Sprint Now Part of T-Mobile Reviews (%countItem)

I was with Sprint for a very very very long time. In the beginning I didn't have any problems but then things changed. My bills became more and more expensive. Bills would go from $200 to $400 - $600 and had to call multiple times to argue and fix the issue. Finally me and my husband had enough so we left Sprint and went to T-mobile (which I love by the way). I had 4 lines on Sprint but T-mobile was only able to pay and transfer two. The other two had some mix up on Sprints end and when I called Sprint to fix it they told me I had to pay my bill of $900 which I have no clue why it was that much just in order for them to fix the mix up and release the phones and the phone numbers to T-mobile. No one has $900 up front and making payments wasnt an option for them so I was furious with them and had to get the two lines cheap phones thru T-mobile. Then life decided to throw us muiltply curve *** where we couldn't pay the full amount or make payment arrangements. Eventually I forgot overtime with life being so busy and hectic they decided to send me a letter stating that if I don't pay $1386 by a up coming date that they will go into our bank accounts and take the money. Any cards or bank info that was tied to Sprint they would dip their hands and take. Honestly they have no right!!! No matter what policy or terms and conditions they have. To me that's stealing me and my husbands hard earning money. We all have big and important bills to pay like rent, electricty/water, food and cars to get us to work. They do not care if you go homeless or starve as long as they get their money. Mind you I have gave them thousands of dollars for the bills in the past. I tried to work a payment arrangement with them and they said NO! No sympathy No human compassion. I might be wrong a little in this situation but muiltple companys compromise with customers. I would never in my life recommend Sprint to anyone, not even my worse enemy.

When I canceled my service, I asked the representative if I'm 100% all set, and I even mentioned the cancellation fee, he told me I'm all set and done. Unfortunately he was wrong, and couple month later the actual cancellation fee went to collections. Companies like Sprint need to stop pushing surcharges to their customers.

I switched to Sprint from Verizon back when they were offering their "iPhone Forever" promotion and charging $50 a month. About a year or so after I switched to them, my pricing suddenly jumped from $50 monthly to $60 monthly (plus their fees of course). I called in and was informed that the "iPhone Forever" promotion had been discontinued and was replaced by the "Unlimited" promotion at a higher cost. Said they had reached out to customers advising of the increase, but I never received anything. I argued that without my consent they had altered my contract with Sprint and placed me into a more expensive program, and basically forced me into it which is a breach of contract. The person on the phone credited my account some of the difference, and I accepted going into the "Unlimited" promotion as I had no options.
Fast forward to today. I received notification that I had an account discount that was expiring and that my pricing would be going up. To no surprise my latest bill just arrived, at a whooping $95.17 (bare in mind it started at $50 monthly plus fees). Once again my contract has been altered without my consent and I'm being forced into a price increase I have not authorized. This coming on the heels of a potential merge between Sprint and T-Mobile which came along with a letter stating pricing would drop.
Whats worse is the quality of service. You pay for full time service, which only works part time. I have submitted several network issue request via their iPhone app, as well as called in to customer service (overseas based), and gone into stores. At work, I'm roughly 1 mile away from a tower, and even though the phone reads 2 of 4 bars on LTE, even the slightest bit of data usage lags and drains the battery it's looking for service. Several messages about "limited packets", and even their network update fails when calling the ##873283# . It was tolerable before, but after these consistent forced price increases, and continuous decline in service it's time to find another provider. You pay for more than you get with Sprint.
If you have a contact you honor it, and Sprint is clearly not offering that level of service on their pricing or network. Look elsewhere, because over time you'll be more and more disappointed.

