Terrible Customer Service
I do not subscribe to the PP. However, on July 2 at @ 3am, a carrier drove over my new sod and sprinkler and dropped off a paper. He tore up the sod and broke the sprinkler. I called customer service every other day for a couple of weeks and was assured “upper management” would call me back. Then I was told to email customer service which I did on July 19. I included a video and pictures. I received a response that it was being escalated to “upper management”. I have continued to email and no one has contacted me. I want a response and money to cover a new sprinkler. Unacceptable!

Our records indicate that a Sunday newspaper has been delivered to your address since August I will make sure this subscription is stopped and the the invoice is deleted

I apologize for the difficulties getting through to customer service I show a stop on your account from 1/30/to 4/6/and the total days credited of Are you saying that the newspaper never stopped during your time away? The last payment we received for your account for $was posted on 1/7/for papers received 10/24/to 1/16/ The expire date was slightly less due to the holiday paper charges Please let us know if further explanation is needed

This was a sale from Onshore Marketing asking a survey question and as thanks it was agreed to start a subscription I will put a stop on it immediately

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/02/13) */ I am sorry for the confusion with the billing of your accountPart of the reason for the additional/increased charges was a rate increase that took affect in September as well as an additional Bonus Day paper (the Craft Beer insert) both of these effected the expire and balance on your accountI will make the necessary credit to cover this additional expense on the account

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/09/04) */ I apologize for the missing newspapers as well as the troubles associated with our call centerWe had a change in distribution and did not anticipate fully the increased calls because of this changeI checked your account to be sure all credits for missed editions had been appliedThe service in Eagan is starting to improve so we hope to gain your subscription back in the future Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 10, 2015/09/09) */

I forwarded this phone number, ###-###-####, to all of our telemarketers asking for immediate confirmation that the number has been added to all Do Not Call files

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/07) */ There are notes on the account that the account was flagged for a refund in the amount of $on 9/17/It was sent, apparently to a wrong address I will find out where the check went and get it refunded to the address noted on this complaint Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 12, 2016/02/11) */ WHY? I am due a refund! I only keep getting the run aroundThey said they put it back into a Visa card - an old one, so a paper check was to be mailedIt never was! I never rec'd a refund! I am due my money back, with interest too!!!! It is terrible how a company can keep your money for items never rec'd and tell you they are working on it, takes a long time, it was sent to youI NEVER REC'D THE REFUND!! Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 14, 2016/02/12) */ This is a bit confusingOur records indicate that a refund in the amount of $was sent on 9/17/The account further states that it was refunded to a credit card on file but the card was no longer valid so a check was mailed, apparently to a wrong addressI will reach out to our AP department to see when/if the check was mailed and if it was cashedI will use the address noted on this form, 35th Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN for the addressI will get this refund sent

I put a note on the address that no starts are permitted per resident request There are not pending bills and there should not be moving forward I apologize for any frustration we have caused

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2016/03/01) */ A list of missing papers and credits applied to Mr [redacted] account was sent last weekThe amount owed is indicated on the invoices that are sentIf a paper is missed the subscription is extended by the value of that paperThe key would be to getting the paper delivered as it should be dailyThat will be escalated immediately

According to our records this refund was processed on May 13, in the amount of $

Per your request, the full amount paid for the additional Sunday newspapers has been transferred to your one Sunday newspaper Subscription I do apologize for the lack of delivery for your additional Sunday copies despite repeated attempts to rectify the situation Thank you for your patience and continued readership

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/13) */ The Sunday subscription has been stopped and the balance is zeroI apologize for this error,

I show this address as a long term customer, there are not complaints associated with the address How can I help?

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/10/08) */ According to our records your last payment came out on September and a stop was put on the account Spetember (although the stop was entered on September it takes days to take effect)I apologize for the delay, a refund was processed on October Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 9, 2015/10/08) */

I am rejecting this response because: With all the credits for missing deliveries, there is no way that my week Sunday Only subscription was going to run out near the 8/28/notice date on the first noticeAlso, both (all) notices give no term of serviceHow is anyone supposed to know how long their subscription runs through? The OPT OUT is wrongSubscribers should have to OPT IN to receive these "so called" Special EditionsI know I will NEVER subscribe to this newspaper again with its dismal customer service track recordVery disappointing!

I responded to this complaint via email The balance was deleted on 9/just days after an invoice was sent Had I processed the balance two days earlier there would not have been an invoice

Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 12, 2015/10/07) */

The refund was done on 12/8/back to her credit card ending in *** The amount of the refund was $
