The cardless feature rarely ever worksThen they added the processing fee without notification, which you may know about by now if you are reading thisAnd yes, it was without notification - if everybody using the service is blindsided by the same thing, that is probably a failure on the company's partHence the lawsuit Processing fees added mid billing cycle - extremely frustrating but I [redacted] swallow thatIn my case, even when the cardless info provided fails to work, the processing fee still goes throughI've been charged three processing feesto see one movieAnd this was after I had to pay full price to see another movie because, you guessed it, the cardless info provided did not work

Sinemia is a complete "Bait and switch" scam stay away from it , no proper customer support and make money out of the customer with processing and illegitimate misuse fee

I am seeking a refund of $21 for a movie ticket after the Sinemia payment for it was repeatedly denied / rejected and I had to pay out of pocket. I signed on as a customer with Sinemia with the understanding that I would be able to see 3 movies that they would pay for each month. This Wednesday, I was unable to purchase a movie ticket through the Sinemia app for a movie that appeared on their app - Creed 2 at [redacted] in Brooklyn - both approved for use with Sinemia. I had to purchase the ticket on my own CC, and request a refund of $21 (ticket price plus ticket purchasing site fee and Fandango fee), but was my request was rejected. What happened was - my wife used her Sinemia app and mine to get 2 tickets to the movie on Saturday 11/24 at 7:30pm, seat 518. She first purchased her ticket (with a Sinemia approved / app credit card number) through Fandango successfully. She then attempted to use my Sinemia app to purchase a ticket for me (seat 519) to the same show. My payment

They shouldn't be in business! This is the worst online experience I've ever had in my entire life I have nothing but non stop problems with this company and cannot seem to get anything but an automatic replyNothing has been resolved for several months in the even closed my ticket without anything being resolvedI then went online to cancel the subscription but I was still charged for January I have been contacted when I say something on social media, but then I email them are they are still not replying to my emails and following through on their promise to refund meThey then asked me to update a review and leave a nicer one, but they still have done nothing to resolve my issues- in which I wasn't able to see movies(while standing at the movie theater trying to purchase for over an hour online but had technical difficulties) and they have the audacity to ask me to update my review

Truly a scam. They will charge you for every little thing without disclosing those fees when I signed up. Also, the app will fail to register your check in and you have to pay the full amount.

Their card payment is frequently declined, making their service unusableI have sent numerous emails with no corrective actions being taken by them On multiple occasions their payment has been declined, which means that I am unable to use their serviceI've paid for an entire year, but am unable to actual utilize the programsThey have been completely unresponsive to my requests for support or a refundThey've taken my money and refuse to follow through with their end of the agreementOne instance occurred today, when my payment was declined but Sinemia still charged my account a service fee, despite not actually providing a service

Please note, I've given one star rating because this system doesn't allow proceeding with zero stars Otherwise, my rating would be zero After pre-paying for a year of Sinemia service, the service stopped working over two months ago Despite multiple attempts to resolve with Sinemia, they have still not corrected The result is that I've not received the service for which I've already paid for over two months now, so am left with no other recourse but to contact the Revdex.com for assistance The details of the situation are below I'd appreciate any support the Revdex.com [redacted] provide in effectively and fairly resolving 9/1/18: I purchased Sinemia's movies per month plan by paying the annual $fee in advance as required by Sinemia 10/10/18: I was able to use the service as advertised until 10/10/when I used Sinemia to purchase a ticket to see a retrospective screening of Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" Afterwards I tried to use the Sinemia app to "check-in" for the movie, but the app didn't offer "Psycho" as an option under "check-in" I don't know why the app malfunctioned, but perhaps it wasn't configured to recognize an older movie like "Psycho" 10/20/18: Sinemia emailed me that they had cancelled my account because I didn't checked in for the movie, and offered no recourse on how to resolve 10/21/18-To-Date: I made numerous attempts to contact Sinemia (first via email, then via Twitter) to clarify and resolve the situation, including providing a copy of my ticket stub and other supporting evidence that I had in fact attended this screening As with other complaints posted to the Revdex.com site, Sinemia's response was simply to site their policy and claim that I failed to check-in, so had "misused" my account In the various communications, has Sinemia continually ignored the evidence that it was the shortcomings of the Sinemia app that made it not possible to "check-in", and not some attempt at "misuse" on my part All I seek is that I receive the service that I paid for To accomplish this, given that Sinemia hasn't provided the service for which I've paid for over two months, I respectfully request that my account be reinstated for months from the date in which it is again active and working Failing that, it would only be fair that Sinemia provide a pro-rated refund of $(10/of the annual fee that I initially paid, since it only worked for months) Thank you in advance for any support the Revdex.com [redacted] provide in effectively and fairly resolving this matter

Horrible customer serviceActually, horrible customer service would be betterSinemia's customer service is nonexistentâ??They have no phone number and I have written to their customer support email times and I have not once received a response but for their automated email that goes out saying they have received your email

Tl;dr The worst service I have ever usedI wish I could give negative star It's definitely the bait and switch scamIt is asking for $1.8/ticket if you are using apps to purchase(previously, there is no option to use physical cardNow they give you the option, but you have to pay ~$for it, and still need to pay for $if you buy the ticket not in the same day of movie)In their main page for Ads, there is no place they mention this feeThey also reject to refund even though you just use it onceThey will also fight back for credit card chargeback without non-sense terms and conditionsBe aware!

I joined Sinemia because they appear to be a legit company from the US that provided a legit service for the avid movie goerSince I've joined weeks ago, I have not been able to enjoy the service they promisedWhen I originally joined, they promised the card in days, that was apparently a lie and now they updated their site and it now says it would take months to get the cardAlso, when you submitted a support email, they will get back to you in hours, I've sent about emails to their support and they have only ever responded once and it wasn't a helpful email since what they advised didn't workThis company is starting to feel very shady, especially since they ask for an annual payment, that is a red flag in my opinionI would advise anybody that is interested in Sinemia subscription in Canada to save your money

[redacted] service - every time I tried to buy a ticket for a movie online (5x) I was charged a $1.80 convenience fee & a ticket was NEVER purchased. I have emailed their help email 3x in the past 10 days trying to cancel my subscription & have NOT heard back from anyone
