Slimmer You Garcinia Cambogia Reviews (239)

Review: I purchased a bottle of Garcinia Cambogia and Green Coffee on Dec 29, 2014 for I thought was the price of shipping which was $9.94 for both. The products arrived 2 weeks later and on Jan. 13, I was charged $89.24 for the coffee beans and on Jan 14 I was charged $97.16 for the Garcinia Camboia. This was not the deal that I signed up for. I phoned the company today Jan. 22, 2015, complained and was told they would give me a 50% refund on both orders. I got email note back stating that I am going to get a credit for the Garcinia Camboia order but I didn't receive a credit confirmation on the Green Coffee order. I also asked for a confirmation that my account was cancelled. I received that one the green coffee order (account) was cancelled but not on the Garcinia Camboia account. It would be nice to get an email address for the company that works where one can send a written cancellation e mail note to.

I believe this company is in the practice of carrying on misleading and false advertising practices. When you searching on the internet you will find a lot of unhappy customers. By the way for me the product doesn't work.Desired Settlement: I want a 100 % refund not a 50% refund and written confirmation that both accounts are cancelled.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

ordered a trial and was unable to use due to health issues after I took product to doctor. noticed additional charges on my credit card statement after advising I was returning product. Contacted credit card company to ensure no more charge from this company received my next credit card statement again with additional charges. it appears the day I contacted then to cancel any further shipments of product they applied additional charges to credit card before they could be stopped. after many conversation I was able to get a partial shipment refund. however they kept adding charges for product never received and refused to credit back.

Review: This company poses as two separate branches of the same company because when we called about the two separate incidences in this report one didn’t know about the other. The two companies are Garcinia [redacted] located in Delaware and Garcinia Magic [redacted] located in Michigan. The dates in this report may be off by at day or two. In November, around the 16th, my wife saw an infomercial for a dietary supplement (Garcinia Excel) and according to the information she got from the television ad the supplement was free sample and all you had to pay for was the shipping and handling. On the 17th of November, my credit card was charged twice for shipping and handling for $4.95. My wife made 3 attempts to contact the company about the double charge and could not get through to anyone. Finally the double charge was corrected, but then on the 2nd of December a charge for $86.90 appeared on my credit card from the same company. I called the (888) number that appeared on my account summary and spoke to a [redacted]) who told me the free sample was actually a 14 day free trial and the 15th day my card was charged the $86.90. Speaking to [redacted] in detail I told him my wife was unaware that it was a 14 day free trial. [redacted] told me that my wife had ordered the product online and the information about the 14 day free trial was in the terms and conditions and when she agreed to the terms and conditions she was in fact agreeing to the 14 day free trial. I thought, “No one reads those things.” I didn’t know how to dispute this if she did actually check the box. [redacted], at that time did cancel the order but would not refund the full price. After speaking to my wife I found out that her transaction was in fact a phone conversation prompted by an infomercial and not an online transaction. After learning this information I realized [redacted]) was lying to me. I called the company back about this information and eventually they did offer a 70% discount of $60.83, but I was so upset about the deception I wanted a full re-payment and warned them I was contacting the Revdex.com.

On the 15th of December another charge appeared for $44.24 from the same company for a product called Garcinia Magic. After talking to my wife she told me she had not ordered anything else from this company. After further research we found out that they did in fact send us another product without our consent and then charged us for it. Another call was placed to this company and after agreeing to return the product they promised a full refund of $44.24 which at the time of this dispute we have yet to see the refund, but the product has been returned. I called my credit card company and they advised me to cancel my card because this company would probably continue these types of tactics because this is what they do, so I had to cancel my card which has been a major inconvenience especially so close to Christmas. Today I called the company and agreed to the 70% refund at $60.85 from the original charge of $86.90 only because I figured I should get what I can. For this transaction I spoke to [redacted]Desired Settlement: If the refunds do come through all I am looking for is the other 30% ($26.07) of the $86.90 just because of the deceptive actions (the double shipping charge, [redacted] lying about my wife ordering online, and the fact that they made me cancel my card because they send you products and then bill you for them without your consent) of this company. If the refunds don’t come through I want this company to refund me a full $131.14.

Response:

Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. Upon review, we are not affiliated or connected in any way with the companies you listed in your complaint. The [redacted] does not belong to us. We were able to locate an account under the name of [redacted] who placed an order online for Garcinia Cambogia on 7/3/14. The only amount charged to the customer was $4.95 for shipping and handling. There have been no other charges taken from that account as the account was closed on 7/24/14. We do apologize but it's apparent you have confused us with a different company.

