My mortgage was transitioned to this company It took months for them to "find" my account I called twice a week for months trying to give them payment, but they would not give me an account number They never returned my calls They recommended that I not pay because I would be covered for up to days after the transition Finally, I was given an account number and was "allowed" to make a payment - at this point I had to pay months at once Once I had an account number and created an online account, I discovered that the mailing address and phone numbers they had on the account was completely erroneous It was not even close to an address or phone number of mine I attempted to correct the mailing address and phone numbers multiple times, but each time I would log in to my online account, the same incorrect information was still there As of now the mailing address is corrected but not the phone number I was just recently notified that this company did not make payments to my insurance company as it was required

IS THIS COMPANY FOR REAL? After receiving a notice, I have been trying to contact the company for the last days! On Monday I was on hold for over an hour, only to get an agent who transferred me and then I was hung up on This happened several times I then called again and got through to someone who then just straight out hung up on me Today they finally called and left a message, which I tried calling back and again, I was on hold for minutes, spoke with an agent, who then hung up on me after I requested to speak to someone in charge of accounts I called back and I am currently on hold again as I type this In the last seven days I have made a payment by phone that they put in unapplied funds and not to my account Then a money order was mailed to them through priority mail, which they told me was not received, but the tracking number shows it was received days ago, yet hasn't been applied to our account Not sure where our money is going at this point This company took over our loan years ago and it has gone down hill They won't even send us a monthly statement!!!!!...and we have requested this several times I am at a loss for how to get a hold of this company I've never worked with a company and agents like this This company is TERRIBLE!!! DON'T USE THEM!!!

In April, I received a correspondence from SLS dated 4/13/that our account was in potential or existing default and a case manager had been assignedI immediately contact SLS who stated the letter was sent in errorAnother customer with a similar address should have received the letterI asked for something in writing stating the correspondence was sent in error and told the rep could not do that but the account was notedA week or so later, we received an additional letter, also dated 4/13/18, again stating that we requested mortgage assistance and our house was being sold via short saleI immediately contacted SLS and again told this was sent in errorOur account was noted on 4/that the letters were inaccurate but not from my original call a week or two priorAgain I requested something in writing stating this letter was inaccurate, especially because this was the second correspondence stating we wherein default and our home was being soldI was told they would not

I reached out to SLS to have them release a title on a loan that no longer existsThey asked me to send them the paperwork on the titleI sent the requested documentation overnight to the address they providedThey claimed they never received it even thought someone signed for itI also faxed it to them sever times and they still claimed they never received themThe last attempted was reaching out to them on the phoneI sat on hold for over an hour

This company has removed $24,from a family bank account The home in question was foreclosed on 4/09/and the company continued to remove $per month for months, until this the last automatic withdrawal occurring in September,
The property was owned by my late father, who passed away in August During the entire time they were removing the money he was over years old and apparently had no idea the company was constantly removing money from one of his bank accounts every month
The company refuses to refund the money they continued to remove after the home was foreclosed on 04-09-as when the home was foreclosed, he no longer owned or held title to the property but this company kept taking payments after he no longer held the title

Never have I felt totally disrespected at the most trying time in my lifeI simply called and asked if there was anything SLS was doing to help those in time of need during the Harvey Storm because I have not been able to work during the week of August 21st through the 25th and during the week of August 28th through September 1st The representative had the audacity to say that there was nothing she could do and how would I like to make a payment at this time How rude! So upset I have never been late on a payment Have had this loan since How disrespectful!

I was affected by recent floods in south texas and was mandatory evacuated from my house June 2nd for daysThis was later declared a Federal DisasterI notified SLS of my situation and that I was requesting a deferment or modification for month only due to extra expenses paid for while out of my home ex: hotel rooms/foodFirst off it is very difficult to get a hold of someoneSecond of all they sent me a page application to fill out for month what they call a modificationthird of all I have been calling them several times a week and it is now july 22nd, all they kept saying is it can take up to days*** my point of contact has no compassion or empathy for my situation nor do I feel that the company doesI have two kids and am devastated enough by the floods and my losses and my flood claim has not even been processed yet due to so many claims filedI finally got a call back today and *** again with no compassion states that I was approved for a stand