I would NEVER recommend Sprint to even my worst enemy. Unless you have money you can hemorrhage for months at a time. We switched from T-mobile to Sprint. Our service was okay where we lived, but we moved to a nearby town. There was no service there. Every now and then I was able to call, but very seldom could I even send a text message (not an imessage.) I was on the phone with Sprint for days and hours telling them about the situation. After talked to several people who said they cannot do anything, they proceeded to tell me that I am out of coverage area and I could submit my proof of new address to the company. They sent me an email address, twice, that was non existent. I called and asked for another way to submit and they told me that this is the only way. A non-existent email address. After lie upon lie, and two months of waiting, as agreed on my part because they said that if I wait 2 months for them to try to 'fix' the get this, non existent towers where I live (a rep finally told me this 2 months later), the only way to finally get me out of the deal was to go through that same department. The one that has an email that does not exist. So I just paid the $1147 to get out of my contact and switch. My idea was to just sell the phones and unlock and sell them to make my money back. I'm currently waiting on the approval of my unlock. They say 24-48 hours. Its been 46 hours and I have ZERO faith that I will get them unlocked without a fight. Sprint? Just say NO!!!

Very Unhappy SPRINT Customer Today!!
In my line of business, I rely on my phone everyday. However, for the past 2-3 weeks, I've been getting a constant "Invalid SIM" error message which prevents using the phone. I would reboot and sometimes it would work, sometimes not. Last night, while performing business, the "Invalid SIM" message returned and multiple reboots were unsuccessful at restoring.
I then attempted partial phone reset options to no avail, and therefore went with the complete factory reset option. The problem with this option is presented when the required verification needed to restore the phone is being "texted" to the disabled phone .
I AM CONSTANTLY ATTEMPTING TO CALL SPRINT FROM MY WIFE'S PHONE BUT IT AUTOMATICALLY & IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECTS EVERY TIME I ASK TO SPEAK WITH A REPRESENTATIVE.
I need my phone replaced TODAY PLEASE for I am losing business as we speak!
Please reach out to me on one of my family's other Sprint devices or
Please ask for Stuart:
The nearest Sprint store is over 30 miles away and I have no current transportation options.
If this cannot be resolved this weekend (7_21_2018)....... PLEASE LET THIS EMAIL SERVE AS A REQUEST TO DISCONTINUE MY SPRINT SERVICE FOR THIS DEVICE >>
...very unhappy right now....
Stuart F..

I literally almost got in an accident today because sprint service is so bad and I had no connection while using my gps. I had false advertisement sales rep lure me in to plans and phone they are absolutely the worst! Period in customer service and in network itself I wish I never left at&t. but now im locked into 3 iphones!!! I cant even give them a 1 star I give 0

Cancelled my line in February 208. They said it was closed and I would be charged a final payment in the next week. They charged me for the month of February & a final payment. They charged me in April for the month of March. I called and asked what the hell, they apologized and said they would refund my money and my account was for sure closed now. THEN THEY CHARGED ME IN MAY FOR JUNE and I called again and said WHAT THE HELL. They apologized and said they would refund all of my money and my line was now cancelled. Now it is JULY 20TH AND I AM STILL CALLING AND ASKING FOR MY MONEY AND THEY ARE SAYING "THE REFUND WAS NOT APPROVED". This company is a huge scam, they have your bank account information and even if you cancel your debit card, they will still draw from your account because they have direct access. This has happened constantly in my time with them and they are NEVER honest in their business practices. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. Their company should be sued for all their worth for taking money from their customers AND former customers.

The worst I have ever dealt with employees are incompetent and unable to use there simple systems for filing customer information and purchasing/returning of hardware. There incompetence has caused me extra charges that were wrongfully applied to my account and when confronted they were unable to fix the issue, they pushed it aside till year later where it was sent to collections because they never figured out how to fix there mistake and is now effecting my credit score. I recently have been contacted by source RM a collections agency who I will also be writing a review on that is now trying to force me to pay charges that sprint has openly admitted it was there fault.

How can they have A- grade if there are 726 negative reviews and only 13 positive, really Revdex.com? Sprint is a joke! However, I am the it that switched from T-Mobile over to Sprint thinking my overall service would increase but that's not the case and I miss T-Mobile daily! I've talked to multiple people about lack of network service I am getting and it always starts with "have you tried turning off your phone". Only time I get service in my house is in my sons room even if I am connected to the Wi-Fi. If I walk out 9/10 times call will drop, how frustrating. Going out of town is usually a nightmare and since I travel a lot it is frustrating not having a phone when you need it. I understand leaving a negative review and just complaining wont do me much good but I just don't know what else to do since its only been 2 months of service and cant get out of with without paying a boat load of money!