Review: I ORDER THE PILLS FOR MY WIFE ABOUT A YEAR AGO, MY WIFE STARTED TO GET SICK THE FIRST DAY SO I STARTED RETURNING THE PILLS BACK TO THEM AND ASKING THEM TO STOP THE DELIVERY AND TO REFUND ME THE MONEY.

THEY NOT ONLY CONTINUE TO SEND THE PILLS BUT ALSO CONTINUE TO EXTRACT $79.97 FROM MY CREDIT CARD EVEN AFTER I CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES TO STOP.Desired Settlement: COMPLETE REFUND OF UNFAIR CHARGE AND ABUSIVE BUSINESS TO CONSUMER

Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. We are very sorry to hear that your wife was sick. Our products are 100% all natural with no known side effects. Our records indicate you signed up online for a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. At the end of the 14 days if we do not hear back from you we will assume you love the product and simply bill you the retail price of the bottle and set you up on a monthly program. Unfortunately, we do not show any record of a call to cancel the product. As a courtesy we have refunded $239.91 back to the original method of payment. The remaining $245.09 will be refunded via a refund check. Please allow 5-7 business for the check to be received. This is a total refund of $485.00. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Review: Charged 85.00 for order that was not authorized. Never ordered.the monthly subscription was canceled in September they changed me October 4th.

At first they say free trial for $4.95.then when you go on line and sign up right after you place the order they trick you and then tell you that you just joined a monthly service, which will cost you $85.00 monthly they don't tell you up front. Fraud!.so as soon as I got the trail pills 2 bottles together I sent temperature back called cancelled any further orders, I received everything mail confirmation on Sept 19. Then on Oct 4 they email me stating ten charged my card $85.00 and was sending out a new order Wichita I never ordered. I called them several times with the numerous listed no answer was on hold for hours. I called my bank wells Fargo and filed a claim against them this is my claim number [redacted] This is the phone number the list [redacted] I will continue to call everyday until I can reach someone. Please look into this matter for me the order number the are charging me for by their mistake is [redacted] Thank you for your help [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my $85.00 credited back to my debit card. And never send any product to my address again they are a fraudulent co.

Thank you for taking the time to address us with your concerns. When a customer signs up online the terms and conditions are clearly stated and must be agreed to or the order will not go through. We offer a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. At the end of the 14 days if we do not hear back from you we will assume you love the product and charge you the full retail price of $87.53 per the terms and conditions. We do not charge $85 for our products. It's possible this customer ordered another product through another company of which they cancelled. Our records indicate this customer ordered our product on 9/19. Their trial ended on 10/3 and they were charged on 10/4. They called for the first time on 10/8 to cancel their account. They agreed to a 50% refund and to keep the bottle. The refund was processed on 10/8. We also processed the remaining refund of $43.77 on 10/10 . We do apologize for the misunderstanding.

Review: I ordered the 14 day trial via this company and NO WHERE on the page or confirmation was I advised that I had 14 days to cancel the product. I contacted customer service yesterday, 09/07/14 and advised the customer service rep that I wanted to cancel the trial and refunded my $87.53. The rep stated she would cancel the order per [redacted] but that I was required to send the free trial back before I could be refunded my money. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!! The product hadn't even been shipped to me nor was it EVER clearly communicated that I would be charged the full purchase price of the product. Furthermore I contacted the company the following day of the "free trial" and I am being told I can't get a refund until they received their "free trial" back. I asked to speak with a manager and one was never provided to me. I called the company again this morning and after spending almost an hour on the phone the call was disconnected and I have yet to be assisted, besides being told to spend my hard earned money to ship their free product back and wait for a refund less $5.95 reshipping fee. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!Desired Settlement: I want the full amount of $87.53 refunded back to my card!!!!!

When a customer places an order online the terms and conditions are clearly stated and must be agreed to or the order will not go through. We offer a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. The customer must contact us within the 14 days if they wish to cancel. If they do not we will assume they love the product and charge them the full retail price of the bottle which is $87.53 per the terms and conditions. This customer signed up on 8/24/14 and the package was delivered on 8/27/14 per USPS tracking number [redacted]. The trial ended on 9/7/14 and the customer was charged $87.53. Once the customer is charged our terms require the customer to return the bottle within 30 days of the original order date for a full refund. We have refunded this customer $87.53. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to reflect. We apologize for the misunderstanding.

