I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I agree, reviewing bank statements following a cancellation is a must. One can not assume that the business has followed through on their end. I also suggest keeping a copy of a cancellation for instances where that document is not located. As for lying, I wasn't even aware of these charges until YOUR staff contacted ME for updated credit card information.

Ms. [redacted] was told by an associate that they would be able use Ms. [redacted]’s card to assist with the return. The receipt however could not be retrieved and the wet receipt had been discarded. Ms [redacted] went to the cash office and was told that the receipt was invalid. We have escalated this incident to the [redacted] Walmart’s management team. The [redacted] Walmart team will be reaching out to Ms. [redacted] to address the issue and to resolve any open issues. We have also spoken to Ms. [redacted] and apologized as well. received Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, we reviewed his Walmart.com account and order history. On November 24, 2015, Mr. [redacted] placed an order for Hatch NR209 Water Rescue Gloves. This item was processed and shipped by our marketplace vendor, Botach Inc. All returns or refunds need to be handled by Botach Inc. We contacted Botach Inc. regarding the wrong size Mr. [redacted] has received. They have advised that the order shows size XS that was placed. Mr. [redacted] did contact Botach Inc via email regarding this issue. Botach Inc has emailed Mr. [redacted] the return instructions, so Mr. [redacted] can return the gloves and get a refund. Additionally, we have sent all coaching opportunities to the appropriate team to review and address. For the inconvenience, we issued a $10 Egift Card. As such, Walmart.com considers this matter closed.

When products are ordered from a Marketplace Seller, all returns and refunds for products are handled through the specific Seller. Please note, we do provide contact information for each Marketplace Seller on walmart.com, and the customer is notified at the time of order that they are purchasing the item from the Marketplace Seller. Additionally, the product description includes the specific Seller’s Shipping and Return Policy.We notified the Jewelry Unlimited Inc’s support team about Mr. [redacted]’s concerns and requested his order be refunded. On June 7, 2017, we contacted Mr. [redacted] directly and explained that Jewelry Unlimited Inc had issued his refund. He should expect to see it go back to the original method of payment in 3-5 business days. Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. Walmart DID NOT resolve the issue as they wanted me to file an unethical police report for a stolen package that was not delivered and improperly investigated by UPS. I made several attempts to resolve the issue with all three vendors involved, but no success. Not only did this require a lot of time, but it caused a lot of stress and inconvenience. Walmart would not even apologize for the inconvenience. The responses from [redacted] (Walmart) saddened me as I expected better customer service to resolve this issue. Although her response lacks key (customer) details, the issue was resolved by my financial institution instead of Walmart. Walmart lacks proper customer service training and accountability during situations like this.

Once we became aware of this issue, we immediately took corrective action to investigate and rectify the error. We attempted to cancel orders to prevent any confusion but Ms. [redacted]'s order was fulfilled and she was sent 4 $10 gift cards, which is what she was charged for. Our records indicate that the gift cards have been redeemed. As such, a refund for the order will not be issued. For her inconvenience, we did send Ms. [redacted] the $15 eGift card that was original offered to her. Walmar[redacted] considers this matter closed.

I'd like to know why Walmart lied to me on several occasions during this ordeal. Walmart's customer service agents told me TWICE over a 2 week period that the refund HAD been processed and that [redacted] was holding up the process. They also told me TWICE that the $15 gift card HAD been sent. These were both LIES. After waiting over 2 weeks for my money back, yes, I DID get tired of waiting and I did use the 4 $10 gift cards. Coincidentally, Walmart contacted me right after I used them, as if they had been waiting for me to use them so that they did not have to refund my payment.
Walmart's agents are liars, Walmart is an extremely shady company. I will never spend another penny at Walmart. I hope that $40 was worth losing an entire family of lifetime customers over.

On June 24, 2017, Mr. [redacted] placed an order for a Refurbished VIZIO SmartCast 65" Class E-Series - 4K Ultra HD, Smart, LED Home Theater Display TV to have shipped to his local store. The item was delayed and arrived to the store for pick up after the expected delivery date. Due to this delay, our customer support team issued a discount of $29.50. Our records show that Mr. [redacted] paid for his order using the Pay In Person option and paid at his local store. When a refund is processed for a Pay In Person order, the customer will need to visit a Walmart store to retrieve their refund. Our records show that the $29.50 was revived.
 
Our records show that the order was fully refunded by the store, but was not refunded properly. We do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused Mr. [redacted]. Our billing team has processed a refund in the form of a check to Mr. [redacted]’s home address. The refund amount is $702.79. The check was processed on July 7, 2017. reviewed his account and order history. On March 9, 2017, Mr. [redacted] ordered a Refurbished Samsung 55" 4K Ultra HD 2160p 60Hz LED Smart HDTV. Mr. [redacted] was expecting a curved TV as the photos on the web site show. What was received was a flat TV. Mr. [redacted] had the TV returned and had a replacement sent. The replacement was also not a curved TV. The model number of the TV, [redacted], is not a curved TV. As per our terms, “If you find a product is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it”. As our agents had the item resent without checking the type of TV Mr. [redacted] was expecting we are making an exception and we are sending Mr. [redacted] a Walmart Gift Card in the amount of the difference of a flat TV and a like model curved TV so Mr. [redacted] can purchase a curved TV. Once we became aware of this issue, we immediately took corrective action to investigate and rectify the error.  Unfortunately, given the wide discrepancy in pricing, we have canceled orders and some were fulfilled incorrectly. On June 5, 2017 Mr. [redacted] placed an order for the Intex 16' x 48" Prism Frame Above Ground Swimming Pool with Filter Pum for home delivery. He only received box 2 of his order. Mr. [redacted] has returned the box 2 and has been refunded. As a courtesy, we have placed a new order for the Summer Waves Elite 16' x 48" Round Premium Metal Frame Above Ground Swimming Pool with Deluxe Accessory Set .