Buy or beware
I signed up with Sprint at Best Buy and every question I asked about the plan, phones, and service I was told a lie. I signed up with sprint for the 5 phones for $100 per month. I was told the phones are free. (still have the paperwork) I was told taxes are included. I asked about 10 times 2 different sales associates if the 5 phones for $100 per month would ever go up and everytime I was told “No”. They told me each time I asked the cost of the plan would be $100 for as long as I had the plan. It will never go up. They told me that the phones are free. I just needed to pay $25 each phone and on the next bill I would have a credit of $25 for each phone. I was also told that they would waive the activation fee if I signed up that day. I was told that if I wasn’t satisfied I could cancel within 14 days and wouldn’t be charged a dime.
I got my first bill a few days after signing up and the bill was almost $600.
Phones they charged me $5 each per month plus that $25 credit on my first bill that didn’t happen.
They charged me $40 to activate each phone (5 phone)
When I called Sprint they told me that my “promotion” would end in 8 months.
Needless to say I canceled all the phones within 10 days. However Sprint said I only canceled 3 of the 5 phones within 10 days and the other 2 didn’t get canceled for 30 days. (I ported out the numbers the same day to a new plan) So they continued to bill me for a few months. I never gave Sprint my credit card but I did give it to Best Buy. Sprint charged my credit card for another $140 without me giving them authorization. They even put in a claim on my credit! This entire process has be nothing but awful and I put half of the blame on Sprint and the other half on Best Buy.
It’s been over 6 months and I’m still dealing with this.

I will be taking legal action I am a llc I call in for new service for my new business. I was approve for 5 lines the day after I called back in and was taked to like a dog stating that I have a account under the tax id number that I had on records which turn out to be a lie,, this company hires street people with no resect for customer servcie. As a company that is LLC the person is only the authorized people to make only decision on the behalf of the company or the account,. after about 20 calls a rep. call to make someone to make so since of my problem. the result was that I had a account under my name. crazy being that I never gave anybody any of my information about me and nor it wasn't the time to question about a name of a person that supposedly had a personal account. I think its time for you guy's to go back to count because if you have the ability to run a peoson name with on there promission it's a problem that needs to be fix. The law states that any business that ran as a corporation LLc should be liable for any bodies personal issues because it is it's on entergy which you do not know who are all the owner which at the point you have violated erika tax sevice llc for the right to obtain services as a consumer/business.

This company sucks! We had two months left on our phone purchase contract and my husband wanted to just pay off our phones to SAVE money going out each month. We had to pay 137.00 each and it dropped our bill by only 13.00/mo! We asked if there was an early payoff charge and they said no. Apparently after my husband went in and talked to them, he was told that if we continued with the contract then they eat the cost of the sales tax but if we pay them off early then we are charged the sales tax! No up front absolute honesty! Just deception and manipulation to take from consumers as much as possible! My husband could have easily had the sales person inform him of this when he went to pay it!

Sprint has deceptive advertising practices.I paid off a phone on my account two days ago to be ported over to another carrier. Two days now and my phone is still not unlocked therefore I am unable to port my phone over.
I also have numerous other complaints with Sprint that I will address at another day.
Stay away from Sprint

I have repeatedly been overcharged by Sprint, denied credits I was promised, and transferred from person to person on the phone until, after months of trying to resolve my complaint, I simply gave up. I signed up for an 18 month contract, was promised a price in writing, and once my policy was set up the price has been repeatedly raised, and my credit card charged the higher price, despite my contract. Every customer rep with sprint (I've spoken with at least 40) gives me a different answer and reason, then transfered me to someone else that continues to give me misinformation.

