They have managed to cancel the hotel reservations through [redacted] which was combined with my flight. The other hotel reservation which was a stand-alone will now be used as my hotel booking. The cancelled hotel portion was to be refunded at the full amount.

Complaint

-On Saturday, April 9, 2016, I made a reservation through Priceline.com for a room for two persons at the [redacted] for two (2) nights, May 20th and 21st. The Priceline Trip Number: [redacted]. The [redacted] confirmation number was [redacted] The total charges were USD...

$319.70 and I paid this with my personal credit card. The purpose of this trip was a conference in Philadelphia scheduled for May 20th 2016.
-I was informed on Wednesday, April 20, that the conference for this trip had been cancelled for business reasons. I therefore determined that I would instead take my daughter and grandson on a bus tour of Philadelphia, a tour of Independence Hall and a visit to my birthplace, [redacted].
-I contacted Priceline.com and requested that the [redacted] reservation be amended to add the evening of May 19th to the reservation and was told that this could NOT be done due to Priceline.com's security concerns.
-I therefore asked that the original two day reservation be cancelled and my advance credit card purchase of USD $319.70 be refunded.
-Priceline.com REFUSED to do this unless I contacted the [redacted] and had an employee, by name, say that the [redacted] would cancel the reservation. I did so, the employee's name was Taylor V[redacted].
-I called Priceline.com back and was told that Priceline would have to verify the voracity of my statement.
-I told Priceline to do what they had to do and call me back. (This is all on 4/21/16)
-Instead of a call-back (they had my number on the reservation form), they sent me an email asking me to AGAlN call the Priceline Customer Service. I did so.
-The Lady answering stated that they needed 30 minutes to get some information (she was on a cell phone and the connection was very bad.)
-Since Priceline.com is a reputable company, I would expect a simple cancellation and a refund to my credit card. This has NOT happened to this hour-(4/21/16 @5:37PM EDT.)

I am rejecting this response because:The vehicle I was offered when I went to the [redacted] company was not a Specialty Vehicle.  According to the company themselves, my car type was NOT listed as a Specialty Vehicle, but as a "Manager's Special" which according to Thrifty was any car that was available.  The representative at the Thrifty rental car company said that if my vehicle type was given to them by Priceline as a Specialty Vehicle then I would have received a vehicle such as a truck.  A compact car is not what I would have received and in their system it was not listed as a Specialty vehicle.  I did not receive the vehicle that I reserved, nor did I receive a vehicle that met the classifications listed in my confirmation email.

Hi. Please see the summary of our research for this customer.Issue: I spoke with [redacted] and I have verified that she booked 7 reservations with us travelling with [redacted] (7N) for the same itineraries. All PNRs were affected by a drastic schedule change and because of that she’s...

demanding for a hotel stay that accommodates 7 people in [redacted] (SDQ) for the outbound and for the return. I have contacted 7N and spoke with two agents ([redacted]) from [redacted]. Both of them advised that the issue is already escalated to their management. I advised [redacted] that the airline is actively working on their case but she’s unhappy because she has been waiting for their resolution for 21days now. I called 7N again to possibly talk to the department who is currently handling the case, I was told that they do not have a phone and I can only reach them via email [redacted] I have advised that customer that we will wait for the airlines response but she demands to have an answer until tomorrow. She asked for a full refund and a compensation. She threaten that she will be calling the corporate office again and again if we do not provide a compensation and refund for the tickets. Resolution: I have re-booked all the passengers on the same exact flights per their request and currently in communication with [redacted] in reissuing all the tickets. We provided a $50 per ticket ([redacted] compensation due to drastic schedule change via refund request. Per my conversation with [redacted] she already booked a hotel in SDQ and still contacting [redacted] for compensation.

But your service askes me to contact with [redacted].com myself and didn't mention that one of the ordre is booked by the other compay. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I don't like the result offered because there was another option of hotel that would be acceptable and the only offer made by Priceline.com was not. I called them and accepted the option to receive amount paid + 20%.I still don't like how I was treated by them but I don't want to spent more time with this issue.
