She stated their corporate office has made their decision on all rate increases, and nothing could be done to change it? Hour Fitness pulled the textbook bait-and-switch on me, and it appears through what I've read online, there are thousands of other members who fell victim to their unfair business practices as well.Regards,*** ***

[I was contacted by Hour Fitness' District Manager, *** on 10/13/and asked to provide my details of the events on 9/5/2017.? I explained how I was denied access to the club, citing the club manager's reason as I, "had been a member or guest of the club in the PAST".? *** informed me of the club manager's lie, in which she claimed that I was only denied access because I was being "disruptive to a positive member experience".? I informed *** that I was already aware of her lie, as I had attempted to resolve the issue times with Hour Fitness customer service before finally being left with no choice but to contact the Revdex.com.? The club manger's (***'s) response which is "canned" in nature and devoid of detail, unlike my thoroughly descriptive complaints.? It is also completely absurd as I would have no reason to behave disruptively given I was only in the club for a matter of minutes and was satisfied with the experience up until she denied me access.? Ultimately, *** informed me that he was ONLY contacting me at that time, in regards to ***'s REBUTTAL to my complaint.? Although he did say that he would contact me again soon, once he reviewed the tape at the Northgate club, I found, and continue to find, this to be very upsetting as I am the one to present the initial complaint and am STILL waiting for Hour Fitness to address the issue FROM MY PERSPECTIVE.? Not from the perspective of the club manager (***) who is CLEARLY providing a "canned" response to cover her unwillingness to allow me to use a day pass, for absolutely no good reason.? Until *** contacts me again and is willing to acknowledge ***'s insubordination, there is no way to interpret the situation other than:? Hour Fitness is a COMPANY which subscribes to deceptive business practices in the form of offering free passes online, but forces customers to pay for a day pass, once they arrive at the club to redeem the pass.)? I reiterated to *** and I reiterate to whom this may concern at the Revdex.com, that *** DID IN FACT, offer to let me PURCHASE a day pass AFTER denying use of the day free pass.? The point of this detail being that she is just completely lying when she cites that I was denied access, not because I didn't meet the criteria of the day pass, but because I was being disruptive.? ? ? *** needs to understand how much effort I have put into resolving this, and how absurd ***'s story is.? He needs to contact me IN REGARDS TO MY COMPLAINT, not her rebuttal.? It has been nearly two months since I was left embarrassed, essentially discriminated against, and had my time and travel expenses wasted on 9/4/2017.]

Instead they say that buried somewhere in my contract is a section that allows them to double my membership rates.? This is a direct contradiction to what the the trainer who signed me up indicated.? He was very vocal that this membership, with the large up front cost, would lock me into a set rate for life.? There are many other members who are having this same complaint; obviously showing that Hour Fitness used statements in order to recruit many members.Regards,*** ***

An individual from 24's office did call me.? He told me that there was nothing that he could do about my contract and honoring the price that I was paying and letting me attend? all? facilities.? The only option he gave me was to upgrade my contract to a new contract so that I could now attend any store.? I know that this upgrade was a good deal compared to what new members are paying but it was still going to double my current fee.? With that said, I don't think that the conflict was resolved with a new contract because they are not honoring the original contact to let me attend any and all facilities with my annual fee.?

She stated my request could not be done by here and that I should contact the person who originally made me the offer? When I told her the csstomer service person in corporate told me it was not possible to reach the person who made the commitment she said she could not help?
This is clearly a run around back and forth between people who all have no interest in fulfilling the offer I was made? I also asked, when I spoke to the customer service representative, before I filed this complaint, who I could go to at a higher level and was told there is no one else I can speak with
Clearly the only interest this firm has is in money and there is no interest in good customer relations? My request would be of no cost to them but all they want is for me to pay to upgrade my membership.?

[hour fitness did contact me but they offered no solutionAll they did was explain where their sales employees had made a mistake in falsifying information when selling memberships to much of the publicThey offered no apology and actually no resolution was even offeredI'm very disappointed with them as a businessI have found that there are many petitions being signed by people that were also lied to by hour fitness sales associatesI will sign these petitions and also file a complaint with the state attorney general of the federal trade commission.The fact that this business is trying to close this complaint without any action is very upsetting.]
