Slimmer You Garcinia Cambogia Reviews (239)

Review: I received a link on Facebook advertising this product. The link was (http://www.menhealthreport.com/usx/garcinia964-m-testvol123.php?voluumdata=vid[... The company advertised a free bottle, just pay for shipping at $4.95. After receiving the product, I noticed the label on the bottle looked very generic and decided to research the product. I found multiple Fraud alerts warnings. I reviewed what I had ordered to see if there was any terms and conditions that I might of missed and didn’t find any. A month later I receive a new bottle. I wrote return to sender on it and mailed it back. A month later I received another bottle. I wrote return to sender on it and mailed back as well. I researched my bank transactions and found 4 from this company. $4.95 on 1/27/2014. $87.53 on 2/10/2014. $87.53 on 2/28/2014, and $87.53 on 3/31/2014 I searched my email records and didn’t receive an order confirmation. I did receive confirmation on 3/27/2014 that I will be billed to my account today, but didn’t show the amount. At this point I feel I have been scammed. I called customer support explaining how I was not informed of any terms and conditions, that the advertising link was a fraudulent posting. She began her sales speech trying to give me 60% credit and lower my payment to $19.95 a month from here on out. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told they don’t have one at their location. I told her I was going to speak with an attorney. Her attitude changed and offered me a refund of the last charge of $87.53. I expressed that I work in customer service and would never sell my product this way.

The link no longer works because it has been reported as fraudulent. Even if this product works, the business partners contracted to advertise this product are deceiving, using MensHealth to promote.

This is a sneaky was to do business. False advertising with your slick Terms and Conditions. You should be ashamed of yourself.Desired Settlement: To refund all charges made by this company including the free trial.

To clean up their advertising partnerships

To stand by their product because they believe in it, not hiding behind Terms and Conditions.

When a customer places an order on our website, the terms and conditions as well as the offer are clearly listed on the same page as the checkout, and the customer has to check off a box that they have read, and agree to the terms and conditions which state a 14 day trial which starts the day the order was placed. An email confirmation was also sent to the email address provided. This information is also on your original invoice with their first shipment. This customer placed their order on 1/24/14. Their 14 day trial ended on 2/7/14 and they were charged on 2/8/14 for the bottle they had already received and enrolled in a recurring program per the terms of the offer. These terms are also listed on the invoice with their first bottle and email order confirmations were sent to the email address provided. This customer called our customer service department for the first time on 4/14/14 and was explained the terms. Per the terms you must contact customer by phone to cancel your account. Customer requested the account be cancelled which it was. Customer was explained the terms and conditions again and due to the fact they were outside of the return were offered a courtesy credit of $87.53 which was processed on 4/14/14 and should reflect back within 2-3 business days. As a courtesy we will refund the remaining charges totaling $175.06 which will reflect back within 2-3 business days.We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Review: Back in November 2014 I had come across the Slimmer You garcinia combogia on facebook and it clearly said "free trial". I only paid for the shipping which was $4.95 USD which is $5.75 in AUS. I ordered both that and the Green Coffee cleanse plus. About a MONTH later I recieved the products and then found out that $121.43 ($98.99 USD) and $119.39 was withdrawn from my card. I was in shock thinking it was a free trial, and that it took so long to ship. I didnt do anything at first because I didnt know how to deal with the situation until recently they took and extra $123.26 out of my card. I tried to call the number (888) 278 6952 but it kept saying wrong number unless I was dialling it wrong, then I thought maybe emailing them would work, I emailed [email protected] but the email completely failed. So from that point I thought I had been scamed and someone is stealing my money, I threw away the product cause it didnt look legit, did not have an expiring date on it. I know it is my fault for buying it, but they did not tell me they were going to charge me. Im just worried, and very disappointed.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded, a total of $364.08 (AUS) back, if that doesnt work the lastest $121.43 that they charged me even though they didnt ship anything to me and I want to make a cancellation with both products I want to cancel anything under my name I dont want to try or be sent any of the product.

Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. You are correct, you did sign up for a free trial. It is a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. Simply pay the shipping and handling on day 1 and we will send you a full 30 day supply of our products to try for the first 14 days. We simply ask that you call us within the trial period if you do not want to continue with the program. If we do not hear from you we will simply apply the full retail price for the bottle we sent you and enroll you in a monthly program. All of this is detailed in the terms and conditions on our website and was clearly stated on our check out page when placing the order. These terms must be agreed to or the order will not go through. We do apologize for any misunderstanding. As a courtesy, we have refunded you in full for a total refund of $294.96 USD. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to reflect back to your bank account.

Review: The company charged my debit card without my authorization after I told them I had no money to cover the charge in the bank. Resulting in 3 insufficient fund charges totaling $105.00. And they cancelled my account.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to pay for the overdraft charge. I did not authorize the second charge of 87.00 Because I knew I did not have money in the bank. This has caused me to be late on other bills due to not having enough funds to pay them. And has caused a lot of stress.

Review: signed up for a free trial of Pure Garcinia Cambogie with a small shipping fee. This arrived and while I was trying it I received my credit card bill with 2 charges for 87.53 which I did not authorize. One on 01/10/14 and the other on 01/25/14, all in one billing cycle. I called and told them that I did not want to continue with this product and asked if I needed to send the remainder back, I spoke with Ida, I also stated that they billed me for 2 bottles. She said it was outside of the timeframe (which according to them started on the day I ordered it - not the day I received it) How is it a trial if you don't have the product? and if it is a 14 day trial - why did they send a 30 day supply? Soon after I received the second bottle that I had been billed for - I called again on 2/19/14 - said I had cancelled this. They said they could not give me a refund but would send a $100 Walmart gift card, which in fact was a rebate voucher with no cash value. I feel that I have been cheated and that this practice is unethical.Desired Settlement: I hope that they stop these deceitful practices and refund my money. The product not only did not work but cost me over $175. If you beleive in your product you shouldn't have to hide behind shady promotional practices.

Review: I recently just received my product from the company. I have called to cancel my account and the trial period on May 29,2015 ahead of time due to the long waiting period, and I have a email notification and phone record to prove the above statement. It takes one months for the products to arrive. I also have a tracking number to prove the statement . I have called the company in order to obtain return addresses and an RMA number, but a sales representative refuse to provide such information.Desired Settlement: I want to send back the products that I just received from slimmer you garcia cambogia to make sure that I will not be charged for not sending the products back. So please provide a return address and an RMA number. Thank you.

Thank you for contacting us. Our records show you signed up for a trial just paying the shipping and handling. You cancelled your account before the trial ended. You will be charged nothing further. The bottles are yours to keep for nothing more than the shipping handling you already paid.

I ordered the "Free Sample" just pay shipping and handling...since March 16th 2015- they have robbed my bank account out of $909.79. I called their customer service ( more like "DIS-SERVICE! I have 6 bottles- all with the seals still on- was told I didn't read the fine print, and they refused to refund me. This is a major SCAM - my bank is launching an investigation, and I better get my money back! These thieves need to be put out of business- totally unethical & fraudulent. I plan on telling as many people as possible, so they won't fall victim to this- the media is a good start. I work extremely hard for my money, have a disability to boot- I can't afford to get ripped off- I have ligitimate bills to pay!!!! This is an OUTRAGE!

Review: I accepted a FREE Trial offer on 20th November 2014 of Garcinia Cambogia and Green Coffee but was completely unaware that the Trail period was for 14days as this was not stated when I processed my transaction. Any terms were kept obscured from sight and not advised clearly.

I received the emails confirming my FREE Trial offer and was charged for the Shipping fee only to my credit card on 21st November, 2014. On 17th December, 2014 I was charged AU$122.14 plus AU$3.66 International transaction fee and AU$119.66 plus AU$3.59 International transaction fee.

I was again charged on 2nd January, 2015 AU$120.07 plus AU$3.60 International transaction fee and on 3rd January, 2015 AU$123.20 plus AU$3.70 International transaction fee. I reported the unauthorised transactions to my Bank and had to cancel my credit card which is very inconvenient as I now have to contact all the suppliers that I have Direct Debits registered with to advise new details. I have never had this happen to me before and because of the amount of money that has been taken from my account without authorisation I am very upset about this situation.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and as I have cancelled my credit card and do not wish to give my new credit card details I would like them to email me so we can organise how to arrange the refund due.

