Sinemia cardless system does not work and customer service will not respond The only contact information is via email, but emails remain unanswered In order to use Sinemia, you need to get a temporary credit card number to purchase tickets The last times I have done this, the card has been rejected Sinemia will not respond to the issue, therefor the prepaid movies go unused and it is a waste of money

No Card Service Doesn't Work No Customer Support I read through the public complains below Almost all of them say the same thing: The promised card wasn't delivered The cardless program doesn't work No one at the company responds to email And so one My experience is the exact same I was promised a card It never came The company told me instead to use some cardless credit card number with an online company It doesn't work They have no customer service number So I can't call them It's a monthly service, for which I'm presently being charged, even though I've never received the promised card that would let me use this service I want a full refund and never to deal with them again

Sinemia is a disingenuous bait and switch company with extra fee traps We purchased two 1-year memberships which allowed us to watch movies per month at any theater of our choice The costs of the 1-year membership was a flat $per membership About months into our membership, we were informed that Sinemia would start charging $ticketing processing fee for each movie to cover They say its to cover ticketing processing fees charges by 3rd party ticketing services like Atom and Fandango, but we're Arclight members and we don't pay ticketing fees Even though we let the system know that we pay $ticketing fees, it (Sinemia app) still makes you agree to pay the $fee in order to complete the transaction That's an extra $a year if we use our allotted movies per month So our 1-year membership is actually $219, not $as agreed to If you fail to "check in" (I'm not sure why this is even necessary probably just a fee trap) at the theater they charge you an extortion fee of $to unblock the use of the advanced ticketing In their Term & Conditions they tell you they will charge you a fee, but not how much If you want a physical card to make it easier to buy tickets in advance or at the theater, they charge you $for the little plastic credit card If you have questions about their policies, they never respond This all sounds like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen to me

Misleading advertising, lousy customer service Physical card presented as optional, but once subscribed, there is no way to request one No activation fee advertised, but once subscribed, "accelerate cardless activation" fee of $required or you must wait weeks to use the serviceThis is extortion Non-existant customer service

I purchased this service (full years payment + immediate access fee) and it has never workedI have asked for help and also a refund and was refused I purchased this service on 08/16/and tried to buy movie tickets online on both 8/& 8/and their form of payment was denied by their own vendor (movietickets.com) I e-mailed and sent messages on twitter and no one resolved the issues I asked for a refund and was told they don't give refunds

Sinemia refuses to process a refund, and keep telling me to check with my bankThey have agreed to issue me a refund a month ago yet nothing happened When I signed up for Sinemia, I signed up for a family planThey incorrectly processed my order as an individual planWhen I went to the website to upgrade to a family plan, it turned out that the upgrade would only take effect one year from todayWhy would I want to pay for something one year in advance?? I emailed them and they said they would cancel this family plan upgrade and issue me a refund in the amount of [redacted] which was billed to me on 8/26/Since then, the refund has not been processed, even though I have checked with them weeklyThey are deceitful and unethical people and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone

I subscribed to Sinemia since July From the beginning, their customer service has been horrendous1) They advertised that you get a physical card but you also have a cardless optionHowever, it is only after you sign up for the service that they tell you that they no longer offer physical card2) This "cardless feature" has many other fees involved including convenience fees, and separate "processing fees" 3) Because you only have the cardless option now, you are forced to pay the convenience fee and the processing feeAll because they stopped offering the physical card option4) They did not advertise the separate processing fee and only implemented it AFTER months of using the service and will not refund your money5) They advertise that the family plan will allow you to see movies with other people but they do not advertise that you lose that other ticket if you go alone 6) They do not respond in a timely mannerI contacted them on Septand they would only respond two days afterThey drag a conversation until Octwhich no fair resolutionThey provide empty promises and "refunds" that let them keep 2/of the money you paidIs that even a refund? TL;DR: AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTTHEY ARE A BAIT-AND-SWITCH COMPANY! There is a class action lawsuit against them to prove it!

Within a month of subscribing to their annual membership package (people for movies per month), they changed the plan and now require paying an additional $per person processing fee on any online ticket purchased This was not the plan when I joined and the cost is unavoidable for online purchases They have an option for a physical card (costs $more to get), but that only prevents the fee if you use the card at the theater before-hand, but that's not what I signed up for I could do that with Moviepass, the reason Sinemia seemed like a better solution was I couldn't do online ordering with Moviepass, so when I got to the theater the movie was already gone or seats were bad Sinemia offered a solution at a comparable rate, but then destroyed that when they forced the additional $per person processing fee So that's $extra I have to pay for people PLUS if I see a movie at a theater that I don't get free online transactions with, then I have to pay for that convenience fee as well, so that could add another $to the cost This was not what I agreed to when I signed up but you ***'t get out of it, no refunds, and they won't honor the original agreement I understand if they needed to change their cost structure in the future, but they don't honor the original agreement nowwhich apparently means they will change more or charge more in the future without repercussions Also, it's very complicated to use their service You ***'t just decide to go to a movie, you really have to spend time in front of a computer and look up times, locations, and then work through the Sinemia app to login everything, get their card numbers, transpose all their information and then login/checkin again later at the theater Pain in the ***

Failure to provide promised services I purchased Sinemia on May 31st, To this day, I have yet to receive my Sinemia card to go to the movie theater and purchase tickets under their service I am forced to use an alternative "advanced purchase" on the mobile app which has the following issues plaguing it: - The "virtual" credit card will not work at times - The service is usable due to server issues - I am unable to attend other movies if I use advanced screening to pre-order ticketsMeaning that if I use advanced screening to get a ticket a couple weeks out, I can't purchase another ticket until that two week period has passed

I attempted to use the Sinemia app for the first time yesterdayI went to purchase the advance ticket, but it told me I must check in firstI checked in successfully when I got to the theatre, but I never received a credit card number to purchase the ticket, so I had to pay for it myselfcording to the app instructions, you should receive your credit card number as soon as you reserve the ticket, but it asked me to check in first and then never gave me a numberI've emailed Sinemia timesEach time I get the exact same message indicating I forgot to check inI checked in, but had to pay for my own ticket as I never received a cc number from SinemiaIt now says I've checked into the movie, but I haven't used any because I paid for it myself! I'm still due movies and I was also charged a convenience fee

I have tried to use this app 3 times after paying over $200. All three times were unsuccessful. All 3 times I emailed to and got no response.
I purchased in March 2019.
I attempted to use the app 3 times.
Once in April once in May and a final time In July. I have tried to email many times with no success in communication with anyone. My account with the bank I used to purchase is closed so I can't even get a refund if I did keep bothering then like some other customers have done through social media. I strongly believe they had no intention on actually providing any service.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be refunded in move tickets at the amount I was expecting *** or at least in the amount I spent total. 3 moves at 6 tickets and $200. Also for then to shut down the programs and stop scamming people.

NO card received, NO responses to emails, undisclosed fees charged When I signed up for Sinemia, the cardless feature was advertised, but it also said I could expect a physical card in the mail in days They even have this listed in their FAQ still that you can expect your card in days Yet they are saying now that their service is only cardless and they don't provide a card Cardless is great and all, but they don't tell you when you're signing up for the service that you're responsible for processing fees and you'll have to use third party websites to buy your movie ticketsThis is a shady business practice, and I want the physical card that I was expecting based off the information provided by your website when I signed up for this service
