We
have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, we have again reviewed this
matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable
conclusion. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can add to what has already been
stated in our previous correspondence. We are sorry that we are unable to issue
any refunds while this matter is in dispute with the credit card issuing bank.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I am satisfied with the refund. However, it seems to me that Pricelines business tactics are not completely forthcoming. As I stated before, I booked through Priceline and at no time was I informed that the reservation would be going through their "sister" company [redacted]. Nor was I ever redirected to the [redacted] website. This seems to be a convenient way for Priceline to deflect the issue at hand. Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I contacted the hotel directly. They offer no options for Smoking. The whole property in a non-smoking property; meaning at NO place on the whole property do they allow smoking. I would have to leave the hotel and park, which is a 20 minute drive, just to be able to smoke. I was never informed of this in advance nor was I ever informed just to get to the to the hotel/resort I would be required to pay a $15 daily admittance fee just to get to my hotel room.
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I was never aware that I was accepting a non-refundable vacation package. The screens that I viewed all expressed that I would cancel w/o penalty up to 24 hrs before my expected trip. Priceline fraudulently locked me into a vacation package that I never agreed to. I never had access to the screen presented by the Priceline management team on this screen. The website is confusing/glitchy on purpose so the Priceline can lock customers into un-refundable vacation packages.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Please CANCEL my complaint. There must have been a miscommunication from the [redacted] representative who told me they do not own [redacted]s, because I was able to rent a [redacted] after all. I would like to withdraw my complaint immediately. -[redacted]
According to the consumer, the hotel does not provided the guaranteed

We have contacted the property and confirmed that
the hotel does provide an indoor pool as an...

I appreciate the opportunity to clarify.

I am rejecting this response because: It does not address the fact that the 24 hour limit on the Guarantee is hidden. If it was in ANY of the materials you normally look at to make the reservation, that would have been fine. If you have enough space to put "100% price match Guarantee" and the other wording, you have enough room to say "in first 24 hours." I'm not looking to do business with people where I need to check the fine print for weasel clauses.

Kindly close this case. There is nothing further that Priceline can do once the Airline takes control of the ticket. Thanks.

I am rejecting this response because: The business claims that the motel confirmed that they credited the "consumer's credit card"....
No additional information is given. I am therefore left to understand that "the consumer" is me. This being the case, $76.29 was charged to my account on June 25th; this same amount was credited on July 1st. However, I have no idea where this charge came from to begin with; I did not stay in a motel on that date and it has nothing to do with the original charge of $101.96. The business response is not satisfactory and appears to hedge the real issue.(If "the consumer" is the 2nd party (again the business does not clarify), the $76.29 was in fact credited to the 2nd party. However, what occurred upon arrival at the motel is that my card was to be credited $101.96 and the second party charged $76.29. It is my opinion that when the business became aware of this they "reversed course", crediting the 2nd party and refusing to credit my account in order that they retain the $25.00 booking fee. If the business has poicy to this effect it was NEVER provided by the motel or by the business as a explanation.)
Sincerely,
[redacted]
I have received the consumer’s additional comments. As
you requested, we have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked
anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. Our credit card chargeback
team has determined that the consumer disputed the purchase via his/her credit
card issuing bank and received funds back through the dispute. The consumer
must contact [redacted] directly for any further assistance. We
are sorry that we are unable to assist the consumer any further in this
situation.

Dear [redacted]
Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding
your unconfirmed reservation for Trip Numbe[redacted]
We are writing to let you know that we received your
Revdex.com concern in our Executive Offices.
We understand your...
concern about that pending amount that
was held on your account. As part of the request process, we authorize your
card to verify that you have enough funds to cover the cost of your
reservation.
Your bank might advise you that this is a pending
transactions; however, it is authorization, and it should automatically drop
off when the charge is processed to your account. An authorization is not a
charge, so it will not appear on your monthly statement. You will only be
charged for your requests that are accepted. Depending on your bank, and in
most cases, authorizations are removed within three to at most seven days.
We apologize; however, we are unable to refund the
difference in rates.
However, we would like to offer you a 15% coupon for a
future Express Deal purchase. The coupon expires on May 25, 2017.

We are sorry we did not provide you the answer that you
are looking for and we thank you for your time.
Sincerely,

Purchased a hotel booking with airport shuttle for $513. The hotel states they offer no such service but they are willing to book me transportation for $240 round trip. After making Priceline aware of the issue they keep referring to unofficial sources of information regarding the presence of an airport shuttle. They have confirmed with the hotel that no shuttle service is provided but have done nothing to remedy the issue. The first part of the remedy is to stop advertising and selling a service not actually offered. This is an unfair/deceptive business practice. This is unfair to the consumer who has been cheated, and unfair to competitors who are not engaging in deceptive advertising practices. The second part of the resolution is a choice of 2 options: Pay for (either by direct payment to me or booking it themselves) a round trip airport transfer OR Upgrade my hotel reservation to include breakfast for 2 at no cost to myself.
Sorry for delay in reply but I have had a lot of personal idsues that have had me out of town and without access to internet. Not sure exactly why I have to provide the requested information because Priceline acknowledged responsibility in 2 personal emails one of which I waz asked about the particular customer service senior agent Jamaica whom I had my main issues with. But anyway I still haven't received any type of redund or reinburstment for the money charged from my [redacted] Prepaid Serve Card but was told Priceline actually went back in system and blocked refund from [redacted] on October 10, 2015 and recharged the disputed amount again causi g the whole refund process to be played oit that much longer. Now to my understanding there is a total of 4 or 5 Request Numbers all for the same date October 6, 2015 all of which was done in the early morning before noon. However at this time I only have 2 of them on hand however I am working on obtaining the others but the 2 I have on hand is:Priceline Request #: [redacted]Priceline Request #: [redacted]Which are all linked to my same email which is [redacted].
