Review: I placed an order with Slimmer You for a free 14-day trial offer. Before the 14-day trial is over, if the customer is not satisfied with the product, [redacted] is able to contact customer service and cancel the service. I have tried NUMEROUS times to contact customer service to cancel my subscription; I can never get a response. This product does nothing at all, except cause horrible headaches and nausea. I would like for my membership to be cancelled and my bank account not charged.Desired Settlement: Do not charge my account for any future orders; cancel my membership.

Review: The company offered free trail of their products Pure Garcinia Cambogia for free, and Coffee PureCleanse & HCA Max for S&H of $4.95 each. They charged to my credit card for the shipping charges first. Then they charged for $87.53, $88.99 & $89.99 for these three so called Free Trial products. Not only these products do NOT work at all, their prices are outrageous (these stuffs only sell for $10 to $20 elsewhere). They are now sending me another bottle and charging $87.53 to my visa without authorization, the second bottled enclosed an invoice with the phone number which just kept ringing but no one answered the phone. I've called them more than 20 times. There is no website provided that I have no way of contacting them to get this scam stopped. After some research online, all I can find out is this is a scam and is very time consuming to resolve many people stated on RIPOFF Report and several said it cost them over $500.Desired Settlement: I want them to full refund my money and close my account, stop sending me products and stop charging to my credit card.

When a customer places an order on our website the terms and conditions are clearly stated. The customer must agree to those terms or the order will not go through. On 6/10/14 the customer signed up for a 14 day free trial of a 30 day supply. Per the terms of the offer the customer must contact customer within 14 days to cancel their account or we will assume they love the product and charge them the full retail price of the bottle and enroll them in a monthly membership program. Our records show this customer has not called customer service. Also, this customer ordered Pure Garcinia Cambogia through us. We do not service the other two products listed in this case. We have cancelled this customers account and as a courtesy have refunded the only two charges this customer incurred. The total refund is $175.06. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to reflect back into the account. We apologize for any misunderstanding.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I placed an order for Garcinia Cambogia on 4/2/14 under the impression that after paying a $2.95 shipping fee that I would receive a free trial of the product and on April 5 I received my bottle of Garcinia Cambogia. Having buyers remorse and deciding not to use the product I chose not to open my package and figured that since I had the 14 day free try, which one would assume begins on the date that the product was actually RECEIVED and not ORDERED that I had 14 days to contact the company and return the unopened product. On 4/16/14 I wake up to find that my account has been charged $87.53, after realizing this I immediately call the company to ask to return my product. The first gentleman I got on the phone continually tried selling me more of the product rather than actually trying to help me cancel my account and return the product. After about 10 minutes of going back and forth telling him that I was not interested and just wanted my money back he cancelled my account but told me there was nothing he could do as far as refunding me, which is ridiculous. Being frustrated with speaking to someone who was clearly not going to help me I finished my call with him and called back again later. The gentleman I spoke to the second time was much more helpful but told me that since the account had already been closed, thanks to the unhelpful businessman I spoke to on the phone earlier, that there was nothing he could do in the way of giving me a refund. He did, however, give me an address and an RMA # to send my product back with since I clearly had no desire in using the product and simply wanted to do whatever I needed to to get my money back. I sent the product back on 4/17 but have yet to hear another word from the company. This is the first time I have ever filed an official complain against a company but when I saw that other people had gone through my frustration I felt that my voice needed to be heard as well. This is an unacceptable way to run a business and I would appreciate a full refund.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund for the $87.53 that was taken out of my account. The product that I received was sent back within 14 days of me receiving it, which is what one would think is acceptable when receiving a 14 day free trial. This trial definitely doesn't feel free to me.

