Hello,Thank you for reaching out to Sling TV on our behalfI really appreciate it.I am disappointed by Sling TV's refusal to refund us for a programme that we did not watchThe step verification process that Sling is referring to is just a couple of clicks, which my old year clicked by mistake.If Sling cannot refund for accidental clicks on their PPV programme, then they need to have customers set up a pin when they are installing the app like *** Video does, so that accidental clicks don't happenAlso what if someone who can't read English clicks "Yes" for the step verification process? Their step verification process seems just an eye washSling's practice seems to purposefully lure customers to click on something and then refuse to pay for accidental clicks.I am not the only one complainingThere are over reviewers complaining about SLING Tv regarding the same issue: https://sling-tv.pissedconsumer.com/review.html.I further wanted to note that we called Sling TV customer service within mins of my son clicking accidentally on the PPV programmeOne of the clicks was for a programme that started in the future on Dec 31stDetails of the charges are belowWhat I don't understand is how Sling can refuse to refund for programmes that starts in the futureThere are plenty of other complaints in the link provided above about Sling refusing to pay for accidental PPV programmes occurring in the future. Rizin FF: Cro Cop vs Kohsaka which begins at Sunday, Dec 31, 2:AM PST $24.99UFC 219: Cyborg v Holm which begins at Saturday, Dec 30, 6:PM PST $59.99 Overall, I feel by Sling's refusal to refund for accidental PPV and that too for future programmes is unethicalDoes Sling have any data on their step verification process? I feel like just by accidentally sitting on the TV remote and end up clicking these PPVs and then will be made to pay for these programmes by askingIf Sling truly cares about their reputation and customer service, they would update their refund policy and would refund me as well. While I am not happy with hearing the usual "we do not have any more information at this time" regarding the Xbox One app and its issues, I have taken some consideration in this matter and will begrudgingly accept the offer of a $credit on my Sling account for six monthsHowever, I do have a couple of matters I want to address to Sling before I make my acceptance finalSling mentioned about one of the "three month bundles" that they have, which includes me getting a free Roku Streaming Stick if I prepay for three monthsI do not feel that I should have to pay $(which would be the cost of my service after the credit, totaling $40/month) just to get a new piece of equipment considering that I am using two separate devices to stream on my TV (that being a Roku and an Xbox One) as well as the normally functioning Windows and Android appsTo try to upsell me into another piece of equipment is a little bit insultingOne of the biggest reasons I decided to order Sling TV is that they promised that Cwould be availableIt has been listed on my billing information since I started my subscription back in AugustI have already looked at other streaming services that are available, such as PlayStation Vue, which has both Cand CPlusThis is very important to me as I am a huge hockey fan and am unable to watch games by any other meansThe apartment I am living in only has high speed internet and due to NHL local blackout restrictions, I cannot watch my team on NHL.TVThat is why I am so adamant about Sling TV fulfilling their promise of adding CSN-MAWhen I saw it was removed on the main channel list, I was angry about it, though I still list it as "Coming Soon" on my monthly billing informationAdding NHL Network is a huge plus, and I thank Sling TV for doing that, but it still won't help me with local blackouts.I hope to hear from Sling soon before I make my final acceptance on this offer