Review: Slimmer You Garcinia Cambogia has been using unethical practices and faulty advertising. The company was supposed to charge $4.95 for a trial offer and later used my information to charge an additional 87.53 to my credit card. This charge was unauthorized. When calling customer service I was not helped at all. The representative named Joy Reyes avoided all of my questions and would not connect me with a company owner or manager that could help me. I was willing to wait on the phone as long as I needed to in order to speak with someone who could help me, but she would not give me that option. I have found the practices of this company to be unethical. Unless I am refunded the $87.53 that was charged to my card I will be taking further steps to sue the owners of the company. This could have easily been resolved over the phone, but the representatives working for this company seem to be more concerned about reading off scripted responses that do not address a customer's question than they are about being ethical and hearing their customers complaints.Desired Settlement: I would like the $87.53 that was charged to my card to be refunded.

When a customer places an order on our website the terms and conditions are clearly stated on the website and the checkout page. The customer must agree to the terms of the offer which constitutes a legal binding agreement. Our offer states a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. If the customer does not call to cancel within the first 14 days of the trial we will assume they love the product and charge them the full price of the bottle and enroll them in a monthly program. This is and was all outlined in the terms and conditions. Our records show the customer contacted customer service on July 7, 2014. Their account was cancelled per their request and credited $87.53 which should reflect back to their original method of payment within 2-3 business days. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Review: I recently bought a free trial of Pure Garcinia Cambogia from Slimmeryou. It was NEVER explained that my credit card would be charged $87.53 for ONE bottle in another month. NO WHERE. I called the company and the person I spoke to, [redacted], was nice at first but when I asked if I was going to get my money refunded since I cancelled, he blatantlly told me NO. I do not have the appropriate funds in my bank to cover this amount, so now my bank will be overdrawn. All I want is my money refunded.Desired Settlement: I feel that I was mislead and should receive my money in full back in my account!!

Review: I ordered this product on Aug. 25 with the "14 Day Free Trial" I did not receive the product until Friday, Sept. 5. On Sept. 8 I was charged the full amount of $87.53. When I called to talk to customer service to let them know I had only received the product they told me there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for 18 minutes before I hung up. I called back and held for more than 20 minutes without talking to a live person. There is no way to "trial" the product when they don't get the product delivered to you in a timely fashion. HUGE misrepesentation of a trial period when they take 10 days to deliver product to you.Desired Settlement: I would like to return this product. Have all future orders cancelled and be credited for the amount charged. This was a HUGE misrepresntation of delivery. No way to try the product when they take 10 of the 14 days to get the product delivered to you.

When a customer signs up online the terms and conditions are clearly stated and must be agreed to by the customer. We offer a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply that begins the day you place the order. Per the United States Postal Service this customers package was delivered on 8/30/14. We've attached a copy of the delivery confirmation. This customer signed up on 8/25/14 and their 14 day trial ended on 9/8/14. They were charged the trial completion charge of $87.53 per the terms and conditions on 9/9/14. The customer contacted our customer service department on 9/9/14 and we immediately accommodated the customer by cancelling their account and voiding the $87.53 charge. That charge takes 2-3 business days to drop off their bank account. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Review: The website they put up advertises a free sample that you only have to pay for the shipping and handling for. It makes no mention that you will be billed at a later date for a full sized bottle for $80 on a recurring monthly basis. I had to call my bank to cancel my card and talk to them about the fraudulent charge. Which, for now has been returned to my account. It was a lengthy process getting a hold of customer service, but when I did they refused to give a refund. I haven't even received a product other than that initial "free sample" I got.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund back on the charges made to my account.

We apologize but all of our terms and conditions are clearly listed on our website, and the customer has to check off a box that states they have read, and agree to the terms and conditions listed on the website. If that box is not checked off, the order will not be processed. As a courtesy to this customer, we will credit them back for the amount disputed, however, if the order went through, they did understand the terms of the sale, and the sale went along the same details.

Review: I ordered this product, and it did not work. Before the 30 days were up, they kept sending bottles and I kept returning them. They charged my credit card and never gave me credit. I called 6 times to get this resolved, and they still have not credited my for 6 bottles of this product which were all returned to them, and sent without my authorization. Every time I called, they said I needed an RTM number so I requested they give me a number, but the person who answered refused to do that because I had already returned the bottles. I asked them to send the bottles and give me an RTM number, again they refused. It has been more than a year that I am fighting to get my money back and they have not credited my account or sent me a check. Total owed is close to $450.Desired Settlement: I would like them to send me a refund for the bottles I returned.