When a customer places an order on our website, the terms and conditions as well as the offer are clearly listed on the same page as the checkout, and the customer has to check off a box that they have read, and agree to the terms and conditions which state a 14 day trial which starts the day the order was placed. The customer has the option not to place the order if they do not agree with those terms. An email confirmation was also sent to the email address provided. This information is also on the original invoice with their first shipment. We have refunded the customer $87.53 which should reflect back to their account within 2-3 business days.We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Review: I ordered some medicine I thought it was 5.95 to try it out and if I could order more if I wanted. The print was so small I did not see what it said until they charges me 87.53 for a bottle of pills I did not even use. They are con artist.Desired Settlement: I want a refund.

Thank you for taking the time to alert us of your concern. When a customer signs up online the terms and conditions are clearly stated and must be agreed to or the order will not go through. We offer a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. You must callback to cancel within the first 14 days. If not, we will assume you love the product and simply apply the full retail price of that bottle to your card. Our records show you signed up on 9/1/14. Your trial ended on 9/15/14. Your account was charged on 9/21. Your first call to customer service was on 9/22. Also, we show this customer filed a dispute with their bank. The bank ruled that this was a valid and legal charge and denied the chargeback dispute. As a courtesy, we have refunded this customer $87.53. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to reflect back to your original method of payment.

Review: I have cancelled my monthly supply three times, I have a confirmation number for the cancellation and I have been charged twice since then for a total of $175.06. I did not have sufficient funds in my bank account and have been charged a $30 fee from my bank because of this monthly supply that I had previously cancelled knowing that I did not have money.Desired Settlement: $235.06

Response:

Thank you for alerting us to your concerns. We are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with our product. Our records indicate you signed up online on 9/8/14 for a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. At the end of the trial if we do not hear back from you we will assume you love the product and simply charge the full price $87.53 for the bottle you received and enroll you in a monthly program. Our records indicate you called for the first time on 10/10/14 to cancel the account. That is over 30 days from the original order date which is outside of the return policy per the terms and conditions. As a courtesy we have refunded you for the 3 charges for a total refund of $262.59. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Review: This company claims to offer a risk free 14 day trial period for you to try the product but it is not risk free. I ordered the "risk free" trial on 8-12-14 and did not receive the product until 8-18-14 which took 7 days from my 14 days as I was told by the so called customer service representative on 8-26-14 when I called to try to cancel. I was told I only had 15 hours left on my trial at that time. Even though I only had 7 days instead of the 14 days that was promised I called to cancel and was given the run around about canceling but I was adamant that I wanted to cancel and would be returning the product. The representative I spoke to told me he was going to extend my trial end date to 9-4-14 which would give me time to return the product and he stated I would not be charged. I woke up this morning 8-27-14 to an email saying thank you for you for your order and that I my credit card was being charged $87.53. I did not order this and I called to cancel. I called this company again and spoke to another so called customer service representative that at one point told me I could not return an opened product and I asked how you could try a product for and "14 day TRIAL" if you did not open the product and then she double talked and then said it could be returned and she even told me that since I did not receive the original product in a timely manner she would extend my trial for 14 more days. She also tried to offer me a discount on the subscription and I declined and I said that I was returning the product and I want the charges to my credit card reversed because it was not authorized she told me she would not reverse the charges. I asked her why and she said it was because I refused the offers of a discounted price for the product and she would only extend the trial date if I agreed to the offer. So basically your trial is not 14 days and even if you call to cancel they will not cancel unless you agree to their terms and they are going to charge you the full price anyway. I only hope I do not have anymore problems with this company but I am sure this will not be then end of it.Desired Settlement: I want the $87.53 returned and if this causes my account to be overdrawn I want all overdraft fees refunded. I also want the "subscription" canceled and to never have to deal with this company again.

