They charged me more than they should have, I have not even received my card and it's been almost a month. I have sent messages in regards to card not being recieved and still no response poor customer service. This almost seem like I was scammed smh

Sinemia was a monthly movie subscription service. I subscribed to the service in April 2018 with my username as ***, and my registered email is ***. I did not receive the physical card which I can use to avail the subscription service. Sinemia said I would receive within 7 days of payment however I did not receive the card until June 2018. Then on June 20 2018 I received an email(attached) saying that a physical card is not required and that I can use a new feature called Sinemia cardless, with which I can purchase movie tickets without the physical card. The email clearly said that the cardless feature is same as a physical card, as per my plan I was supposed to get two free movie tickets per month. Now once I activated the new cardless feature, I was never able to use it to purchase the tickets. The problem I was facing was that the app was allowing only to purchase tickets using third party websites like atom or fandando, and if I purchase from those websites I have to pay a fee of $2-$3 per ticket whereas I was supposed to get that ticket for free. So in summary the cardless feature never worked same as a physical card. Then in Jan 2nd 2019 I received one more email that the Sinemia introduced the physical card again, when I tried to request a physical card now the card was not free and I had to pay about $40 or something to get a physical card, they sold the service initially saying that the users will get a free physical card and then changed their word later saying it is not free. I paid for one year of service with two free movie tickets each month and in all I was able to use the service only twice that too paying additional amount from my pocket each time. And to add to that the company stopped the service entirely when I had still 3-4 months of service available.

Desired Outcome

The resolution i would like to have is to refund the amount i have paid for the subscription service. I am fine if the amount is prorated that is to less the amount for the number of tickets i purchased via Sinemia and refund the remaining amount.

A couple weeks ago, I talked with a Sinemia staff member via Messenger about if I downgraded from the - 3D movie package for people to the 3- 2D movie package for people, would I be charged the membership fees again They responded and said I would not So last week, I went and downgraded from the to the plan and I was recharged for the membership fees plus the new monthly fee This has been the such an expensive adventure and probably would have saved money by not having a subscription Especially since I can not get a physical card and always have to pay online convenience fees every time I use the service All I want is to be reimbursed the extra membership fees A physical card would be nice too so I don't have to continue to pay extra fees

I have been overcharged 3 times. The first time, the business resolved the issue. The 2nd and 3rd I've had no response. I joined in January for $11.99/month for two movie tickets per month. I was billed before I received the card and the company responded to email and resent the card. They said they had refunded the second charge but had not.