Review: Advertised free trial for product, -1st bottle. pay for shipping only. Shipping fee was charged immediately. After 20 days passed a charge of $87.53 was charged to my debit card from company. Upon calling company to cancel charge for $87.53 I was told by representative, that terms and conditions state after 14 days if product not returned , full charge of bottle would be applied to debit card. Review of alleged agreed to terms inaccessible, as well as website and company refuses to provide me with a legal or hard copy of any agreement I may have signed. Review: I requested the free trial offer of this product for a Shipping/processing only price of approx. $3. After 3 days of using the product, I had to discontinue use of the product due to stomach pains/cramps that I began experiencing. Approx 1 month after receipt of the original free trial product, I received a 2nd bottle in the mail without my authorization and was charged $87.53 and issued an Order # of [redacted]. I contacted the customer service number provided (888-278-6952) the very next day to return the product and have my credit card refunded and the initial customer service rep and the subsequent supervisor both refused my request to return the product and refund my account, stating that their policy did not allow returns/refunds, however their free trial promotion site indicated 100% satisfaction guaranteed. The supervisor (Carrie) instead offered to difuse the situation by sending me a $100 retail voucher to over 200 stores (which I never received) and cancel any future orders under Cancellation confirmation # [redacted]. I received my credit card statement in the mail this evening and they have charged my credit card twice for the amount of $87.53.Desired Settlement: I just wish to return the unused product and have my credit card refunded for the unauthorized transactions totaling $175.06. Please help me right this gross injustice of business ethics. Thank you!

When a customer places an order on our website, the terms and conditions as well as the offer are clearly listed on the same page as the checkout, and the customer has to check off a box that they have read, and agree to the terms and conditions of the sale which is a 14 day trial which starts the same day the order is placed. If the customer does not call to cancel within the 14 days the customer is set up on a recurring monthly program and charged for the bottle they have already received. If that box is not checked off, the order will not go through. This information is also printed on the invoice they receive with their first shipment. The customer placed their order on 1/2/14 and did not contact our customer service department within the 14 days to let us know they wanted to cancel. The customer was charged 15 days later on 1/17/14 for the trial bottle they already received. They were charged again on 2/1/14 which is the 30th day from their original order date and sent a fresh 1 month supply of the product. The customer called into our customer service for the first time on 2/7/14. The account was cancelled per their request and they were explained the return/refund policy which states the customer is entitled to a refund within 30 days of their original order date as outlined in the terms and conditions. The customers original order was 1/2/14 and they were outside the 30 days. The customer agreed. As a courtesy we will refund the customer for the two bottles as they requested. Refund for $175.06 has been applied and should reflect back into their original method of payment within 2-3 business days. The customer does not need to return the products. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Review: “Slimmer You Garcinia Cambogia FREE TRIAL, Claim your free bottle today 14-day free trial, pay only shipping charge of $2.95” reads the ad.

I ordered and paid the shipping charge on July 30, 2013. But it was only 16 days later that I was billed $87.53 on Aug. 14, 2013. Then I was automatically billed “another” $87.53 on Aug. 29, 2013. Totaling $175.06!!

Here’s the trick: If you don’t contact the company “before” the 14-day trial ends, they will not accept your “returned” bottle and you will automatically be charged $87.53 per month. Getting the company to stop the automatic monthly charge is impossible! The operators keep rudely repeating: “You didn’t contact us during the 14-day trial, so we’ll not give you a refund! You should have paid closer attention to the Terms & Conditions of a Refund!”

It is NOT clear in the Terms and Conditions that you have to contact the company BEFORE the 14-day free trial ends or you will be billed the full price of $87.53, monthly.

According to the company’s terms and conditions, to obtain a Refund I had to accomplish the following beginning from my order date: 1. Wait for product to arrive-transit time 2. Try product for a few days. 3. Experience negative effects. 4. Contacted customer service to complain and ask for refund. 5. At request of customer service, scheduled appointment with doctor to discuss effects 4. Decide not to use. 5. Notify Garcinia Cambogia of desire to return for refund and obtain return merchandise authorization. All this had to be accomplished within the 14 day free trial period--a two week time frame. Then you had 30 days from the original order date to return the product. This refund policy is a sham. The initial automatic billing after 14 days establishes the cutoff date for any possible refund. It is a deceptive practice. During my contacts with customer service, they offered discounts on future purchases of a product I had said I did not want, offered a range of low dollar settlements, and claimed there was no supervisor with whom I could talk, but NO refunds.Desired Settlement: I wish to obtain full reimbursement credit to my credit card for the two billings totaling $175.06

We do apologize but the terms and conditions are clearly listed on our website, and in order for the order to go through the customer has to check off the box that states they have read to, and agree to those terms and conditions. As a courtesy, we have refunded this customers account in full at this time and they should see a credit on their account within 4-6 business days.