When a customer places an order on our website the terms and conditions are clearly stated. The customer must agree to those terms or the order will not process. We offer a 14 day free trial of a 30 day supply. The 14 day trial begins the day the order is placed. Our records indicate this customer placed their order on 8/12/14. The customer contacted our customer service for the first time on 8/26/14. At that time the customer agreed to an extension of their trial until 9/4/14. However, due to an unforseen error the extension did not process. The customer was charged on 8/27/14 for $87.53. On 8/28/14 we refunded the customer in full for $87.53 and cancelled their account. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to reflect back to their account. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Review: I had signed up for the free trial where you pay only shipping for 1 bottle of product. I wasn't a huge fan so I never ordered anymore. This was in August. Then MONTHS later I get a charge for $115 cnd on my credit card from them. I called my credit card company who put me through to the customer service for this company. The rep was terrible, wouldn't tell me what any of this really was, wouldn't answer my questions, basically left me more confused then before and feeling like this was a huge scam. So, I called back. The second rep was much more helpful, told me this $115 was a cancellation fee. A cancellation fee! Are you kidding me, to cancel what? I wasn't being charged before this 'cancelation fee' and I wasn't receiving anything either, life was fine. I was told that apparently the 14 day cancelation requirement is extremely obvious on the site but I still can't find it. I am extremely unhappy, IF this is in fact on the site it should be extremely obvious. It is a rip off to charge someone $115 to cancel something that they didn't know even needed to be cancelled in the first place.Desired Settlement: Those unauthorized charges to be refunded and for this company to make it easy to see that if you don't cancel in 2 weeks that you will be charged a large amount of money.

Review: Participated in a free trail which I had to call within 14 days of my order to inform the company how I felt about their product in order not to be billed for the trail bottle of supplements. I called within a week shared my thoughts on the supplements and was told I would not be billed. I received a $87.00 charge on my credit card 14 days after my order. I called to complain and explained that I did call and fulfilled the terms of the free trail. I was told they had no record of my call and there was nothing they could do about the $87.00 charge. I was then offered a 25 percent discount on the charge which is crazy because I shouldn't have been charged anything. Now I'm stuck paying $66.00 plus a $3.00 shipping free for a bottle of supplements that I could have bought for $20.00 anywhere else.Desired Settlement: Refund of money billed for supplements

Review: I signed up for a free trial of the diet pill on 6/16/13 through the internet for $2.95. I had read the information that came in the mail with the pills and the cost was way too high for me to continue with this program. I called [redacted] on 6/21/13 and said I wanted to cancel. The lady assured me that I should try the pills longer and that they would not touch my account until my trial period was over which was on 7/11/13. My confermation # is 33157 for that call.I left a not on my calendar and called back on 7/11/13 to cancel again. After being hagled about the products and price breaks I said again no I just want to cancel and that I noticed a pre-authorization in my checking account for $87.53 that I would like removed. She said no she could not remove it. I said it's a pre-autorization yes you can and again she said no. I asked to speak with someone else and she said you can't there is not one else that can speak with you. She told me that if I would have called on 7/10/13 they would have canceled and not charged me and I explained that I was told I had until 7/11/13 when I made my first phone call. Nothing I said matter. I said this was a free trial and now you are just going to screw me out of $80. and still she wasn't going to do anything. I thought a free trial was truly that a chance to try something for free (even though I paid shipping) and then if you cancel you are not penalized for trying it for "free". I'd like a refund however I've gotten no where with this company. Please advise if you can assist me. Thanks!Desired Settlement: $87.53

We apologize for the inconvenience as the computer tells the agent the date that the customer has to call back in by, in order not to be charged. There must have been a miscommunication between the agent and the customer, and we apologize for that. This account has been refunded in full at this time, and the customer should see the reflection on their account within 5-7 business days.

Review: This company are telling me I failed to read the contract, I never read the contract because I never received a contract. I trial product "Garcinia Cambogia" paid the shipping and handling, $4.95, nothing else to inform me a continue shipment would be sent to me. This dietary supplement for the price of $87.50, was charged to my visa account. I call right away to this company, who kept telling me I didn't read my contract, which I never received. So, the company agreed to reimburse me $35.01 of the $87.50 back into my visa account, and to close the account. These people/company are preying on people, and accounting on people to not to realize what's going on with there underhanded practices. This company needs to be stopped, the sooner the better for all us non suspecting people.Desired Settlement: The local government or FBI needs to close these criminals down and take them to jail, put them out of business. The federal government needs to do an investigation into this racket, then seen people to jail and a fine large enough to destroy each person responsible for what's going on.

