Sprint Now Part of T-Mobile Reviews (%countItem)

I tried for the first 25 days and had fantastic service everywhere, even when I was roaming. The 25th day my service was suspended for non payment even though my bill wasn't even due yet. On the 27th day for no apparent reason it just started working again when I received a text saying my services would be limited until the bill was paid. I paid the bill and a week later I received a text saying I used all my data, so I pay 15$ for add on data and the following morning I wake up to another text saying that data was gone. So I spoke with a chat agent and asked if I could just switch to the 60$ unlimited plan since I had now paid 68$ and the assured me several times that it was switched and I wouldn't be charged again until my next due date. Now my service will barely allow me to make phone calls even with full bars of 4g. iv attempted several chat conversations and phone calls to customer service that end up being cancelled because my service goes out and no one ever follows up with a call back to fix my problem.

I signed up with Sprint, had a great deal but, reception was terrible kept dropping calls and use of internet was very bad. I signed up with 100% satisfaction so within 30 days cancelled. I was told I would receive a refund of the activation fee after phone was returned, no problem. I sent phone back and then got a bill for 820.10 so I called they said balance was 0. This was fine, asked about refund they said no I had to cancel in first 3 days. So beware of false advertising and being lied to.

I have called multiple times to cancel my service, they refuse to cancel and keep billing me. NEVER use Sprint, the coverage is awful and they refuse to let go.

I have been with sprint for several years. Ive hit a bump in the road financially. I recently had a baby ad started a new job. The combination of the two have been a little bit of a struggle but because I have been with sprint for so long I thought they would be more helpful. I was previously on a payment extension due to not getting my first paycheck yet. When I spoke with an agent previously she understood my circumstance and was a great help however she explained that the extension at that time could not be any longer than 14 days but to call back when it expires. So today I called back like I was instructed before to get an extension for 2 days. With my first check coming friday I would be able to make a payment for the passed due amount. They fought me tooth and nail. They continuously stated that my situation was not their fualt and they cant reactive services until payment is made. I explained that my son is only 4 months and I need to be able to be contacted in case of emergency, and payment will be made friday. I literally begged, and explained. I am a single father, im doing the best I can and if something happens to my son, I need to know. The woman literally said not our problem. Ive never been this disappointed in a company. I plan on switching carriers as soon as possible.

So I woke up this morning to find out that my service was disconnected.when I called your customer service center I was told my account was past due but my account was not past due. I made a payment of $223 that cover the full balance and then you guys came around and deducted $222 with some cents out of my account a second time, so I called customer care a few days back requesting the money to be refunded because I was double charged; for some reason the supervisor that I spoke with this morning he advised that because the rep that refunded the money processed the wrong amount it was showing my account as past due and that he did an extension for my services to be restored. My account is current and they have the nerve to say I’ll put an extension for 10 days. I emailed the corporate office and no one but no one even bothered to reply back to my email. They are the worst!!!

I have been with Sprint since 2011. The last "plan" I signed up for was misrepresented by the sales agent at the Sprint Store on Langer Farms Pkwy in Sherwood Or. It seems that we were on an "18 month Lease", and that if we didn't perform one of two actions after a suppose d"email notification" that would then charge me a Month to month "rent" that is supposedly not applied to anything.
At the end of it I paid TWICE the actual value for 2 galaxy's and an Iphone 7. This is ridiculous! I will be filing a complaint with the Washington County DA and Oregon DOJ Consumer Protection Section to determine if these actions by Sprint meet with Oregon law.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!

New Account Holder. The representative told me about the safe tracker free trial. You can cancel, no problem. Well took it back to cancel it before the 30 days ended. Guess what?? My first month bill is now $115 MORE FOR RETUNING THE DEVICES!! The safe trackers were part of an installment plan total of $120 (which is why I returned to avoid charges) So sprint wins regardless! Beware of the safe trackers!!!