On 6/11/18, I went into the Sprint store in Santa Monica (720 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90401). I lost my phone the day before and wanted information on replacing it with my insurance. I was "greeted" by an employee named Arturo. From the beginning, he had a very condescending attitude towards me. I should've known this beforehand, since Arturo provided poor service when I bought a phone in November 2017. After explaining my situation, he went to get some paperwork. Soon after an employee named Jazmine came up to me and said "yo - you need help?" as if she was speaking slang (interesting, because I'm African-American). Arturo returned with the paperwork and the two of them were more interested in discussing their lunch instead of helping me with the forms. Arturo then directed me to call the insurance company to discuss the claim. During the process, he was VERY rude and condescending. While on the phone with the insurance company, I had to ask Arturo a few questions. Again - he was extremely reluctant to answer me. After getting nowhere with the insurance company and because of Arturo's abysmal behavior, I politely asked for parking validation and left the store. I returned home and filed a claim online. I contacted Sprint customer support about the incident, but was not satisfied after the discussion. I eventually closed my Sprint account on 6/22/18 due to this horrendous experience. Arturo and Jazmine provided extremely bad customer service. They were both rude, condescending and I suspect this may be due to racial discrimination. After reading several Yelp reviews, it is apparent that bad service is normal for this Sprint location.

Im very unhappy with my service ive been paying all this money for service that I feel im not getting they need to do something better with there service or I will find another phone company that will better suit my needs

I wouldn’t say I don’t recommend sprint, but I most definitely wouldn’t recommend going to the Robinson mall location in Pittsburgh pa. Anything that has ever came out of an employees mouth hasn’t been true, especially the manager. They seem friendly and helpful, but everything has been a scam, nothing they have done to help was ever followed through on, and I can’t wait for my lease to end. You get what you pay for with this company, and sadly it’s reflected through all ends of customer service at this store. I’ve had enough with the lies and inconvenience this lease has gave me.

I had the worse experience with sprint.my phone bills were increasing every month and I had to reach out to them once a month in order to get a credit adjustment. I finally gave up on them and try to move to a different cell phone carrier. Even thought my phone bills were paid and my phone devices didn't have a contract they refused to unlock my phones. First they told me my phones would be unlock in three hours, then they said 24 hours, then they told me 72 hours, then they changed to three business days. They canceled my accounts but they didn't unlock my phones. My daughter went out of town and she had to be looking for wifi connections. In order to text me because even with wifi she can't make phone calls. I am super worry about her. I called sprint in order for them to unlock my daughters device they made me wait for hours, they said they can't do anything about it. How can sprint hold your devices and send me emails offering me money to stay with them while they are doing this to me.

My contract was finally up and I contacted Sprint to exercise the buy out on my iPhone telling them very clearly that I needed to switch services so I could actually use my phone as there was no service in my home area. They said they were sorry I was having such an issue but at no time did anyone bother to tell me I would have to specifically request my phone be unlocked to use it anywhere else. Only after trying to activate another service was I told I had to specifically ask "I would like my phone unlocked" even after all bills were paid and there was zero owing on my account. Then when I did call them, they said they'd "put in a request and it will take between 24 and 72 hours to be completed". This was very upsetting as I asked them what was I supposed to do without a phone for that long and living alone? Long story short - after a very long conversation and a "discussion with my manager" I was told, at 10:00 on a Friday night, that it would be 5-6 hours and my phone would be unlocked and I'd get an email to let me know. Needless to say, 10 hours later and no email, my phone is still locked, and none of their customer service people can or want to do anything about it. This is the absolute worst customer service I've seen in a very long time. They should be held accountable for holding their customers hostage but taking their money and not providing the service they agreed to in the CTIA Consumer Code

I tried to resolve a dispute with Sprint as to a breach of contract issue, but I’ve been actively ignored by Sprint upper management. My husband and I switched over from Verizon to Sprint with the buy one/get one free phone offer, in addition to their $100 gift card offer. We discovered while going over our bill later that Sprint has been charging us for both phones, as well as never sending our gift cards. The deal was we would get gift cards as well as a friend of our choosing who was already a Sprint customer. That friend never received his gift card. I called customer service and was told only the store we purchased our phone(s) could assist us. We went into the store a total of three times and sent emails to the store manager. Nothing came of our request to be reimbursed. I sent a letter to Sorinf Headquarters in Kansas City and got no response.
