had to CANCEL my debit card because of this and eBay even stated that their was fraud and helped me re-secure my account I have been a loyal member of USAA for a decade and they have completely let me down

I agreed to a settlement with USAA credit card services and received written agreement with USAA on July 13, The original amount of the credit crd balance was $8,and the agreed settled amount was for $4,to be paid no later than July 9th, A check with my name on it in the amount of $8,was mistakingly sent from my escrow account late July and USAA verified it had received the check in the beginning of August I had called USAA Recovery Department on several occasions to follow up on the disimation of the check and refund Each time, I was told the team handling this matter was reviewing how to handle the refund and I should receive a check in approximately to days
The last time I called (4th time) USAA addressing how the company already had the check for over days and it was approaching almost days, I was then informed someone had decided I was not entitled to the refund of money in the amount of $and that USAA decided

We were offered over the phone a deal on 0% balance transfers When speaking with the representative, I specifically asked about future purchases on the card and if that would affect the 0% interest on the balance transfer I was assured it would not affect it and that we could make additional purchases without imperiling this deal We were then charged interest on the additional purchases even though we made a payment, because they applied the payment to the balance transfer and not new purchases What this does is essentially force us to pay down the balance transfer immediately to avoid interest on the new purchases, defeating the purpose of the deal When we contacted customer service, they said this language was in their fine print, which was not told to us over the phone, and that we should not use the card for additional purchases, which again was not mentioned with their agent This is essentially a bait and switch, leaving out very important information in their sales pi

On February 9th I tried to add my checking account on the USAA mobile appI was trying to pay my balance of dollars off before the days was up to prevent an interest charge A few days later I got an email saying that the account did not add successfully and I was charged an interest payment and dollar check return feeThey removed those chargesI tried adding my account a second time and the same thing happened yet againI spoke with a USAA customer service rep and she said that the account information was entered incorrectlyBut before that she said that the routing number was wrongWell what is it the routing number or the account number? They are trying to charge me another dollar return check fee for the account not successfully addingThis time they refused to remove the return check fee

I have been with USAA for years on account of my military family using them for years
Problem:
Last year on May 25th I tried to pay my credit card bill and the payment was rejectedI was hit with a late fee and I thought I had possibly just forgotten to pay itSo I tried againWithout fail, every time I attempted to pay my bill, it would be rejected and sent back to meAttempt after attempt forced me to call USAA for assistance with this problem
I was using the USAA app at first and then tried using the website, thinking that it was only an error with the appBoth failedI had always paid my bill online or through the appNo problems prior
What they told me when I called:
The problem is with your bank(I called my bank, spoke with tech support and my account was working fineI paid other non-USAA bills successfully)

I made a payment on December 8th for my monthly payment of $41.00,I paid more and instead paid $to help me get my payments paid offThen on December 11th I seen my bill on the couch and forgot I had paid it, so I made a second payment of $50.00! When I explained to them that I made a mistake and not only did I pay $on December 11th but that I had also paid my monthly payment ( which is $41.00) on December 8th! When I ask them to refund the money of $they said NO that they don’t refund any money ! When I said I had made a mistake and that I live paycheck to paycheck and the extra payment would put me negative on my bank account, which would then make or other payments to other bills go negative, they said NO! So I am making a complaint as I’m human and people make mistakes ! I have bene a customer of USAA for over yrsI have home owner insurance through them, a car loan, a checking account and credit cardI recently received a letter in the mail stating that my CC limit has been HALVED due to a recent pull of my credit reportThe letter also states that they are doing this to assist with my financial needs----they have now lowered the balance to a point that it is near maxed, instead of 1/of the balanceI have only been late two times for this card, accidents of my own/over lookingI cannot believe that I am being penalized in such a way considering the relationship I have had with this companyI now more than ever need to have the safety net of this card and they have taken that away from me

I recently took out an auto loan with USAA with an automatic payment agreement beginning March, Instead the first loan payment was deducted on February, One month earlier than the agreed upon dateThroughout the loan process which was both tedious and time consuming I was assured throughout of the March payment date After speaking with a supervisor with USAA's Executive Resolution Team (ERT) I was informed that the on line electronic contract stated an February start dateI attempted to explain that the representative I was working with assured me of the March date but the representative in question offered no reliefThe result is an unexpected and in my view, illegal withdrawal of from my checking account a full month earlier than the agreed upon date