The problems are numerous and solutions with Sprint are impossible.
After originally opening an account with Sprint and being assured that I would pay no more than $160 a month, I've had an over $300 monthly bill for extra numbers that were added to my account without my permission. I've tried to get this fixed for years and have been told over and over and over that these numbers will be removed and my bill will be reduced and I would be refunded. This never happened as I was constantly thrown between in-store employees and call representatives who couldn't explain the extra numbers or charges, couldn't remove them and yet promised lower monthly bills (again, this never happened).
When I was finally fed up, I left Sprint for T-Mobile. To do this, I had to close out all withstanding balances and pay off my device, which I did. Now, months after leaving Sprint, I've received notice of an overdue bill for one of the numbers I never authorized. Apparently, my account had never been terminated and a balance for this mystery number accrued. On top of this, I was only notified of this overdue balance two days ago and just received a call from a debt collector for the same overdue bill.
I've been on hold with customer service for an accumulated 2 hours +, hung up on twice, forced to pay the amount to the debt collector so my credit wouldn't suffer, and Sprint has still not been able to resolve the issue for me. For years, they promised a solution that never came, a lower bill that never came. I've overpaid them at least $5,000. And now they want to charge me for a mystery number I never authorized on my account and that should have been terminated nearly six months ago.
Do not use Sprint. If you have it, switch. They. Are. The. Worst.

Sprint is using false advertising to have lured me into the Sprint Kickstart 25$ a month for unlimited data , talk and text solo phone plan. As many others have said , the first few hours are fast then severely throttled internet data speed. Also my receipt says 55$ first month and 25$ a month after that, yet I'm being charged 66$ my first month.
Sprint should be prosecuted and held liable for seditious schemes to lure new customers. I'm sure their speed data can be subpoenaed and it can be revealed that their practices are completely illegal

Denny in Oregon finally solved my issue...Shon in NC and Teighlor in La were also very helpful!

I received poor service from Sprint customer service as well as cell phone service. Sprints leasing option is not good for customers as it has you owing a balance once the lease is over. I canceled my service and was still charged for the full balance of cell service and still is today. I contacted sprint and was told they would only credit leasing fees but I was charged for service. I have a 3100 cell phone bill and I returned all 5 phones which sprint is saying the didnt receive as of yet. Sprint service is horrible and their practices for consumers is not competitive or the best for consumers. They have shady practices. Watch out for Sprint as I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years but once they switched to that leasing program its designed to have you pay more money once the lease has ended you will still owe a balance. I will NEVER have Sprint service ever and I will tell everyone I know about my horrible experience with this company. I spoke with 3 reps there and no one could break down why my bill was so high and my service was disconnected in April.

Over the last 18 months, I've been trying to get Sprint to remove a $20/mo insurance fee from a phone on their service. Each call goes exactly the same. They say that I've never asked for the service to be removed, then they say they have to review past recordings, and then they never get back to me about it. And, of course, they promise that the insurance has been removed, but it never is.
Of course, some will wonder: Why stay with Sprint? It's not my account. I call them on behalf of a disabled woman who is unable to make the calls herself, and also unable to double check the bills every month to see if Sprint has made good on their promise. I look in when I'm able.
Sprint and I have gone through this 4 times total now, even though they were told not to engage the service plan when the phone was first purchased. Thus far the total theft is $440.
My next step is to take legal action.
I advise that no one does business with Sprint. Ever. For any reason.

0 start for this company
To whom it may concern, I am very upset with this company, I was told day one that I will pay a bill no more than $190.00 a month and that I was going to get gift cards for enrolling 4 lines with theme, I never received gift cards nor have ever received a bill of $190.00 that was all a joke , I have to call ever month and get a refund ( $15 lol...) ever month . ,My bill today is $354.00 and I called to get a refund and I got hit with the $15 joke refund on the account, I will be canceling the account and taking theme to court for falls information and advertisement UNLESS I GET A CALL BACK and this gets resolved.

