Not only is Sprint's cellular coverage horrible, so is their customer service. I had a buy one get one free deal with Sprint, yet I was NEVER given the monthly credit due under that contract until I called. I had to call every month for 15 months to request the credits promised under my contract. 14+ hours of my time wasted to get them to fulfill the contract. Yet, when I terminated my lease with Sprint, they continually referred to MY commitments under the contract. Apparently Sprint has not commitment to its customers. CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! I wish I could give Sprint negative stars.

After being with them since 2012, they have basically hijacked my number when I tried to port to a much, much more reasonably priced competitor. Over 8 days and 4 separate phone calls/online chats later, including 2 supervisors, my phone is still locked. They are a bunch of lying pirates that are holding my number hostage until I pay another bill which isn't due until January 19th. My husband and mother are still active on the account (my husband is actually the primary holder) so there is NO REASON for them to force me to pay in advance for service I am not even receiving, just to leave. As soon as they unlock me, I am paying off the other phones on the account and requesting unlocks and we are getting as far away from these scam artists as possible. THE CALL CENTER IS A JOKE- they are all overseas and read from a script. If I hear one more time how they "can understand what I'm feeling, ma'am," I may go crazy. They do nothing but read from their customer service scripts and give conflicting information. It's a nightmare- BUYER BEWARE!!!

I switched form Verizon to Sprint, and it has been an incredibly difficult, and harrowing experience. Their customer service over the phone and chat appears to be attentive, but there is always misinformation and no follow through on what they say they will do. After almost two years with Sprint, and upwards of 20 hours trying to resolve disputes with them (including their refusal to pay my early termination fee which was promised) and unbelievable actions such as saying they will update my name, address, and billing preferences which were never done, I have attempted to reduce my monthly bill twice, and both times it was raised. This company has no transparency, and hires call center operators who are not familiar with company policies or procedures. I honestly considered that my initial contact with Sprint might have been a scam due to the poor service, and lack of follow through. I received nothing in print either digitally or to my address, and to this date have not seen or signed any service contract. To add insult to injury, the signal in my rural area is abysmal.

I purchased an iphone 8 via sprint in October of 2017 and from the start I was experiencing trouble receiving calls and notification of calls. I called customer support several times and was told to reset my phone, refresh, etc etc, I was told that the device is fine and there are no issues with data or connectivity in the area. On Dec 23rd I was finally told that a lot of the new iphones had faulty sm cards and that I would need to go into the sprint store to have them replace the sm card. They scheduled an appointment for me, and I went in (begrudgingly, they should have sent me a replacement back in Oct, and apologized for the fact that I've paid for a phone and a service that hasn't fully worked for almost 3 months. ) I went into the store for my appointment and was told that they don't know why customer support set up an appointment for me without calling them first, because they don't have any sim cards. This was a manager that sent me away without offering any other strategy to rectify the situation. Terrible terrible terrible. I can go on and on, but I'll stop there.

Jeremy at Retail store failed to do proper ticket input in system, create a lease agreement, enter correct IMEI info on phone. When I called to make appointment with Manager Ricky, Jacob laughed at my request when I demanded Jeremy be counseled. Their failure to do their jobs properly caused unlock on my phone to take 3 weeks and required escalation to Executive and Regulatory Dept within Sprint. The contact info for their Executive escalation of complaint was denied me on several calls to Cust Serv and Acct Services, and I had to research blogs to get it. They also made changes to my account without my authorization. We are stuck with them until my husband's contract is complete and lease paid.