We do apologize but when a customer places an order on our website, they have to check a box that states that they have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the sale, which are clearly states on that same page. If that check box is not checked off, the order will not be processed. Within those terms and conditions, it clearly states about the billing and shipping regarding future shipments of this product. We do apologize if the customer did not read these terms prior to checking the box, but the box had to have been checked off for the order to be processed. As a courtesy, we have refunded the remainder of the charge that the customer was referring to.

Review: On 8/25/2013 I ordered a "FREE TRIAL" of this product and when I received it in the mail 8/27/13) I had a letter inside the package that said if I am "NOT" completely satisfied with the product please contact our office for a "RMA" number to return the product and it must be done within 30 days. I also noticed the price for the product was $87.53 which is entirely out of my price range. I used the product for 3 days and did not like how it made me feel. So I contacted the business (9/9/13)and the representative[redacted] said that she cannot give me an RMA number because I have not had the product for the term. I said I didn't want it anyway because of the price. She offered it to me for half the cost and I said no. She then told me she was sorry and that she could not help me. Later that evening I checked my account and notice a charge of $87.53 was pending on my account so the next day(9/10/13)I contacted my bank and they informed me that I needed to send the product back and retain a shipping number for us to file a claim. On 9/12/13 I tried calling the company back again hoping to receive an RMA number so I could return the product and as soon as I gave [redacted] (the representative) my order number, our line was disconnected. On 9/17/13, I again called the company in hopes to receive an RMA number before I was able to send the product back and I called and spoke to 4 different representatives, [redacted] and again once I gave them my order number ALL of them were saying "I'm sorry, but I cannot hear you, you will have to call back and then our lines were disconnected. So I am waiting in the mean time and tonight (9/25/13) I am looking at my bank account and notice ANOTHER pending transaction for $87.53. I contacted my bank and now have cancelled my bank card and filed another claim for the second $87.53 on my account. Within 14 days of the first transaction they are collecting again and it has not even been 30 days from the first one they took out. So now I am out $175.06 plus $3.66 to send the product back for a total of $178.72. I do NOT have this kind of money to be throwing away. The sad thing about this is I opened a web page on my phone and it took me to this site and I thought that it was a good product because it showed that it was aired on [redacted]. Now everyone believes Dr. Oz so why not try this product......Well I am very very disappointed that [redacted] would recommend a company like this and would back up a product like this. I have read several complaints for the same thing as I am complaining about and yet the company is still doing what it is doing......So Sad that they have to take advantage of people in this way.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $178.72..........and to stop this company from harming other innocent people like myself.........

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any inconvenience, but we have investigated this complaint and here are our findings based on recordings and information from the system:

Customer called us for the first time on 9/17. She called first at 2:25pm est and spoke with [redacted]. She stated she was calling to obtain an RMA#. Agent was very polite and asked probing questions. Customer stated they’ve been using the product for 10 days. Agent pulled up the account and advised the customer of the original order date which was 8/25, when the trial ended (9/8) and when the customer was first charged (9/9). Customer was unresponsive. Agent asked if the customer was on the line. There was no response. Agent hung on for another minute and customer was not on the line. The call was ended. Customer called back in at 2:28pm est. Call was answered by [redacted] and there was no one on the line. Customer called back in at 2:29pm est. Call was answered by ** and there was no one on the other line. Customer called back in at 2:30pm est. Call was answered by Virginia and there was no one on the line. At no point did any agent tell this customer they could not hear her and she would have to call back. I also looked at the other dates the customer claims to call in on and there is no record. Customer called us each time from 225-571-4197. Furthermore, we do not have a [redacted] who works for us.