Review: This company somehow acquired my personal information- I still have no idea how- and started automatically debiting my checking account. They have stolen about $250 from me before I noticed the charges on my account. Customer service has been an absolute nightmare. The phone number is for a call center in which the people answering are authorized to do nothing to resolve these sorts of complaints, and it is next to impossible to speak to a supervisor. They have flat out refused to let me speak to a supervisor on multiple occasions. They told me to fill out forms with the post office for missing packages, but the form is for reimbursement of insured packages. I can't insure a package I never ordered!I have spent weeks trying to resolve this so I don't have to file fraud charges with my bank, but the best I have gotten so far is a partial reimbursement. Now I fear that they have been selling my information. About 6 weeks after I noticed the first charge, I started receiving multiple and excessive telemarketing calls (one for a free trial of [redacted]!)despite my being on the do not call list. I am at my wits end with this mess!!!Desired Settlement: Please help me get the rest of my money refunded. They have told me they are refunding some of it, but this is unacceptable. I never ordered their product.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9655467, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, but I am concerned about whether or not the full amount will be refunded. I received emails stating that they will refund the full amount ($267.54) but they left me a voice message stating I would be refunded only $175.00. I am not sure what action I should take if the full amount is not refunded?

Review: Signed up for a free trial and they think because they put something in small print at the bottom that everyone looks at that. Charged my card again for $87.53 but its my fault for not reading the small print. it is their fault for not disclosing up front that it is going to charge that much money. NEVER would have signed up for a FREE trial if it was going to charge this much. Their customer service is rude and unprofessional and do not help with anything, they are a scam and should be shut down as a business.Desired Settlement: My $87.53 back in my account

Response:

Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. We are very sorry to hear that you feel the terms and conditions were not legible. They are clearly stated on the checkout page and must be agreed or the order will not go through. By agreeing to the terms you are stating you read them and give your consent for us to charge you the full price of the bottle at the end of the trial. We offer a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply. If we do not hear from you within the first 14 days to cancel we will assume you love the product and simply apply $87.53 as stated in the terms and conditions. Again, we do apologize for any misunderstanding. We want all our customers to be satisfied. That is why we have refunded your account in full. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund of $87.53 to reflect back to your original method of payment.

Review: This product was advertised on facebook. I reluctantly gave it a try believing that the initial cost was $4.95 for a 30 day supply of the Garcinia Cambogia supplements. They don't work and I was billed two weeks later for the cost for the pills (9/9/14). I called to cancel any future shipments believing that I would be refunded the $87.53. I checked my credit card statement on 9/23/14 and had not been credited. I also did not receive the cancellation email that was promised. I have sinced filed a dispute with my credit card company in the hopes that they will refund the charge.Desired Settlement: I would expect to get a refund of the full amount of the $87.53 since I was led to believe by the advertisement that I was being provided with a 30 day supply to try and then could cancel at any time. I was not provided with any information that stated that I was going to have to pay for the initial shipment if I did cancel. I did cancel within the 30 days so I feel entitled to a full refund.

Review: I ordered this product and the disclaimer says you get 14 days to fully evaluate the product for $4.95, I paid $7.95 & today is day 14. When I tried to cancel, they said they would still bill me $87.53 which is the remaing full retail price which gets billed on day 15. They said it already went through on their end, my account is still pending for the transaction and they say they will not canel the transaction or refund the $87.53. The representative who asnwered my call is [redacted] told her twice I was no longer interested in the product & wanted to cancel with a refund. She continued to offer me upgrades. I asked for the supervisor and she refused stating they would tell me the same thing. Their site also has a 100% money back guarantee, which they are not honoring.Desired Settlement: I would like the $87.53 returned to me as soon as possible and for them to stop misadvertising. Thank you.

When a customer places an order on our website the terms and conditions are clearly stated on the checkout page and must be agreed to by the customer. The terms and conditions is a legal binding contract. The customer placed their order for a 14 day trial of a 30 day supply on June 22, 2014. The 14 day trial ended on July 6, 2014 and the customer was charged per the terms for the full retail price of the trial bottle. Our records indicate this customer called the day after their trial ended on July 7, 2014. The agent voided the transaction on July 7. It takes 48-72 hours for the charge to fall off the customers account. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Review: This product is ;offered at a trial rate of $4.95 cents , but the terms and conditions do not tell the consumer that after the bottle is opened , and after 14 days , that same bottle cost over $80.00 and your credit card will be charged early if your 14 day trial falls on the weekend .It is very misleading advertising and is also promoted and vouched for by The Dr.Oz TV Show .Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and for the company to state up front on its advertising that this product cost over $80.00 and cannot be refunded once you open the bottle and they charge your card prior to the 14 day trial if it falls on the weekend .

