Our terms and conditions that all customers must agree to when they place their order advises that all ETA are estimates only and there can be delays due to such things as product availability, transit times and delivery time framesThey also state that ? if an item arrives at the delivery company and is not at 100% manufacturer standards we will restore that item prior to delivery.? Parts have been ordered from the manufacturer to restore the items and once they arrive and are installed the customer will receive an immediate delivery.As compensation for the frustration the customer has experienced we will purchase the Additional Protection Plan for the customer.Sharon M [redacted] Coleman Furniture

I, again, must disagree that the issues I am referring to are considered a customer preference and not poor company standards that the sofa was assembled with such disregard for manufacturing a quality piece of furniture? Pictures do not really do the looks of the sofa justice? It would have been nice to find that Ashley would stand behind their product and at the very least have sent someone out to look at the furniture to confirm that, when assembled, it was done improperly? Which is evident in the tilting seat backs and staples sticking out My biggest regret with this furniture is that I did not see how poorly it was assembled when delivered? I had waited for delivery for months - part of which time I was dealing with damages to the furniture before it was even delivered to me that needed to be repaired, so my main concern when delivered was that the damage had been repaired - never thinking that I should check on assembly and tilted seat backs! ? Very disappointed in how Coleman Furniture as the seller and Ashley Furniture as the manufacturer stand behind their product ? **complaint is resolved after much hassle and back and forth on my part.? What I was trying to communicate was their practice of business I do not find satisfactory.? When initially ordering with Coleman Furniture they make delivery sound like a great thing.? Not the hassle it turned in to!? The delivery company they hired is not professional.? Their lack of timely communication and missed appointment is what lead to all of this.? Multiple times delivery company told Coleman they had talked to me.? I was calling Coleman back to see where we were at in resolving as I could not get an answer at delivery company or a voicemail returned.? Coleman believed delivery company had communicated with me like they said; they had not.? Coleman Furniture should take a look at who they have representing their name!? Will not do business with them again! ? Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint HAS been resolved, HOWEVER: After my complaint was filed with the Revdex.com and after unrelenting persistence on my part a Coleman representative agreed to the full refund, thus resolving MY issue with this transaction.That said, I strongly recommend the Revdex.com investigate the business practices of this companyTheir terms and conditions and "fine print" are very hidden and ambiguous so when a purchase is made, all included clauses trap the consumer into essentially purchasing a damaged item without the chance of a full refund, no matter the damage, no matter the shipping time or shipping delaysI was nearly months with still no item and no estimated shipping dateIt is my belief that Coleman purchases damaged items at a significantly reduced price, attempts to "repair" them, hikes up the price, and markets them as new and undamaged to the consumerThis in itself is fraud.The there is a delay in shipping because the items sit in a warehouse while repairs are being madeNone of this is made clear to the consumer, and every attempt at trying to locate your item is covered in lies by their representatives.Reputable furniture companies stand behind the products they sale, and if they are damaged, usually the consumer does not pay for that productI was lied to many times by Coleman furniture representativesTheir deception was debunked only when a representative mistakenly informed me my item was damaged and in a warehouse for repair, otherwise I would not have known I was essentially getting damaged goods with "hidden" repairsI strongly believe consumers need to be aware of the unethical and misleading methods Coleman uses to trap a consumer into a purchase they will not get for months.THEREFORE I AM URGING THE Revdex.com TO LOOK AT REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY ONLINE, THERE ARE MANY MANY ALLEGATIONS OF FRAUD AND DECEITFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES Thank you for your time on this, please let me know if something can be doneMy item was 2,and I was prepared to file in small claims against Coleman In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

We received a call during delivery and the item was able to fit in the door as the customer indicates, however, the customer failed to measure the stairwell that the item would have to pass through to get into he customers home.? This is all the customers responsibility as well.? The items that were attempted to be delivered were in fact the correct items and the customer was given the option of using the services of a sofa Dras opposed to returning the items.? I did not cancel they simply did not deliver as ordered than tried to put the onus on me.? MadelineColeman Furniture has repeatedly tried to resolve this with the customer? All items are opened at the delivery company and inspected for damages - that is why the items were wrapped in shipping blankets when they arrived to the customers home.? We understand the headboard had received some transit damage.? We advised the customer that as per our terms and conditions that he agreed to when he placed his order we would restore the item and re-deliver to him.? The customer declined to have us do so.? The customer refused the nightstands as they did not fit into the space he wanted and as per our terms and conditions the customer is responsible for all dimensions.? As such customer was refunded minus fees for the return of the bed and nightstands.? We would not be refunding the cancellation fees.Sharon M [redacted] Coleman Furniture

Due to the nature of Furniture we never promise customers a guaranteed delivery date when placing their orders.? That being said, the customers order is currently at the local delivery company and is able to be delivered to them.? The customer has advised they want to cancel their order instead of accepting delivery and as such there would be fees that are associated with the cancellation.? First, the statement, “Coleman Furniture has to hold with the belief that today's consumers when purchasing items online are aware of what certain terminology means”, might be the biggest cop out I have ever heard.? How can a company make such a grandiose assumption?? That assumption cannot be applied to an entire consumer population.? That statement is more proof that Coleman Furniture knows they are provided deceptive product descriptions.? Coleman Furniture will pull that statement out of their back pocket when they feel they are in the wrong but, want to shift blame back onto the consumer.Second, if Coleman Furniture wants verifiable proof that the term Select Hardwood is deceptive then I will provide it.? Since they feel every consumer should know what all industry terms mean then the definition should be easy to find.? Right?? Well, it is not easy to find.? I typed, “Select Hardwood Furniture Definition” into a search engine and was unable to find a reputable source providing Coleman Furniture’s definition of Select Hardwood on the first page of results.? However, I did find a reputable guide to buying solid hardwood flooring that talks about the grading system.? There is a grade of solid hardwood flooring that is “Select and Better Hardwood”? It is the second best grade and is made of solid hardwood? Not MDF like Coleman Furniture's definition of "Select Hardwood"? After reading the definition of “Select and Better Hardwood”, it would be a completely logical jump to assume that "Select and Better Hardwood" is just another way of saying "Select Hardwood" since there were no results for Select Hardwood.? I feel Universal Furniture and Coleman Furniture know that their definition of Select Hardwood is hard to find and when consumers see the definition for Select and Better Hardwood flooring they will assume it applied to furniture as well.? Since I just provided verifiable proof that a reasonable consumer cannot find Coleman Furniture’s definition of Select Hardwood I want a full refund since it has now once again been brought to Coleman Furniture’s attention that the term “Select Hardwood” is extremely deceiving.? I will gladly donate the table and chairs in Coleman Furniture’s name to a local charity once I receive my refund.?
