As we have previously advised the pictures we were provided do not display what can be determined as manufacturer defect we are unable to proceed with a replacementThe item was received and the customer signed delivery paperwork stating that the items were delivered in good condition.? Coleman Furniture bears no responsibility for damages that may occur after the delivery is received by the customer? However, as a courtesy we will refund the customer $once the dispute he initiated with his financial institution is resolved.? Coleman has again misrepresented the situation and the amount is still in dispute with the credit card company? Coleman issued a partial refund despite my advising them that I would be disputing the charge and to not issue me the refund? Coleman represented to the credit card company that a refund for the item was issued, however, that is not 100% accurate? Furthermore, Coleman furniture again misrepresented the reality of the situation to the credit card company by telling the credit card company that I failed to appear on the date of the delivery in an effort to get a resolution in their favor? I have coordinated with Bank of America to place the outstanding balance for the cost of the couch back in dispute based on additional evidence presented? I did not reach out to Coleman furniture prior to the purchase of the couch to confirm the dimensions because I assumed, incorrectly, that the representations made regarding the size of the couch on the website would be correct and that the dimensions would not need to be confirmed pre-purchase? Additionally, I trusted that the company would retain a reliable and competent delivery company who would make a good faith effort to deliver the purchased furniture? Instead no good faith effort was made to deliver the furniture as the company arrived, was on site for minutes, made no effort to move/maneuver the couch into the home, and left quickly before allowing me to call the furniture company to work something out? The couch purchased was the exact same size as the couch previously in the home (down to the inch) which was moved into the home by professional, competent, and reliable movers? There is no explanation as to why Coleman could not have delivered the purchased couch other than to keep over 50% of the purchase price while alleging that it is the "purchasers responsibility" to ensure that the couch is delivered even when using an incompetent delivery service who made no effort to deliver the product? ? ? ? [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] Unfortunately, the website does not indicate the size of each item prior to assemblyMany couches have removable pieces and the site said that assembly would be requiredThat, coupled with the fact that they only indicated a minimum required door width (which all doors in my building met) and not any information about hallway or ceiling minimums, meant that I could not have known what size the hallway or ceiling needed to beI followed all instructions given to me - hallways were clear, loading dock was reserved (as was the elevator) etc...Many other websites include explicit information for measuring if items will fit through hallways etcHere is an example:? Additionally, it's entirely possible that the sofa would have fit BUT it was wrapped in a good amount of packing and the delivery men were instructed not to remove the packing to try and make it fit for fear of damaging the itemThe packing added an inch or two on every side and could have easily made the difference in getting the piece in my apartmentI am concerned because the woman giving instructions to the delivery men was having difficulty communicating with themShe was also incredibly rude to me and refused to actually listen to the details of my situationInstead, she told that I would be paying and that was the end of the discussionThe company then withheld the money I had paid for the couch without my permission for round trip shipping (even though the shipping to me was supposed to be included with my original payment) and a 15% "restocking" fee.Keeping my money without my permission and for an issue that they caused by not providing additional measurement information and having poor communication with the delivery men amounts to taking my money to compensate for their poor planningIn addition to not having my couch, I now have less money to purchase a replacement plus the time cost since I took time off of work to be home for the deliveryI am simply asking for a full refundThis unfortunate situation occurred because they did not provide all required information.Thank you ? [redacted] Coleman Furniture spoke with this customer on 11where he was advised that the corresponding [redacted] tracking number was expected to ship from the manufacturer? and was? en route to a designated warehouseOnce it arrives at the designated warehouse, it will then be scheduled for pick up by [redacted] and then delivered to the customer.? The correspondence that was conveyed between the customer and Coleman Furniture on 11stated that the order would be received by the customer on 11Coleman Furniture recognized the error that was made on 11and sincerely apologizes for this miscommunication.? [redacted] , Customer received delivery of his items and the lock for the curio was defective At the time of delivery the lock was returned to the local warehouse and we reached out to the manufacturer to receive a replacement lock The lock was received and a certified technician was dispatched to the customers home to install the lock Unfortunately the door the lock attaches to has a manufacturer defect and the lock was not able to be installed We have reached out to the manufacturer and are at this time waiting on information from the customer to enable us to resolve this problemDuring delivery the customer also indicated that the reclining function on the power sofa was not functioning properly and a reclining mechanism and power motor was ordered for the customer The customer was advised that the once the part was received a certified tech would be sent to completely restore the item to 100% Coleman Furniture has been in constant contact with customer including as recently as 6/*/and customer has indicated his willingness for us to resolve the issue as we have outlinedSharon M [redacted] Coleman Furniture

Coleman Furniture has a very rigorous quality control procedure that mandates all items are inspected for defects or damage prior to delivery to customer to ensure that items are at 100%.? Unfortunately the customers item did not pass inspection and customer was advised of this.? Customer opted to cancel order instead of allowing us to resolve the issue for her.A replacement item was ordered for the customer and the customer was offered a monetary compensation for the delay in delivering her order.? Customer decided that she wanted to cancel her order and as such cancellation fees were assessed.?