If that box is not checked off, the order will not go through. This customer called in and spoke to a customer service representative, at the time the customer extended their trial offer for them as requested, and also offered a future discount, the customer accepted this and wanted to continue to try the product. As courtesy, we will refund the last charge. The customer should see that reflection on their account within 4-6 business days.

Review: I recently ordered a free sample of the garcinia cambogia from http://www.garciniacambogiaslimmer.com/ on 6/17/13 and paid $2.95 in shipping and handling got the product in the mail no problems (read fine print when ordering and it didn't say anything about recurring charges). Then all of a sudden when looking at my bank account today on 7/2/13, I see an unauthorized charge to my account of $87.53, but I didn't order any more of the product! I can not afford unauthorized transactions and worry how my information is being used. Please help me solve this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $87.53 for the unauthorized charges and for my information to be deleted and account canceled where no further charges can be placed on my account.

Review: THE COMPANY ADVERTISED A FREE SAMPLE JUST PAY FOR SHIPPING 4.99. THERE WERE TERMS IF YOU DON NOT LIKE THE PRODUCT AFTER 14 DAYS CALL AND CANCEL BUT I DID NOT RECEIVE THE PRODUCT UNTIL AFTER 7 DAYS SO DID NOT HAVE 14 DAYS TRIAL. THEY AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED ME FO RA NEW SHIPMENT WHEN I SAW THE DEDUCTION I CALLED THEY SAID I AGREED TO TERMS BUT AGAIN I DIDNT HAVE 14 DAYS WITH THE PRODUCT AND THEY IT STARTS THE DAY YOU ORDER IT. I WAS NOT AWARE. I TOLD THEM THE PRODUCT DID NOT WORK IN THE 7 DAYS I HAD IT SO PLEASE REFUND ME MONEY AND DO NOT SEND ME ANYHTING ELSE. THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT. THEY GAVE ME BACK 60 PERCENT OF MY MONEY. THE PRODUCT IS SUPPOSE TO BE MONEY BACK QUARANTEED IF NOT SATISFIED. THSI HAS BEEN A NIGHT MARE. SO ITS NOT A FREE SAMPLE IN THE ENS AND THEY EVEN IF YOU DONT LIKE IT YOU DONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND YOU DO NOT GET 14 DAYS TO TRY IT. NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE. ALSO WHEN I RECEIVED THE FREE TRIAL THERE WAS NO PAPERWROK OR ANYTHING TO REMIND YOU OF THE AGREEMENT YOU MADE ONLINE NOTHING CAME EXCEPT THE BOTTLE. YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD SEND YOU A REMINDER AND TELL YOU WHEN YOUR 14 DAYS ARE UP. WHAT IF I NEVER RECEIVED THE FREE TRIAL?? IT TOOK OVER A WEEK TO GET TO ME. THIS IS SNEEKY PEOPLE STEALING YOUR MONEY ADN NOT HONORING ANY RULES OR CARING. Review: I ordered a product as a free trial. When placing order I did click to agree to the terms and conditions, but I didn't have the option to view them. A month later I am charged almost $100. When calling the company, I was on hold for 45 minutes. Just to be told that the charge had already been made and that there was nothing she could do to stop it. When I mentioned that I would file a dispute, I was then informed that she could no longer speak to me and that I would have to call back with the bank on the line before she could speak again. So I can't get a refund or stop any payments just because I mentioned I would file a dispute.Desired Settlement: For them to fully disclose all terms and conditions properly or an option to view them. Review: My story is the same as many on this Revdex.com webpage. I responded to an online offer for a FREE 30 day supply of the product for shipping charges of $2.95. On July 30, 2013 I sent for the offer. I saw no mention of any other charges. On August 2nd I received the sample and was surprised to find only the sample bottle in the envelope. I thought this is odd, don't company's usually try to sell you other products or offers? Then on September 2nd I received another bottle in the mail. I checked my account online and found they had debited my credit card for $87.53 on August 26, 2013. I called them and they would not do anything to help me and the representative said "l am now terminating this call" and hung up. She did say she canceled my account but I am worried that they might charge me again. On September 4th. I returned the full bottle and sent it certified mail. Identical products can be found on Amazon for as little as $13.00Desired Settlement: I never gave permission for them to bill my account for anything other than the $2.95. Please help me get my money back.