However, as a courtesy, we will refund the customer for the amount that they were charged. They will see this on their account within 4-6 business days.

Review: When I called to cancel my 14 day trial period the customer service agent did not want to accept my cancellation & instead insisted on extending my trial period. She did not tell me the end date or explained to me what would happen at the end of my trial period. I tried the product for a few weeks but was not noticing any difference and am very dissatisfied with it. I was charged $87.53 on my credit card and when I called to cancel they were not helpful at all. They said I was past the date to cancel but I was never even notified what that date was. The agent kept cutting me off and sounded like they didn't even care about me or validate my concerns. When I asked for a supervisor they said none were available & when I persisted he said "oh they are all in a training". I asked for someone to call me back and he said they will but when I asked what time he said "I don't know". A second person I spoke to said to go online and send an email to the company but didn't know the web address or email that I should send a message to. I found an email address online "[email protected]" and when I tried sending a message to it I got a delivery failure notice. All I want to do is cancel my order and get a refund but the company is making it very difficult to even get a hold of. Customer service leads you know where & the email address is invalid.Desired Settlement: I would like $87.53 that was billed to my credit card on 7/13/13 & posted on 7/15/13 to be credited back to my visa.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but when a customer calls in to talk about their order, we give them options to which they can extend their program or cancel. This order has already been refunded as the customer called in a requested a refund, therefor the customer should see the credit on their account shortly.

Review: I ordered what I thought was a 14 day free trial of Garcinia Cambogia. After paying $4.95 for shipping I was sent the product and received it about 5 days after I placed the order. I proceeded to take the product as directed on the bottle and saw no noticeable results. I called them after I had been using the product for about 10 days and was told that since it is a natural product it can take anywhere for 2-5 weeks to see results. In the meantime, they billed my credit card for the full price of the bottle. I requested a refund and they told me the only thing they could do is suggest that I double my dose of the product and they would send me two bottles instead of one every month. I told them I don't want the product because I didn't see any results and I was informed that there was nothing they could do; they couldn't offer me any kind of refund. I was completely misled because I didn't see anywhere that showed that I would be billed over $87 for the bottle of product in 14 days as the advertising only mentioned a free trial as long as you pay for shipping. I definitely would not have ordered the product in the first place had I known the regular price of the product and that their customer service would be so impossible to deal with. In addition, I couldn't find anywhere on the email they sent me that said I would be billed the full amount in 14 days. I tried to find their website so I could verify the information they told me over the phone, but I couldn't find the website on any of the material I had been sent via email or regular mail.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $87.43.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I responded to an online offer by this company to try a 30-day free trial of their product and pay only shipping charges of $4.95. There was no indication that it was anything other than a FREE 30-DAY TRIAL with no expectation of future purchases or billing beyond the shipping charges. I provided my name, address, and billing information. I was not and did not check any box pertaining to any specific terms or conditions. I responded to this online offer on 8/8/2013. I received the product within two business days. The shipping charges were debited to my account on 8/8/2013. The product was shipped in a plain brown envelope which contained only a bottle of the product -- no inserts or copies of any terms or conditions was included. I noted on my bank statement today an unauthorized withdrawal of $87.53 by this company on 8/20/2013. I telephoned them and was told through their customer service department that the offer was in fact a 14-day free trial and that I "agreed to the terms and conditions" on their website and agreed to pay for the product I received 14 days after I placed the order. I reiterated to them that I never agreed to such terms and that the offer I responded to clearly said it was a 30-day free trial that required payment of shipping charges only. The representative proceeded to try to appease me with an offer of a discount on my "future purchases" with them and claimed that if I went to their website I would clearly see that this was a 14-day free trial with payment charged following that initial 14 days. I checked their website and in fact the offer currently on their website doesn't give any specific time period. Only that you can obtain your free bottle! You have to scan all the way down to the bottom of their page where there is a "terms and conditions" section in very fine print that doesn't appear to be connected to the offer section of their webpage. I viewed the terms and conditions today (8/21) for the very first time. I never reviewed them or agreed to them at the time I accepted the offer and paid the required shipping charges. I canceled my "account" with them and would now like to receive a refund of the $87.53 in my account which they were never authorized to withdraw.