Review: On September 30, 2012 the product purchase was created. The order arrived a week later in October. When the product arrived I reviewed the financial aspect of it and realized that I would not be able to afford the product. I saw my account was charged a few days later the amount of $74.98 for the product. I called the company in later in October for the refund procedures and was advised on how to do this. The product was mailed on November 5, 2012 but returned due to inaccurate mailing protocol. Slimmer you received the product on January 28,2013. I spoke to customer service who advised me to expect the refund by February 28, 2013. I have called on several occasions for the refund and each time I am given a different date as to when I will be refunded. Last call I made was July 19, 2013 and a supervisor said to call back on the 23rd for the tracking number for the refund. As of today I have not received the refund and I am on hold waiting for the tracking number for the past 20 minutes.Desired Settlement: I would my full refund before the end of August in the amount of $74.98

Review: The name, address, and phone number of this "business" has changed with every piece of correspondence I have received. ([redacted] Business claims all terms were disclosed upon ordering, but UNTRUE! Third party did NOT disclose auto-enroll and future credit card transactions were NOT authorized! On 7/20/14 I ordered a "free trial" of this "business's" product from a third party vendor in conjunction with a special offer from another similar but unrelated vendor, Desert Health Direct. The offer was a one time trial and only shipping of $4.95 was required. The "company" claims all terms of the trial were fully disclosed (including an "auto-enroll" program after the trial) and claims boxes had to have been checked by customers prior to ordering. However, the third party website selling both products, did NOT include any such check boxes nor did the terms of service describe any limited time trial period of future payments as a result of not canceling. On 8/4/14 and again on 8/20/14 my credit card was billed UNAUTHORIZED charges of $87.53. When speaking to Logan on the phone at [redacted] on 8/21, she refused to refund the first UNAUTHORIZED charge of $87.53 (due to their terms, which I NEVER RECEIVED NOR AGREED TO on the third party site), but said she would refund the second charge minus a $5+ restocking fee if I returned the second shipment.Desired Settlement: I am returning all products received from the company in their original sealed packaging, unopened and unused and am seeking a complete refund for the the first UNAUTHORIZED charge of $87.53 in addition to the second unauthorized charge Logan already said she'd refund upon receipt. I am also seeking the name of the third party website vendor who did NOT provide the complete terms of service as described by this company's and Desert Health Direct's representative on the phone and caused this fraudulent credit card activity as a result.

Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to reflect back to her account. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Review: I thought I was purchasing a free trial to test the product, plus the cost to ship the product. I did not see anything that said there was an ongoing payment for more product. The company shipped the free product, plus my shipping. Then, they charged me $87.53 around 14 days later for the free trial, of which I thought was free plus shipping. Then, they shipped me another bottle and charged me another $87.53, of which I did not want or think I ordered. I called the company to return the 2nd bottle, and have them reimburse me. They refused to allow me to return the product, even though it is still factory sealed. The product has an expiration date o 9/2015. The company has plenty of time for me to return the product, unopened, still sealed, yet they refuse to allow me to do so. This, to me, is not honorable, and represents a business model that doesn't belong in the U.S.Desired Settlement: Allow me to return the un-opened, factory sealed bottle of Pure Garcinia Cambogia that has a product expiration date of 9/2015 posted on it, in order for me to receive a refund.

When a customer places an order on our website, the terms and conditions as well as the offer are clearly listed on the same page as the checkout, and the customer has to check off a box that they have read, and agree to the terms and conditions of the sale which is a 14 day trial which start the same day the order is placed. If the customer does not call to cancel within the 14 days the customer is set up on a recurring monthly program and charged for the bottle they have already received. If that box is not checked off, the order will not go through. We also include a copy of the terms and conditions on the invoice with their shipment. This customer placed their original order on 12/24/13. They were charged as per the terms and conditions on the 15th day 1/8/14. They were billed and shipped a fresh 1 month supply of the product per the terms and conditions on the 30th day 1/23/14. This customer called our customer service department for the first time on 1/27/14 and requested to cancel the account. The account was cancelled on 1/27/14 and the customer stated he had already disputed these charges with his bank. We were more than willing to refund the customer, however, since the customer has already initiated a dispute with their bank we can not process a refund since the customer will be refunded from their bank. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Review: I ordered a sample supply of Garcinia Cambogia "Garcinia Cambogia (Free Trial)" for $2.95 on 9/12/2013 then all of a sudden I get charged on 9/30/2013 $87.53 I was told its because I did not cancel my order within 15 days of placing it. all I got was the initial free sample and nothing more. I called to complain and was told that they will send me a $100 gift card to Walmart. I finally received an envelope that I thought would be the $100 grift card yesterday, December 16, 2013 However it is not a $100 gift card. It is a marketing campaign that take a lot of effort and participation in order to get gift cards. They did not do what they said they would do for me. Instead I received a product that does not work and lies. This company is pure fraud at its best. I receive unsolicited phone calls everyday. I have asked many times to be removed from their call list.