Review: I accepted a FREE Trial offer not including postage on Feb. 16, 2015 of Garcinia Cambogia and Green Coffee but was completely unaware that the Trail period was for 14days as this was not stated when I processed my transaction.y. I received on emails about my order being shipped on Feb. 19, 2015. On March 3, 2015 I was charged $125.08CA including postage for the Garcinia Cambogia an charged on March 3, 2015 for Green Coffee in the amount of $114.88CA twice. for I phoned Slimmer You and was told about the 14 day trail period which was not made clear when I accepted the FREE trail. When I informed them this they said, relunctly, that they would cancel my account. When I asked to cancel the Green Cofee they told me I had to call anothor number in order to have that canceled. I found the charges on my online bank statement today, March 14, 2015 when I was doing bill payments. I am on a very low fixed income due to not being able to work due disability. The amount that Slimmer You billed me for was for my Rent that is due on March 15, 2015. This causing much distress and have had a panic attack in regards to this whole businessDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the Garcinia Cambogia and refund for the two charges for the Green Coffee. I would like an email from they indicating that they are refunding me and an email indicating when they have processed the refund with the date of the transaction to my bank.

Review: 1. On 4/4/14 I ordered a Garcinia Cambogia at garciniacambogia1000trial.com and paid $4.95 for a free trial. Then I received an email that said the item was shipped and the Order Number: [redacted] and Call our Customer Service to manage your order anytime [redacted]. 2.On 4/14/14 I replied that email saying that until 4/14/14 I have not received the product.I didn't get any answer.3. I called Customer Service at 18882786952 and they sent a new product to me and changed the ending date of the trial and the refund date to 5/15/14.4. 4. When I received the product on 4/22/14 I decided to return the product without open the box (I have the Post Office receipt for this return)5. On 5/6/14 I received an email from the company that said "Congratulations on taking advantage of Slimmer You Garcinia Cambogia" also shows "Order Number: [redacted]" and shows " Customer service can be reached at [redacted] M-F 8am-7pm EST. That day my credit card was charged with $ 87.53. 6. I called them on 5/10/14 and spoke to Thalia, a Supervisor, she said they can not give me a refund because I didn't follow the company rules for the refund. Also said that the returned product was sent back to me. 7. On 5/16/14 I called again and I spoke to Monica at [redacted] because on 4/22/14 I returned the product, and if they resend it back to me because I didnt follow the company return policy, then, there was more than enough time to me to receive the product on time and make the return according to the company rules before May 15/2014. But they failed to resend the product back to me on time and today is May 16 and I have not the product, and the time for get the refund is expired. Their answer today is that I have to continue waiting and call back again.8. Today 5/16/14 I have not the product, have a $92.48 (87.53+4.95= $92.48) charged on my credit card, and has no the right to get my refund!!!Desired Settlement: I request a complete refund of $92.48 from this company.

This customer placed their order on 4/4/14. The product was delivered on 4/9/14 per the United States Postal Service. We have attached the delivery confirmation. Customer called on 4/8/14 requesting tracking information. She was given the tracking number and advised the product shipped on 4/7/14. Customer called again on 4/15/14 and stated she never received the product. Agent tracked the package and it showed delivered. Customer claimed they did not receive it. We reshipped the product again on 4/15/14 and it was delivered on 4/19/14 per USPS. Customer was given an extension on their trial period to 5/6/14. Agent advised must call no later than 5/5/14 if they want to cancel. Customer called in on 5/10/14 to cancel the account. Account was cancelled. Per the return policy in the terms and conditions customers must return products with an RMA#. As a courtesy we have refunded this customer $87.53 and the original shipping and handling charge of $4.95 for a total of $92.48. The refund should reflect back within 2-3 business days We do apologize for any inconvenience.