Switched providers and decided to try Sprint based on what they said. They quoted us a monthly price, said we could get money back through our credit union and that they would pay off our phones from our previous provider Verizon. Everything they said was a lie, complete bait and switch. I went to the store immediately after we got our bill and was told "what we told you originally was just a quote" by the manager Adam E. and there was nothing he could do. When I went back there (after I switched back to Verizon within 30 days) they told me to call customer service, that there was nothing to do. Andrea L and the store manager Adam E were rude and didn't even care that they lied. I tried to tell them about the offers they said I would get and that it was false information and they just kept telling me to call customer service. Worst experience ever.

About the Corporate Store at: ***
SCAM ALERT!
The customer service representative at this store knowingly tried to scam me by telling me that I couldn't do a simple SIM upgrade when I was changing out phones even though I had been told by two online Sprint representatives that a new SIM would allow my swap. The in-person representative fed me all kinds of lines, telling me I had to buy a new line, or buy a new phone from them, etc. etc., when, all I needed to do was get a new SIM card, like I was told. I called Customer Care from the store and three people again confirmed that I needed only a new SIM. When I informed him of this, he became belligerent and kicked me out of the store.
Sprint overnighted me a new SIM and, what do you know, the phone upgraded itself in THREE MINUTES.
Sociopaths like this are why people are moving to online purchasing and praying that their local store has some sort of automated associate. The psychotic sales rep basically intimated that all the management personnel at this store would take his side--as such, I can only conclude that the entire store is now suspect and will try to oversell you.
Another manager has verified the scam:
First, the rep was completely in the wrong here from start to finish. Nothing else to say about him but he was an as and a liar.
... you would’ve been out of my store in less than 5 minutes because I would’ve activated the new sim and let you on your way instead of trying to get extra sales out of you.
[We] reps get paid on all sales we make that generate profit for the company. SIM card swaps make us no money, so he was trying to avoid doing it. It would have been faster and less annoying if he would have just done it, or even lied and said he didn’t have the right card.
He made the transaction unbearable and unnecessary.

It is unfortunate that this interface requires one star. There should be an option for ZERO STARS! I have had a family plan with Sprint for 25 years and paid them around $60,000. All this time I have had to call customer service frequently to resolve billing and service problems. It has been a struggle, with lies and false claims by representatives and billing errors. Terrible phone service. I hope that I was able, after months, to close my account and stop the madness. Time will tell.

-5 stars. 1. I had an appointment that was scheduled for me by customer care (waited 45 min after scheduled time) -1 2. Phones in store were gross, they looked like they hadn't been cleaned and one had snot on it. -2 3. When it was my turn they skipped me for one of the employee's friends. -3 4. When I was finally "helped," the first thing the salesperson said was, "We don't do that in the store" after I tried explaining that this is what customer care told me to do, and that they would be able to help in the store. She asked with a huff, "What kind of phones?" I told her (MOE) iPhones and that I needed nano cards. She went in the back and gets a big book full of sim cards and slams it down on the counter. She continues to give me attitude. I had had enough and asked for a manager. She walked away laughing and talking trash to other employees and customers. -4 5. When the manager finally came out, she (Christine?) told me they were out of sim cards and when I asked for the area manager's name, she refused and told me that area managers "don't deal with customers." -5 I'm cancelling the order. My advice: Don't believe the current ads that Sprint is running that say switching is easy. Bottom line - if you decide to ignore my advice, whatever you do, don't go to this store expecting anything that resembles SERVICE.