We do apologize but all of our terms and conditions are listed right on the screen when an order is placed and the customer must check off a box that states they agree to the terms and conditions. If the customer fails to check off that box, the order will not be processed. As a courtesy, we have refunded this order. The customer will see a credit within 4-6 business days.

Review: I participated in a free trial promoted by this company. After carefully reading their terms and conditions I determined that there should not be any unexpected fees or charges. A few weeks after receiving the product I did, however receive a charge of $87.53. After researching other sites such as Amazon.com, I found that the normal price range for the product was $40-60. I attempted to contact their customer service department however both the phone numbers and email I was provided on their website met with no reply. A few weeks later I received another bottle of their product and was charged an additional $87.53 under a different company name. I filed an inquiry with my bank at this point. After trying several different customer service numbers myself, the bank was finally able to contact the company and they emailed me with an RMA # and a shipping address to return the second bottle for a refund of $87.53. I contacted the customer service number they provided and finally got through to a representative. When I explained to the representative that I was not aware that there would be any charges and wanted to return the first bottle, partially used, for a full or partial refund I was told it would not be possible to the lapse in time of approximately one month since the purchase. I continued to explain that I experienced negative side effects consisting of nausea and headache to a degree that caused me to call out of work and expressed extreme dissatisfaction in their product and their practices, reiterating my desire for a refund for the first bottle. I was again told that it would not be possible and the representative suggested that I had not thoroughly examined their terms and conditions. In my initial attempt to contact the company for an explanation of charges and possible refund I had noticed several changes to their website and suspect they may have made changes to the terms and conditions. I did read them thoroughly upon submitting my credit card information to ensure that I would not receive unexpected charges. I find these practices, particularly the 2 different company names on the bank charges and the unresponsive customer service numbers and email address highly suspicious. If the contact information initially provided had been correct, I would have been able to speak to a representative in time to get a refund for the first bottle and avoid the second bottle and subsequent charge. I also find the severity of the side effects I experienced to be a cause for concern. The website for the product itself claimed that there were no side effects, and further research suggested possible headaches and nausea would be mild however I experienced very extreme symptoms.Desired Settlement: I would like a full or partial refund for the first bottle I purchased in addition to the refund for the second bottle. I would also like information on this company's questionable policies to be made readily available to other consumers so that no one else has to endure what I have over the past month in terms of both financial hardship and the physical side effects of the product itself. This information may already be available due to apparent changes in their terms in conditions made prior to my initial receipt of their "free" trial.

Review: I am writing as via [redacted] there was a post stating should this weight loss product be banned? When you enter the link, it gives details and offers a risk free trial by paying $4.95 shipping. After reading over the information given, I was willing to try the product out. When I received the package, there were no terms given, no contact information, just simply a information sheet about the product. I tried product for a week with the same diet plan I have been using and actually gained 5 lbs. I have made several attempts to email the company, then receiving the emails back as non deliverable and several attempts to call the company, while you sit on hold for quite some time, and at several times was disconnected. This morning, 9/8/2014, I saw that this company has charged my bank account for $87.53. I called the company again, several times, and to my surprise, finally got the option to receive a call back. A representative did in deed call me back but after vocalizing my dissatisfaction with the product and how I was unaware that I would be charged again for this, she agreed to give a partial credit of 35% within a few business days. I am highly upset over the entire issue, as I feel this is extremely misleading and to place these adds in social media as this was done and not give details of further charges. I am insisting that this charge of $87.53 be refunded from this company for the reasons listed above in the interest of customer service and would recommend an easier way to contact this company for issues such as these. It's very difficult to voice concerns or cancel a product when you spend hours on the phone waiting to be disconnected and there is no information when receiving the product. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like the $87.53 credited back to my checking account and this membership cancelled please and thank you.