sls had given me a bad loan to begin with.sls is 2nd mortgage and it s/b 80% 1st mortgage and 10% sls 2nd mortgage,but sls sold me mortgage that was 70% 1st mortgage and 20% second s/b 80/not 70/I had complained at the time but they convinced me it is good my problem started when housing market collapsed sls had never sent me any bills or statement for last years ,they tried to settle the loan by giving me option to pay off loan time payment of I couldn't do it this was about 4years agothis time I offered to settle this loan , but they didn't acceptbut now after years no bills no statements and I got statement on 4/17/that saidamounts due is to get up to dateif sls had done the mortgage right the first time I would not be in this stuation nowI blame sls and housing crash for this loanloan s/b 80% and 10%.sls were trying to settle this loan that why they never sent me bills for last years,but now suddenly I am behind

SLS acquired my loan this year and I was told by a rep back in March that it's "no problem to make payments every two weeks like you did previously to pay your loan off more quickly, we don't have the capacity to set up auto payments every two weeks, but you can do that:.In April I received notices that I was days late(4/per ***)-I asked her to please explain why what I was told in March is contradictory to what she is telling me? She said I owed $that was due on 4/1/I asked if she could review all payments, she said no, another dept handles posting of funds and she couldn't help and would transfer me-I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, she said she could place me on hold and transfer me to the executive offices-I was on hold for a long time only to receive a recording the "executive offices" were closed and I would receive a returned call within 3-biz daysI received a robot call back on May with no information regarding my specific message-just a a

This is just one of many problems that I have had with this awful companyI refinanced my mortgage so that I would not have to deal with them anymoreThere was a few thousand dollars in my escrow account, and my new loan provider advised that I should call them to request that this money be refunded directly to meThey said fineI just got my refund check and it is for less than $I called them and they gave me some nonsense excuse about the rest of my money going towards the payoffThey were not able to explain this in a way that made any senseI asked why they had not contacted me if they could not fulfill my request, and they had no responseI was then told that there was no way that they could have sent the escrow balance directly to us, and the representative refused to acknowledge the conversation that I had with her coworker during which I was assured that this would happen

It all started when I call for a payoff amount I talked to customer service and asked if I can send more money and then what was needed to pay off my loan they said yes and they would send me the different back if I overpay My principal balance was $I sent them $and I waited a bit then I noticed the account was still with a balance of $so I called customer service they mentioned that the last payment has to be in a certified check That isn’t what I was told by the customer service I originally spoke to So now my moneys in the mail coming back to my house for the amount of $and the payoff statement that I requested still didn’t get here two weeks after I requested it This company is very shady if you can avoid them please do at all costs

My mortgage was originally being serviced by *** and then transferred to Specialized Loan Servicing I feel when the transfer occurred I was not given credit for my appropriate monthly payments
I have been going back and forth and continue to make my monthly payments and they are threatening foreclosure The funds were originally automatically being taken out of my account so I don't know how I could be delinquent on the payments I then cancelled my automatic payments because both mortgage companies were withdrawing funds

My wife and I bought a second home last November and the load was almost immediately sold to CMC with Specialized Load Servicing handling paymentsI didn't hear from them until I called just before Christmas (with the first loan payment due Jan1) and was told the new information "was in the mail." I said we were going to be out of town over the holidays and was told they could accept a payment over the phone, which I didn't want to do as they hadn't sent me any information about the loanI called a second time and asked for a supervisor who emailed me the documentationWhat neither he nor anyone else at SLS told me was that when a mortgage is sold, there is a grace period when "late payments" do not result in late feesThank you very much SLSThese people are like dealing with the mafiaNot to be trusted

Because I was traveling in October 2017, I paid my November mortgage early At the same time, the total mortgage payment amount was raised because of an error made tax payments at my closing Since I scheduled the mortgage payments online prior to knowledge of the increase, the payment was for the previous amount SLS did not allocate my payment towards my November mortgage Instead, in error, they attributed my early payment to my principal balance and since then, have charged me late fees and reported me to the credit agencies for late payment I was assured by a representative in January that the funds would be reallocated correctly, but after a phone call with them today, it has still not been done and I have been charged late fees and it has affected my credit score In essence, I have been penalized for being conscientious in paying the mortgage early because of their error They have been unwilling to correct their error for more than six months