They are a SCAM. I got into the SPRINT from Verizon with Deals that mention BOGO for Iphone 8. At first year everything seem to be alright and since I was in California the service wasnt bad either. After a year I noticed that my bill went from $187 to $218. Once I called them they mentioned that the BOGO offer was only for certain time of period and since it has expired I would need to pay for other phone as well. When I mentioned that I wasnt told about this in Retail store about this and the only reason I moved to SPRINT(not caring of network since I am mostly in WIFI) was the BOGO and monthly bill of $186 which I was assured that it would be total for 2 years. Later once I called the customer service about this they said I should have read the Contract properly(who does that?). And on top of that my bill got increased to $238 few months after the plan had expired. I called them again about this mentioning that I am paying $238 for 2 phone and service which doesn't work most of the time and they mentioned they were trying to compete with the competitors for the Price(First Please come up with a good working service). I get zero network at my work and have to mostly have to get out of work to make a call. When I got tired of this I tried to move to Verizon and wanted to trade in the phone(assume that I have only 3 months left on the contract). When I called them to pay the remaining balance on the phone I was told that I still owed them 198(at this point I was on 21st month of joining Sprint). When I asked them the math of this since I was paying around $34/month on each phone I should only have remaining balance of $102. And the customer service mentioned that I was not paying installment for the phone and was just paying the lease for the phone? Who in the world charges lease amount of $34/month for a phone. I was so furious of the fake scams and misleading advertisement I end up paying 198/phone to get out their service. Please STAY AWAY from this worst Carrier.

Few weeks ago I received a letter from Sprint. I was never their customer, so I didn’t open it and just put it in the garbage pile at first, I thought is another advertisement or something else not important. Later that day I got curious and opened the letter, it was a bill under my company name for almost $600. Accross the road there is a Sprint office, and I decided to ask if this is a valid bill (again, NEVER was a customer, no idea how they look like). The girl told me that this is an actual bill, and there are 6 phones sold to me(?!) and shortly after that the lease was canceled. So, HOW IS IT POSSIBLE to buy 6 expensive phones under someone elses name?! Don’t they ask for some form of ID when you sign a contract or buy something? Customer service told me they cannot say when the account was open and what address the phones were ship to. On the other hand, they claim the phones have GPS and they can track them, well why won’t you do that? You have the right to ask me for money for something I never purchased, but you can’t give me account details, which apparently is under my company name?!? If it was opened over the phone, you know the name of the employee who took the call! If it was opened in an office, they have video cameras and they can see the person, they just don’t want to assist! Even though they lost money! Now they want to get it back from me. I wasted so many hours of my time on the phone, trying to reach them, because of course it takes forever to actually speak with a person, they provided me phone numbers which are not in use. Yesterday I received 6 envelopes stating “Device return kit”. So, they shipped the phones to another address (I have no idea where, but they have it on file), but when they want them back, they ship it to my place? I told them I have nothing to do with them, I opened a police report, Sprint finally opened a case, but they don’t seem very helpful. That company is the WORST!!! I hope they bankrupt! Looks like you can go to them and open an account under someone elses name, no questions asked, no ID wanted. What kind of a company policy is that? I just want to resolve that situation and I will never ever think about them again! I will tell everyone I know to stay away from them! So be careful people, Sprint will gladly try to steal your money, even if you were never involved with them. I can only imagine what they do with their actual customers. Such a shame!

The worst experience in my entire life from a phone company. I left and came back thinking things will be different, NOT. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company to endure horrible customer service and lies. Sprint and Customer Service/Care do not go together. I would not recommend them to anyone if they were the last company around. Please do not waste your money and find a better phone company. They use to be great many years ago now they are sneaky, robotic, untrustworthy company. They make you think that you are getting a deal, but you are getting nothing. "Test Man" you should have stayed with Verizon. Sadly I have been a victim (not customer) with sprint (non cap on purpose) since 2015 or perhaps longer. I have felt trapped for years, now I have finally had enough after a full year of trying to resolve one issue to be toppled with another one just two months ago and for having to deal with someone overseas who has no idea of how to resolve real issues, but yes mam this and yes mam that doesn't mean customer service when you obviously cannot resolve an issue. So long sprint I am taking my business to greener pastures.