Review: This company promotes a free trial. They do have in their fine print they will continue to charge after ur 14 day trial but I received my product mar 26 which is 11 days ago and was not given a trial period. I have contact the customer service who offered me a partial refund but I'm sure as u can imagine I want my money back and do not wish to do business with people like that. They have multiple previous complaints of the same nature so they r aware there is an issue. They have specifically said they refuse to give me a full refund. They hVe notified by me that they do not have permission to make anymore transaction on my credit card and I would like my money back.Desired Settlement: Full refund back to my credit card.

Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry to hear you were not satisfied. We offer a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. The trial starts the day the order is placed as the terms and conditions clearly state. There is no fine print. We allow you 14 days before full payment is due. If we do not hear back from you within the 14 day trial we will assume you love the product and enroll you in a monthly membership program. Our records indicate the amount charged $78.42 was voided on 4/6/15. Therefore, nothing was charged and your account was cancelled. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Review: I purchased a FREE TRIAL. A FREE TRIAL. All I had to pay is the $2.95 for shipping. 2 weeks later I was charged $87. The website clearly states I am getting a free trial. I have a receive that shows what I bought. When I called to ask about the charge they told me I should have had a receipt in the package telling me that the terms were changed. Did not have a receipt in the package. There is not access to the terms and conditions when you are checking out. I did not click anything stating that I authorized a charge for $87 at a later date. They are obviously thieves. I am also filed a complaint with the FTC. WARNING to all consumers.Desired Settlement: Give me a refund for the unauthorized charge.

Response:

We do apologize for any inconvenience or confusion, but there is a check box on the order page as well as the terms and conditions listed on the page. Here is the link to where you can find that, as well as a screen shot attached for easier viewing. If that check box is not checked off, the order will not be processed as the customer must agree to the terms and conditions. As a courtesy, we have refunded the customer for their order.

Review: We were sent diet pills per an acct that we did not open. Repeated calls made to company for refund. They offered to only refund 15% of price, but not shipping. When we contacted our bank to dispute charge, operator said she would refund if we would engage bank in a three way call to ensure that we would not dispute charge. my bank advised me to let the fraud dept handle. When I called back, a different operator said she would not refund and gave me an IP address for a computer that is not ours. They were non responsive and unwilling to help.Desired Settlement: I want full refund for unordered product to include shipping charges.

Review: I received an e-mail this morning stating that I would be charge $87.53 for a product I've never heard of. I was hung up on by their customer service representative.Desired Settlement: I want this charge refunded back to my account immediately. If my account is overdrawn because of this unauthorized charge, over draft charges are also requested.

I would like to note that while the refund has been made, I never made that order which is what the dispute was. After telling them it was a false or unauthorized charge, I was essentially called a liar.

Review: They do not make their "FREE Special Offer" clear at time of purchase. I looked all over for any hidden details and found nothing, so I purchased. When the bottle arrived, it came alone, no receipt or information was with it, which I found strange. The company charged me $87.23 almost immediately after I received my "FREE" bottle and advised that I would have had to called within 14-days to stop that charge, but it took nearly that long to receive the product and they make it sound like you have 30-days to try it!!! Unfortunately, I did not even realize any of this, until they began charging me monthly. I asked to return my 2nd bottle, unopened and they would not accept my return or refund any money. I feel as though they are working unethically and are dishonest. They could have at least accepted my return of the 2nd bottle, since it was unopened and I had just received it within the last 28-business hours.Desired Settlement: After speaking with them and realizing what a dishonest racket they have going on, I would like all my money refunded for both bottles. I would be happy to return the unopened bottle, as well as the original bottle.
